Purvé Donut Stop completely blew me away! Finding a spot was a breeze with their easy parking, and the shop itself is spotless, organized, and super welcoming. If you're a first-timer, don't worry--the setup makes ordering completely stress-free and seamless. What really made the visit special was Brion. He treated me like family from the second I walked through the door, offering the kind of warm, genuine hospitality that's hard to find these days. As for the donuts? Absolutely incredible. Every single one is packed with delicious, perfectly balanced flavors--not a single bite is too sweet or overwhelming, just pure harmony. Pair those warm, fresh donuts with a cup of their great coffee, and you've got the ultimate breakfast upgrade. Purvé literally made my entire morning. If you haven't been yet, go immediately!

Such delicious donuts!! So many flavors to choose from and they have a weekly donut flavor changes every week. The donuts are made fresh as you order them and you can see the process. The employees are always so nice and give my pup a snack when we visit! My favorite is the aloha Mac nut! It's loaded with Mac nuts on top! Yummmm!

There is no better donut shop to visit than PURVE Donut Shop. This visit I got my normal six pack with the "One" free donut that accompanies a six pack. Yup! It's National Donut Day for sure! They were busy... But follow the drill of filling up the order form, pay for your order and wait for it to get delivered to your hungry hands! Be sure to ask for the daily special flavors. Fun Fact(s) Nick & Brion started this bakeshop over 6 years ago; in fact, I think Purve's anniversary is coming around the corner? The fun fact though is Nick and Brion were bartenders and converted their careers to bakers (from bartenders) to settle down, raise a family and you know the rest. Purve hosted a number of Yelp Elite Events and Yelp Unofficial Yelp Events becoming a favorite to quite a few from Japan. Purve now has a location in Kahala although I am partial to their flagship store on Kona Street. The unknown fun fact is "where does that unicorn come from"?
Amazing donuts! Tried these at an event at Ala Moana. The shop evidently had a fan base. The customer in front of me used to live across from this donut shop and could name every donut and describe every flavor to me. These cake donuts are the perfect texture! I tried the "Sunburnt Haole" (Lemon Glaze Blistered with Li Hing Mui) and the "Jimbo" (Cinnamon Sugar Pounded into Caramel Apple Pie). These are exactly the texture you want cake donuts to be! This plus the unique flavor options makes PURVÉ one of my favorite donut spots ever. As of 2024, there are two locations. There's options to order online pickup or delivery. Of note, pricing depends on how many donuts you buy. 1-5 donuts are $3.25 each, 6-11 donuts $3.00 each, and 12 or more donuts are $2.75 each!
Since its opening in 2018, we have been to PURVÉ Donut Stop on Kona Street several times for their creative and sumptuously flavored glazed cake donuts. Oddly, I hadn't written a review for this business back then, so for AAPIHM, I decided to indulge in eating my favorite flavored glazed cake donuts. Admittedly, I'm more of a yeast-raised donut gal, but the cake donuts at this shop have kept my sweet tooth happy. What spurred my sweet tooth was seeing and signing up for the Yelp Elite APIHM Event announcement while I was traveling abroad. I hadn't received event attendance confirmation, but since I had business to take care of at the nearby Ala Moana Center, I first went to satisfy my sugar cravings. It was near lunchtime anyway, and several customers were seated at the community tables, eating donuts and sipping hot beverages. Walking in, both men greeted me as I headed to their counter for an order sheet. At the same time, I inquired if my name was listed as an attendee for the Yelp APIHM Event and found that it wasn't. No problem, I had planned on getting donuts anyway. I like PURVÉ Donut Stops' creative names and delicious flavor combinations for their glazes. Their cake donuts are made-to-order, and their fluffy cake-like texture tastes even better when eaten warm. Thankfully, they have a list of 12 "standard" flavors and one option for a Special Flavor, so I didn't have any decision issues. A single donut will cost you $3.25, but if you order 6 to 11 donuts, the price decreases to $3.00 a piece. A purchase of a dozen donuts further discounts the individual cost to $2.75. The cashier and donut maker, the younger man, was charming in verbally describing the standard glaze flavors and their Special of the Day (Lavender + Sea Salt) as he pointed to the donut samples. After making my selections, I paid for my purchase and waited inside their air-conditioned store while watching the two workers make and decorate the donuts. It didn't take more than 10 minutes from start to finish, and I rushed to Ala Moana Center to meet with my husband (who was also anxiously waiting to eat the donuts and lunch).
Best. Donuts. Ever! Super fresh. Super yummy. Lots of gourmet choices...well worth it if you love donuts and who doesn't love donuts?
This is the OG location. Opened about 6 years ago (before Kahala). They can customise doughnuts and have a few sort of off menu ones. They gave me a "dirty sanchez" and omg that is now my new favourite one. It was so good I forgot to take a picture... Inside is open, and despite having the oil going, it doesn't fill and overpower the store. While I was there, a mom came to pick up doughnuts for what I assumed was a team sport snack. Great idea, actually. Nothing beats a fresh doughnut. It's definitely a great location.
Whenever someone asks me where is my favorite place for donuts... I always say Purvé because they are in my top 3 favorite donut places!! I love how you can watch them make your donuts. It reminds me of Krispy Kreme but way better. Their donuts are made as you order so they're fresh and warm. Hands down my favorite one is still the na-na-nut buster! It's a haupia glazed donut with mac nuts and chocolate banana drizzle. You can taste every bit of flavor equally and it's just so good. If you love haupia, chocolate, bananas, and mac nuts, then you need to try this donut. My mom loves cake donuts so she also loves Purvé and she doesn't eat donuts too often. But she'll eat theirs :) They have a different special donut every week called "Weekly D" so when you visit them, make sure you take advantage of that because if you go back the following week, they'll have a different donut!
Purve donuts are the best. I love that they're cake donuts and not regular donuts. I can totally taste the difference. I usually go to the Waialae location, but it was my first time at this location. I thought that it would be out of the way, but it was fairly easy to find. It's on Kona St. and you go up the ramp of the Iolani building. There's a decent amount of parking once you get up there. My favorite is the Sunburnt Haole. The lemon glaze with li hing powder is so good. The hubby is more basic and went with the Sanchez. It's just tossed in cinnamon and sugar. We also tried the Sanchez with cream cheese glaze. It was so much better with the glaze to me. It made all the difference, but he likes it plain. We also got the butterbeer freeze. I love this. It's delicious. It's similar to the butterbeer at the World of Harry Potter at Universal. It's not quite, but very similar. I could taste the butterscotch, especially with the drizzle on the walls. Get this if you get a chance. The guy helping us was very nice and personable. He answered all of our questions and was a pro at making our donuts. All of their donuts are made to order. There's nothing better than fresh and hot donuts.
Love going here! My favorite is the smores donut. I could eat it every day. The workers are always so nice and Brion is the best! I love the new location although its far for me since i live in Kapolei. That's probably a good thing haha hope they are around for a very long time.

