Have been to this location a good amount of times and overall, I have had good experiences. I usually order a honey green milk tea with extra honey and light ice. I love this drink because it reminds me of my favorite drink from Cha. This past visit I tried the matcha with fresh milk. It was good, i would give it a 4/5. We just went to get boba not from the area saw it on yelp and we got there at 9:50. They said they were no longer taking orders since they were closing at 10. It doesn't take 10 mins to make boba. We typically go to the one by SDSU but since we were in the area, we stopped by. Empty place, no one inside except the two workers. The place is clean and spacious which was nice and the workers are very friendly and welcoming. We ordered our Fresh Milk Family with almond milk and while we waited for our drinks, I saw the gentleman who was making our drinks walk up to the other associate and said "You know what I just noticed?" while pointing to the almond milk carton. He mentioned it was past the date and had expired already. To which he was told to "just taste it". They went to the back to look for more almond milk but found none so they walked back to the front and the second guy said out loud, "It's okay!! It's only 3 days past the date". My husband asked if it was expired so they nodded their heads and said. "Yea!" They apologized and mentioned that they were waiting for a new shipment of products. The gentleman who was making our drinks clearly was not comfortable giving us drinks with expired milk so he looked for an alternative and found Soy milk. We agreed to have soy milk and so he remade our drinks. While we really appreciated his paying attention to this matter, we were bothered by the other gentleman. If he was willing to turn a blind eye to the expiration date, what else has he given to customers that were expired??? This will most likely be our first and last time to this location. They were very sweet but knowing that their products have gone over the date and they were almost willing to give us a drink like that was not okay with us. Ordered the taro fresh milk. It was an ice blended drink. Instead of a regular fresh milk. Plus it had no sweetness at all. I asked if they could remake it, and was told I would be charged again. I informed them that I wanted a fresh milk drink not anything blended and they told me that it says it on the menu I showed them the In Person menu (which didn't say anything about it being blended) and they informed that the website menu says it.
