Pym's Test Kitchen is usually my go-to for a quick bite and drink in DCA. It did started going downhill recently (2026) compared to 2022-2023. This is the perfect spot for a quick breakfast & lunch in DCA. They're located in Avengers Campus. Pym's Test Lab is the bar with fun alcoholic cocktails. Just like any other quick service, it can get extremely busy so mobile ordering ahead will be helpful. They only offer outdoor seating; no indoor seating. Finding an open seat can be a challenge on peak days. Cast members are quick & efficient, and they're on top of assisting with emptying trays. They offer American dishes that are Ant-Man themed, hence its name. The Calculated Breakfast is my favorite dish before starting the day. The Quantum Pretzel is my favorite thing to share. The Not-so-little Chicken Sandwich is my favorite dish bc the chicken is crispy & seasoned well. They offer seasonal dishes that can be a hit or miss. Skip the Spinach and Artichoke Grilled Cheese. Their seasonal cold brews are sweet. The alcohol at Pym's Test Lab is strong & sweet! I noticed portion sizes have gotten smaller with increased prices. I hate how greedy they've gotten. Smh. The food and drinks do the job. It's quick & efficient.
I came super hungry, so I thought everything tasted amazing. My favorite was the Humongous Taco Salad. Loved everything in it, so every bite was tasty and delicious. The Philly Cheesesteak Grilled Cheese was a little too rich and heavy for me. The tots had good seasoning to them though. My favorite cold brew at Disneyland/California Adventure is the Cookies and Cream Cold Brew. 10/10! The Cold Brew Black Caf at Galaxy's Edge was previously my top choice. This was my first time trying Pym Kitchen. The interior decor is so cute. I especially like the oversized pretzels and humongous ketchup and mustard at the utensils station.
Humongous taco salad and philly steak sandwich. Refillable coke zero! Would eat here again nice large outdoir covered patio employees are super nice here! I liked the condiment has ranch dressing! Taco salad was good but chicken could be a bit better...philly sandwich was silly with some funny chips on top loved the crunchy tater tots! Took pics of other food that would appeal to your kids! See beautiful tulip tree love summer time!
We've had lunch here multiple times and have always liked our meals, and decided to try breakfast here today. It's odd to me how few food spots serve breakfast (or even open before 10:30am) yet the parks are open so early. My husband had the chilequiles and said it the portion was good for the price, but the chips were a little soggy. The latter part was odd because we waited 5-10 for the food after it was preceded, so I thought we were getting a fresh batch. He paired it with a beermosa, which is what it sounds like. It's served in a plastic cup you can keep if you want to (a measuring cup with a spout, basically). I wasn't a fan of the drink - beer and OJ? Gross, lol. I had the egg/bacon/tots meal and liked everything. It came with this weird mini toast, which just tasted like white bread, yet the red circles in it were slightly sweet. My only critique is that the eggs are served on top of a piece of paper, so you'll want to eat those first or I suspect you'll get paper bits in your bites. With AP discount, everything was $39 after tax, which we thought was a great deal for a meal at the parks with decent portions.
I visited Pym Test Kitchen during LNY celebration at DCA mainly for their Spicy Pork Belly Grilled Cheese. It was my first time and this science lab theme restaurant really impressed me with their ambiance and decoration, love the Marvel and Ant-Man theme so much. I don't see any indoor seating but they do have a spacious patio with tables and chairs. The portion here is enormous, supersized food likes the pretzel or not so little chicken sandwich that is definitely sharable. The line was not so long but I did waited for a good 20 minutes before placing my order with the cast member - who was friendly and efficient but was only by herself at the moment. So, totally recommend place your order ahead of time through the app. Waiting time in line was quite long but my order was ready under 10 minutes, I got Spicy Pork Belly Grilled Cheese with Tator Tots and Proton Potation (Vodka, Lemonade and Grenadine with Cherry-flavored Popping Spheres) for drink. The grilled cheese was pretty good in flavor, it was savory and spicy, loaded with pork belly, but really really oily, I gave up after 2 bites. Meanwhile, the Tator Tots have a really nice crunchy texture to it, very crispy and tasty, I really like it. The Proton Potation was just okay, I personally doesn't feel there is a lot of alcohol in it but the cherry popping boba's taste was artificial. Should have asked for the straw or spoon because I ended up wasting 80% of the popping boba after I finished the drink. Overall, I really like the concept but my experience at Pym Test Kitchen for LNY special food item was just okay. It still a pretty cool spot to check it out and taste test their yummy Tator Tots!
