I browsed around for a bit and found a few things to try on. Both of the staff members I encountered in the fitting room were kind and helpful. I forgot both of their names unfortunately, but one was a petite blonde and the other was an Asian woman with short hair. While none of the items I tried on worked out, the brief interaction with both of them left a good impression. I've had mixed experiences with the staff at this location in the past, so I was pleasantly surprised. I'd suggest stopping by if you're in the mood to shop!

I clearly asked for two separate transactions, with one being a gift that needed a gift receipt, plus an extra boxe and a separate bag. It took a few extra minutes, but these are standard requests at a retail store. Instead of handling it professionally, the cashier made me feel like I was asking for something unreasonable. She acted visibly annoyed and then apologized to the customer behind me for having to wait--as though my request was an inconvenience. The customer ahead of me also took their time, and I waited patiently without any complaint. Somehow, only my transaction was treated like a burden. When a customer spends over $500, they shouldn't be made to feel guilty for asking for basic services the store provides. It wasn't the wait that bothered me--it was the attitude. The cashier made what should have been an enjoyable shopping experience feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. Because of that interaction alone, I'm left with a terrible impression. The rest of the staff were courteous, but this level of customer service from the cashier is unacceptable, and it's enough to make me seriously question whether I'll shop at Anthropologie again. I visited the store with my in-laws, who were staying with us from out of town. We browsed the shop and the associate greeted us, inviting us to let her know if we had any questions. As we went around the store, the associate struck up a friendly conversation with us. When she found out that my in-laws were visiting, she asked my father-in-law if he liked whiskey. He said he did and she pulled out a bottle of whiskey and a crystal glass. She poured him a drink and he loved it. Who goes into a clothing store and gets a free whiskey? Aside from the great customer service, Trader's clothes, accessories and other items are all very well curated. It's obvious that the owner/buyer puts a lot of thought into selecting stylish, unique products. Think high-quality, cabin chic aesthetic. You'll find amazingly soft sweaters, flannel shirts and very very nice coats. There's also a handful of thoughtful gift items, such as woodsy candles and cologne. It's just a fun store to visit. Check it out the next time you're at the City Center.

Saturday evening and the laptop's allure was just too strong to garner any interaction from behind the counter woman. I decided to look around anyway and found some nice Rodd & Gunn apparel which I love. However, sizes and styles were limited and without any help, it was all useless. The store is cool, but too much varied gear and not really focused on items that might be useful in San Ramon. Collection seemed very Fall-like in late Spring. I try to shop local, but when selection is limited and help is non-existent, it's a deal-breaker. 2 star

What brought me back to memory lane was Converse high tops and the Stan Smith tennis shoes. Wow! These were my favorite shoes in the 70s, but at that time, everyone had to have them. We have progressed a lot in regards to quality and comfort, but those aforementioned shoes were functional, made well, and durable. As for the store, this boutique is really unique in that you wish you could buy one of everything. You can't say that about all shoe stores. They carry very nice shoes for the inventory they have. My wife bought a very nice purse. Typical of her buyer remorse mentality, she didn't like the color of the first one she took home. No problem, the friendly staff accepted the return (made easy since she just bought it a few days earlier and had a receipt) and she returned it for the same purse, but in a different color. I think On The Edge will be a great fit for the Bishop Ranch City Center, but you have to make sure you walk upstairs to check out the store.

It was definitely frustrating, but Abraham took my concerns seriously from the beginning. He personally reached out, apologized, offered to restring my racquet free of charge, and even provided a gift card for the inconvenience. What impressed me the most was that he didn't just fix my racquet--he worked to improve the process. When I picked it up today, I noticed they now attach a label showing the string type, tension, date, and stringer. That tells me they're focused on preventing mistakes in the future, not just fixing one complaint. Every business can make mistakes, but not every manager takes ownership the way Abraham did. His professionalism, communication, and commitment to improving the customer experience earned my trust back. Thank you, Abraham, and the Sports Basement team. I'll definitely be back for future stringing and would recommend them to other tennis players.

As well as better quality since it's like a private owned business and not a public one. The service overall was good at this place as the employees were helpful with guiding us to find stuff we were looking for. As well as helping my brother find a new bike for him to ride after his old one fell apart. When it comes to value that is where the problems set in as to why I am giving this place a 4/5. Lot of the stuff in this store is expensive and I do mean EXPENSIVE. It could be close to like 120 dollars for a pair of shoes which seems to be way more than most other retailers. And most of the other equipment could range up to 200-300 dollars as well which can make it frustrating to figure out what to spend your money on depending on the need. At least the store has plenty of equipment to choose from, as well as a range for you test stuff out and other useful features for equipment you want to rent. But I would only go here as a last resort if you can't go to a Dick's or find good pricing.
