My partner and I came in for lunch today. I ordered a chicken bowl with brown rice and black beans. My partner ordered a salad with pork and black beans. One nice thing about Qdoba is that all the fixin's are included in the price. And they aren't shy about filling the bowl with as many items as you like. I enjoy the dusted veggies and pickled onions (among other things). My partner's favorites are the queso, pickled onions and guac (among others). Comfortable seating. Free refills on soft drinks. Cool salsa music playing over the PA. Music is a bit loud. Servers were efficient and friendly. Decent price for a tasty, filling bowl. read more

Went in there for the first time with my dad. The lady who took our order was super kind (and even gave me more chicken than I asked for but didn't charge extra for it ). And the portions! I appreciate how Qdoba prepares fresh ingredients and flavorful spices, however the location on Frederick Rd is somewhat difficult to arrive to if you're coming from North of Rockville. You would have to make a left at the intersection of Frederick and Shady Grove Rd then another U turn to pass by the Checkers. This location is very spacious and clean, utensils and napkins always stocked, and there's always an employee greeting you once you come to the food counter. I've been here multiple times to enjoy their filling burrito bowls (without the tortilla) & they are pretty generous with the portion sizes.. I definitely was stuffed! read more

Qdoba never fails when food. Clear menu, good taste, proper volume on music, clean tables and very attentive and friendly staff. Highly recommended if you are in the area and want something good, fast and full of flavor. They also have catering and as a bonus, they set up everything at your event(s), yes, I read that inside the location as an ad flier. Right now they have a new item on the menu called "Mexican Street Corn" a must try thing. You won't regret, I promise you. Sad this trip they didn't have red salsa (Tapatio) glass bottles*. This location gave me the biggest problem. I placed an order for uber eats pick up & the young lady behind the register had the worst attitude . I half told her I came in for and order from uber eats & instantly asked for a code I tried showering her the order details and name of order. I haven't eaten Qdoba in years and I cannot believe I'm saying this but it's so much better than Chipotle. Even their rewards program is tremendously much more generous. I like Chipotle too, it's closer to my house and I feel like there's many more locations but a nice meal at Qdoba can really top off those Mexican food cravings! This is probably one of the best locations in Montgomery County. The employees are friendly, the restaurant is clean and the food itself is always fresh. For those who never had Qdoba, It's a similar line-up to Chipotle where you place your order and line up against the rows of ingredients available to your choosing. For me, I generally go with a chicken burrito bowl and black beans. From there on, it's really up to your liking of what you put into your bowl but honestly there's nothing there that I dislike. I also ordered a side of chips with salsa, guacomole and queso. I'm not a huge queso fan, but it was pretty darn good. Reminded me of cheese nachos that you get from the movies! A complaint I do have though is that their chips are a bit lighter and much more fragile. I feel like whenever I eat them, they just break as I'm dipping them into whatever side I'm eating them with. Otherwise, it's a great balance of salt and crunch together. When I was in college, I would used their Student ID discount almost weekly just because it was a great deal for a meal and so convenient to my apartment at the time. For those not in school, there's an app-rewards program that lets you accumulate points for free meals, sides or drinks. I went with my sister and her fiance' on Monday around 9:20 PM and it was pretty dead inside. Although it was close to closing and it was a weekday, I would have expected more diners coming in. The interior of the restaurant is clean, but just a few of the tables were a bit dirty. It was also a bit dimly lit but they do have televisions surrounding the establishment so it's nice to watch something while you eat. Qdoba is one of my favorite places to eat when I am craving Mexican food ( they have seating inside and outside). I love that the guacamole is free with your meal!!! The food is always fresh and don't get me started with the mild queso sauce, sooooo GOOD. They have taco Tuesday every Tuesday for MC/MCPS students ( as long as you have your school ID) , you get whatever you order for $5 (burrito or bowl comes with drink) I always get tortilla in a bowl with chicken , white rice , black beans , tomatoes, corn , extra lettuce, sour cream , queso and guac on the side (describing it alone has gotten me craving some lol) My only issue with them is there customer service. In the past, I was the biggest fan of Chipotle and absolutely hated Qdoba. Thankfully my taste palette expanded and now I am Qdoba's #1 fan and everything at Chipotle tastes like nothing to me. As good as the food at Qdoba is, this is the only location I'd ever go to to get anything from. I've tried the location at CP and their location in Woodbridge; both of them had stale rice and old food that left me with an upset stomach. Qdoba has so many toppings, enough to satisfy every flavor profile. I like things on the spicy side so my go-to order is a burrito bowl with the tortilla inside, brown side, chicken [but if I'm feeling bougie, I'll get steak], black beans, a few pieces of fajita peppers, diablo queso, habanero salsa, shredded cheese, lettuce, chopped onion and chopped fresh jalapenos. I'll also ask them to top it off with salsa verde and sour cream. Although they don't charge extra for guac, I've noticed that their guac has too much lime juice for my liking so I always skip it. On Tuesday, they have student ID specials but since I am not a student anymore, I just pay through the app that lets me collect points and redeem them for food later. There is a language barrier sometimes with most employees which I don't mind at all because even so, they don't mess up your order but I do notice that everyone is a little frazzled during lunch time. They are trying to get the line to move fast but only then do they mess up people's orders because they don't listen and start adding stuff to your meal before you can get a word in BUT anytime I've seen that happen, they almost immediately re-make their food for them. read more

