One of the worst serviced restaurants I have ever been to. Brought most of our orders out wrong multiple times. This is a neat place. There two places to play putt putt on both side of this place that I saw. The center of the place is where the bar located in the main floor. This place has a wide variety of alcohol and food. I recommend getting the sliders, it is good. The pizza slide for some reason taste slight sweet to me. The putt putt area can get busy. It is cool that the ball has the sensor and can keep track of your score. I played putt putt on one side and it take about an hour to finish due to it being busy. I've been wanting to come here since it opened! Everyone lives a good putt putt game and add a perfect location, great drinks, fun atmosphere and awesome staff- that's called a good time! We made reservations prior to getting there and I highly recommend it. The directions to get signed up and where to go were fairly simple. Once we got checked in you were assigned to a certain course. I love that idea so you can come back time and again and experience different courses. This is a great concept but the holes, at least on the amber course, involve almost no skill whatsoever. For instance, in the half-pipe hole, if you hit in in the hazard, it's an easy putt for 2 and if you manage to avoid it you probably end up behind a wall and with a 3 at minimum. Also, the scoring makes no sense. I win every single hole, had two holes in one, and only won by 20 points. These may seem like minor issues if you are just going to mess around but it's disappointing that this experience is so expensive and yet so unsatisfying as far as a mini golf experience goes. Another frustrating part of my visit was that when we arrived we said we wanted to eat and play and they said we'll pick whatever you want first. So we played first only to learn upon completion that the kitchen "closed two minutes ago." They should have told us that when we walked in. Disappointed to say the least, and very frustrated and hungry! This is an amazing concept but the golf was disappointing and the service, at least when I was there, was embarrassingly bad. Unforgivable given the price. I might try it again just because I want it to be fun so bad! read more

Gone are the paper score cards , stubby pencils , and lackluster concessions we grew up with. Puttshack's golf balls are programmed to keep score! Beware they ask for your card/payment up front, like you are running a tab at the bar. I was kinda offended by this but I get it, they've had some trouble with people running off after their Tee time was called. Honestly, I checked a couple tables and this was done at other tables as well. Okay, after that ordeal the atmosphere was great. Fun, bright, awesome energy, great service, drinks and food! It's almost like you're not in St. Louis since we are STARVING for different things! It definitely hits the mark. You can make reservations online for golf. From Chicago, first time at Puttshack. Located inside the Foundry, this is a very cool place--and a really good restaurant! The music is on the louder side, but I really enjoyed it. Not the place for a quiet date. It has a younger vibe, mostly 20 something's playing mini golf. We ordered two appetizers... The Korean BBQ Bao Buns with jackfruit. I would give this (0/5), looked like beef brisket, but tasted like gravy train... The Thai fried chicken (5/5) was fire! Had a nice kick to it and the sesame peanut sauce was outstanding! I ordered the flatbread pepperoni buzz (5/5)! I wasn't 100% sold on the idea of honey on my flatbread pizza, but now I am. Hot Atlanta Fried Chicken sandwich with garlic fries was so good! Chicken was juicy with crunchy pickles and saucy. Definitely a juicy sandwich and not overly spicy, just a little kick. The garlic fries were also delicious! Definitely recommend!! Husband got "The Hill" flat bread. Also delicious with little toasted ravioli on each bite. Awesome addition to STL. Attached to the city foundry and open late! Putting is reservation only- so be sure to get a reservation, I believe it charges you in advance per person as well. The inside is super fun with lots of lights and an almost vegas-like theme (inside an old factory). Large bar for drinks before or after your round. They have a kitchen as well with an extensive menu- lots of tables if you wanted to just come here for food and drinks- you don't necessarily have to put. I was definitely surprised at how small the putting section was- it certainly didn't seem like the focus of the venue. Great music and DJ and fantastic drinks- I recommend the porn star drink. Menu for food and drinks are very creative and prices aren't bad. Service was great when we came and this place was jam packed. Highly recommend! read more