We got the chicken sandwich and it was delicious! Definitely smaller than some of the photos we've seen online. Wonderfully seasoned and crispy, and the tater tots were delicious! There was a bit of a wait though so be prepared for that and to share tables with other groups on busy times
We stopped at Pym Test Kitchen for breakfast while visiting Disney California Adventure. We tried the chilaquiles and the Calculated Breakfast. The chilaquiles were just okay. The chips were a bit soggy, which took away from the dish, although I did expect it wouldn't be super authentic. The eggs were good, and the pickled onions on top were actually really tasty and added nice flavor. The bacon was very thin and a little greasy. The Calculated Breakfast was good and we enjoyed it, but it wasn't anything overly exciting. Overall though, the service was nice and the ambiance is always fun and themed really well. We still love visiting California Adventure, and Pym Test Kitchen is a convenient and interesting place to stop while exploring the park.
Food: 3/5 Service: 3/5 Ambiance: 3/5 Portion to Price: 3/5 Overall: Pretty standard fare. The extended review... Food: Pork Belly Grilled Cheese : 3/5 - So this was a Lunar New Year special. I felt like the ratio of cheese to meat was off. It was more meat so the grill cheese feel wasn't there. I should be happy that I'm getting more meat for once but I wasn't cause it felt more like a meat sandwich as opposed to a grilled cheese. Service: 3/5 - Standard service. Mobile ordered! Ambiance: 3/5 - Good outdoor seating area. Portion to Price: 3/5 - Pricing was standard fair for park food.
Watched a show at the patio!! Yay. So awesome. The Korean spicy pork grill cheese sandwich is yummy but a bit salty. It rained and Disneyland is less crowded. But 1/4 of the patio is wet. Space is not usable. Luckily we found a table which is impossible when it usually doesn't rain. Staff wiped the water off the tables mostly but still wet. Get some paper towels yourself.
Not a healthy option for eating in California Adventure or at least the food we ordered weren't healthy. Had the Quantum Pretzel, obviously lots of carbs but there was also lots of salts so we were thirsty all day at the park. For the size of the pretzel, the Sharp Cheddar Cheese-Beer Sauce was not enough. Need to fill the cheese to the rim of the cup, it was not even half filled. Tried the Spicy Pork Belly Grilled Cheese since it is for a limited time celebrating Lunar New Year. It was delicious but it was also extra greasy to the touch. Surprisingly, Pym still has tots, those were good. The line was long on a Saturday afternoon. It started at the door and took a little over 30 minutes to arrive at the cashier. Seatings are outside and there are a lot of spaces, but it was full. Took awhile to find a spot. Get someone to hunt for a spot and save it while another person wait in line to order, many people were saving spots.
If you're gonna come to California adventure, this is definitely a place you have to come to. If you'd like a Snickers bar and you'd like to be fun and creative this is the best dessert that I think that was present at Disneyland California adventure. It's big and whimsical and tasty and sweet. It tastes fresh. It has all the characteristics of a giant Snickers bar as it should. The service is fine. Your order on the mobile app and Waze. The audience is clean. The children like to watch the pretzel along the conveyor belt
Pym Test Kitchen was a letdown. The "giant taco" isn't really a taco at all, it's basically a cold, bland salad awkwardly folded and mislabeled. No salsa. The pasta was equally bland, no flavor payoff at all. On top of that, there's very limited shade, most of those seats are occupied by exhausted guests, not diners which makes an already disappointing meal even less enjoyable. Overall, it just wasn't a pleasant or relaxing experience. Definitely not something I'd go out of my way for again.

