I will shout out amazing experiences on all platforms when earned! I need to make sure that no matter what site people are looking at they see how supertastic this place IS! Especially on a busy day the staff was on top of it! I raved about the calamari and the lobster bisque, but my kids are stilling raving bout the meat a balls! Now I have my work cut out for me when we get back home! We enjoyed the atmosphere especially after being stuck in the car for 8hrs! This place needs to come to my hometown and I will take the management and staff or maybe just have them come and make this amazing food at my home for us. Part of the AAdvantage dining network, we were staying at the Marriott within walking distance nearby (2 pluses). We started off sharing a house salad (10 bucks) & it was pretty small and just ok. I ordered the margherita pizza and it, too, was just ok (looked better than it tasted). I was not offered any red pepper flakes nor parm cheese. BFF ordered some pasta dish and he said his was excellent. My cousin ordered either a penne or rigatoni pasta dish but she did not comment on whether she liked it or not (I didn't ask, either). As for libations, I had a regular martini with vodka and vermouth and olives (I thought the description stated bleu cheese but they were regular). BFF ordered some type of specialty drink that the server recommended and he said it was good (cousin just had a regular iced tea). The restaurant itself is large and very beautiful inside (& clean, too). It was not crowded as it was very early (4pm). Not sure if I would be back tbh. Got the chicken Marsala. Chicken was dry, and we were comp'd. Green beans were too crunchy for my taste. I like them just tender, but these were crunchy. Nice and apologetic staff--we only told them about the dry meat. Table was sticky to the touch in our booth. Probably needs a new coating. Bread and seasoned oil were brought to table at beginning, and it was very good. Had the molten warm chocolate cake, but compared to all the molten chocolate cakes I've ever had, this one was only slightly warm with no liquid anything flowing out the middle. Most I get are pretty warm if not hot. It was fairly solid in the middle. We had gone based on a birthday coupon we got in the mail. Even after the comp'd entree, we were willing to order a tea and dessert to make our bill $40 and above so we could use the $20 bday gift card, but the manager who took off our entree wouldn't let us use the gift card. It counted as two promos. My husband got the Sicilian pizza and the chop salad. The sausages on it were bland. It's been months if not years since we had come to Bravo, but this time we were disappointed. I try to give very honest reviews and want restaurants to succeed. I hate to leave negative reviews, but WOW what a mess of an experience that deserves one star. We are in town for the holidays & knew ahead of time we needed a place to have dinner on Christmas. I found this spot & called ahead a week in advanced to make a reservation. Our reservation was for 5pm & the resturant said it was open until 9pm. Upon arrival the resturant was busy which is understandable due to it being a holiday however the experience went down hill very fast. Food wise it took well over an hour to get our food. They had customers food sitting under the heat lamp for almost an hour, we saw a piece of what looked like fish barely under the lamp and it Sat there for 45 mins before being served to the person. When we finally received our food almost all of our dishes were cold. Some of the dishes they were serving to people in the resturant and to go orders weren't even where they were being kept warm, they were literally sitting on the desk/counter. Seeing as how almost nothing was open to being with and how late it had gotten, we just dealt with it. There were a ton of upset customers and not just us. They were telling TONS of people they were running out of almost everything and even when we left there were a lot of guests waiting to be seated & the manager was telling them he couldnt guarantee they were going to get food at all, there was still two hours until they were supposed to close.The steaks two people in our party ordered were not cooked properly, one wasn't cooked enough and the other was overcooked. The chicken in one of our dishes also wasn't 100% cooked all the way. Part of why we felt like the service was so bad and they ran out of so many things was also because they were filling online to go orders and it seemed like they were concentrating on those orders first before the guests already seated. Put in my order online. Once I showed up the lady at the counter said it would be a few minutes as the cook made the wrong pasta for the shrimp Alfredo. It was a bit watery but tasted fine. I did have issues trying to call them on phone to ask about allergens. 