I love this place! I will definitely be back. It's kind of hard to find, there aren't a lot of big signs yet. I know it just opened. But it's at the opposite end of the Foundry from the new Alamo movie theater. You can access it from outside in the strip area or from inside the food hall in the main part of the foundry. However, follow your Apple Maps and it should get you there. There are two different/unique courses inside. You pay to only play on one. However, I assume you can make a reservation for both. It's very busy so I recommend making a reservation to play. Even on a Tuesday night when we went. It was really fun! You can bring your drinks with you while you play and the course itself takes about 30 to 45 minutes to complete depending on how fast you go. You don't have to go in order (I.e. holes 1-9. You can skip around). I was also crazy impressed with the food! I honestly didn't expect much from a place like this, but everything was super delicious. And the drinks were amazing as well. I had a "Perfect 10 old-fashioned", and the "porn star martini" from their cocktail menu. Both were very strong and really good. I definitely recommend the porn star martini as it "smokes" haha. Very Instagram-worthy. Now, for the food, I tried "The Hill" flatbread, and it was so so good. It has toasted raviolis on it! But everything fit together really well. And then the putt shack poutine... Probably the best poutine I've ever had! The added goat cheese was absolutely perfect. Mouth watering. My friends split the chorizo and cheese empanadas, and the Korean BBQ Bao Buns. They really liked them as well, however, I didn't try them. I do have pictures though! Definitely check this place out. The golf courses had several that you could be placed at which is good so if you came here often you have choices. The nine holes Took us about 30 minutes to go through and I believe it was $15 per person. A little bit pricey for what it was. We had a hard time finding it at the foundry. This was my first and last visit to PuttShack, and it's safe to say I will never be returning. The service was absolutely dreadful--without a doubt, some of the worst I've ever experienced. We arrived 20 minutes early for our reserved tee time, only to be met with a complete lack of communication about how the experience would unfold. We couldn't order food when we wanted, and even drinks took forever to be explained how to order. While the mini-golf itself was fun, that's about the only positive I can take away from this visit. After our game, we wanted to order appetizers, so we asked for menus at the front counter. We were told to wait, and then waited another 20 minutes before asking twice for service. Finally, a server arrived, took our order, and then vanished--never to be seen again until she dropped off the check. If you're looking for any kind of hospitality, steer clear. The lack of attention, poor communication, and total disregard for customer satisfaction makes PuttShack a place I would never recommend to anyone. This was so much fun!! It was expensive and pretty crowded on a Friday night but we still enjoyed the vibes of this place. When you get there you check in with the host and if your group hasn't linked with your party you'll do that at the kiosk. When your party is called you'll be given a course assignment. All of the courses have the same themed holes they just in different spots around the venue. I enjoyed grabbing a drink then starting our game since you can drink on the course. After hours it turns to 21+ but they didn't seem to be heavily enforcing that rule when we arrived. We came on a date night but since the courses were pretty short the crowds and some kids really didn't bother us. Food at the restaurant part was ok! Hummus was good & drinks were fine. Pleasantly suprised I am not a sports fan in any way. This was the choice activity of a very dear friend for a retirement. Reservation required paying in one tab. This is just a personal pet peeve of mine. Understand needing a card number to charge in case I form show up but would prefer the option of separate checks always. They have mocktails for my dry january or alcohol-free friends... they have octopus that is immaculate... and literally everything in between. I mean where can you get a pizza with toasted ravs or red hot riplet spring rolls?!?! STOP PLAYING WITH ME The food was all super good. The cocktails were bomb (minus the expresso so skip that), service was AMAZING.. and the mini golf experience is beyond dope. Each ball has a chip so anyone can go at anytime in your group and it keeps score electronically. $14 per game per person and kid friendly til 8p on weekends (Carding starts around 7:30p). Plus, a live DJ and last night it was a Black female DJ who was JAMMIN My Reccs: Make a reservation for golf and eat before. You can play golf if you want with no reservation as long as it's not at capacity but to guarantee you play, make a reservation online. This spot is really cool - and super convenient for those of us that live in the city. They have 3 putt putt courses, and all look pretty cool. You are at the mercy of other people, it gets pretty backlogged at times and then you have a bunch of strangers watching and waiting which is meh. That can happen other places too but it seemed extra bad here. It was also pretty expensive for putt putt. The automated system is super cool though. We got a couple drinks too and were actually very impressed by the quality of the bar, it's definitely a nice cocktail bar and the drinks were fantastic. We'll probably be back to try another course since it's so convenient. read more

