Wow! What an incredibly fun night! We had such a great experience at PopStroke…read more We arrived a little after 8:00 p.m. on a Saturday with a group of five adults and one child. The parking lot was packed, which is usually a good sign that you're in for a fun evening. One helpful tip for first-time visitors: when you arrive, the main entrance actually leads into the restaurant, Bar Tenders. If you're there to play mini golf, look to the left of the entrance for the golf check-in counter where you'll purchase your tickets. We were celebrating a friend's birthday, and everyone had a fantastic time. I have to admit, my husband and I were a little skeptical at first. We typically enjoy traditional mini golf courses with themed obstacles, so seeing mostly putting greens made us wonder if we'd enjoy it. We were pleasantly surprised! The courses are beautifully designed, well-landscaped, and much more fun than we expected. The property is well thought out, with TVs throughout the course (perfect for catching the World Cup matches), a central bar, benches scattered around the course, and even hooks for purses at many of the holes, which was such a thoughtful touch. There are two 18-hole courses, one easier and one more challenging. Your admission includes unlimited play on both courses for the day, which makes the price feel like a great value. We paid $30 per adult, with discounted pricing for children. They were also offering a summer special where, for $50, you receive unlimited play through the end of September. They also mentioned offering healthcare discounts, and I believe they may have military and teacher discounts as well, although I can't personally confirm those. Another feature I thought was really convenient was the QR codes located throughout the course. You can scan them to order drinks for delivery right to your location on the course. I'm not sure whether food can also be ordered this way, but it was a nice touch. Even though the venue was busy, it never felt overcrowded. The course kept people spread out well, so there wasn't much waiting between holes. Overall, we truly had a great time. Everyone in our group ended up purchasing the $50 summer pass because we enjoyed ourselves so much. We'll definitely be back again soon!

The "Stroke" in PopStroke Is for the Stroke You'll Have When You See the Price of Mini Golf…read more We recently visited PopStroke Delray Beach with our kids (all under 8), and while the facility is clean and well-run, the value just wasn't there for our family. The course itself is fine -- but pretty basic. It's nicely landscaped and in good shape, but there's nothing especially creative or over-the-top that makes it feel worth the premium pricing. For younger kids, 18 holes was more than enough. Ours only wanted to play one round, and after that they were done. The pricing structure seems geared more toward people who plan to stay for hours -- replaying rounds, hanging out, ordering food and drinks. If you maximize the "all day" aspect, maybe it starts to make sense. But for families with young kids who realistically will only make it through one round? One bright spot: free ice cream for kids on Tuesdays. Overall, it's a nice facility, but unless you're planning to really camp out and get multiple rounds in, the value just isn't there for families with younger children.

There's no intercom system to tell kids to return for cake to a birthday party room, which is stressful for all involved. I don't understand how the video games work; I bought an unlimited pass for the day, and apparently this does not include unlimited games. The video game use went by very very fast. The pass does include unlimited 'attractions.' My kids waited a long time in the gokart line only to be told they were too short to ride. So we skipped that. The bumper cars are an attraction- I think? It only has 6 or 7 cars and the space is very small. The water bumper boats are a similar number, so waits are long, and each boat has a water squirter on it...everyone who exited the round with my kids left soaking wet, including my kids. Glad we did this last. The mini-golf has no employee monitoring of entering or exiting, so I could go in with my kids without participating. It is on the older side, but my kids had fun. There are carved out rocks, waterways, and at one point the course goes under a waterfall. It looks like there are 2 courses to play. My kids enjoyed laser tag. I sat outside in the laser tag waiting room; there are 4 cameras mounted showing the activity within, which I appreciate as a parent. Note to self: have kids wear striped shirts so I can find them on the screens! I'm uncertain if there is an employee inside with the kids, and this is for all ages, in a dark enclosed place. I didn't like that my kids seemed alone in the pre-tag enclosed room, as I would have preferred to supervise them.

I had made a list of things/activities for us to do while she was here and I put Xtreme Action Park on the list. Honestly, I did not think anyone would want to go. But, we woke up one day and decided to just hop over there because it wasn't far from our house. It was around noon on a Wednesday and we almost had the place all to ourselves! When we walked in, we were astonished at how huge this place was! It has indoor go kart racing and I'm not talking the slow, kiddie ones either! These go karts went very fast and it was a very large and curvy track. They also had a huge skating rink, an entire 18 hole, miniature golf room, a huge trampoline room, an obstacle course that hung from the ceiling, virtual reality games and experiences, a ton of standard arcade games as well as a restaurant and bar. (they had so much that I'm probably forgetting something important!) We had the time of our lives! We killed zombies and road motorcycles and battled pirates, laughing, screaming, and yelling the entire time like three little kids. We stopped for a while and went to the bar and ordered nachos and Mojitos. The nachos were delicious (they were actually the best nachos I ever had! ) and they made a special Mojito that was also very good. After we ate and had a couple of drinks, we went back to playing arcade games. Before we got a chance to even do anything else we realized we had been there for five hours! By the time we left, it was getting very busy and we were exhausted but on top of the world. We had so much fun running around that place, each of us addicted to a different arcade game. We left with credits still on our cards so I am going back soon. Regardless of how old you are, put this on your list of things you want to check out because I promise, you won't regret it.

Me and my friend did the VR and the mini golf! We also got lots of arcade credits to play the games. The VR was fun but I didn't like that they didn't clean the goggles (at least I didn't see) after someone playing. That is gross lol. I went and washed my face after. One of the VR rides was broken so I couldn't do it with my friend. The shooting one was a lot more fun than the SpongeBob. The mini golf was cute- it's mini golf lol! We got fries, Red Bull, and blue slush. The prices weren't bad! I was expecting more. Overall fun- kinda loud and busy. But I had a good time. Wish I took photos , next time ;)

It took us a few minutes to figure out our bearings inside because the sales counter is deep inside the business - but once we found where we were supposed to be we were met with friendly staff who helped us out. They offer military and first responder discounts. Our family of four played one round of golf, and it took slightly over an hour. There was one hole that was a challenge - I'd say a 1/4 of our time was spent trying to sink this hole. Every 30 minutes they play a round of trivia for prizes - it was dead when we started so the kids made bank with goofy prizes. The blacklight made all the decor stand out and is just generally fun. I enjoyed reading the play on word characters across the walls. For additional money you can play in their arcade area, enjoy air hockey, or take a chance at the laser maze.

Great fun place for the whole family. For me this was a one time thing as my friend and I just needed to kill some time lol. We had a good laugh and the music made it even more enjoyable. We had planned on going there for games afterward anyway. I didn't play any of the games, but I must say we were VERY impressed with the reception staff, wait staff, and food. They were kind do us and very attentive. There was a lot more on the menu than I had originally thought. I had the Chicken Caesar Wrap with the Jersey fries, and they were both very yummy. The thin-crust pizzas had a great crunch, spicy marinara, good cheese, and a nice char if you like that sort of thing. The kids enjoyed the quesadillas and mozzarella sticks. My husband enjoyed the wings, though he would have liked more sauce. You DO need to pay to park, but that is to be expected in that high-traffic location in Delray. I was surprised it was only $4.75 for two hours. We would definitely return to Silverball if we're in the area and want to grab cocktails and good quality bar food.
