Great shop , very skilled mechanics . The service writer here is honest and their techs know what they're doing. From a simple oil change to major jobs, I'm sure they'll have you covered. There is a waiting room with a tv . If you're getting an oil change or tune up, or something minor , The waiting room is comfy. This shop can get busy, even with maybe 3 technicians. My husband suggested this location, i was hesistant because I haven't had my car serviced in the IE and i didnt know the location . I called before i arrived to ensure they could take me before closing . The lot is shared with multiple businesses and the parking lot isn't big but it's a decent size . I waited about 10 minutes or so to get my car serviced, rightfully so as they had other clients and it was about an hour til closing time . Overall turnaround time was less than 40 minutes . My granddaughters 2008 Hyundai Sonata was making a noise sounding like the power steering fluid was low. The reservoir was full. I took the car to JD's. It turned out to be the idler pulley and they replaced it at a very fair price. I've brought vehicles to JD's before and will bring them back when needed. read more

Jp or Jb was rude initially when he picked up the phone. I was trying to get a quote for repairs and at some point the conversation he got silent and I replied "hello" and answered "yes what do you want done" he was not friendly or helpful and he quoted me a ridiculous amount. I called THE AUTO SHOP in Rancho and was quoted half the price he quoted for the same service requested. Don't bother wasting your time or money. read more

Was recommended by a reliable friend to take my daughter's vehicle here. Took the car in and they diagnosed it as needing a new engine. My daughter was devastated but we decided to take it for a second opinion took it to Ochoa Brothers our normal mechanic like we should've and he diagnosed it as needing to replace the water pump! Running great now my daughter is happy!!! Would not recommend this place at all unless you want a wrong diagnosis and spend money you don't have too. read more

The clutch on our Volkswagen went out and our fly wheel was worn. Although it was near closing time, they did not only have the skills to replace the clutch and repair the flywheel, they accommodated our car to be tolled there even after business hours. They were courteous and helpful when I called which was appreciated. They found the most cost effective solution which did not require replacing the flywheel. If I could give 0 stars I would. I came here because I was referred by my coworker. My car was leaking oil so my husband calls the shop to see if they could work on Jeeps and they said they could. After looking into my car they said they needed to replace the oil, replace the oil filter housing, & pressure wash the bottom as there was oil everywhere. I agreed to this fix and the next day they reach out to my husband stating that rats had gotten to some wires. We asked for some pictures and later approved to get that fixed as well. About two days later they let us know my cars ready for pick up. Once we picked my car up I knew my car didn't feel the same. My car was noticeably jumpy and a rattling sound could be heard. There is actually another 1 star review here of another Jeep owner that stated the rattling noise too. I don't know why I disregard this but I continue to drive down the road. As soon as I would go over 2,500 RPM my engine light starts flashing. My husband & I immediately take it back to let them know what's going on. As I'm telling one of the workers the issue, my husband takes a look at my car & notices that they hadn't even pressure washed the bottom; a service we paid for. A mechanic comes by, we let them know of the issues as well and he takes it for a drive, drives it to the back of the shop, & never comes back to give us an update. The initial worker I was talking to asked if we could leave the car because the mechanics who had worked on it weren't working that day. We call Monday as the shops closed on Sundays & the phone lines happened to be down. My husband texts the mechanic for an update & he tells us that it has been ready since last week. My husband informs him that we indeed picked it up but had to take it back. The mechanic said he didn't know about the issues and that he would be back on Wednesday. Wednesday comes & we still didn't get an update. My husband texts the mechanic & finds out he's not back to work until Thursday. Thursday comes & the mechanic tells us they supposedly found another wire that was damaged by rats. I was alarmed by this because I think they should have seen this other wire when the first one was detected. The mechanic said that if that wire had touched another wire it may cause some issues. I call him myself at this point to see if there was any way I could get an ETA as I was reaching 2 weeks without a car. The mechanic says there wasn't a way to provide an ETA as they had to take my car apart & put it back together. He did tell me that my car would be put back together by the following morning, but could not guarantee that everything would be fine as they would need to test drive it first. The following morning my husband gets a call about my car and was told that there was a misfire due to the wires touching. The mechanic tells us that we now needed a new ECU (the brain of the car.) He told him he would call us with an update. Hours passed by & we still didn't hear back. My husband calls & we were told that the ECU is out of stock. My husband wanted to make sure of this information so he talks to a parts department at a Jeep dealership. That specific part was definitely out of stock. Not only was it out of stock, it was nowhere in California, backordered, & there was no ETA. This left us without a car. My husband politely asks if there was a way we could get a refund as their service caused more damage to the car. Mind you, all we came for was an oil leak. They refused the refund & states that they fixed what we came for. Although it may or may not be true, (could not tell if the oil leak was actually fixed because we had to take it back right away) as a business owner or manager, I really wish they could have helped out someway. I also wish we didn't have to chase them down for updates. They never updated us for anything unless we reached out. I'm not asking people not to come to this shop as it is your choice. This is just our experience. Just please do your research before you decide to take your car here or any other shop as you could end up not having a functioning car like us. read more