Puttshack exceeded my expectations! I wasn't sure what to expect but it was great. The check in is process wasn't horrible, they make it pretty easy to get checked in with everyone. I recommend you put your name down in advance before you head in so that the process doesn't take as long for you to wait. Before you putt, grab a drink at their bar. Puttshack is such a cool upgrade on traditional mini golf. Everything is high tech, from the courses to the scoring - which the balls keep for you. You don't even need to worry about playing holes or each player in order, because each hole recognizes your unique ball and player. I came with a larger group as part of a company happy hour/activity. The menu items set up for us (meatball sliders, bang bang shrimp, flatbread, etc) were all unique and delicious. They were also adorable served! I would definitely come back next time I'm in St. Louis and am wishing for a Puttshack location at home! read more

We made online reservations for our putt putt time and our table since we wanted to eat first and we did not need to wait at all. Super easy check-in process. For puttshack, the food was fine. The vibe is awesome. Love that they turned an old industrial factory into an indoor mini golf attraction. The bar is huge too! They were out of the crab dip, bummer! So we went with the pork bao and pot stickers. Delicious. I had The O.G burger with fries - pretty good. The fries were perfectly seasoned. My husband had The Pit Master flatbread. I'm not a big fan of gouda but the bbq drizzle helped, at least for me. The hubs loved it. You can actually start your mini golf session even if it's not your reserved time so that was cool. Have you ever been on a Carnival Lines cruise? I went on my first one earlier this year and being at Puttshack felt like I was back on that crazy party ship. Very flashy, very loud, pretty exciting, and designed to basically force you to have fun or to believe you're having fun! I probably would have had more fun if I were drunk but we only went there for the golf, did not imbibe or have any of the food. I read the cocktail menu the night before and there were interesting options, and the cocktails I saw looked a bit small for the prices. Don't hold me to that, though, as I said we did not actually buy any. We went on a Saturday afternoon and there were big parties and small groups and children and just a lot of people. There were lines and waiting (even with our reservation for tee time), but that wasn't too big of a deal. We played the Emerald course (9 holes) and it was fun. If you want a party scene, putt putt, and have a bit of extra cash to spend I'd recommend this place! read more

Puttshack is a fun and interesting spot in St Louis. They have a wide range of food and cocktails plus two interesting mini golf courses - the Amber and green courses. We made a reservation online for a table and for mini golf after food. They were pretty flexible with the timing for the mini golf so if you don't want to wait in line for the min golf, you can watch the lines and then check in to play. For the food, we tried the chorizo & cheese empanadas,Korean BBQ Bao buns and the Pitmaster. All the food was delicious. I highly recommend the Korean BBQ buns. For the cocktails, we tried a few different ones - smokin painkiller, cold brew espresso martini, the spirit of St Louis and the Hennessy island. All the drinks were well made. The smokin painkiller was smoked and then placed in a chest. If you like smoky drinks, this is definitely one to try. For the dessert, we tried the Skrewball cookie skillet. It's definitely a great shareable dessert. It came with the Skrewball peanut butter whiskey ice cream with salted caramel sauce which was delicious! The mini gold course itself was fun and entertaining. We tried the Amber course. The lines moved pretty quickly and each hole had interesting twists to it. It was a fairly short 9 course play but it kept everyone engaged. Looking forward to being back to try the Green course. It's a good time, but be prepared to spend a lot. $56+ for 2 people for 9 holes that's supposed to take about 30 minutes but it was more like 20 minutes even with a couple groups in front of us. That said, it's a fun improvement to old school putt putt. Since it was over so quickly, we ate dinner here as well. Average price was about $18 per plate. Festive dining area, great service. The amount of heat in the Atlanta fried chicken sandwich was just enough to make it really enjoyable, particularly with the cabbage and spicy aioli. Definitely ask for a side of aioli to dip the fries in. My husband said the Cali chicken sandwich was good also. Good Yuengling on draft. Overall we spent about $120. Wouldn't have been as bad if all 18 holes were $56 for 2 people; sadly it's not. So, unlike old school putt putt, this outing isn't an affordable date night in my opinion. They have two mini golf courses - amber and emerald on either sides of the venue and a bar and