Let me start by saying we have visited the location in Denver and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish AND that location was 10x busier than this location was. We decided to have a "date day" and made reservations for the restaurant and then two rounds of golf after. We showed up at our designated time and after confusion from the hostess, was told to go upstairs. We go upstairs and was met by another hostess and seated. We placed our drink order and waited, and waited, and waited. Placed a food order, still no drinks... Food arrives and drinks follow (it took 25 minutes for one beer and one martini) The food was delicious and the martini was excellent. We order another round of drinks (hard kombucha and a beer) with 2 green tea shots. We waited 20 minutes and finally had to ask who we think was the manager for our drinks. We get the canned drinks and wait another 10 minutes for the green tea shots. So a total of 30 minutes again for drinks. If they were slammed, we would get it, but there was maybe four other tables in the bar area and the bartender was busy talking to the servers and manager. We had a good time on the course, but wish it was easier to purchase other rounds of golf, especially when some courses were pretty much empty . We went on a Wednesday at 2 pm. I didn't think it would be that bad but it was.i has read reviews before coming so I was worried about it being crowded and taking a long time. While it was busy we didn't have to wait too long to play our round. It does go very quick. We had a group of 4 and we played our round in 30 minutes. We had already book the second round so we headed to that right after. Luckily the course we were given we didn't have to wait long again. I can't speak on the food or drinks but someone came right away to ask if we wanted anything so as far as I am concerned the service was on point. Bottom line up front: Top Golf is money better spent. I love the concept. Fun themed holes and your ball is recognized with each hit and there are screens at each hole that keep score for you. But buyer beware - when you make a reservation online (for about $15pp), it is for only 1 of 4 courses and each has 9 holes. So that $15 gets you maybe 20-30 min of play time depending on lines at each hole. We were there on a Sunday afternoon and it was PACKED. Like - I think the Fire Marshall would shut the place down type of packed. Which definitely took away from the experience. The mimosa was good, and they have a fairly well stocked bar. Did not try the food. Not sure if we will be back...seems a little overpriced to fight the crowds and wait in line to play for 2 min. Also - would not really recommend this place for kids under 13. From the start to finish this was a bad experience. Let's start with the fact that they do not answer the phone. What is the purpose of having a phone number for a business if it's never answered. Upon arrival, I walked up to the first desk and I mentioned my reservation and immediately was told to wait in another area to see my tee time. When my tee time did not appear, I approached the front desk again and was directed to another area and told someone else could find my reservation. My party then waited and was told by a worker that "although they didn't make an exception to being late to a tee time they would make an exception for my group." This place was pretty cool and def fun! But one thing for sure Carlisle, not sure if she's a host or what not, is great! She helped me on the phone with a booking mishap over the weekend and was very very helpful! I accidentally booked for Friday when I needed a booking for Sat. She made sure everything was done without a hitch! The food was ok, but our server was great as well ( i don't remember his name but he's bald with a beard). He's very thorough about explaining the menu. I had no food questions and usually I would lol. Though he forgot to mention when they take your card to put on file this is an incremental hold charge, but hindsight it was a busy sat night. It is noisy as expected so if you're looking for a quiet place for fun, this is not it because you will be loud from laughter! We will def be back!!! Oh and shout out to the manager Leah as well. When my booking got changed it didn't update in their system, she got that squared away quickly. We were set for the ruby course but it didn't show so she changed us to the sapphire course and said to find her next time we're in and we can play whatever course we want next time. My kids and I walked in and I showed them the "oops..our system is down" message and the front door greeter had the audacity to ask me if I had enough money in my bank account. What?? Came here with my family. We did not have a reservation so we told the front desk employee that we would like to eat dinner and then play. She said it wasn't a problem and to come back once we finish our meal. We ate for about an hour and we're ready to start our game. The same hostess then told us that we would have to make a reservation and wait 1.5 hours to play. We ended up going to glow putt down the street. Very rude staff, would not reccomend. read more

