It was definitely frustrating, but Abraham took my concerns seriously from the beginning. He personally reached out, apologized, offered to restring my racquet free of charge, and even provided a gift card for the inconvenience. What impressed me the most was that he didn't just fix my racquet--he worked to improve the process. When I picked it up today, I noticed they now attach a label showing the string type, tension, date, and stringer. That tells me they're focused on preventing mistakes in the future, not just fixing one complaint. Every business can make mistakes, but not every manager takes ownership the way Abraham did. His professionalism, communication, and commitment to improving the customer experience earned my trust back. Thank you, Abraham, and the Sports Basement team. I'll definitely be back for future stringing and would recommend them to other tennis players.

As well as better quality since it's like a private owned business and not a public one. The service overall was good at this place as the employees were helpful with guiding us to find stuff we were looking for. As well as helping my brother find a new bike for him to ride after his old one fell apart. When it comes to value that is where the problems set in as to why I am giving this place a 4/5. Lot of the stuff in this store is expensive and I do mean EXPENSIVE. It could be close to like 120 dollars for a pair of shoes which seems to be way more than most other retailers. And most of the other equipment could range up to 200-300 dollars as well which can make it frustrating to figure out what to spend your money on depending on the need. At least the store has plenty of equipment to choose from, as well as a range for you test stuff out and other useful features for equipment you want to rent. But I would only go here as a last resort if you can't go to a Dick's or find good pricing.

Yesterday, I visited the Dublin Big 5 with the intent to buy some ammo for a weekend get together with the boys. When I walked in, I was greeted immediately and then I proceeded to walk over to the firearms section. Haylee was the person who helped me pick out my ammo and I was impressed of her knowledge of the variety of ammo. Anyway, when it came to running my background check, I ended up being rejected. This is the first time that it's ever happened to me so Haylee was kind enough to walk me through that process and gave me the necessary paperwork to get it fixed. With the help of her resources and expertise, I was able to sort it out the next morning (today.) Now that I had the background check situated, I made it back to Big 5 in hopes that I get approved and actually buy ammo. When I arrive, Haylee was already at that counter and was ready to help. She remembered my situation and the ammo that I was interested in which I thought was impressive. When my background cleared, she was very cheerful. With her help, I was able to buy my ammo. Overall, I think that her customer service is the gold standard on how to treat customers. This encounter has made this specific Big 5 my official go-to place for all of my sporting goods needs.

There was no customer service at all…read more I used the kiosk to request a shoe try-on, but after waiting more than 15 minutes, nothing happened and there was no update at all. I eventually had to ask an employee directly to scan it again and bring the shoes out. Honestly, if the kiosk system does not work properly, I do not understand why it is there in the first place. It only made the experience more frustrating and time-consuming for customers. Please either improve the system or remove it altogether.

My wife had been asking me for a Fri fit visor as we couldn't find her other one. I must say I was given exceptional customer service from Hali. When I asked her where something was, she pointed me in that direction, but when I showed her the item on the web, she looked it up and noticed it was in the back, then went and grabbed it for me. She for sure helped me out and made my experience a good one. This Dick's is in same parking lot as Target right off 580 freeway in Dublin off Fallon Road.