Why did I have to have the best donuts I've ever had in my entire life be a 5.5 hour flight from where I live. Not a donut person, but I would eat these EVERY single day if I had one near me. Thank goodness I don't because of the little amount of self control I have. Must try!!! read more

Nothing better than the smell of freshly made donuts in the morning! On my besties last day here visiting Hawaii, I HAD to get her some donuts to try. Yelp BFF and I hopped in the car and headed to Purve before picking them up. And let me tell you, nothing smells better than freshly made donuts in the morning (sorry, I'm not a coffee drinker). The unicorn butt sneeze, and you're killing me smalls are a must! I also got the pbj donut (I forgot the name lol) and smurf balls. Everything was really good and we had these donuts while munching on an acai bowl simultaneously lol I love soft and fluffy donuts, but these cake donuts are so good! It would be so dangerous working here (I would eat 50 donuts a day lol). I highly recommend you try these super Instagramable donuts! Need a quick treat or and office meeting snack? Look no further than Purve! Their donut selection caters to those with sweet and or salty taste preferences. A great selection of their regular donut flavors with a revolving flavor to peak your interest should you want to try something new. They also create awesome flavors around the holidays like apple pie and pumpkin spice. I would say the donuts aren't as "fluffy" as some other places. But that their rich and somewhat denser inside make for a good base to all the goodies they put on top. A bonus if you eat them fresh because they literally melt in your mouth. The location is easy to miss due to it being on top of a building with the parking having one way in and one way out. But it's worth it! If you are in the area get one or a dozen to share! read more

