Probably more of a 3.5, but overall leaned 3 for me at the moment. Loved the idea, execution fell flat. Had a 4pm reservation that was pushed to 4:20pm with no explanation. We went to the bar to get a drink and were promptly ignored for 10 minutes while others around us were being served. Went to the other side of the bar and were served immediately. Cocktail was pre-batched, but was still good. We had quite a few technical difficulties with the balls and since we had a dinner reservation at 5:00pm we were too pressed for time to get it sorted out. Half the group ended up not having all holes counted. The course was fairly cramped due to the number of people they had on at one time, but it wasn't terrible. The tables to set drinks down on at every table were nice. The music and atmosphere was fun and lively. The staff on the course were eager to help. The holes and technology were really cool... when they were working. Would definitely come back, but not sure if I would go out of my way to recommend it. read more

Fun putting for sure...but plan on going after 8pm if you don't want to run into kids everywhere. Very cool concept and large bar. The vibe at night is much more fun than during the day with all the natural light. The bright neon lights inside stand out much more. Love the vibes and all the holes are super unique & fun! When we arrived the ladies that we checked in weren't very friendly. We were super confused where to go or what to do. The check in process wasn't as easy as it should have been. We finally found the course we should be at, luckily the guy upstairs working was awesome super friendly and got us our clubs! You have to book times in advance because they book out weeks in advance. The downside if you want to play again and don't book ahead of time you're done after 30 mins. I did book a table for us to have dinner. We did end up eating here the food was just ok. All the bartenders were great though and super quick! Overall it is a fun spot just very busy and kind of disorganized. read more

Went with a group as a teambuilder for work on a Friday afternoon. Had lunch, the food was good. The atmosphere is nice, and the concept is really good. The issue is despite the fact that they give you a "tee time," the spots run behind. I think we had to wait a half hour to play. We waited in a long line, but then when it was our turn there were no golf balls. So, we had to wait another 15 minutes until people started to finish to get new balls. Like, "you had one job, Puttshack." How can you run out of balls? The facility wasn't even busy on a Friday at 2pm Looking at other reviews, long lines and no golf balls is a common theme. The place has a lot of potential but not at the expense of long waits for silly reasons. Have some respect for your customers- either don't overbook or speed up your systems. 3 stars but I won't be back. read more

It was fun but quick for sure. The course is creative and it's nice that it's all electronic but I saw the system glitch 3 times while we were there and we were there for like 20-25 mins. Three stars because it smelled like sewage inside the building really bad and also the bathrooms are way too tiny and they were very dirty and out of paper towels. read more

I was really excited to try this new place. I waited several weeks to ensure they were operating efficiently. Thought enough time had lapse but I was wrong. We also chose to go on a Monday thinking we had a better chance of good service. Unfortunately the wait time was incredibly long. We had reservations at 8pm with the hopes of catching fireworks on the rooftop by 9pm. We had to wait more than 40 mins for our turn at the course. The course beside us was moving at twice the speed. We missed the fireworks which were a surprise part of the date. Highly disappointed. The wait staff was great from a drink standpoint but I am not certain anyone was managing the queuing of the lines for the putting greens. read more