We stopped here to get the kids a mid morning snack after spending the first part of our morning in Carsland. They were delighted by watching the pretzels moving around inside the restaurant. They split a breakfast platter that included bread, eggs, and fruit. Very standard meal, but they both enjoyed it and ate the whole thing. Of course I had to grab one of their limited edition drinks. Ordered a Blueberry Matcha Latte with a taco salad. The taco was hearty enough for one person. Matcha Latte was much sweeter than bitter. Line went quick when I visited around 1 pm on a Thursday. When you order, you get a receipt, hand the receipt to the "scientists" and they will prepare your order. Once done, you can head out to the left to get your condiments, utensils, napkins, and sodas if you ordered a soda. Plenty of shaded options provided. You can see the Avengers show from where you are if you stand. Your view is covered if you sit and watch. Overall, it wasn't too bad. I will definitely come back and try their alcoholic concoctions next. read more

The Baseline: For a sit down Dining experience establishment the food flavors must represent the theme of the environment, there must be unique offerings to the restaurant based on the theme, and the experience must be immersive to the theme park experience. Food: The food at Pym's Test Kitchen is fun and themed. Size portions are distorted and really brings out the theme that Hank Pym's life's work has used his Pym Particles to enhance my dining experience. Way to go Antman! The food is okay in taste (except for the Humongous Taco Salad which is awesome). The Reactor Melt was good and tater tots will never be bad. The Beer Mimosa was surprisingly really good. The Mystic Taro Mocha is not on my top sweet drinks (looking at you Galaxy's Edge Black Caf). The Neutron Nachos would be great with real meat but vegetarians need to eat and impossible taco meat provides them the best fake meat alternative. Honestly Impossible Meat really works into the theme of this restaurant. Overall my main critique is that Pym's Test Kitchen needs to bring back the Deadpool and Wolverine Chimichanga. Bring back the Chimichanga, Disney. Bring... it... back! Service: The service is quick and efficient and the cast members are always friendly. Compliment you cast member on the Disneyland App please. Ambiance: It is big and small themed and science is king at Pym's Test Kitchen. One of the best themed fast casual eating establishments in the park. Very clean environment and extremely safe. Final Critique: Bring back the Deadpool and Wolverine Chimichanga. Bring back the Chimichanga, Disney. Bring... it... back!!!!!!! Bring it back and I will 5-star my review. We haven't been to Pym Test Kitchen in a few years, and were excited about some of the new additions! Tried the The Chimichanga with ... what else ... Wolverine claw marks front and center! Deadpool (especially) and Wolverine are everywhere these days! The chimichanga itself was good. And it really was, if you like Taco Bell type flavor in a more glorified & fanciful presentation. We were impressed by the size for the price compared to some other options throughout DCA. We definitely weren't disappointed, actually enjoyed it, and would get it again in the future (although the new Humongous Taco Salad is next on the list ;) ). I mean come on...where else can you eat while waving at Black Panther and Iron Man! read more
I think we all know we're going to overpay for anything in this area. With that in mind, the Ambiance was pretty cool and the food came out fast. This is a good place to eat with plenty of (shaded) seating outdoors & indoors. You have a nice view of the Avengers campus if you sit outside too, in case you wanted to see the Avengers Assemble shows. Food: - The Blueberry Matcha Iced Latte was good - a little too creamy but definitely tasted both blueberry + matcha without one flavor overpowering the other. The popping boba and cream on top were a nice touch as well. - The Reactor Melt sandwich was decent - it was really just a panini sandwich with cheese and tomatoes. Nothing special. - The Not-So-Little chicken sandwich was fun in theory, but the chicken itself was thin and heavily breaded and a little dry, so sauce is really necessary to finish this. I tried the Cookies & Cream Cold Brew at Pym Test Kitchen during my birthday trip to DCA in November 2024. It was super cute and definitely one of the more unique drinks in the park. The cold brew had a nice chocolatey flavor, and the sweet cream with the Oreo on top made it feel like a dessert and coffee in one. That said, it leaned a little on the sweet side for me, so I probably wouldn't grab it every time, but I'm still glad I tried it. Fun, refreshing, and definitely Instagram-worthy. If you like sweeter coffee drinks, you'll probably love it! read more
We had this humongous taco salad and it smells great. We pre-ordered so getting the food was quick and easy. The cashiers were nice and great service. I don't really how the service is if eating there though. The chipotle chicken was good but I wish there was more of it inside the shell instead of being a lot of the shell hence the minus 1 star. The price for this is $14.99 which I think is kind of expensive considering how little of the filling is so another minus star. Overall it is a 6.5/10 and kind of hard to eat unless you smash up the taco shell and mix it all together. read more