I finally got to try these colorful looking donuts! Upon arrival, a gentleman kibdly explained how the store works since it was my first time being there. The displays are nice and easy to put images to what you see on the menu in letters (like Japanese food display samples). I chose 4 donuts which were made to order and very fresh! I definitely loved the weekly special Blueberry Cheesecake. Na-na nut buster sounded the best on the menu, but turned out to be our least favorite. Unicorn butt sneeze was okay. The Sanchez was so simple and I really could appreciate the softness of a fresh made donut. I am definitely more fan of simple donuts. I wish they sold more simple donuts like sugar/maple glazed. I am okay with paying $3 for all these fancy donuts. But maybe the Sanchez should be sold at a cheaper price because it is so simple. read more

What makes this fancy-smancy donut shop unique? Asides from their YUMMY yet different yet local-relatable donuts - the owners are AMAZING. If you follow Purvé's Instagram it isnt hard to find the owners pages too, such cool dudes! They remember faces and that makes customers feel special! *At least I feel special, haha* All their donuts are yummy and unique. Something for everyone. Unique flava style! Not your ordinary glazed donut. They always mix it up with one of a kind flavors, I like that. You don't know what they will make month to month. Pricey but hey what is is splurge a little, you only live once! Yolo! Plenty of parking and easy to find. It's in town but who cares, I live west side. I'll drive to wherever if I got a craving for donuts! If you haven't tried their donuts, you don't know what your missing! If your daring for something new in donuts, this is the place. Seeing this place all over social media & we finally got the chance to check this place out. The directions were super easy to find. Its located right above "Ginza" if its still there. PARKING: They have alot of parking up on top. You have to pay for parking but we were literally the only car parked & no line so we just went in & got out. I love when you walk in the have painting on the wall & unicorn tanks, shirts, hats & some accessories. My kids were so drawn to it & wanted everything unicorn. To start off your order they have a small long table that have dry erase menu with real (not fake) donuts in front of you to see how they look. Thats pretty cool. I also love that they clear glass to see that your donuts are freshly made & dipped & sprinkled toppings on top. Holy moly you need to eat them right away. The outside is crispy but also so so moist inside. We went on a sunday maybe 30min before closing, we had to go because our good friend who owns UBAE flavor was the last day & they will change the flavors. I do think the donuts are a bit pricey for the size donuts. Love how the pack the donuts. Will we come back? Most definitely & also tell anyone who havent been there yet to go. read more

My bf found this on Yelp and we were in the area so why not stop by. Good thing we did cause the donuts were yummy and service was very friendly and welcoming! Right when you walk in, there are markers and laminated menus for you to put in your order. Struck up a conversation with whoever was working the register at the time (sorry I forgot your name!!) and told them how much I love the aesthetics of this place and the names and descriptions of all the donuts! We went with 3 of the 13 choices: Na-Na-Nut Buster, Umpa Lumpa Wet Dreamscicle, and Unicorn Butt Sneeze. But!!! After getting our order we were told they added a fourth donut, You're Killing Me Smalls, for us to try :) someone must have read my mind cause that would have been my second choice after the Unicorn Butt Sneeze (had to get this for the fruity pebbles ofc)! They were all good and not overly sweet like some donuts can be, especially with certain glazes and toppings. Will be back next time we visit Hawaii! P.S. I have seen so many pictures of donuts from Purve and thought they were so unique that I had to add this place to my food bucketlist. I finally got the chance to go the other day, and it did not disappoint. They're located in the building right behind the Teapresso on Kapiolani. I almost missed it, but you just go up the ramp and there's a parking lot. Parking is $1/hour, and there's a pay box you can insert dollar bills into. Once you enter the shop, ordering is very easy. They have laminated menus with pictures and descriptions of the different flavors and you just number how many you want of each. They also had every flavor on display so you can see what the donuts look like. When you're done you hand your menu to the cashier, pay and then wait for your order. Their process is very easy and efficient. In addition, they only let a certain amount of people in at a time and seem to be following COVID-19 regulations. My favorite flavors had to be the hulk smash (love the mint taste) and the Na-Na-Nut Buster, which has haupia, macadamia nuts, and chocolate. They do a good job of combining a lot of different flavors into one pastry. I thought it would end up being too sweet, but it wasn't at all. The texture of their donuts are also very similar to cake donuts - they're thick and dense, which I personally prefer. These were definitely some of the best, if not the best, donuts I've had on the island. The price point is also pretty decent, especially considering that you can't really find these flavors and toppings anywhere else. read more

