I happen to stumble upon this place today while out grocery shopping with my Grandma. This place is located on Beach Blvd in the same plaza where you see the giant orange dinosaur in the front. The place is very nice, clean, simple, and cute. It's a new place that sells banh mi, coffee, boba, and other foods such as pho, rice vermicelli, etc. The service is great! The staffs are polite, kind, and loving. Today I ordered 4 banh mi's to go. The banh mi dac biet, the nem nuong, cha Lua, and thit nuong. I also tried their coconut coffee since this was the first time I've seen a place offer it. The coconut coffee was good! I liked it. Sweet with a hint of the taste of coffee. There were coconut flakes on top as well. The banh mi dac biet was great!! Meat was perfect with the veggies, butter, and pate. Very tasty! As for the other ones, I haven't tried yet, but I hope it is just as good! Overall, love this place! Will come back again to try their other foods :)

I've been meaning to stop by here and I'm so glad we did! It's a cute restaurant and the workers are so nice. All the food was delicious and I especially liked the orange lemonade, I could tell they squeezed it fresh. I've never had that combination before but now it's one of my faves. Overall a great experience and I'll definitely stop by again!

Special combination banh mi. I toasted it extra to make it crispy!

We were excited to see a new banh mi place and decided to stop in. The customer service was super friendly and the restaurant itself was clean, bright, and I love the decor. I love the photos on the wall that depicts the street food in Vietnam. I loved the pretty aesthetics and vibe of the restaurant as well! We ordered 3 of the special combination banh mis and also a grilled pork one. Also an avocado smoothie with tapioca and Vietnamese iced coconut coffee. The rating has nothing to do with the service but the food itself. The banh mi prices were reasonable and on par with other competitors. They're running a special promotion for their grand opening, if you buy 3, you get 1 free. Special combination banh mi: 6/10 - We received two with the usual combination (pork, pate, pickled veggies, cucumber, cilantro, head cheese) but one came with shredded chicken? We were a bit thrown off because we never had chicken before in a special combo banh mi. Not sure if they ran out of the pork but all we had was shredded chicken in one of them. The pork was boiled and sliced (like how my mother makes it) so I did have a taste of nostalgia! The pickled veggies were fresh but it was missing the jalapenos. Usually in banh mis they include jalapenos if you want it spicy. You can get a spicy version of the banh mi here, but they just put siracha on the banh mis instead. My husband and I really loved the pate! It was very delicious and provided an extra kick of umami flavor but there's no aioli. I think if they added the aioli then it would have been perfect! The bread was toasted and when we bit in, it has that nice crunch. Grilled pork banh mi: 6.5/10 - the flavors were good and the pork was grilled nicely. It was slightly better in flavor than the special combination banh mi. I would get this one again. Avocado smoothie with tapioca: no rating as they gave me the wrong drink. They made me a berry smoothie instead. It's okay, mistakes happen but I wish I could have tried their avocado smoothie. I was going to say something but we were in a hurry. The smoothie itself was good, no complaints. It had fresh strawberries and the tapioca was nice and bouncy! If you like strawberries or berries, you would absolutely love this drink! Vietnamese iced coconut coffee: 5/10 - unfortunately we didn't really like this drink. There's scoop of coconut cream and flakes on top and the flavor of the cream was delicious but the rest of the drink was really watered down. We could barely taste the coffee itself. Vietnamese iced coffee has a robust, smoky chicory taste and we tasted none of it. We were pretty disappointed. It may have been an off day but we're willing to try it again. It's a far drive from us so we wouldn't go out of our way to come there but if we're in the area, we might stop by. This is from our personal experience but I do encourage you guys to try it out as it's always great to support small businesses!

Their coffee is exceptional. Hard to decide if their vietnamese coffee or coconut coffee is better. Inside is clean and pleasant to dine in.

I stopped here around 2 PM and there was no one inside. Obviously on Saturday around this time most people are at brunch, so I took great advantage of the fact that I would be able to have the restaurant to myself. The service was very friendly and nice. I ordered the Pho Bo with cooked beef. It came out less than 10 minutes later. This literally hit the spot for my full day of hanging out at the museum earlier and shopping ahead. The pho was very flavorful and they give you a hearty portion - definitely enough for leftovers. Even though it was so hot that I burnt my tongue, I could not stop slurping the delicious broth. The only thing I did not like about this dish was the fact that there was not enough meat. I do see that on the menu. There's a surcharge for extra meat in the soup, but I do feel like they were a little stingy on the tasty beef in my dish. The sprouts, basil, and jalapeños were fresh and they gave a good portion to add in. Overall, based on the delicious pho and great price I will be back for another visit.

