Had an AWESOME experience. Visited 10/27/22 around 5pm. A couple young men working and they they had smiles, engaged in conversation, and were quick and efficient. The food was good. The place was clean. Would definitely go back. In fact, my tummy is growling right now thinking about it. Major kudos to the young people who work in restaurants like this and probably don't make much more than minimum wage, but try. Their menu says that the kids nachos come with a drink and now they are not giving you a drink with the meal, they charge you. Food is great, service has been great! They have been pleasantly well staffed the last couple times we have been in. Now for my complaint.. it is always FREEZING when we go in, usually around 6 PM. We've been once a week for the last month and it is so uncomfortably cold that we rush through our dinner so that we can get out of there. They have 1 tiny space heater that does nothing. Scheduled me for an interview, no one was there when I came in at the time set. Came back the next morning, told they were overstaffed and he didn't even know why I was told to come to his store. My family and I have frequented this location for years and our children love it. Before today, we've always had pleasant experiences and enjoyed the food, friendly staff, and cleanliness of the restaurant. We've also ordered catering from this location and received fantastic service! Today I visited this location and realized my order was not quite what I anticipated. I went to the counter to request clarification and the general manager was horrible! The manager belittled and berated me when I requested clarification. It was ridiculous and embarrassing! We frequent this Qdoba a lot and have only had exceptional experiences. Great food, generous portions, and a very friendly inviting staff. The place is always clean and approachable. I can also vouch for the catering and will do that again whenever we have a big party. Only complaint is they sometimes forget the "salsa on the side" with the online orders but I feel that is common with all food establishments. Would choose this place over chipotle any day. read more

Well today might be it for me for this QDOBA. They have been doing good but today was TERRIBLE. The service was better this time but to food was gross. When I unwrapped my burrito I could just smell the burnt tortilla but I paid for it and was starving so I still tried to eat it. Imagine eating a burnt tortilla and then continually tasting burnt chicken as well. The entire meal just turned me off. I think I am all out of chances with this place. What a shame! read more

My boyfriend and I Always like the food here and come here quite often! Although for some reason today the girl up front is on the phone on her AirPods and having a full conversation with someone on the phone while taking our order. Whatever got over it, then she forgets about my boyfriends quesadilla and it gets burnt and she just keeps talking on the phone on the phone and doesn't say anything as we wait and it burns. Another guy got it out and apologized and she just stared and didn't say anything but whatever continue with youre phone call hun. This restaurant was so bad that I quit going for months, although it was the closest one to my house. The service was horrible, they were always out of items and the place was plain dirty. Under my protests, my son asked to try again. I relented and was pleasantly surprised! The new manager was super attentive, service was great and the restaurant was spotless. I will not make that mistake again. Despite the fact that my friend and I arrived at 11:30, the chicken in my burrito bowl was cold and dry. The black beans and brown rice weren't much better. His quesadilla was okay. The workers are friendly enough and the place was clean, but I can't tolerate mediocre food. I loved Qdoba when they first came to NC. It was one of my favorite restaurants. Sadly they have gone down hill and this particular one was never as great as the ones around town. After having a horrific meal more than a year ago, I decided to take a chance because every time I drive by I want the food like it used to be. So today I stopped and got a burrito bowl with brown rice, fajita veggies, chicken, cheese, salsa verde and guacamole. The service was five stars. The people greeted me on my entrance, were pleasant and helpful. Now to the burrito bowl, it wasn't bad. I've had horrible meals at this Qdoba before. I would give it a strong 3.5 stars. Not perfect but satisfied I got my Qdoba fix. How could it have been better? It seems like they have cut back on the seasoning on the chicken and veggies. The beans were good, the guacamole tasted decent but I was a little worried as it was not bright green and fresh looking and I ordered at 11:40, so I was in before the lunch rush. I would say they were a little skimpy on the amount of chicken but gave me plenty of rice for two meals. The chicken burrito I had was less than half the normal size and completely bland.The guy making it was scraping the bottom of the rice, beans and pico to get less than a scoop. I love restaurants that are clean and smell like food! lol Unfortunately, this was not the case the other day at this location. It smelled like sewage! Sewage smell typically occurs when there is a crack in the drain. Since my son loves Qdoba, and outdoor seating was an option we ate outside. Also, the tables and floor were dirty with food and debris every everywhere with no help in sight! lol The outdoor tables were not much better, (nothing that my Clorox wipes in car can't handle).! lol There were two employees in the entrance way to the kitchen area who were just talking, oblivious to the need to clean! Back-in-the-day when my kids were small, this was the place to go, especially on the weekends after recreational games at the Y. Their customer service however was pleasant. They appeared to do the best they could. One gentleman had excellent manners, but that doesn't keep a restaurant clean. I called one of "managers" today to make them aware of the sewage, table and floor as an FYI. It would be a good idea if they designated someone to clean, staff permitting. I will give them another chance and come at another time. To be honest, I would prefer a clean environment over average food any day. I've gone there multiple times and had my burrito looking more like a ball than anything resembling a burrito. Half the time I go there, the employees are just standing around which makes it weird that their supplies are ALWAYS low. They try to scrape the bottom of a crusty queso pan instead going to get a fresh one. Just a horrible place to eat. You're better off driving to the one in the Arboretum. I have been going to Qdoba for years. My last experince may be my last at the Siskey location. I had to wait for them to cook chicken, then there was the issue of no rice or queso in the bins and had to wait for those to be replenished. The queso was cold after waiting 30 minutes to get my food. The store was not busy so I don't understand why the bins were not replenished and food warm. tThe floor was covered in food and trash cans overflowing. Manager needs to spend some time on the evening shift. read more

I rarely write Yelp reviews, but I was astounded at the rating and reviews I read for this place, so I'm making an exception. Worst in Charlotte?!! No way. This is our favorite QDoba in Charlotte! We eat there frequently and have ordered catering from them. They have never, ever disappointed us. The dining room is always clean, the food is consistently good. Someone on the staff generally remembers us and greets us accordingly. We have a fifteen-year-old autistic daughter, and they couldn't be more patient and accommodating with us. Furthermore, they often participate in fundraiser nights for our elementary school. We come back time and time again, and we will continue to do so. None of the employees wore a mask or face covering, did not practice social distancing by stay at least 6 feet from other people, customers were forced to go inside and wait to pick up order which they had to find on a table (if it was ready, we waited 1 hour for an order that was supposed to be ready in 16 minutes), and the time I was in there did not see any employee disinfect and clean work spaces and equipment. Not the best location at all. No one in this store listens when you make a point to ask for a small amount of beans on your food. I've tried saying just a little bit, like half a spoon full, etc. and every time they just slop it in there so heavy the burrito is a soggy mess. I don't have this issue at the other location off Matthews township. It's like they don't listen specifically to that part of your order - even when you point it out.