My Husband & I have been ordering from PURVE for about a year and a half and it never disappoints !! WE ARE OBSESSED! We usually order 5 different flavors and cut them up and share them, they are made FRESH to order. This was my first time going into the actual store - it's set up nicely where you can actually see all the different donuts and there's a card where you write how many of each you want, It also explains what is on each one. This donut shop is a MUST TRY, best donuts on the island in my opinion. If you find yourself going to the actual location I recommend you sign up for their rewards program, they offer free donuts, or free drinks! We usually door dash if we can't make the drive for those times we have family visiting & want to treat them to a special treat :) read more

Wow!!! Staff, artwork, one stop, catchy names, freshly made to order, and light tasting cake donuts made a huge impression on me! Kindly asked staff on efficient way to order. Grabbed any available colored marker, indicated quantity below donut name. For their donut special, staff informed me of an acronym to write on order form. Get your monies worth by ordering a dozen or more. One box is able to hold a maximum of 15 cake donuts. I was curious and inquired with two workers what are their best selling donut(s) and to my surprise, Unicorn Butt Sneeze, is rated #1. I did in-ni-mi-ni-my-ni-mo selection as I purchased a dozen for my colleagues and I to share. Waited patiently for a few minutes as workers prepared, made and handled cake donuts with love. One of the staff was very thoughtful to offer napkins, a fork and knife to go. Unicorn Butt Sneeze: Kid-friendly, colorful donut. Can see fruity pebbles move in light lemon taste. Definitely tasty. Ala Wai Tea Bag: Green tea flavor with milk chocolate wafer. Reminiscing about kit kat sitting on top of green tea. Reminded of East meets West. One of my favorites. Umpa Lumpa w/ Dreamsicle: Takes me back to fond childhood memories of indulging in orange cream with vanilla. The Weekly D: Chocolate drizzle, sprinkles of graham crumbs, topped with Reese's peanut butter cereal. BC (Breast Cancer): Special donut honoring breast cancer month. White cream topped with reddish colored rice krispies. I thought I tasted crushed red and pink nerd candies. Hulk Smash: Mint glaze with oreo cookie crumbs. This cake donut earned a nickname "Freshen the Breath." One bite of this sweet edible cleans the palate. One of my colleagues who is not fond of mint actually enjoyed consuming Hulk Smash and thought about buying this flavor for her son after school. Another favorite of mine. Today we took the long way back home from Haleiwa, and stopped into town for some donuts from PURVÉ. We got a half dozen, and here they are ranked: O-Face, Aloha Mac, Hulk Smash, The Jimbo, Umpa Lumpa Wet Dreamsicle and Smurf Balls. I am glad they have laminated order forms so that I didn't have to say these outrageously named (but absolutely delicious) cake donuts. I still have plenty of love for Hulk Smash, but today I was really feeling the lemony goodness of O-Face and the sweet caramel and crunchy Mac nuts in Aloha Mac. I'd never had The Jimbo before and was pleasantly surprised. It reminded me of a crisp fall day with the cinnamon and apple. The Umpa Lumpa Wet Dreamsicle was good too if you're a fan of orange creamsicles. I thought I would enjoy the mixed berry glaze on the Smurf Balls donut, but it just wasn't my favorite. However, with the variety of flavors here at PURVÉ, there's definitely a donut here for everyone. For me, there's at least half a dozen. read more

