Finally had a chance to check out Victoria Cocina Mexicana and it definitely lived up to the hype!…read moreThe restaurant is beautiful inside. Very clean with a really cool bar. One detail I loved was the collection of Mexico soccer jerseys on the wall. It was cool seeing the older jerseys from past World Cups. It gave the place a fun touch. The staff was incredibly welcoming and the food was amazing from start to finish. We started with the Mole Chips, which were delicious. The mole sauce was flavorful and the perfect way to kick off the meal. I ordered the entomatadas with scrambled eggs and they were great. Even though it was a hot day, I had to try their Chocolate Oaxaqueño since Oaxaca is famous for its chocolate and I'm glad I did. It was absolutely worth it. Everything was so good that I couldn't leave without dessert, so we ordered the Chocolate Tres Leches cake. It was the perfect ending to an amazing meal. Victoria Cocina Mexicana has officially earned a spot in my top five favorite restaurants in Tucson. I can't wait to come back and bring my friends and family so they can check it out too!

I asked for beans instead of rice, as I explained I don't like rice and onions inside the enchiladas. Got rice and no onions. I let the server know and she said sometimes they don't get her instructions right and brought me some beans. Not a tasty or a good meal. It was something I would expect in a high school cooking class. My wife order was snapper. I thought she enjoyed it. When we got to the car I said, "You enjoyed your meal?". She just roller her eyes. I was surprised. I don't know who the cook was but the food was not good and the service was so-so. This was the second time we have gone to this restaurant and the last, obviously.
