They have the front door, the one next to the handicap parking spot, is blocked off by a large wood something and there are signs saying "Use patio door". I'm handicapped and walk with two canes. In order to get into the store, I would have to walk all the way around the outside of the store go in their patio door, walk all the way across the restaurant to get to the location to place my order. I used to like Qdoba very much but today's visit proved to be my very last visit. I ordered a chicken protein plate and a side of ground beef and was completely shocked at how GREASY that beef was. Normally there's a tiny amount of oil left behind from the beef but this was over the top. Even after draining some of it twice-- there was still too much left over. And the oil was so overwhelming I couldn't even taste the spices in the meat as I normally would. Also the texture of the meat was not soft but rubbery and was not up to Qdoba standards. Unless they changed the recipe which is always a very bad idea. I don't know what the heck is going on with Q but no way I'm coming back. This was one of the worst food experiences I've ever had at a fast food chain restaurant. Ugh! It's 2 thumbs way down for Qdoba. read more

We used to have one of these where I lived as a kid. I loved coming here until it went out of business. I saw the sign and immediately had to stop by. I ordered my burrito and loaded it up. The steaks taste was great, the rest of the burrito wasn't that good. The white rice was soggy, and brown rice was as a little mushy. The salsa wasn't great either, the only redeeming quality was the queso but even that left a vomit flavored taste in my mouth(Probably had been sitting in the container for a few hours). The staff was super friendly and did a good job serving me and they had a fair amount of seating available. I want to try again because I remember it being so good but I don't know because it just really tasted bad. I will say they did do a good job loading up the burrito. read more

I don't like this location. There I said it and feel somewhat better. I stopped by here earlier this week and while the place was clean and chock full of bottles of my homegirl Cholula, the staff is a bit awkward. The first woman working the line barely spoke english so add in a loud atmosphere and me not hearing well and that was a just a mess. The next guy seemed annoyed that I wanted extra salsa on the side when I asked. He just gave me a "Really?" kind of look and I think he was the manager so yeaaaaah, not a good experience with the staff. The food though? Bomb as always. I love that they offer a Choose 2 option where you get the best of both worlds by offering nachos, tacos, quesadillas, soup and salad and you got it, you choose two of those. But the lackluster service and awkward location in the shopping center (right near the entrance with no stop sign for incoming traffic which makes it difficult to get to Qdoba) and parking lot kinda ruined the experience for me. read more

Employees had the entire counter pulled back and were doing cleaning rounds for the night. I have never felt less welcomed to any restaurant in my life. Terrible way to manage your store. Disappointed. I used to love this place. The old staff was more than kind. Never rushed me. New staff dont care about anything but talking trash. I believe the staff forgot we were in the reatruant and said some things that should not be said in front of customers. The food was thrown together. Un like other times when i have gone they cared about the presentation and quality. My food looked like something from McDonald's. When i was pregnant i ate there like every week. Now i feel like im over it and dont want to go back. I just hope they remember without customers they wont have a job. I treat everyone with respect but it took everythings in my power not to go up to them and remind them we are still in the building eating. A lot like Chipotle with the line - customize your order type restaurant. You can choose tacos, nachos, naked burrito, Mexican gumbo (soup) or a Mexican salad. There is a kid's meal (nachos, taco, burritto bowl or quesadilla) that comes with chips or applesauce; juice, milk or water. We, a family of four ate on 26$. They forgot to ring it up so they didn't give me a brownie. I reminded them and they gave me a surprised look like I never asked them for one. They offered to ring it up and give me a brownie after I already paid for the meal. I didn't take them up on it because there was a long line and I didn't want to take my card out again. Specifically for the Southgate location in Colorado Springs. I ordered online, hours in advance, so I could grab it quickly during my short lunch in between classes. My food was not ready when I got there, and when a worker asked me what my name was for her to check my order status, I told her, and she claimed they never got an order from me. I showed her my confirmation email and number, and she still blamed it all on me!! I understand that online ordering can have issues, but she was very rude and never explained or apologized for the situation. She told me she would get back to me and work on my order, but instead took orders from other customers. This was extremely frustrating because I ordered online so I could avoid the long lunch lines, but ended up waiting longer than anyone else! After being ignored, another worker set out some of the delivery service/online order bags, and mine was in that mix. Obviously the worker lied to me when she said they never received my order because they were able to make it even though no one had asked me in person. But even after all of that, they messed up the fillings on my order. None of the workers ever apologized, offered a coupon, or even acknowledged that they had made my order. After my experience, I had an email asking how my experience was, and I expressed my frustration, and marked the box saying that I would like to be further contacted to discuss it, and have not heard anything a month later. read more