Nobody talks about this place enough!! We had a food allergy and they made each one fresh and individually in order to avoid the allergen. The service was absolutely amazing. Each donut was made to order after being ordered, so they were fresh and absolutely delicious. The place is a little hidden but still absolutely worth the trip. Everything was so flavorful and the shop was bright and even had donut menus and replicas on display so you could see what was being ordered! Thank yall again for the delicious donuts!! read more

This place is amazing and hands down one of the best donut spots we have ever tried. We got an ube freeze (absolutely delicious) and a smores flavored donut and one of the weekly special donuts. On top of that, the owners kindly threw in a third donut for free. The fact that each donut is made to order (straight out of the fryer!!!) and has delicious customizable toppings all made these donuts heavenly. We definitely will be coming back in the future! Omgggg I think these are the best donuts I've ever had. No joke. And I'm not even a cake donut fan. But wow, when you eat FRESH donuts, it really does make a difference. These donuts are fresh and made to order. You choose what you want on their wipe away menu (see pic!) and hand it over to the cashier. You then see your donuts being made right before your very eyes! And then you see them being so beautifully decorated. Ok so you wanna know about the flavors? Well I am a huge fruity pebbles fan so of course I had to get the Unicorn butt sneeze. Deeeelicious. Lemony frosting and covered in fruity pebbles. And I am also a Cap'n Crunch crunch berries fan so the Smurf balls was another must try. I think I may have liked this one even more than the unicorn butt sneeze!! If you love crunch berries, you're gonna looooove smurf balls. My son enjoyed his You're Killing Me Smalls, a s'mores type donut with a cute teddy graham on top! We also tried the weekly D (donut of the week). My aunty enjoyed her Sanchez donut (simple cinnamon sugar) and we all agreed the Sunburnt Haole could have a littttttle but more li hing mui taste. But that could just be because I love love love li hing mui. Just writing li hing mui that makes my mouth water. Do yourself a favor, head on over and try these delicious fresh donuts. I think this is the first of its kind for me. I'm not a person that eats sugar very often, so I don't get to review places like this. I'm so glad this was the place that gets my "sweet tooth" five star review. As I mentioned I don't do sugar. However it's my husband birthday week and he had a hankering for some donuts, and suggested this place. I ordered delivery with door dash at 6pm. That's a huge plus and a little dangerous to be able to get donuts that late lol but Im so happy we did. I ordered the AlohaMac, the Jimbo and my husbands favorite the unicorn buttsneeze. ( yes you read that correctly!) Lol the donuts are cake donuts but are not very heavy. They are light and the donut itself is a perfect balance of light and filling. The toppings are what makes the donut sweet or not. I like that. Sometimes when the donuts cake is sweet and the toppings are sweet, it's waaay too sweet. The sweetest of the three was the the unicorn buttsneeze. It was very good and the fruity pebbles takes you back to childhood. The AlohaMac was a perfect combo of chocolate, mac nuts and caramel. ( my favorite) The Jimbo, tastes like a light churro with apple toppings, very good. I'm giving them five stars based on my first experience. What a cool place!! Was invited to a last minute 4th of July party and looked for a nearby donut place because who doesn't like donuts?? The ambience is super fun, surrounded by awesome murals done by local artists. Purvé has been open for four years and there is a selection of 13 unique flavours to choose from. Kinson was incredibly friendly and invited us to observe the donut making process and told us about some of the new flavours they plan to introduce, such as a biscuit and gravy savoury flavour (yum). Purvé, the newer kid on the block when it comes to donut making. Stopped by here with a friend to see what all the buzz was about. We were greeted by the friendliest Purvé donut baristas Kinson and Chey. Their friendly and professional demeanor made me think they must be the owners. They were not though they definitely showed how customer service should be handled! They not only explained the process, they described each donut we asked about with enthusiasm and detail. With intentions of getting just a couple of donuts, because of the contagious enthusiasm, we ended up getting one of each for a dozen. And sampling of two persons turned onto sampling by many more. What a fun way of experiencing Purvé donuts. Purvé makes cake donuts only. No raised yeast donuts here. Love it when a business focuses on a limited product and works hard to get that right! The flavors of cake and icing are just as unique as the names of donuts. Really cute. I mean, who doesn't love a "unicorn butt sneeze"?!? Note: weekdays close at 2pm. Pronounced Pur-veh and not Perv...lol.....Anyways, we came here for the first time a few days ago. We Yelped this place and figured, why not give it shot. This place kind of reminds me of Regal donuts, but you can customize your donuts to either your likings or go off of what they currently have. We were new to any of their donuts so we practically got one of each flavor except for maybe 02 of them which kind of sounded gross. We overall that the donuts were ok and pretty rich. After we took a bite of every donut, I felt like I got diabetes. Our favorite one was the "You're Killing Smalls" donut which is a chocolate glazed with graham and toasted marshmallows. They have a donut flavor that changes weekly called the Weekly D. The dozen donuts we bought were about $34 which I thought was really expensive for donuts in general. I could feed my family lunch for that price. But it was a nice experience and I hope for those who love their donuts, come give this place a try. This place is a bit hard to find unless you're driving down this alley and even that, is still hard to see. There's a really skinny "One Way" ramp that you drive up to the 2nd floor and park. There are signs stating that you have to pay by sticking some money in a parking box, but I didn't see anyone enforcing that rule. There are other establishments up on the 2nd floor also. The staff were really friendly and quick and make your donuts when you order them. There's an area that you can watch them in action. They guided us on how to order using their lamented menu and dry-eraser marker. There are some tables and chairs to use and they also sell some shirts and other merchandise. read more