My boyfriend and I ordered the not so little chicken sandwich and paired it with the blueberry matcha ! Not So Little Chicken Sandwich: 4/10 I was sososos disappointed when I ate the chicken sandwich & the tater tots :-( I felt like this was pretentious & the chicken was so dry. The tater tots were super dry as well and I felt like the meal was overcooked ¿ Blueberry Matcha: 9/10 I was pleasantly surprised when I tried the blueberry matcha -- this drink quite litcherally saved the meal ! There was a strong matcha flavor & the blueberry taste was not overpowering :') I would come back for the blueberry matcha Overall super disappointed with the meal :( I'm not sure if we caught PYM Test Kitchen on a bad day or if they accidentally overcooked our meal but I couldn't finish the meal bc of how dry the food was read more

The food was decent--nothing mind-blowing, but it got the job done! I tried the **vegan breakfast**, I think it was called the **Garden Basket**, and my partner went for the **French toast**. One thing Disney always gets right? **Service.** From my experience, it's consistently great, which definitely makes up for any food that's just _okay_. The portion size was solid, too--it kept me going all day, so no complaints there! Would I go back? Probably, but I'd be curious to see if they step it up next time! read more
A sweet treat is what I got this time - the Cookies n Creme Cold Brew. It was a good option for a mild adult drink (no alcohol). Coming here is a fun and unique experience! I've been here a few times but on this visit i came to try the new Cold Brew Infusion: Cinnamon and Spice (Cinnamon caramel cold brew with cardamom cream foam) If you like Cinnamon Toast Crunch, you'll love this new cold brew. The coffee flavor was nonexistent IMO and a bit watered down. The sweetness of the cardamom cream foam and the Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal together balanced with the cold brew making it taste like you were having a "cup of cereal" lol I recommend placing a mobile order instead of waiting in line for faster service and don't forget to use your Magic Key Discount..if you have a Magic Key :) read more
Heard mixed reviews about this spot but have been wanting to try it for a while. I have to say they did not disappoint - their taco salad is absolutely humongous, but it's still a pretty light and healthy option despite the size. Plus, who doesn't love to eat the shell? The Reactor Melt is also a nice comfort option - it's a good sized grilled cheese sandwich with tomato; it comes with tater tots that I really enjoyed. There's a good amount of seating at this spot, and it's right in the heart of Avengers Campus so you get to take in all the sights & sounds. read more
service: great! :) beer mimosa ($14.00 USD) pretty disappointed to be honest.. it wasn't as sweet as I'd hoped and had an overall bitter taste. the orange juice flavor was faint, with the sierra nevada hazy little thing IPA overpowering it, leaving the drink unbalanced.. atomic pretzel: apple-bacon soft pretzel ($10.49 USD) honestly not a big fan..the cinnamon-sugar salted pretzel was a bit too hard and slightly dry. while it's topped with apple-bacon compote, cranberries, caramel sauce, cream cheese, and candied pepper bacon, the flavors didn't come together as i'd hoped--leaving the overall taste a bit bland read more