some tables between them . We played the emerald and then the amber and took us approximately 30 mins per course . I booked the courses 10 days in advance and I think you can book upto 2 weeks before hand . We checked in at the touchscreens on arrivals and were assigned courses. The mini gold experience itself was really fun and came with 9 holes . You can play the holes in any order except the 9th one , save that for the last ! On check in at each course you get an assigned ball which tracks progress and number of swings etc . Each hole is great and comes with quickly little themes - trivia , drum roll , obstacles etc . We had the best time . Only caveat was that you play with groups and sometimes larger groups ahead of you can cause long wait times which can be annoying , especially if you have a deadline . We didn't try the food / drinks but the menu looked super good . We will be back for that . But we had a fun little date night and it was a great experience . read more

I'm a self proclaimed margarita connoisseur and loved the house margarita but they had a specialty option with a popsicle inside! Definitely need that next time! Overall I would recommend and will return. The check in process is unnecessarily lengthy, especially when bringing a group of kids without phone numbers or emails. The Good: At first glance, the Puttshack is visually exciting. The atmosphere is full of energy with bright lights, music, and lots of people surrounding you. It's a great venue for large groups, but be sure to place reservations as everything gets booked QUICK- especially on weekends. The food was surprisingly good! I was a bit skeptical when I saw Wood Fired Thai Octopus on the menu, but we ordered the dish and was blown away at just how tender it was. For those who aren't aware, octopus can be challenging to cook right. Often times, it's overcooked which makes the flesh tough and rubbery. We also ordered a couple of handheld sandwiches- the Tuscan Pork Porchetta and the Atlanta Hot (with Chicken). Portion sizes were large enough for two or one super hungry individual. My Atlanta Hot Chicken sandwich wasn't as spicy as I had hoped. It was on the mild side. The chicken itself was fried beautifully with a nice crunchy outer layer and incredibly juicy inside. I just wish there was more flavor to the chicken itself. Their regular fries are great, but to elevate it be sure to get the garlic fries. I also loved the fact that they offer mocktails for those who don't drink alcohol. I'd also like to add that our server, Sabrina, was phenomenal. We appreciated her attentiveness and overall hospitality. Games are relatively fast paced. For a party of two, we got through 1 round comfortably in 30 mins. The different holes are well illuminated with clear instructions on how to play and score. Drinks are allowed in the gaming area, but beware as the space can get too crowded and there aren't a lot of tables where you can put down your drink. Reservation kiosks are a super plus as it can help keep guests from waiting in long lines and they can easily check to see if there are open slots to play. The Bad: There are definitely some quirks within their reservation system that needs to be taken a look at. We had made some modifications to the play date of our original reservation. We actually got sent reminders that our tee time was coming up based on the original date set and not to the modified date. I also wasn't aware that there were different courses (currently 2- Emerald and Amber, they're adding 2 more upstairs soon- Ruby and Sapphire) you could sign up for. I don't recall seeing an option to select courses, however the option was available in the kiosk. I signed up for the Putt Perks and since it was my birthday month, I received an email for a free game. However, there was no promo code or QR code to scan so I couldn't make those reservations online. Even at the kiosk, there was no way for me to enter the gift, so we had to call on management to get that squared away. The Ugly: If my tee time is 11am, I want to start at 11am, not wait 10-15mins because a bunch of other people in other groups were also scheduled at the same time. I didn't enjoy having to navigate around larger groups and even though you're allowed (and encouraged) to skip around to the different holes (remembering to play the 9th hole last), I often felt we were waiting around for the group in front of us, or rushing for the group behind us. Checked out Puttshack in the Foundry on Christmas weekend. It was way more busy than I predicted! That said, it wasn't a long wait at all to get started with the game. Staff was helpful and explained the process clearly. The game was a lot of fun with a group. The course was interesting and unique. With a group of 6, it took the perfect amount of time to get through it. It would probably feel too fast with only 1 or 2 people. It was fun to have music playing, but the music was way too loud. We had to yell a bit to hear each other. Lots pretty lights. May not be the place for someone who gets easily over stimulated. A fun, hip atmosphere though. Drinks and food are very expensive.