The soft-spoken owner welcomes you like a member of the family and is more than happy to answer any questions and offer suggestions based on your preferences. I always get the Eggrolls to start, filled with chicken, veggies, and served hot and crispy with that appetizing sweet chili sauce on the side. We had a gang meet up that included Goldie, Jimmy, Lea, Loan and myself. We get together each month to try a new restaurant, and of course, to enjoy each other's company. It's been a while since I had a Vietnamese meal and when I go, I'm always stuck on ordering something of the Vermicelli variety. Yep! That's what I did on this day. First off, I have to say that quality of the fresh veggies - lettuce, carrots, cucumber, etc., along with peanuts, were the best in freshness status I've ever seen in just about any restaurant. Between the appearance and the taste, they stand alone in this category. I wasn't worried about having the rolls with this meal, so I chose the B1a - grilled shrimp and pork. As a full bowl, the appearance and quality of the toppings over the noodles was stellar. The pork was chewy, but not in the range of the impossible to deal with. Just something that people who have difficulty chewing might wish to be aware of. There were three large pieces of shrimp that were tasty but a tad overcooked - not enough in any way to drop my score. With the fish sauce mixed, along with the bowl, it turned out to be a fantastic meal! Loan recommended we visit Q-Cup Boba Tea and it was totally worth visit! I will say that Loan's, Goldie's, jimmy's and Lea's offerings looked pretty amazing as well. The sub sandwich and beef cuts on Jimmy's meal looked superb! May have to try that one someday. I'll let them tell you about their meal in their reviews. This is a fantastic ma and pa shop. It's basic in appearance, not the most highly rated in decor. But I'm sure anyone who visits will be happy when they leave. Our server was great - took awesome care of us. I encourage readers to put this restaurant on their bookmarks list! Recommend: HIGH

Everything we had was super tasty! Upon walking in, we were greeted immediately and seated. Our waitress and waiter (we had two) were super sweet, attentive, and cheerful. I missed eating home cooked Vietnamese food so we decided to come and enjoy a meal here. Everything was clean (floors, tables, and bathroom). We had the following: Grilled pork summer rolls: 8.5/10 - fresh, bright, and full of veggies, vermicelli, pork, and a crunchy roll inside. It was so delicious! I love summer rolls and this hit the spot! The peanut dipping sauce went so well with the rolls. I loved how the rolls had so many great textures. Pho dac biet (combination): 7.5/10 - the broth was alot more flavorful and it came with a generous amount of meat (beef balls, sliced beef, tripe) and lots of fresh veggies (lime, cilantro, jalapeno, mint, bean sprouts). Last time when we went, the broth was lacking flavor but now, it's pretty good. Beef combo plate w/rice: 8 - the beef was juicy, tender, and packed with flavor! The lemongrass flavor wasn't strong or overpowering and they give you a good amount of beef. It came with white rice and pickled veggies (daikon, cucumber, and carrots) and fish sauce. Again, super flavorful and I actually cleaned the plate! The only small critique was that I thought the meat was going to be like short ribs and the waitress confirmed it was, but it wasn't. Avocado smoothie: 8/10 - I love avocado smoothies and its hard to find a place that makes it right. Here, it was absolutely perfect! The avocado's flavor really shined. Most places would make it way too sweet and you can't taste the avocado. However, I was able to taste the fresh avocado and the sweetness was on point. Overall, I'm super happy about the improvements and will definitely be coming back! Glad there's an authentic Vietnamese restaurant not too far from us now!

I was hoping they'd update the inside a bit, maybe rearrange or remodel, but it pretty much looks the same, just with a different cuisine now. One downside was cleanliness. The floors and bathroom could definitely use more attention.

The decor and vibe definitely give Asian street market -- I loved the neon signs. Thomas was our server and he was friendly, quick, and attentive throughout. We ordered the Twice Fried Korean Wings, Bonchon, and Chili Crisp Cucumbers to share. The wings were delicious with the best crunch, almost like candied chicken wings. My only complaint is I expected more heat from the gochujang. The Bonchon is essentially a flight of pickled sides: sweet pickled cucumbers, sweet pickled carrots and daikon (similar to what you'd find on a Vietnamese banh mi), and a well-fermented kimchi with mild heat and great flavor. We also ordered the Hong Kong Wonton Soup, and thought we ordered "Chow Fun" noodles -- but "Chow Faan" is actually their fried rice dish. Word of caution: if you want their take on Chow Fun noodles, order the "Beef Haw Fun" instead. The star of the show was the Hong Kong Wonton Soup -- the broth was authentically Asian, distinctly different from a classic French-style broth built on onion, celery, and carrot mirepoix. It was so good we ordered another one to go and took it to our mom to enjoy. We will definitely be going back to try some of their other dishes.