I'm not really a donut enthusiast... so I haven't tried donuts from all the makers here on the island. So with that preface, I will say that I'm a picky donut consumer. If I'm gonna eat all of those calories, it better be good. Fast forward to Purve on Valentine's Day. These were freshly crafted and smelled so damn good. My business partner brought them to the office excitedly and I'm so grateful for her because these were so pretty and picture perfect. All of their donuts are the same... vanilla. The donut body is the same... no chocolate or strawberry flavored donuts. They dress up the vanilla donut to make them different. But lemme tell you about their donut, which I believe is the best part... they have a light crispy crunch on the outside and a nice soft cakey center. When you bite down on them your teeth will be happy just from the experience. It's quite enjoyable. It's hard to just have one bite. It's hard to have just one donut. The toppings/flavorings are saaaaweet! So sugary. They're all different flavors but I couldn't really tell the difference between sugar and sugar. Overall, it's a great donut. I'm not sure on price, as I was the receiver not the giver... but if you're gonna venture to Kona street to get these, money is no option. Enjoy, you'll thank me later read more

I finally get to try PURVE Donut, on National Donut Day and what a perfect time to stop by. I saw on Facebook that Purve was participating in National Donut day,they were giving one free donut, per customer. Thank You Purve!! Not knowing where Purve was located, the Yelp tips were helpful, I was able to find stop. I can imagine how pack it would be and I was right, the lines were super long and thank you to the hardworking staff for handling everything so well. My impression of this shop, so hip, trendy, cool and I just love the decor. The location of Purve is not going to work for me, one way up and one way down, going up the tiny ramp and the parking area, gives me anxiety. I would have to ask my other half to take me back next time. I celebrated National Donut Day with my teen son who loves donut just as much as I do. We got our free donuts and I purchased another two. We each had 2 donuts to try. We both got the June's special which is ube. Purve donuts reminds me of Blue Star donuts from Oregon but the flavors here are so much better, the donut names are so cute, I want to try them all. Purve Donuts are hand crafted, made fresh, made to order with Hawaii influence. Purve Stop hours are from 6-2pm Monday-Thursday and 6-5pm on Friday-Sunday. Donuts starts at $3.25 each and it is cheaper as you purchase more. Aloha Mac, O No Grindz, O Face, Sunburnt Haole, Hulk Smash, The Sanchez, You're Killing Me Smalls, It's Ok, cuz It's your Dog, unicorn butt sneeze, Ala Wai tea bag, umpa lumpa wet dreamcicle, na-na-nut buster are some of the names of donuts. While in line, fill out your order form which is on the counter. Overall, My son and I loved the Ube flavored donuts the most out of the four. My first time having a Ube themed donut. I can't wait to be back again! but WARNING, this place is magical, it made me love donuts even more!! read more