And the pricing was perfect, much cheaper than my other car repair shop that I got to, that is near this one. This is my new place now for oil change. read more

***WARNING*** DO NOT GO HERE! ZERO STARS Before I utter one word of what happened to me, let me introduce myself. I'm Aaron, retired Marine, combat veteran of Iraq and Afghanistan, and Wounded Warrior alumni. I will put my military service record on the line in regards to my truthfulness. I even updated my Yelp photo to help persuade you not to go here. I am exactly who I say I am, unlike these Pimps in mechanic clothes. I'll get right to it. Took my car in for burning to much oil (or at least I thought) and a knock in the engine while shifting. Get a phone call that the engine doesn't need to be replaced. Get a subsequent phone call that the previous tech was mistaken. When I arrive at the shop, the tech I spoke to on the phone no longer works there they said. They confirm that the engine needs to be replaced. They replace the engine. All of the same problems still occur. Take it back in (I'm $4,000 into it at this point) and they say it's a coil. This happens 2 or 3 more times. Take it in for an oil change. I literally catch one of the techs putting the wrong oil in the car. Actually, while the car was on the lift I asked him if he used synthetic oil or not. He says no and that no one told him to use it. Do any of you know what happens when you use the wrong oil? IT FU*KS it up! That car continued to get worse and worse. I'm pretty sure they didn't even replace the engine and that all I needed was new coils. I had to get rid of the car last month because the transmission needed work. Which I told them that's what I thought it was in the first place yet they assured me it wasn't. God how dishonest of them! I wish I had my right mind at the time but I was in the middle of a divorce and very disoriented. They absolutely took advantage of a broken combat veteran down on his luck. I feel dirty and used. They just took advantage of me. It doesn't happen often so I give them credit. I've found this to be the best place to get your oil change done. Not only are they hospitable but they let you know potential things to worry about in your car and will not "scare" you into getting services done. Chansy (master auto technician) is super friendly and nice. His right hand man, Mark, has also been more than accommodating. Actually everyone is. But, Chansy and Mark make their presence known. The oil change for a four cylinder is only $21 and they use high grade oil as well. If you have time, they even help you understand your car too. read more

I called into this place after doing a lot of research on Yelp auto repair shop . I had a service engine light on my car and made a appointment with them, the guy name JP and his crew was very helpful and knowledgeable. He answered all my questions I had doubts, Before they start working on my car he was very straight an upfront with the estimates . It was out of my budget but no matter what I had to get it done . After installing the new parts the car was really smooth and the service engine light was not showing up any more. They give you warranty for the parts as well for the parts they repaired . After a while "Andy" calls me to confirm the job and quoted me a higher price, I told him "MO" quoted me a lower price and he says MO did not say otherwise.
