    Marriott burger with side salad
    Brenda M.

This is located within the Marriott hotel. Which is great if you are staying there. The ambiance could need some help. They have lots of seating and TV's but it's very dark (gloomy). The service is pretty good. Our server was Robert. Nice guy. They did take a bit with our food and there wasn't many people. The food itself was very good. I had the Marriott burger, very juicy, bacon was crispy (perfection). I also ordered a side salad instead of fries, great lettuce. Very crispy, fresh. I also ordered 2 drinks from the bar. A Long Island iced tea, which just tasted like 7 & 7. Could have been better. Then I asked for something peachy and vodka- OMG it was soo good. I don't know what they gave me but it was delish. I would recommend this place if you are staying there.

I've mixed reviews on this one. The service was great at the bar. Antonia made a great Old Fashion. She was attentive and held a nice chat. Thank you. The food: Green chile stew was solid, but they don't have soup spoons! That is a major pet peeve. You're in a Marriott!!! Step it up! Steak special - the steak was very soft, but it felt like it went thru a jaccard machine vs. being a good cut. Sorry, but let's be honest here! Yes, it tasted very good, but.... cheating!!! The bread was a rock, almost literally, and not consumable. It took two bites. Ouch! The asparagus was good because it was a smaller stalk, so it was not chewy! Good choice. The mashed potatoes were very creamy with a nice spice, almost too salty but on the edge. The dessert...duh...I have a sweet tooth... was a flourless chocolate cake. It was dense and more dark cocoa vs. chocolate milk. The pinion nuts and red chili dust work well. Overall, it was good. I'm a Food industry guy, so a bit picky!

This is an updated menu current as of January 30, 2023. I got the salmon berry salad which was pretty solid. Warm salmon and the salad was pretty large. I split it into 2 meals so it was well worth the $21 price

I got a chicken taco soup. Pretty good, but not the best. Waiting staff were friendly and helpful. I also had a martini. Shaken, not stirred.

Our service was outstanding-food came out quickly and our server quickly and easily was able to accommodate some minor modifications to our dishes. We started our dinner by sharing the guacamole salad, chips, salsa verde, and salsa rojo. The guacamole was rich, fresh, and creamy, and the chips were warm, crispy, with the right amount of salt. The salsa verde was delicious; the salsa rojo was OK. I got the sample platter for my main dish; I particularly liked the brisket taco. I highly recommend going to Cocina Azul if you are in Albuquerque!

We ordered the green chile stew, fish tacos, green/red wet burrito with steak and taco salad with steak. They accidentally brought shrimp tacos instead of the fish, so we got to try those too. Everything was decent. - Green chile stew: good flavor. A little spicy for some. Liked that it was served with a tortilla. - Taco salad: got it with rice and beans. Steak was good. - Red/green wet burrito with steak: Really good flavor. Loved the combo of the sauces. Side of pozole was also delicious. - Fish tacos: the fish was nice and crispy, but I didn't love the cremas, which in my opinion are key to a good fish taco. The papas side was delish. The beans side was a bit salty. The horchata had good flavor but seemed a bit watery. The Diet Coke was good (looks like they recently switched from Pepsi since some of the menus still said Pepsi). The seating area is large. The AC was on a little high -- we had to go to the car for jackets.

Since their business name includes "taco" I had to try them out. I have to say that their tacos are very good with my favorite being the tripitas. I was also curious about their burgers since those seem to be an item that people get. I ordered the monster burger which is a Mexican style burger loaded with all kinds of goodies including winnies and ham. My description of it doesn't do it justice so take a look at my pics. Their tacos are very good but you also need to try one of their burgers, especially if you have a monster appetite.

My husband and I were super excited to try them, this was our first meal out of a bus! The goat birria is to die for! We ordered it in a burrito and next time we will get it in tacos with consume. If the birria is this amazing without consume, I can't imagine with it. My mouth is watering just thinking about it! The carne asada tacos and al pastor tacos were also yummy and very fresh. It is just that the birria was so amazing! After you order at the counter (or you can call ahead to order) they give you a buzzer so you know when the food is ready. We came on a weeknight and they were pretty busy.