I'm usually in the know about new places but had no idea about this place. Just happened to be looking at Elites top pick and this was #1. Now I know why. Simply delicious! When I got there and saw the samples all lined up I was a little sad as they look like cake donuts, which I don't really care for. A super nice staff came up to me and was explaining the different donuts and how to order. He stated they have a unique recipe and although they look like cake donuts, they are not. They are a little lighter inside and not dense. They are a little pricey at $3 a pop but really good. I ordered 6 different ones. The two I ate so far were super yummy. They were something haole (lemon and lihing" and unicorn dodo (nah forget the name but unicorn something lemon and fruity pebbles). They are up the ramp where the hostess and strip bars are on Kona st. Donuts are made to order so they come to you warm and yummy. Ugh that they are like a block from my gym!!!!!! After a long time licking my screen of their Instagram, I FINALLY made it here. Drive up the ramp to the Iolani Center rooftop & you'll see them once you walk in. We were quickly greeted the friendly gentlemen & were given help on how to order & a quick run down on all the donuts. The whole second half of the menu really doesn't matter if you are just getting single donuts. A good selection of donuts that consistently on the menu along with a special weekly one. This weeks was the Jazzerciser. After much deliberation, we went with the Unicorn Butt Sneeze (I just had to), Hulk Smash, & Aloha Mac. These guys are quick & within minutes they were ready. Warm & freshly made, we were given our box to find 2 more extra surprises of the Ala Wai Tea Bag & the Umpa Lumpa Wet Dreamcicle. With them being warm, of course the frostings were also warm making the donuts a bit messy. They surely know that as you are also handed napkins. Flavors were on point, exactly as described. Can't really pick a favorite as they were all so different. Definitely can't beat donuts made to order. Single donuts are $3.25 each, but the concept & quality here will quickly explain that. They've got something really good going on here. So good, you can't just pick one. I will have to come back to try more. read more

Purve Donut Shop serves some of the best creative donuts I have ever tried. On a recent visit my wife and I ordered the Hulk Smash, O Face, Unicorn Butt Sneeze, and Strawberry Brownie Donuts. All the donuts were freshly made, warm, savory and perfectly cakey. The Hulk Smash was phenomenal with a light mint flavor and dusted oreo. The O Face was nicely lemony. The Unicorn Butt Sneeze had a sweet glaze with crispy fruity pebbles and the Strawberry brownie had a nice flavor similar to nesquik. The sweet flavors were very nostalgic. Overall, Purve Donut shop is a must visit for those with a sweet tooth. read more

After seeing this place on Yelp during the pandemic I finally got a chance to visit this place. To all of the donut lovers, sweet toothers lol spontaneous and adventurous people this spot is just right for you! Masks are required inside and capacity is up to 5 customers. Today , I was greeted with their friendly employees and a very courteous gentleman by the name of Mark helped me out (first timer syndrome). Mark explained to us about the different types of donuts and the "Weekly D" the donut special of the week. The special for 06/20/21-06/026 was a Taki glazed donut (super interesting) so we got it. We filled out our requests on the sheet, we got the Smurf balls, Unicorn Butt sneeze, S'mores and the Takis one. Mark took our order and explained to us that once we place our order we can wait outside and it'll be ready shortly. When our donuts arrived, they were so warm and fresh and I was so in love with the appearance. As I was eating our donuts, Mark came out with an underground flavored donut and it was so delicious. I forgot the name but it was with cinnamon, sugar and condensed milk drizzle. Purvè also offers drinks like water, coffee, and cold brew. Supporting small businesses really means a lot to me so the fact that I had a chance to finally come here meant a lot. Mahalo Purvè staff, especially Mark. Super helpful, friendly and kind. Aloha, I am sorry we do not currently offer Gluten free donuts
Do they make yeast donuts?
Nope. Just cake donuts - but done sooo well. Crispy outside, fluffy inside. By far the best cake donut I've ever had.
Is there a discounted price for larger orders?
No idea. Give them a call about a special advance order. All I know is they've sold out of most everything if I show up late.
Do they take Apple Pay?
Sorry. I'm not sure. But if go to their website you can email them. They're very nice and he should get to you right away.
