I'm really impressed with my mani/pedi and the service I received here with (I think) Tina and Melissa. Very professional work and the quality is great! My gel Manicure is still holding on and pedi is still flawless despite the 3 week growth. And I am pretty harsh with my hands and feet! I showed the nail technician what shade of white/ neutral I wanted and she NAILED IT with OPI funny bunny. Parking is Ventura hassle but it's worth it. My gel manicures have never lasted this long. I returned to this salon today, remembering that I had a great experience here last year. This visit exceeded expectations. The front desk person is warm, professional, courteous and thoughtful. They were running a bit behind today due to someone calling out sick lasts minute--not their fault--and they couldn't have been more thoughtful or accommodating. Honestly one star is not even enough for what I just experienced. I was in shock after all the great reviews I would of never thought I received such terrible service. So my first warning should of been that they have no pedicure chairs. This is really a nail salon solely for nails not a pedicure salon as they use large containers with water for your pedicure. Yes! they go back and forth dumping and filling the containers. As I sat to get the Best pedicure they offered after about five minutes of my feet soaking the water was freezing. The woman doing my pedicure was a bit elderly and I felt bad asking for more hot water so I quickly realized a quick pedi would work best for this situation. (Def not a sit, soak and indulge situation) On to my nails, so the nail tech (which I think was also an owner because she had her two children there) took about 10-15 minutes looking for the dip polish color I chose. After not being able to find it she asked if I'd like to change my color, which I then had no choice but to change. While filing and buffing my nails the tech must of hit my cuticles with the machine and apologize at least 10 times! Im not sure if it was just a bad time for her? After she completed my nails and they looked nothing like the color on the sample nail they use to preview the color, I had to ask her if she was almost done? She proceeded to tell me it was her first time using the dip powder and asked if I wanted to do a gel color instead since the color was so different than the sample nail. It was really frustrating as though I was doing dip, I could of just got a gel mani if I wanted gel. Longer story cut short there was no effort in creating a good customer experience at all. I was horrified. After the service, the tech walks up to a man at the counter and they tell me I don't have to pay for the terrible service (Even After I explained I want to pay because I want good service) they both proceeded to look at me as though they didn't even understand what I was saying. They did not try and fix my nails or match my toes nothing. I left with terrible nails and clear toes. Definitely not returning. read more

First time here and I was actually pretty impressed! I've been to different nail salons and have not been motivated in getting my nails done lately because the results haven't been up to par. But today was different! I made an appointment for me and my friend and they seated us quickly. Super nice. We both got gel nails. The cleaning, shaping, and painting were all great for me. You can tell they were very meticulous about the whole process which I loved. I hated leaving a nail salon and seeing paint on my skin underneath the nail or the paint being uneven, sloppy-looking, etc. but I walked out loving my new nails! My friend and I did street parking right across, free for 2 hours without permit. The pedicure chairs were a bit different as they do not have massaging chairs but very comfortable loveseat type of chairs. I'm giving 4 stars because I felt that some parts of the process were a bit long. I loved how the nails looked but the amount of time I was there for was a little too much. They also did a great job with the massage, super relaxing, and they actually massage you longer than 10 sec which was amazing (compared to other nail salons). I've been here three times now, and I'm never going anywhere else!!! I've hopped around the Valley going to different salons trying to find the right one. After 3 salons that I liked permanently closed during Covid, I found Purity, and am so glad I did. It's nice, clean, and they always take you at your appointment times, which is a huge bonus for me (hate waiting after I've made an appt). Lynn is extremely meticulous and thorough, and a very good nail artist. I came to her with a difficult design, and she took her time to make it look just like the picture. Ken was also very good and had that same level of attention to detail, which I appreciate. It's unfortunate they had a small fire that forced them to close and remodel after they had just opened, but I'm so glad they bounced back and are officially reopened! The best mani/pedi I've ever had. Ken and Anushka paid so much attention to detail and were so sweet and accommodating that I was compelled to leave a glowing review. I chose a super glittery polish for the ends of my fingernails and all over my toes. Ken informed me that it wouldn't be very glittery and suggested I choose something else. I went with gold sparkles on my fingers but decided to keep the glittery polish on my toenails. Anushka started applying it, and I noticed the glitter was indeed very disperse. I kicked myself for not picking a different varnish but didn't think any more of it, until I noticed that Anushka had tweezers out and was INDIVIDUALLY putting extra sparkles onto my toenails, coat after coat after coat. I was blown away and so gratified! Have never experienced such good service at a salon in my life! My manicure was also utterly fantastic. Ken was SO detail-oriented; after the varnish had dried, he went back and examined my fingers again, filing meticulously and picking away dead skin where necessary. I was so impressed! Called in the morning for a 1p appointment and they were able to get me in the same day. If you want any gel design, I'm told it's good to tell them when you make the appointment as well. I picked a picture that was posted and asked to copy that design. They were happy to oblige. Rachel was my nail tech and she wasn't talkative and got to work!! I love that. She helped pick a nice neutral base color for me. The total cost was pricey with the gel design. Out the door it was $70 and if you use a CC they will add $1.50 to your card. i was able to tip via venmo directly to the nail technician. The shop is hidden and didn't see any parking lot, but there was metered parking across the street. read more