If I could give this place zero stars I would. We got there and waited almost 20 minutes for a drink before playing. The actual putt putt was super backed up (remind you this is a Wednesday @ 4...) we were told there would be someone roaming the course to offer you drinks and we saw no one. There was a group of employees just sitting and laughing on their phones. When we talked to the manager requesting service, we got nothing. We left after 9 holes again without any service. We had a great time at puttshack. We reserved a Putt time ahead of time and i strongly recommend doing this as many people who walked in we're waiting an hour or more. The nine holes was perfect, they had a server to take drink orders while you play which was awesome. Chelsea was our server after we played and she was so kind. Not worth it honestly. Had a ton of problems with my reservation. Tried calling to have it fixed before we arrived. Left several voicemails. No call back. Nothing. I get there and explain the situation and the hostess just goes oh yeah our phone don't work. So your phone don't work, you know that, and you don't change it? Super confusing to me. Only 9 holes. Takes 15 minutes. Then it's all over. Don't get to choose your course. There's literally no where to stand in between holes so you will always be in somebody's way or somebody is in your way. Let me start by saying we have visited the location in Denver and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish AND that location was 10x busier than this location was. We decided to have a "date day" and made reservations for the restaurant and then two rounds of golf after. We showed up at our designated time and after confusion from the hostess, was told to go upstairs. We go upstairs and was met by another hostess and seated. We placed our drink order and waited, and waited, and waited. Placed a food order, still no drinks... Food arrives and drinks follow (it took 25 minutes for one beer and one martini) The food was delicious and the martini was excellent. We order another round of drinks (hard kombucha and a beer) with 2 green tea shots. We waited 20 minutes and finally had to ask who we think was the manager for our drinks. We get the canned drinks and wait another 10 minutes for the green tea shots. So a total of 30 minutes again for drinks. If they were slammed, we would get it, but there was maybe four other tables in the bar area and the bartender was busy talking to the servers and manager. We had a good time on the course, but wish it was easier to purchase other rounds of golf, especially when some courses were pretty much empty . We went on a Wednesday at 2 pm. I didn't think it would be that bad but it was.i has read reviews before coming so I was worried about it being crowded and taking a long time. While it was busy we didn't have to wait too long to play our round. It does go very quick. We had a group of 4 and we played our round in 30 minutes. We had already book the second round so we headed to that right after. Luckily the course we were given we didn't have to wait long again. I can't speak on the food or drinks but someone came right away to ask if we wanted anything so as far as I am concerned the service was on point. Bottom line up front: Top Golf is money better spent. I love the concept. Fun themed holes and your ball is recognized with each hit and there are screens at each hole that keep score for you. But buyer beware - when you make a reservation online (for about $15pp), it is for only 1 of 4 courses and each has 9 holes. So that $15 gets you maybe 20-30 min of play time depending on lines at each hole. We were there on a Sunday afternoon and it was PACKED. Like - I think the Fire Marshall would shut the place down type of packed. Which definitely took away from the experience. The mimosa was good, and they have a fairly well stocked bar. Did not try the food. Not sure if we will be back...seems a little overpriced to fight the crowds and wait in line to play for 2 min. Also - would not really recommend this place for kids under 13. It definitely has a more adult vibe. read more

From the start to finish this was a bad experience. Let's start with the fact that they do not answer the phone. What is the purpose of having a phone number for a business if it's never answered. Upon arrival, I walked up to the first desk and I mentioned my reservation and immediately was told to wait in another area to see my tee time. When my tee time did not appear, I approached the front desk again and was directed to another area and told someone else could find my reservation. My party then waited and was told by a worker that "although they didn't make an exception to being late to a tee time they would make an exception for my group." This place was pretty cool and def fun! But one thing for sure Carlisle, not sure if she's a host or what not, is great! She helped me on the phone with a booking mishap over the weekend and was very very helpful! I accidentally booked for Friday when I needed a booking for Sat. She made sure everything was done without a hitch! The food was ok, but our server was great as well ( i don't remember his name but he's bald with a beard). He's very thorough about explaining the menu. I had no food questions and usually I would lol. Though he forgot to mention when they take your card to put on file this is an incremental hold charge, but hindsight it was a busy sat night. It is noisy as expected so if you're looking for a quiet place for fun, this is not it because you will be loud from laughter! We will def be back!!! Oh and shout out to the manager Leah as well. When my booking got changed it didn't update in their system, she got that squared away quickly. We were set for the ruby course but it didn't show so she changed us to the sapphire course and said to find her next time we're in and we can play whatever course we want next time. My kids and I walked in and I showed them the "oops..our system is down" message and the front door greeter had the audacity to ask me if I had enough money in my bank account. What?? Came here with my family. We did not have a reservation so we told the front desk employee that we would like to eat dinner and then play. She said it wasn't a problem and to come back once we finish our meal. We ate for about an hour and we're ready to start our game. Horrible. I went for my birthday and I arrived 10 minutes before my scheduled time. We were sent to our assigned area and we had to wait 35 minutes to even start the game. Once we finally got up to the front they ran out of balls so we had to wait another 10 minutes. Once we finally started we noticed it was hotter than normal and it was clear the AC wasn't on. Because we had to wait so long and I didn't want to hold up anyone else we pushed through until the end. After I went downstairs and it was noticeably cooler so something was definitely going on with the air conditioning. I attempted to speak with the staff but they were too busy to care and unhelpful. We went there to golf but we're told there was no openings until 11. Understandable, they just opened so we expected it to be busy and we got there right at peak dinner time. TL/DR: really crowded, technology issues, overpriced, unfriendly and unhelpful staff It was an okay experience. Crowd: They must overbook the tee times because there are SO many people there. Once you arrive you have to wait in line at the first hole of your pre-decided course. We waited about 20 minutes. The courses themselves are very cramped and you are constantly having to SQUEEZE by others to move around the course. Some holes backed up and we waited 10+ minutes, just to play a hole. Technology Issues: 3/9 of our holes had technology issues where the attendant had to come reset the hole for it to work. I admit, the technology is pretty cool, but they definitely have some kinks to work out. Expensive: to play a round of 9 the price isn't bad. But the food and drinks are pretty pricey for what they are. Staff: it felt like the staff working there simply did not want to be there. Besides the extremely nice lady that greeted us, everyone else seemed like they didn't want to help or it was an inconvenience to have to do their job. The attendant at the course explained the directions so incredibly fast that my group had to look at other groups to figure out how to play. When the holes wouldn't work right, she huffed and puffed at having to fix them. I really think if they limited the amount of people there, their staff would be less stressed and more pleasant. If there were less people, a more organized method to getting people on and off the course, and friendlier staff the experience would have been much better. You kind of expect to overpay on food and drinks at a place like this, so not much to change there. Probably wouldn't go back and definitely a poorer experience than their competitor The Puttery, which I enjoyed a lot. read more

