We got here late for a Friday evening, and a place is packed! Nonetheless, we were seated with friendly staff, and our drink and food orders taken right away. An excellent cocktail menu with a lot to choose from! The food menu has a lot of comfort type food and reading it all makes my stomach growl and anticipator hunger! The food did not take long to come out, and there was plenty of it! We shared the Monte Cristo and the chicken pot pie and let me tell you, both were extremely tasty and bountiful! Rich flavors and enough food to send you home with leftovers. The place is clean with clean restrooms. The entire staff was very friendly and attentive. We had a great time and by the end of dinner, we were stuffed! Very affordable and you get a lot for what you pay for!

My second time ever eating at cheddars and it was nothing like the first time. We were seated in less than 10 minutes which was not bad but we didn't get drinks for probably half an hour after that. We ordered an appetizer and also ordered our food. I'm not kidding you it took 40 minutes to get our food and the waiter brought our appetizer after our food had arrived. He was a nice man and took the appetizer off our bill. About our appetizer even though it was free, they forgot the chips and didn't bring any type of dipping sauces but we didn't complain. At this point we had sat so long we were just glad the food finally made it. The food itself was great. Our server was good but the wait times were horrible.

Let me start off with saying our waiter and trainee were really good. I ordered the steak and chicken tenders with hot honey sauce and side broccoli cheddar casserole and corn. My partner got ribs with chicken tenders (same as me) with baked potato and cheesy fries. This was probably one of the worst meals I ever had. My steak didn't look "real" no grain to the meat what so ever and looked like the synco meat (meat glue to make it look like steak). The broccoli casserole was real dry and not cheesy at all. Corn is corn so that was good. Also the spinach dip love that so please don't ever change what's going on with that. The place itself is real nice like the dark vibes and the presentation. But the food is something I'm not going to go for again. I'm just disappointed with my meal today such a shame I had to pay for a meal we only took a couple bites out of.

Rib eye. And fries. Very tasty broccoli also

This was my first visit to this establishment on April 8, 2025. A friend and I met there for lunch. It was busy and crowded at lunchtime, but we were seated right away. There is ample parking. There is very nice ambient light. The decor is relaxed. Staff was friendly and accommodating. The menu is long enough to have many good choices. I had a ribeye steak with fries, and my friend had fish and chips. The steak was cooked to exactly medium rare. The fries were very tasty. The fish and chips were very nicely done. Prices are very reasonable.

Stopped by for a work luncheon. Their staff was very friendly and accommodating. They were able to split our checks seamlessly. I got the Cajun chicken bowl. It was flavorful and the chicken was tender. It might be worthwhile to get extra pico on the side.

We decided to stop by for a bite to eat after a movie at the theater. All of our food was great. The server was really good and efficient. The atmosphere was nice quiet The popeyes were a hit and my monte cristo sandwich was awesome.

    Complimentary glazed croissants. Really yummy.

When we left the bar, I checked out the restaurant that was to the right when you walked into the front door of the Copper Lounge. It's has a very nice ambiance and it's not dark like the bar was next door. Don't have any other info on it but looked very nice. I would recommend checking these places out if you are looking for something very different from the usual places.

I especially enjoy ordering the classic grilled cheese and soup--perfectly named the Cold Day Warmer. Their spiced iced tea is another favorite of mine. The appetizers are solid as well, particularly the chips and queso and the fried combo with mozzarella sticks and zucchini. The cornbread is delicious, and the burgers are consistently good. While prices have gone up over the years and we don't dine here as often as we once did, I still appreciate the classic old-country atmosphere, complete with vintage memorabilia lining the walls. Service is generally consistent, which adds to the overall comfort and familiarity of the experience. Christy Mae's remains a place that feels like home, blending good food with cherished memories.

