They did ask me to hold his hands which also allowed me to provide comfort while they cleaned and examined his teeth. Overall, it was a great first experience and went better than I expected. The front desk staff were friendly and polite. They were understanding since we were about ten minutes late checking in. The office is nicely decorated and very clean. It's new! I like new. They seem to be a good fit for us. Baby loved playing with the toys at their kiddie table and didn't want to leave after his appointment. Haha. If you need a pediatric dentist, give them a try. The dentists and hygienists are so patient and fun that my kids no longer hate going to the dentist. Also, I recently developed an ulcer on my tongue and they got me in the SAME DAY I called. Doctor Sarah Deeds covered all bases to make sure there wasn't anything further going on, explained what I could do to help my tongue heal, gave me prescriptions in case it came to that, and even gave me a referral to an oral surgeon in case my ulcer wouldn't heal. Then she called a few days later to check up on me! Talk about going the extra mile! We sure will miss our friends at The Children's Dentist when we move this fall.

Retainers should all fit same but in my case they didn't their was a noticeable difference in the shifting of my teeth depending on which retainer I wore. when I brought it to their attention, they said just wear the one I am most comfortable with. 3. I lost my retainers, so I went in to get a replacement. I was told to keep my molds in case of a ai loose them. To my surprise there were two top molds and no bottom. So if I wanted to get a replacement somewhere else, I couldn't. 4. It's been less than a month since I lost them and they are saying I have to get new molds, because they assume my teeth have shifted so much in a couple of weeks that they would not fit smh. I am very disappointed, but I have no choice but to go to them for the replacement. because if I go somewhere else without molds, they charge an arm and a leg SMH. If you choose this place, make sure you check your molds and stand your ground when it comes to your treatment.

She was distraught and sick for the remainder of the day. I do not like the idea that it is policy to drug the children then they insist on doing the procedure without parental supervision while these poor kids are drugged up. They also suggested putting caps on her baby teeth at the age of four. This has since cause issues with her new teeth coming in, two loose teeth for over a year and a half. When I took her in to get them checked they just told me to have her wiggle and twist them and they would come out on their own. Now this has resulted in her needing to get all four teeth with the caps pulled because they would not come out even though her new teeth were coming in behind them.

I found it to be informative and they contacted me almost immediately after leaving my contact information. My most important requirement was that his office use my insurance coverage, which he does. His office is in a lovely location that is easy access between Memorial Drive and Madison Street in Clarksville. His staff is always friendly and inviting and I rarely have a wait time. My assigned dental hygienist has become a friend and she is very, very thorough and helpful. Their reception and billing staff is always very personable and helpful. They are up on all the current technology and have several work stations for the variety of dental services they provide so you are not left waiting in the lobby for an open chair. Dr. Garrett himself is very friendly and knowledgeable and puts patients right at ease. They are very accommodating for patient's individual needs such as seat positioning during procedures (I cannot tolerate laying flat back) and I understand they can help with those who find dental cleanings and procedures unbearable. I see several happy children whenever I am there so his service is family friendly as well. When I got married, I added my husband on to my dental plan and he was able to get in as a new patient with ease. Dr. Garrett, our hygienist, Cyndi Fyke, and the staff was so very helpful during my husband's cancer treatment and became a part of his pre-radiation/chemo treatment and his ongoing care plan. Their assistance in his treatment plan truly helped in his long term recovery. As with all patients, they are diligent in their observations and recommendations for oral care and hygiene practice and do not try to get you to do unnecessary procedures and replace previous dental work unless it is medically necessary. I went to my re-scheduled pre-paid appointment today and they are charging me a $75 cancellation fee! For the FLU! I guess they'd rather we come in and get everyone sick. I have dental insurance, but for some reason it was showing in the system, that I still carried Tricare, which I haven't had since 2013. (This has all been taken care of) Claims had been filed and taken care of with my current insurance, and it was only certain claims that were being denied saying I had Tricare. There was a time that I needed a filling done on a tooth and the wrong one was numbed, he came in started doing something, which I felt he looked, saw the wrong tooth was numbed and then ended up not doing the said filling. ai had taken the day off of work to get this work done, and the day off was for nothing! Another tooth was meant to be a filling, something happened where it ended up to me having to pay for a root canal build up. I paid for the crown build up and a temporary crown was and still is in there (we'll get to this one again soon). The filling where the wrong tooth was numbed was my last straw. I couldn't take the anxiety of going in. I don't normally have high blood pressure, but when I would go in, it was so high! The techs would say stuff out of concern and cause it to go higher. Back to the tooth that ended up being a root canal and there being a temporary one... I left their practice, I go to a different place in Sango, and they're fantastic! We are trying to get approval through insurance for a crown for the tooth that the temporary one is on (a crown has been requested by 2 different doctors in this practice now) but insurance is saying that they've paid for that tooth's crown already at PFD. I've filed an appeal with my insurance, because no permanent crown has been placed! If this place (PFD) is saying they've done one, it's insurance fraud! Why would a crown be requested 2x if it hasn't been placed?!

That is when I found Patriot Family Dental, even though I was skeptical of them being a new facility, I decided to go with them. Not only were they able to schedule me that week(24 hours later) to replace it. They was able to do it during my first visit and have me in and out before I had to be at work. This was a huge deciding factor, in that unlike other dentists, who told me that I would have to make a 'new patient visit' and then come back at a different date to have it done. This wasn't an issue at Patriot Family Dental. The dentist is very personable and the front office staff (Natasha - obviously made an impression if I remember her first name ;), yet the first office staff is very down to earth and doesn't have the 'pressuring sales attitude' that is at some dental offices.