Horrible. I went for my birthday and I arrived 10 minutes before my scheduled time. We were sent to our assigned area and we had to wait 35 minutes to even start the game. Once we finally got up to the front they ran out of balls so we had to wait another 10 minutes. Once we finally started we noticed it was hotter than normal and it was clear the AC wasn't on. Because we had to wait so long and I didn't want to hold up anyone else we pushed through until the end. After I went downstairs and it was noticeably cooler so something was definitely going on with the air conditioning. I attempted to speak with the staff but they were too busy to care and unhelpful. We went there to golf but we're told there was no openings until 11. Understandable, they just opened so we expected it to be busy and we got there right at peak dinner time. We did, however, eat dinner on the second floor and had the pleasure of having ERICA as our server and she was great! She checked on us very often and always had a smile. She was friendly and fast. TL/DR: really crowded, technology issues, overpriced, unfriendly and unhelpful staff It was an okay experience. Crowd: They must overbook the tee times because there are SO many people there. Once you arrive you have to wait in line at the first hole of your pre-decided course. We waited about 20 minutes. The courses themselves are very cramped and you are constantly having to SQUEEZE by others to move around the course. Some holes backed up and we waited 10+ minutes, just to play a hole. Technology Issues: 3/9 of our holes had technology issues where the attendant had to come reset the hole for it to work. I admit, the technology is pretty cool, but they definitely have some kinks to work out. Expensive: to play a round of 9 the price isn't bad. But the food and drinks are pretty pricey for what they are. Staff: it felt like the staff working there simply did not want to be there. Besides the extremely nice lady that greeted us, everyone else seemed like they didn't want to help or it was an inconvenience to have to do their job. The attendant at the course explained the directions so incredibly fast that my group had to look at other groups to figure out how to play. When the holes wouldn't work right, she huffed and puffed at having to fix them. I really think if they limited the amount of people there, their staff would be less stressed and more pleasant. If there were less people, a more organized method to getting people on and off the course, and friendlier staff the experience would have been much better. You kind of expect to overpay on food and drinks at a place like this, so not much to change there. Came just for the mini golf. Check in was explained, and your time to check in on the board depends how busy it is so expect to wait -at least- 10 more minutes before you can start playing. You are a assigned a course at random so idk how you could play all of them. It is very crowded and not many places to stand while waiting for the next hole. We spent 30 min there and about 3 min of it actually playing mini golf. There are only 9 holes per course. Overall it is overpriced for what you actually do and the glow in the dark courses are so much better. We probably will not be back unless there's a way to not play the same course again. read more

I am so sad to be leaving this place a bad review because I was so excited about it. The courses are fun but the amount of time it takes to complete just 9 holes is not. It took over an hour to complete the first 9 holes due to every group ahead of us having technical difficulties and having to wait at least 5 minutes for a worker to come over and fix it. We were also told a server would come over to take our drink order and while we did see multiple servers, none stopped to take our order. When it was time to move on to the next 9 holes we waited in line for almost 20 minutes but did not make any progress towards checking in for our next course. When we asked about a possible refund (since we did not expect it to take as long as it was) we were told they didn't offer refunds if it was less than 12 hrs in advance. If you plan on going to Puttshack make sure you allow yourself plenty of time to do so because you will be there for quite a while. read more

We came in on a Tuesday afternoon with a group of 4. We opted to eat first, then play after. The check in hostess wasn't very helpful and didn't explaining to us. Just keep in mind that you pretty much make the game reservation on the iPad on site. If you want to eat before you play, then choose "no" for the eating part. If you want to eat after, then select yes. We proceeded to make the reservation at 2 pm and went upstairs to eat first around 1 pm. We let the server know that we had a 2 pm game time, so she expedited the food for us. She ended up forgetting, so we had to remind her at 1:56 pm. She was very nice though. We looked at the tv screen and it said to be at the ruby area. We got there at 1:59 pm and started. The guy gave us our golf balls and let us know that each ball is registered to our name. That's literally all he told us. Once we started playing, one of our players got a penalty, but didn't know. The game guy noticed and was nice enough to let her replay. Just keep in mind that with the balls, you can go in any order. Once we got to our second course, literally at 2:06 pm, another group of players started their game. Now, we literally felt rushed. At one point, they tried to go to the course ahead of us. We also noticed menus on the tables, but wasn't informed that we could order. As we were leaving, I asked the check in hostess about the interval times and she said it's every ten minutes, but people who have time slots can come in 30 minutes before or 30 minutes after and play. That's probably something that should of been told to us when we check in or at least on the iPad so we would be aware. I could only assume that the party that came after us was either late or employees that were playing. Aside from that, it was really fun! I would highly recommend it. Especially knowing everything now, it'll be nice to play the other 3 courses. read more