We were worried about finding a table for a family of 4 since the main seating area is not the largest & it was really busy. But a table cleared right after we ordered so it worked out. The service was warm and friendly. They have a good selection of food - we wanted to try so many things. I had the chicken, barbacoa, and al pastor tacos. My wife tried the vegetartian tacos. Our kids ordered the asada baked potato and the asada nachos. Everything was delicious and tasted authentic. We've eaten many good meals in Mexico and this food tasted as good & possibly better! It's been a while since we've been this excited and satisfied while eating a meal - everyone was so quiet devouring their food. Just driving up to the restaurant you can catch the awesome scent of delicious food working up your hunger. There's so much to like about this place. The workers are friendly. There's an app you can use to order ahead & have ready to pick up using the drive through. They have an awesome menu & delicious food. The churros & agua fresca are great. The main area is family-friendly, but there is a bar/more lively indoor area & outdoor seating where you can hang out with your friends while having drinks and good food. There is an energetic happy vibe here. We have added this restaurant as one of our top go-to places when we go out to eat. Our kids get excited when we tell them that we're going to eat here! This place is a hidden gem - I highly recommend trying it out!

They have all the standard drinks, and also traditional horchatas and agua de jamaica (sweet and not very strong). We enjoyed everything we had including the asada, al pastor, shredded beef, birria, and the potatoes were a revelation (melt in your mouth and a great pairing for any of the meats). Come and enjoy!

Felt like that scene in the movie Old School where Will Ferrell is at the house party carrying a couple soda cans and a couple of the kids are daring him to chug. That's been me since trying those magnificent tacos. Right away it didn't take me long to find what I wanted. You know I went for the quesabirria combo plate. I had to have me that dip and the exquisite tacos. They got em out in about 15 minutes bringing them directly to my car. I was so excited to try them I only made it across the street parking at the Panera so I could dig right it. I should've waited til I at least had a table to sit at cuz man that was messy but oh so good. The amount of cheese and meat combined with all the fixings, some lime juice, and of course a couple dips with each bite of the consume. It was heavenly. I'm glad I had a rather large collection of fast food napkins in my car with me. I really enjoyed the presentation of the tacos. Not to mention the chill vibes of the staff. They understood it was my first time and they helped me find what I was looking for. I'll gladly be back for more of those quesabirrias cuz omg they are so freaking good!

While ordering on the kiosk noticed they had an…read moreamazing Taco Tuesday deal of any 3 tacos & fountain drink for $9.95 so that's what me and the hubs ordered - 2 taco Tuesday specials and a Oaxaca Queso & Chips. Let me start by saying that this Oaxaca Queso was one of the BEST chile con queso dips I have ever had. It's incredibly tasty and packed full of flavors with delicious fresh ingredients that you can taste with every bite. Just for the queso alone I would come back but let me get to the tacos too. So I had a Brisket, Carnitas and Asada Tacos and I have to say that they were ALL absolutely delicious and flavorful. I didn't particularly enjoy the corn tortilla and they double the tortilla on every taco if you like that. I just wished that they used a tortilla that had a better taste or at least hit it with some light oil on the plank but this can also be that I am Mexican and I'm use to eating my tacos on homemade corn tortillas so I'm picky there. Regardless these Tacos are some of the best I have had in town for sure. My hubby had the Brisket, Battered Fish & Battered Avocado and Absolutely Raved about all of them! He wanted to make sure that I was happy because he knows that if I am not happy at a restaurant- we will never ever come back and he loved his food so much he wanted to make sure we would come back. I eased his mind and told him we would definitely be back because like I said above - the Oaxaca Queso Dip was enough to hook me and then I sampled all 6 different tacos and loved them all. They also have a salsa bar with 7 different salsas for every different palette and different meat and also limes to complement your tacos. I like the variety of the salsas because depending on the meat some go better than others. Ordering on the kiosks was fun, easy and allowed you to see everything they actually offer. Order came out lightning fast and staff were very friendly. Restaurant and Bathroom were clean. Highly recommend this place. We will definitely be back for more