Came just for the mini golf. Check in was explained, and your time to check in on the board depends how busy it is so expect to wait -at least- 10 more minutes before you can start playing. You are a assigned a course at random so idk how you could play all of them. It is very crowded and not many places to stand while waiting for the next hole. We spent 30 min there and about 3 min of it actually playing mini golf. There are only 9 holes per course. Overall it is overpriced for what you actually do and the glow in the dark courses are so much better. We probably will not be back unless there's a way to not play the same course again. read more

I am so sad to be leaving this place a bad review because I was so excited about it. The courses are fun but the amount of time it takes to complete just 9 holes is not. It took over an hour to complete the first 9 holes due to every group ahead of us having technical difficulties and having to wait at least 5 minutes for a worker to come over and fix it. We were also told a server would come over to take our drink order and while we did see multiple servers, none stopped to take our order. When it was time to move on to the next 9 holes we waited in line for almost 20 minutes but did not make any progress towards checking in for our next course. When we asked about a possible refund (since we did not expect it to take as long as it was) we were told they didn't offer refunds if it was less than 12 hrs in advance. If you plan on going to Puttshack make sure you allow yourself plenty of time to do so because you will be there for quite a while. read more

We came in on a Tuesday afternoon with a group of 4. We opted to eat first, then play after. The check in hostess wasn't very helpful and didn't explaining to us. Just keep in mind that you pretty much make the game reservation on the iPad on site. If you want to eat before you play, then choose "no" for the eating part. If you want to eat after, then select yes. We proceeded to make the reservation at 2 pm and went upstairs to eat first around 1 pm. We let the server know that we had a 2 pm game time, so she expedited the food for us. She ended up forgetting, so we had to remind her at 1:56 pm. She was very nice though. We looked at the tv screen and it said to be at the ruby area. We got there at 1:59 pm and started. The guy gave us our golf balls and let us know that each ball is registered to our name. That's literally all he told us. Once we started playing, one of our players got a penalty, but didn't know. The game guy noticed and was nice enough to let her replay. Just keep in mind that with the balls, you can go in any order. Once we got to our second course, literally at 2:06 pm, another group of players started their game. Now, we literally felt rushed. At one point, they tried to go to the course ahead of us. We also noticed menus on the tables, but wasn't informed that we could order. As we were leaving, I asked the check in hostess about the interval times and she said it's every ten minutes, but people who have time slots can come in 30 minutes before or 30 minutes after and play. That's probably something that should of been told to us when we check in or at least on the iPad so we would be aware. I could only assume that the party that came after us was either late or employees that were playing. Aside from that, it was really fun! I would highly recommend it. Especially knowing everything now, it'll be nice to play the other 3 courses. read more

We took 8 motor coaches and 3 minibusses to the establishment .. We as guides did not go inside but the clients enjoyed their time there !