Honestly this place was very disappointing, frustrating, and underwhelming for our first time in. First, the course is very small. This place is more like a bar/restaurant with a golfing arcade section (9 holes) to finish the night. We were in and out in 45 minutes for $14/person when there are tons of mini golf places in town charging $10/person with 18 holes plus $5 replays all day long (not just before 4pm) AND they're neon 3D! Secondly, the staff talked like they were robots (unless they were talking with each other of course). The girl explaining the game to us couldn't even keep her lines together cause she was word vomiting too fast. By the time she was done speaking we completely forgot everything she said cause of how many times she stumbled over herself. Witnessed the same thing with another girl who was helping a guest check in when we first walked in. This time the guy just walked away from her mid-sentence cause she was being so deadpan in her delivery and clearly not actually trying to help anyone. Probably not the best person to be greeting guests when they first walk in. She then laughed it off before doing the same thing to us. (While on the topic, why does the front desk need 6 associates looking at a tablet when there are clearly people wondering around lost?) We got 4 holes into our game before my friends ball disconnected and we had to wait for a technician to come help. He then listed off some technical terms like we're suppose to know what he was talking about before walking away. Eventually my friend got another ball and by this point all the parties were on top of each other. Then 2 holes later the party in front of us had a ball disconnect as well (this problem alone added 10 minutes to our total 40 minute playtime). Pen and paper would've sufficed over the bells and whistles of a "high tech" golf game that's half functional. This place obviously cares more about how it can marketing itself online than it does actually ensuring guests have a good time (or at least a pleasant one). I drove 45 minutes here with a friend for his birthday today because I wanted to surprise him with a new course we haven't played before. I honestly wish we just stuck to our old spots and had a nice dinner. 1 star because that's the minimum, +1 star because the jolly rancher shot we had at the bar was tasty. A pro tip: Get a rule sign explaining the check in process and game rules. You'll save a lot of money on what you're paying all these people for who clearly don't want to be there anyways. Highlight of our night was ZINBURGER up the street after deciding not to stick around for food. Friendly, attentive staff from the moment we walked in, delicious food, quick service and the hostess immediately cleared a table for us when my friend requested a booth. I'm currently snacking on my crispy buffalo chicken leftovers while writing this. 5/5 would recommend. Very unorganized. Manager was extremely smug and rude. when we tried to add a disabled girl to our reservation of nine he'd said absolutely not he did not have one $150 dollar ball to spare. When we threaten to leave, he said I don't care I have a full house. He challenged us to leave him a bad review because business was so good. Staff to seem to be extremely overwhelmed, Empty alcohol glasses were stacked at every station. No one was asking for orders to be taken. Extremely expensive extremely unorganized. Rude staff. The balls were extremely dirty, and had never been cleaned. Definitely a cool concept. It is really fast, only 30 minutes for the 9 holes, so wish you could play longer. Very busy, and DEFINITELY recommend reservations. Such a fun experience! The staff were all really welcoming and nice. The courses are small and quick so definitely make sure to book more than one if you are wanting to be out for a while. I do want to go back to try the food and drinks because the menu looked intriguing. Understandable when busy - but why not text the customer to say "FYI your time has been moved back"? You get a tee time text reminder anyway 15 mins before. Then sat at a seat at the crowded bar for 20 mins without any service or nod from the bartender. Couldn't get a drink after 20 mins of waiting. Finally got up and stood in the crowded hallway waiting. All EMPTY tables have a reserved sign on them. On our course, waited 10 mins between holes. CROWDED and unorganized. read more

The bar is bigger than the actual mini golf courses. Sad. We decided to go to the bar to grab a quick drink before going somewhere else and it costs us $38 for 2 shots of Casamigos ..... CAP !!!!! Oh ... if you make a reservation you have to cancel 12 hours in advance or something like that. The check in person didn't know. My son had reservations at puttshack yesterday. We went there and my son, his girlfriend and my wife played golf. I went over to hostess to get booth, have a beer and wait while they played. Hostess told me I could not sit and wait at a booth, I was directed to small table near edge of the restaurant. I didn't like it but sat down. Keeping track of time, I waited for 21 minutes before anyone asked if I wanted anything. I was pissed after waiting so long and did not get anything. Sitting there for over an hour I spent my time watching the customers come in and most, dozens, walked around with a confused look on their faces. I also watched as an equal number of staff walked right past these obviously confused customers and not one would take the time to help them. The family got done and asked about staying for lunch, I said Hell No, going to spend my money some place else and we left. Somebody needs to tell the staff without customers they don't have a job. read more