27min wait before I gave up after they'd said they would check. But in person it was like 5min to check. Bad food and value. The shrimp appetizer was mushy and lacking a lot of sauce. Also they gave 12 mini shrimp. For the price of $20, you would expect more or higher quality. The lobster and shrimp scampi was tasteless. It had no salt, and also there were exactly 3 really small pieces of lobster and 6 mini shrimp. For $40, I would expect a little more seafood. They take you out by loading it with chunks of tomatoes that could look like seafood. Also look at the portion! This was a small to go box and they barely filled that a third of the way! The bread pudding was bad. They actually served the ice cream as just a melted pool of cream. It was literal soup served on the side. Everyone had great food from salmon to spaghetti & meatballs! My chicken parmigiana was a little too breaded for me but the linguini was good and had good bread!! I did an online order a couple weeks ago and when I went to pick up my meals they said they didn't have the ribs I ordered. I was told I would get a refund in a couple days but I still have not received it even after calling three times. I guess they expect me to just forget about it! In addition to my missing meal I went into the bar that evening and ordered a beer while I waited for my meal. When I paid I gave the server a $10 and she said she was going to come back with my change. She never came back after waiting almost 10 minutes. I hate leaving bad reviews, but this place was a waste of money. $47 steak was overcooked, over seasoned, and over priced. Salmon in salad was overcooked and dry. We would have sent them back if our server had come around every once in a while. When we did finally see our server, we had to ask for refills for our drinks. When it came time to settle our bill to get out of there, we had to ask another server to find ours so we could pay and leave. What a waste of time and money. Definitely will never go back. This restaurant is decorated in a style reminiscent of a decaying Italian villa. The service was great, but the food was poor. The linguini had almost no sauce on it making it dry and unpalatable. The chicken was covered in mushrooms, pounded flat, and also had little sauce on it making it also dry. There were no more than 25-30 people in this large restaurant, and our party was 15 of them. Lots of options to choose from we settled in with the Spaghetti Bolognese and Italian wedding soup and Pasta Bravo with Lobster Bisque. Wedding soup had good flavor while the bisque was rich & creamy. The bread that came out was nice and hot. The Bolognese sauce was good, with a mild flavor. The Pasta Bravo was flavorful. It had a thick vodka sauce, the chicken was most likely breast. It would have been dry without the sauce. For dessert we split the warm chocolate cake. A small piece topped with vanilla bean gelato. We finally tried this restaurant. The dining area is very elegant looking. Reminiscent of Italy. I had the chicken parm and it was very good, but a little over cooked on the chicken. My boyfriend had the Fra Diablo and he said it was excellent. It has campanella pasta with a spicy tomato cream sauce & lobster butter. The service was excellent and our waitress was friendly and attentive. And of course the Creme Brulee was to die for! Will definatdkt go back soon. Waited 10 minutes before a hostess came out. Asked if we can do patio cause of pet. They put us out there, another person came out and said patio is off limit. They just left us there with menus, and none of the door works so we couldn't even get back in to look for a waiter. I almost never go to chain restaurants & this place is why. Haven't been here in 3-5 years, but I could have written an almost identical review then: The bartender was charming, helpful & knows his stuff as a self-professed lover of bourbon, he made a killer old fashioned (skip the menu version, go for his). The artichoke/spinach dip was good, the bread was good too. But the calamari was TERRIBLE. How is it both under done on the outside (white batter, not crisp) yet also over done on the inside (rubber)? The entire dish was cold & the arrabbiatta sauce had no spice at all, the lemon aiol tasted only of mayo. I couldn't do it. But then, the restroom... the room stank, the floor was sticky, the trash was piled up. It was enough that I will definitely not go back for 3-5 years, unless it's for a drink alone. read more

