I used to work right by the Qdoba on 72nd St, so had it a bunch of times with coworkers, as they always liked to go there for lunches out and about. I hadn't had it in a long time, and recently was sort of craving it, so investigated and saw that there is one close to where I now live (and work, as a remote employee). So we decided to make our way to this Qdoba on 120th. It was very clean, bright, and open feeling - so we ordered at the front and grabbed a table. The staff was nice, but a little bored seeming, with the interior a little quiet of customers (just us and one other table). But they made our food just right, and that was the only important part. I had the three tacos with steak, corn, and sour cream. And my husband and I split the Mexican Street Corn, which was tasty and had a lot of cheese and queso on top. Now, I'm not sure if this is just because I hadn't had Qdoba for a long time, but it messed up my stomach REALLY bad - like curled up with stomach cramps bad. So while all the items we had at Qdoba were pretty flavorful and high quality, I don't think I will be retuning for a while, since it was not doing my stomach any favors! read more

Been awhile and typically I enjoy Qdoba. I actually prefer it over Chipotle by far. Went here for lunch today and decided to get the steak rice bowl. I never get rice bowls but I wanted to try something different. It was so good. I've always liked their steak there and that's what I got today. My rice bowl was perfect today. Also got chips and queso as a side with to share with my party I was with. We both enjoyed it. Though it kinda of reminded me of a thick broccoli and cheese soup, lol. It was ok though. The bag of chips was huge too. The guys working there today were quick and polite and appreciated. I'm gonna go back here soon...... it was too good not to have again soon. Hehe. read more

Let's be honest - I order Grubhub from here WAY too often. This review is basically based on Grubhub orders. I have eaten inside the restaurant a few times, at it is always a great experience. The restaurant itself is clean and service is quick. My order is always correct here and I typically get my order in less than 30 minutes, even during dinner and lunch rush. I actually prefer Qdoba anymore over Chipotle. I get a custom burrito bowl or burrito each time. (I have favorites saved on Grubhub.) Service was great and super fast even with a line. We got a few coupons and really enjoyed eating here. I like Qdoba more than Chipotle because ingredients are free, so I can pile on all the extras and not break the bank. I had a steak bowl with white rice, black beans, spicy queso, guac, sour cream and cheese. We had a coupon for chips and salsa but we never got a great chance to dig in because you get so much food. Two and a half stars, but rounding up since they were fast, friendly and maybe I didn't choose the right ingredients. Had fire-roasted shrimp and guac burrito thanks to marketing effort. Not much fire in the combo I chose, but again I might not have had the right mix. Shrimp were, well, shrimpy. Also had steak burrito. Steak was overcooked. Not that this place deserves another single minute of my time, but if anyone is ordering food for take out through the app during covid19, as we are instructed to do - BE WARNED!!! The wait time to receive your order is a LIE, the staff are entirely overwhelmed, social distancing DOES NOT exist in here -- I counted 84 people at one point all waiting inside crowded in two small areas waiting on their orders. We ordered from outside at 6:19. The parking lot appeared optimistically quiet. My confirmation email stated 6:28pm. At 6:28, I went inside the side door only to find a group of 20+ people waiting on their mobile orders. After 15 minutes, one person in line insisted on a status of his order. They stated he was next in line. When it came to my attention that he had ordered 30 minutes before me, I felt like it would be safer to wait outside for another 30 minutes or so ... I noticed that the line for in store ordering was moving steadily along while the order ahead door never opened except to people stepping INSIDE to wait. By the time I went back in there, it was a cluster-f. Several grub hub guys were in there frustratingly asking for status updates, I noticed that the in store ordering line mostly now consisted of people upset about their mobile order. Again, they had 84 people in their store at this point!!! Not one person wore a face mask and people were crowded into two small sections as the dining area had been roped off. Even though it had been over an hour since we ordered, I felt like other people "had it worse then us" so I tried not to complain. When I asked for an update, the staff member was extremely rude and agitated (as I would be if I was her) The few staff members working the line looked as if they were about to walk out. She stated that we were being handled on a first come, first serve basis, but let me tell you - when I got to the front of the line EVENTUALLY - they had OVER 75 tickets scrambled everywhere - taped to every surface, the walls, laying on the floor and in just the few minutes an employee was looking for our ticket, 3-4 more tickets came out of the machine - entirely neglected. She never could find my ticket. If I hadn't gone through the order in store line, I would have sat there until after they closed tonight. The tickets were NOT BEING prioritized in anyway whatsoever and the staff treated me like I was trying to get away with a free meal!! No apologies whatsoever!! We ordered at 6:09 and finally walked away with our order at 7:45. read more

I like this location and am there a lot. I am tired of getting burned quesadillas to go. It is sneaky to box a burned quesadilla as if it is good. Actually, it is not honorable to send out a burned quesadilla. They are not just scorched. They are burned. Usually I catch it as i can smell it. I I have had this happen at least 4 times. My solution, find a different place or inspect everything before I pay for it. Anyone getting to go, take a look at it to make sure everything is edible. What I got tonight was not. read more