Really impressed with this location. Mike and Roberto went above and beyond in customer service and friendliness. When I explained how much I like the new Macha salsa I was told it was being being launched in Colorado first on a trial basis and I was given a paper with a web-link to share my opinion on the new menu additions. I really appreciate being informed about this, because I want this salsa to stay. When I ask for two containers of macha salsa, they actually fill them full unlike the venetucci blvd location....lol. I've been here twice and I'll have to order again because I've had a good and not so good experience. The location is very clean and appealing. I order online because it's easier to sort out what my husband and I want. I've gotten the pick two both times. I LOVE the pick two option because you get two smaller options for $7. I get a burrito bowl and nachos. With the nachos they give you a bag of chips and the chips last through the nachos and the burrito bowl so it's great. My problem is the first time I ordered online I told them I'd pick it up immediately. My food was hot and waiting for me when I got there. The second time I ordered I told them I'd be there in an hour or so because I had some errands to run first. I got there a little before my time and I figured I might have to wait. But nope, my food was ready so I took it home. When I got home and started eating I realized that my food was on the cold side. It made me wonder if they even looked when I was picking it up or if they just made it as soon as they got the order. It was still delicious but I didn't appreciate cooling nacho cheese. Still they're always friendly and the food is good. Also unlike Chipotle they have a rewards card. You get free chips and salsa when you sign up and I think after 10 or 12 meals you get one free. read more

Aside from a phonetically absurd name, this is a tasty chain in the recently expanding trend in ethnic restaurants subscribing to the assembly line philosophy of food preparation. This particular one is clean with a nice staff. It's located in a heavily trafficked area, and always seems to be busy. There is a wide selection of salsas and toppings, but nothing to unfamiliar or thought provoking. The coolest thing about it is that it is about 400 feet from the front door of rival company Chipolte - which I assume is the food service equivalent of punching someone's wife in the face. If you are military, you can look forward to receiving a free drink if you are in uniform or present an ID - a definite plus. The niceness of the staff is in fact one of my complaints, because I am the type of person that just wants to order my food and eat it, not have a goddamn conversation about how my food tastes or that my decision to add habenero salsa to my poblano pesto is unique an interesting; just give me the damn burrito so I can shove it in my face and get back to hating myself. read more

I like this place for a quick lunch or dinner. There are more protein choices than many other fast food American Mexican restaurants, like pulled pork and brisket. They don't charge extra for guacamole, and they have a Coke freestyle machine. It's not gourmet food or anything, but I like it better than the similar chains. read more

Note: This happened in 2012...Had a taco salad here today. Absolutely horrible! Way too much lettuce with a tasteless dressing. The chicken was dry and tasteless as well. They gave a good size portion of it but nothing could save this fiasco. I called customer service (corporate) and was told I could get two coupons for entrees OR wait 4-6 weeks for a refund! Lol...lol..she failed to suggest the obvious which was to go back to the restaurant for a refund so I did. My recent visit to this Qdoba was one of the best customer service experiences I've ever had at any restaurant. The gentleman at the register (I think he's the owner) asked me by name about what I was working on that day- he had observed the business logo on my jacket and my name on my credit card. It felt like I was a regular- I am not but will surely be back. And it didn't stop there, when I dropped my entire tray of chips in the restaurant area he quickly assured me (using my name again) that he would take care of it as he handed me a new tray of chips. I know these are little things but I find that customer service these days is mediocre, so when a business takes extra steps to really care for it's customers they should be commended. I've been telling all my friends about this experience and encourage them to stop in there when in the neighborhood. :) read more

I love this place! Way better than chipotle in my opinion. The restaurant is very clean and organized. Serving sizes are good and I have always gotten friendly service! The steak on my nachos was cold when it came out. Instead of checking to be sure the warmer was working correctly, the employees just dumped another bag in with the cold stuff and asked if I wanted more. Lol no thank you. Went here last night and didn't even get acknowledged. There were two employees chatting with, laughing with, and fawning over a customer who had already paid, taking their sweet time chatting with her, and then telling her about some kind of fundraiser. During all of this, I was one of three people waiting to be served that didn't even receive so much as a glance, or the infamous, "I'll be with you shortly". Nothing. After several minutes I finally left. I do not use this word lightly, or at all come to think of it, but it truly seemed like discrimination was the reason that I and the other two customers were blatantly ignored.