Six of us came on a Friday @ 5 pm for Happy Hour which is typically served only in the bar area and patio. The hostess had to get permission for us to sit in these areas because there was only 1 bar tender. It was a warm day and the place was pretty busy. So I have to wonder 2 things: 1) why would there be only 1 bar tender on a Friday @ 5 pm? and 2) why would you even consider turning away people who want to spend any amount of money??? So my group was happy to be seated in the restaurant and not make a fuss -- but then a smart manager decided to give us 'special dispensation on a one-time basis) to order from the Happy Hour menu from our table -- SCORE 1 point for that manager!! Our server was a young woman who was very sweet and accommodating. We all ordered drinks (they were slow to arrive) and the white wine was not quite chilled enough but we were happy to be served at all. The food items were good - not great but good. One person ordered a pizza (not off the HH menu) and it was only cheese but he did not care for it so he decided to take it home for the grand kids to snack on later. I got the Bravo burger and fries. The burger was plain - no lettuce or tomato or condiments. Our server never came back to ask if we wanted a second cocktail. I've always loved the food and atmosphere at Bravo. But this time we came for a friends birthday. We were seated at a booth which was different than the tables. The tables had nice clean white table cloths on them BUT the booth tables were old and worn - not nice at all which were depressing. We each had a drink before dinner and my Cosmo was pretty good. Then we got a cup of their Lobster bisque which was very good. The bread basket only had 3 rolls for the dipping sauce. I ordered the Shrimp Scampi w pasta. My friend ordered something called Pasta Woozie? I expected that wonderful garlic flavor to make the pasta go Wow with the shrimp but it was bland. Not flavorful at all like you'd expect of Shrimp Scampi. The pasta Woozie seemed ok. We finished w the Tiramisu for desert which was good. I found the meal to be Mehhh compared to other times I'd been there. Hopefully it was just an off night w the Pasta Scampi pasta but I don't believe I'll order it again. Very disappointed with our waiter, his attitude from the 1st encounter. Very dismissive with,our table of 5 women. First interaction, " selective hearing ", not funny. I've been a server and the attitude we encountered was not appreciated. Never came to see how our meals were, had to ask for more water, and combative when we mentioned the stunning price for a glass of house wine. We all understand that it was busy, not enough staff, but we rarely saw Julian other than at the next table but did not interact with us until time for the tickets. Went here for Sunday "Brunch". I do not think brunch is a good fit for this restaurant. We were surprised when we arrived that there was not the usual long wait that would be expected for a Sunday brunch. There were only two other tables being served at the time. Although advertised to sever brunch until 3pm we were there at 12pm and informed by the waitress that all but three items on the brunch menu were not availabe. Because I was looking someting on the lines of breakfast/burnch I ordered something I would not usually order being Tuscan someting or other. Basically a small portion of scrambled eggs with a few pieces of italian sausage, spinach and tomatoes with a handfull of patato wedges for $15.00. This was very greasy and besides the flavor from the sausage it was very bland. My wife had a $17.00 bowl of alfredo that she enjoyed but not happy that she had to resort to the dinner menu to find something that appealed to her. As we were finishing our meal the waitress attempted to clear my plate two times and then brought the check before either of us were finished with our meals. I came here for an early dinner, and of course it's that time of year when it gets dark pretty early. I have to say the outside is pretty dark and given that some of the places nearby had closed I was a bit concerned it was gone too! We get the calamari appetizer which was delicious and just the right amount of crispy. It was a nice sized plate for an appetizer. I also ordered the shrimp fra diavolo. There were a good amount of red pepper flakes in it to bring the heat, definitely not for the feint of heart! The pasta was perfectly done. I was a bit disappointed at the amount of shrimp in the dish, it was pretty overwhelmed by the pasta, thus one less star. It was quite good though. The tiramisu dessert was also excellent and all for a pretty reasonable price for a somewhat fancy dinner. Our server was excellent. Checking on us frequently, refilling the water glasses and happy to give us recommendations. She knew the menu very well and had good recommendations based on our questions and preferences. read more