Ordered a to go order. It was ready 7 minutes later when I arrived. The order was accurate but the nachos were cold and soupy. Chips were on the side so they were fine but lacked any salt. The soup bowl that should have been nachos was disgusting. Hardly any chicken either. Ordered a side guac which was black. I noticed during my pickup the one door entry. The reason I noticed it was because I had to wait to leave as people entered. I thought to myself, 'oh, so Chipotle figured that out.' I've eaten here twice at this location and have been very disappointed twice. Probably why I usually choose almost any other Mexican food location. I could honestly eat Qdoba everyday. Unfortunately if I did, you'd see me on an episode of "My 600 lb Life." I love that you can add queso and guac to any meal for no additional charge. Granted, I'm sure it's already factored into the price, but hey, it makes me feel like I'm getting a deal. I have yet to try anything on the menu that I didn't like, though I do prefer the cilantro lime rice to the brown. My favorite lunch is a steak queso burrito bowl with guacamole. The quality is consistently good, and the service is speedy. The app is a little clunky to use, but the staff is usually quick to help me with it. I am a fan for life, just in moderation! read more

Solid option for a fast casual Mexican meal. Build your own style like subway and many other similar restaurants. Choose from bowl, burrito, tacos, and taco salad. I have tried everything here a few times all pretty good quality and great tasting food. I also like there rewards card system and the ease of the app on your phone you can use. Not at all impressed. Last night I got a Crave 2 with two chicken tacos and a cup of chicken tortilla soup. I had to repeat myself a few times to the surly girl making my food because she was busy listening to her coworkers behind her. They charged me an extra $1.19 for guacamole and put the teeniest amount on each. The girl forgot to put the tortilla strips on top of my soup (uh, it's in the name!), and I couldn't get anyone to help me because they'd all gone to the back to talk to a coworker who had stopped by with her kid. It was right at 5, so they should have been ready for the dinner rush, and yet I was forced to eat at a dirty table because there weren't any clean ones. I mean, it was obviously dirty, with a stack of napkins on it and cheese on the chair. (When I went home and checked their nutrition, guacamole is supposed to add 45 calories per taco; that's equivalent to 2 tablespoons. There's no way there was even 1 tablespoon on each.) Almost $11 for bad service and skimpy food? There are way too many other restaurants just in that same plaza; I won't be back. read more

I always have some sort of issue when I come to this location. I love qdoba, specifically their smothered burrito. I strongly prefer wheat tortillas over flour, but for some reason, Qdoba doesn't make wheat tortillas in the smothered size. There has never been an issue when I ask for what I want at any other location, but here, the employees make a huge to do about it. I know I'm ordering something a little different, but it's never an issue anywhere else. Normally the person has no problem or just looks at the coworker to make sure it's ok. Here, they explain that this isn't how the burrito was meant to be served... I'm sorry but when your sign says I can order my burrito how I want it, there shouldn't be an issue. Ordering just never gone smoothly at this location. On a side, I went to this location on a few occasions 5 minutes after they were supposed to open and the doors were still locked. The employees would see me but keep doing whatever they were doing rather then come unlock the door. read more

The fajitas are great- love them served hot and able to make them yourself with ingredients you prefer. Had a choice of corn or flour tortillas. Wish we'd had room to have dessert. I am normally a Chipotle person, but I was in the area for errands, so I thought I'd give it a whirl. I had the two-fer meal--chicken tacos and beef nachos. Now, let's be real here--this isn't real Mexican food, not even close. It is a step above Taco Bell/Taco Mayo/Taco Bueno. But, you're not gonna mistake this for abuelita's home cooking. But, in a pinch, it's okay. The chicken tacos were a little gooey, like the meat was fatty or something? The nachos were good though. I liked them and would eat them again. I ordered delivery several weeks ago, and added queso and chips, but it was not included and I was charged. When I called the store they offered to give 3 free entrees as a coupon. I went in to redeem the coupon and the manager lady screamed at me saying "qdoba would never do anything like that why do you think we would do that!" I have never been treated like that by another adult in my life. I was shocked that she was so hostile, when I thought she would be apologetic for them messing up my order in the first place. I wouldn't have expected a free meal if they had not offered the coupon, so I don't see we why it was such a big deal to the manager. i work Nearby, a friend loves Qdoba quesadillas and i stopped in- Qdoba is located towards the back of all the restaurants at 120th and Blondo- cattycorner to Kum and Go- there is parking up front and Qdoba are fast and friendly. i ordered a steak quesadilla with pico - the guac and sour cream are served with.. and it was a under $10 stuffed with steak and melting cheese stuffed delicious quesadilla experience. if you are a quesadilla fan- check theirs out! read more

I go to this location and the quality is always good and never have had a costumer service issue. Today I called to place an order. I was on speaker phone because I was driving and did not use the app. I was told to use the app to place an order. I ask to not use the app and can I just place the order. I was told there was no wait, so just come in and place the order. I asked again why Craig could not just take my order on the phone and have it ready for me to pick up? He would not. Solid three stars for fast food. Just like all the rest I have been to, which isn't bad. Consistent food, and a good value in my book. While my wife and daughter prefer a bowl, I am of the opinion that a big ol' burrito is the way to go! Load me up with some steak, beans, spicy salsa, shredded and melted cheese, topped off with some hot sauce at the table, and I am good to go. Come in hungry, leave with a full belly.