As I've said on other reviews for Disney dining, mobile ordering is the way to go. It's super convenient and you'll avoid having to wait in line. On this visit, I ordered several items, including the choco smash cake, side of potato bites (basically tater tots) and cold brew infusion. I also got a wide of cheese beer sauce thinking it would be good with the potato, but sadly I think it would have been a better accompaniment to their pretzel. The cake was sweet and chocolatey (perfect if you like snickers candy bars!) and paired well with the cold brew. I'll be back again for a meal, as I've been eyeing their breakfast menu :) read more
The giant pretzel was pretty good but the amount of cheese super small. For even a small dip for each bite you'd need about 2.5 ramekins of the cheese. The taco salad was pretty good, but the taco shell tasted off, it didn't taste like corn or flour. read more
Ambiance 3/5 ~ The area is loaded with kids and music. So, this is a great place for families. But for a group of women without the kids at Disney, this spot maybe not the best. Food 3/5 ~ The choices are not healthy nor excellent in flavor. The pretzel is a great choice but was too cold. The beer cheese sauce was fake in taste. Service 4/5 ~ The staff are friendly and clear the tables quickly. If you are interested in having a drink, order a kids drink and fill up. The drink dispenser has a great selection and is unlimited. I won't return to eat the food. Darn! Come on Disney, start making better meals! read more

We rope dropped Avenger's Campus and after a few rides, we needed something to eat and decided to try Pym's Test Kitchen. I mobile ordered my food and it was ready very quickly! I picked up my order and decided to eat outside so that I could soak in the atmosphere. I got the Calculated Breakfast = E x 2 + (B+P)/T (Eggs Two Ways with Smoked Bacon, crispy Potato Bites and Focaccia Toast) and it was so good! Everything was hot and fresh! read more

I enjoyed my visit to Pym Test Kitchen. The ordering system was easy, my food was ready quickly, and I believe I got a great bang for my buck. I quickly stopped inside of Pym Test Kitchen during my visit to Disneyland because I was craving a soft pretzel. I only ordered the Quantum Pretzel so I can't speak much about what they have to offer, but I was very happy with what I got. The pretzel is HUGE - bigger than the average human head - and it fed a family of four. And yes, it is as delicious as it is big. Moreover, it is not pricey at all, and keeping amusement park prices in mind, I definitely believe it is worth the money. I also love the location of Pym Test Kitchen. There's a nice seating area right outside the restaurant, and since this restaurant is in the middle of the Avengers campus - you can sit and watch the action while munching on the pretzel of your dreams. Overall, I would definitely stop by again for a pretzel or two. Also, I'm looking forward to trying the drinks at the Pym Tasting Lab, they look phenomenal! read more

Avengers Assemble! And fuel up lol I've gotten the pretzel from Pym Test Kitchen and it was huge lol It tasted good. I would get that again. But I really want to go back and try that impossible pasta! That looks super delicious and is vegetarian friendly! So I am game lol I suggest doing the mobile ordering because it can get really busy. The restaurant is located in Avengers Campus. You can order on the app or in line. When we went there was no line. They actually waited for us to decide our order. Friendly staff. We tried the quantum pretzel, beer mimosa and x-periment. Very cool fun concepts for the theme. The pretzel was tasty but really just a ginormous pretzel with cheese sauce. What I found unique and tasty were the drinks. Both were great. And you get to keep a souvenir plastic beaker cup. The husband thinks this makes a great happy hour spot so if we ever returned it would be a stop in the afternoon to relax vs this visit more of a brunch snack. read more

Pym Test Kitchen has some of the coolest Ant-Man themed décor in Avengers Campus, with oversized soda cans, ketchup bottles, and a playful queue that makes the wait feel a little less painful. We waited about 30 minutes around 11am on a Saturday, which wasn't too bad, but the food didn't live up to the look. The "shrunk" eggs were adorable, but everything tasted bland and my whole family agreed it was disappointing. If you are really hungry and happen to be near Guardians of the Galaxy, it's fine in a pinch, just be sure to mobile order so you don't waste more time waiting. read more
wow disappointing. i got a 'reactor melt' but gluten free bc i'm trying out an elimination diet i mean gluten free bread is always disappointing but yea the description made it sound much better. it's a mid-grilled cheese my friend's pb&j was also baffling. so much peanut butter for two slices of bread cut in half i wish there were better less processed food at disney but who am i kidding! read more