I got my nails done on June 18th by Lynn. It was red french. I loved it so much, So I went back there. This was my 2nd visit and a bit disappointing. I should've made an appointment specifically with her. But I didn't. That's my biggest mistake. Today was male nail tech. I've been to so many different nail salons. But this is the first time the nail tech removed the previous gel and reapplied new gel before shaping. Well, each tech has a skill. I respect that. I literally pointed out the poster on the wall, I want my french white nails just like that. He nodded. But he started doing full white gel nails. So I had to stop him. The problems started when he applied base color without asking me. Ok, if he paid attention to what I said, he would know that the base color should be light pink. But it was milkish white. So I said this is too white since I'm going to get french white nails. Lynn was behind him and told him in their language. So he grabbed two colors and showed them to me. I already could tell he was very irritated by me. Also, he didn't take care of my cuticles. I had to ask him to do it. He just cut whatever is visible. When he applied top gel, I could tell it was not enough top gel. When I got out of the salon and checked my nail, I noticed empty spots on the tip of the nails. I had to go back there to fix it. He didn't say a single word and just did it. I paid $95 for nails. So please shape and clean my cuticle. Also, I can request the colors that I want. When I got my nails done with Lynn, she showed me the different shade of color for the base. Don't get me wrong. His skill is good. But don't be sassy when I request the color I want. It was very stressful and tensed an hour and 40 min. Next time, I'm going to make an appointment with Lynn. read more

I went to this place because of Yelp reviews. I had told them in advance I needed a nail repair and to be wrapped and they said ok. I got there and reminded the girl at check in and also asked my manicurist several times as well. Her solution was to use glue. 2 days later polish completely pealed off and my nail is still broken and worse than before. Waste of time and money. I was a little lost when I arrived but they're deeper into the plaza and the big sign says something like Larissa Nails but it is in fact them. I got a fill here with 3 broken nails. Julie did my nails and she did a great job. They charged me $10 for that on top of the $65 for the service, which is quite expensive. They never explained the extra charge for the broken nails, fine whatever. 3 days later a nail broke and I called them to schedule a repair for that nail..my appt was for Wednesday at 6:30pm.. I arrived about 30 min early hoping they could take me, they said no and only Julie can do the repair.. so I rescheduled for Saturday. The next day another nail broke opening a plastic bag. My appointment was for 1230 on Saturday and they called me at 12:12pm when I was already on my way saying they are behind schedule and wanted to push my appointment back. When I arrived Saturday at 2:45 when they could take me..they did not mention how much it would cost for 2 broken nails and someone completely different repaired my nails which made no sense. When I was ready to leave, they wanted to charge me $20. I asked why and then the manager came over and brought out the price list (which is behind the counter not displayed) the price list said $10 for broken nail repair and she said she was charging me $15 since it was more than 10 days even though it was only 8 days after my initial service. I don't appreciate not being explained their pricing when it's not displayed anywhere. I tried this place after a friend recommended it but I will NOT be coming back nor will I be recommending this place to anyone. They nickel and dime for broken nails when the nails never should have broke after just a few days. read more

I wish I could give them 6 stars. All things considered, this may be THE MOST pleasant experience I've ever had at a nail salon. This place is perfection, and they're doing exactly all the things they should be doing to keep us safe. Cleanliness was inspiring. Temperature checks at the door. Comfortable and clean arm chairs! The outdoor shopping center is tiled, therefore it's totally chill to be getting your nails done out there, unlike some places (whom I admire for their hustle) are in EZ ups next to car exhausts. Ways I felt extra taken care of? - if a guest checked in, the woman giving me a manicure asked me if she could be excused real quick while another woman did my pedi. This was such a small courtesy, but you don't see it often and it really stood out! - after completely painting one of my hands, she asked me again to look and make sure the color looked right to me before starting my other hand, again a small yet mighty gesture. They take their time to do things right but also stay on time.