The area looks old and poor, but near the restaurant, we didn't see anything sketchy. When we were leaving, we did see some homeless people at the main intersection, but we didn't see anything we'd describe as sketchy. We did notice there is a mobile home park behind the restaurant, but there is a wall between the mobile home park and the restaurant parking lot. Even if there were police surrounding the mobile home park, we'd still venture inside to eat. The food is that good. We shared the cowboy breakfast burrito and the Santa Fe pancakes. Both were filling and ridiculously good. The Santa Fe pancakes made with blue corn, roasted piñons, green chili, and cheddar jack cheese were different than anything else we've ever had. I'll admit I didn't love my first bite or two, but the more I ate, the more I wanted. The pancakes are dry, but if you drizzle some syrup, it's the perfect match. The accompanying eggs and bacon were cooked perfectly. The cowboy breakfast burrito is massive, filling, and worth every calorie. Even though we were stuffed, we had to get the peach with green chile turnover. We asked if the turnover is served warm and our waitress replied that she could warm it up for is. I'm not sure that it is normally served warm, but I highly recommend it. The turnover flaky, the glaze was silky once warmed up and the peach with green chile was unique and delicious. Five star service and food. I highly recommend Vick's Vittles and hope that I'm in the area again so I can try more of this delicious food.

I don't even know where to start but here goes. The New Mexican Philly cheesesteak, arguably my favorite dish, very very different take on what a cheesesteak usually is (not in a bad way). I was first skeptical when I ordered it, but I saw all the great reviews on the dish so I had to try. This was oddly enough my 4th favorite Philly cheesesteak I've ever had, which is weird to say because the first 3 favorites were actually in Philly and made the traditional way. Something about the spicy queso sauce and the soft fatty tasting meat just really brought it home. The huevos rancheros: every inch was flavorful , saucy, cheesy and lovely. I enjoyed even more the parts where I could also taste the tortilla at the bottom, wish it was in more of the dish but it's okay the flavors were outstanding. Another 5 star dish! Next time I'll also try it with eggs over medium. The Xmas chile cheese fries: best chile cheese fries in New Mexico! The fries themselves tasted like they were hand cut, so either they had some high quality freezer fries or they definitely cut those fries by hand. Either way I wasn't complaining! Their green chile was insanely good. We also had the Green Chile stew, the flavors and ingredients were really good. I think for people that love home cooking this will feel really nostalgic for them. Like grandmas caldo she used to make. For me, the dry texture of the beef reminded me way too much of my mom's dry / rough beef she always had in her stews . Objectively I can say it was a really nice caldo, but the tortillas, not sure how I could grab on to much of the food with it really. I think this might be a dish best eaten in house. I also tipped their staff $2 in addition to the driver tip , and they wrote a funny joke on the plate which I thought was cute haha. I kept the rating at 5 stars but I hope that management reads this review because I do have one critique. All the food was in styrofoam and non sustainable plastic. Styrofoam especially has been banned from some places including California because when heated it, it adds cancer causing chemicals into your food. I would gladly pay $0.35 per meal to receive the meals in sustainable packaging that will keep me healthy. Because of this, I think I won't be ordering from here for delivery and hope that I have time to make the 20 minute drive to go there in person. It's really good food! Found this place on DoorDash but the funny part is it's been near my house the whole time next to the barber shop I've been to plenty of times.

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm, inviting atmosphere that perfectly set the stage for what would be an unforgettable meal. The shrimp were perfectly cooked, plump, and juicy, seasoned to perfection with a subtle kick that danced on my taste buds. The grits were creamy and rich, with just the right amount of buttery goodness, creating a harmonious blend of flavors that left me wanting more. Next up was the Fried Chicken and Waffle Jr. Plate, a true masterpiece. The chicken was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, seasoned with a secret blend of spices that elevated it to new heights. The waffle was fluffy and golden, a perfect vessel for soaking up every drop of syrup. While I do wish they used Vermont maple syrup grade A, it was by no means a flaw, it only added to the charm of the dish. The Sweet Tea was the perfect accompaniment to my meal. It was refreshingly sweet, with a hint of lemon that brightened each sip and left a lingering taste of summer. The service was impeccable, with attentive staff who made sure every need was met with a smile. Their genuine hospitality added to the overall experience, making me feel like a valued guest. We live in Alabama currently and this was our least favorite dish of the day. Shrimp were cooked well and so were the grits but there was just something else it needed. Spicy Lime Ceasar was ok till he requested more dressing then it was amazing. I was afraid of ordering it but the dressing wasn't too spicy . White sangria I had was disappointing it was more of a 1995 wine spritzer than a wine infused with citrus which is the very essence of sangria. I liked the meal, and it was enough to bring half of the sandwich home for lunch the next day. The other two ordered the Crispy Pork Belly & Tomato Jam flat bread. One liked it, the other was just okay with it. Two of us ordered sangria. It was white, which came as a surprise to us. It was less sweet than we prefer.