The wait to get your food is long even when they're not busy, but the food itself is was pretty good for being "fast food" Disney food. There was plenty of space to sit (only outdoors) & conveniently super close to the restrooms. We got the taco salad and the pesto melt. The taco salad I feel like the portions inside of the taco shell should have been bigger and the melt was delicious but was missing something to dip it in like sauce or a soup. I also recommend adding bacon to the melt, although it's like an extra $3. This is an affordable place to go that will still be enjoyable, although their options are limited, I still recommend it read more

This is in the DCA park and my little one loves coming here for breakfast. . He loves how big the French Toast is. So definitely come for the experience and especially if you have kids. This is perfect to share. We also ordered the cookies and cream cold brew. Too sweet for me. But my husband loved it. My husband typically doesn't eat breakfast. So while he enjoyed the coffee. My son and I enjoyed the food. You can order on your Disney app for faster service but we just got inline and ordered and got to pick up our food within 10 minutes if that. read more
I have always seen photos of the chicken sandwich here, so I had to try it. Note that the alcohol line is separate from the food line; so while we got drinks, I made an online order at Pym Test Kitchen for the Not So Little Chicken Sandwich ($15.49). The concept of this place is pretty cool with the decor of the regular size-pretzels becoming enlarged. Honestly, I kind of wish we got the Quantum Pretzel instead, but we already had a pretzel for the day. Anyways, the order didn't take long and we found some seats outside. The sandwich is made with a mini bun, so that the chicken cutlet looks huge. I felt a little decieved because I thought the chicken was going to be even bigger. It actually made it a bit difficult to eat because you're barely holding onto the sandwich by the buns as you're only biting into fried chicken. I did enjoy the tater tots though, which were nice and crispy. Overall, decent good and cool concept, but nothing that stood out. You're better off getting a regular chicken sandwich. read more
Delicious vegan breakfast! Two impossible sausage patties, a vegan folded egg, tater tots, and focaccia split in half to make a sandwich. The tater tots were perfectly fried so they were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The focaccia was nicely toasted. Everything was really tasty. read more

How dare you DCA serve me possibly the worst quality cold dry scrambled eggs, dry foccacia toast with some ridiculous quail egg. The bacon was an absolute atrocity in itself flimsily thin and cold. The tater tots were the only saving grave still semi crispy and barely warm but i freakin hate how disney loves them tater tots at many of their restaurants but sadly it's their only consistent thing they can do. There were only a few people eating here and it wasnt busy. Shame on the eggs and bacon hard pass dont come here unless you want the saddest breakfast in the entire park. Side note their workers are exceptionally friendly and attentive always cleaning. Maybe focus on your food please. read more
Love the creativity! Love the concept! Love this quick serve! We used the mobile order but you can walk in too. Vegan options!!! I ordered the Impossible meatball meal. My only but major complaint was my entire meal was cold. I would have returned it for a warm one but I just ran the Disneyland Half and I would have eaten anything that ended up in front of me at that moment. Ha! My companion ordered the gianormous chicken sandwich and it delivered. It was huge and delicious. Win. We also ordered the cake and holee smokes it was the best Disney dessert ever. Double win. Some downside is there is limited seating and people are sitting at seats not eating. Cast members should help move them off so eating guests can use the tables. Also, when we did find a table I had to clean it myself. The decor and ambiance is adorable. We loved it and I would most def return. read more

We always love the food and drink here as is is unique and flavorful, not something you would expect in a theme park! One of the best eating options in California adventure park! Their menu is so fun- especially for kids. A favorite is the make your own pb&j (which includes a side of yogurt with popping boba and blue swirled toast) and the fried chicken sandwich. The sandwich has a German cutlet sized piece of fried chicken with the smallest bun imaginable! The pym particle pretzel is a favorite as well. Recently, they offered a chicken salad in a giant fried flour tortilla shaped like a taco! Holy cow, it was good. But more than that, the photo ops for all these unique foods is the best! They offer mobile ordering. The seating is limited and it is always difficult to find seating here. Pro tip, take your food over to the seating between guardians and the theater.