After the horrible service at the Silver Spring QDOBA where they cheat you out of your serving size and only favor Latin customers, I was pleasantly surprised to see that this QDOBA in Rockville does the complete opposite. The serving size was generous, they gave you the right amount of meat without having to ask for a second serving and they were very friendly. The food here also tasted better than other Qdoba's. It tasted fresher and had more flavor than the other locations. I loved that we can sit inside or outside. Overall a great place to eat. The fact that they're generous with the chicken and steak servings along makes me want to give it 5 stars. Keep up the great work! Im always down for some Mexican food but I'm no longer down for QDOBA. Yesterday was my first and last time at this location. I stopped in for breakfast on Tuesday and was not impressed. As other reviews mentioned-the interaction with staff is almost nonexistent. Before visiting I called to find out how long breakfast went to. The woman on the food was not very friendly and I felt like an inconvenience. Once I arrived I wasn't greeted and staff just stood there. Eventually I ordered a small egg and potato burrito. I attempted to get rice and was told it would be an extra $2... the burrito itself was only $4 so how is a small scoop of rice $2? I passed and realized I probably should've went else where. The woman making my burrito kept trying to put other things on my burrito than what was wanted. When I would say 'no' she asked if I was sure lol. When it came to taste, there was little to be desired. The potatoes were soggy and clearly not fresher. The eggs appeared slightly over done. My burrito had queso but ended up being very wet without any rice. I fully understand that my burrito was only $4 but it was a waste of $4. I wouldn't return for breakfast due to taste. I also wouldn't return for lunch/dinner due to my experience with staff. This location needs a training in customer service and to rethink the rice up-charge. read more

In my opinion Chipotle does not have anything on Qdoba. Their ingredients are always fresh and the service is quick and the prices are affordable. I have not experienced any discolored, black or gross guacamole from Qdoba. Keep it up and you have a customer for life! read more

We love Qdoba. However, the staff on site tonight (9/6/21 @ about 6:50pm) were rude and the lady making our food messed both burritos up by not paying attention. When asked to put light amounts of toppings and she put double. My burrito was 80% pico making it uneatable. When I told her to stop because I said light she sarcastically added light cheese when I said extra. I did ask for more cheese but gave up when she put tiny amounts on at a time. We didn't want to say anything and have the food thrown away so we paid and left. As we paid the person running the cash register put our order in and walked away so we finished on our own. So I love Qdoba, but this location gave me a bad taste in my mouth figuratively speaking. The manager handled things appropriately at the end. I still will prefer the location on Tech Road in Fairland, Dobbins Center in Columbia, or some other locations. I was in a bit of a rush. My phone was low on memory for a while and kept having to delete apps and re-download them as necessary. Thankfully, I've taken care of the memory problem with my phone. So, I re-downloaded the Qdoba app, but I was having trouble logging in. I told the cashier, who acted like she could care less. Since I didn't want to waste time, and there was a guy behind me ready to pay, I handed her my credit card. Meanwhile, I was able to login, and she rudely says you have to do that before you pay. I told her that I want the points, and she did the transaction again. As I'm enjoying my delicious chicken bowl, I happened to notice on the receipt that I was charged for the steak price! I was livid! Now, I storm out of the booth to the cashier to tell her. I'm having to waste more time and was in a hurry. She voids the steak and charges for the chicken instead, and there was no apology from the cashier with the attitude. I wanted to complain to the manager, but I like being punctual for my date (or really anything)...first date was a 1-star, but that's another story. So, I decided to not talk to the manager and call after I left. I spoke with the manager explaining everything. She apologized. She initially offered a free meal next time, and I told her it will probably be a long time before I'm ever at your location again. Can you just void the credit card purchase completely? She agreed; I gave her the receipt #. I checked my credit card bill, and I was not charged for this Qdoba meal. Customer service here sucks. They'll just stand there waiting for you to speak and order. They won't even ask what you want in your order they'll just continue walking the line starting at you. One time I came here someone behind the counter said a few comments in Spanish...obviously she didn't realize I spoke fluent Spanish until I said my entire order in Spanish and then the look on her and her buddy's face was pretty priceless. As far as the food, it's not "authentic Mexican" I'd say more "Mexican American." Same idea as chipotle but with a different taste. Their prices aren't great just like chipotle. Qdoba is way much better than chipotle. Chipotle fell off years ago! Qdoba has fresh ingredients. They don't charge extra for guacamole. It's free. They have smoked brisket, steak, and other protein. Their salad is great. I like their outdoor patio and the way it is set up. I wish there were more QDOBA around. The staff is friendly too. They give extra sour cream. I asked for one small and one regular breakfast bowl. When I got to the counter it was $22 when the price on the board said $4.25 and $7.25. Everything was out then and the person who was putting the food In bowl did not let me know that rice and beans were not included. It's my first time getting breakfast at this location and never had a problem at the location in silver spring. If that was the case then they should have let me know. In the end they still overcharged me for 2 regular bowls instead on 1 small and 1 regular. Should be able to educate your customer and let them know in the beginning instead of getting a surprised bill at the end.Never returning to this location again. I used to love qdoba but my last visit was terrible. The meat was so old it was crunchy around the edges.

The rating would have been a 2 if not for the major issue caused by the manager and cashier. It was our first time here visiting Qdoba in the local area. We received a coupon in our mail and decided to try it. We walk over and in, a small line awaits, we notice they have TV screens on each side tuned into the weather channel which was fine. The floor was unkempt but okay for a Friday evening. We decided to use the 2-for-1 entree coupon and so we ordered. I got the vegetarian burrito which was average and Ji ordered a brisket quesadilla and a steak taco along with a single drink for us both. We order and we check the receipt because it seems that we are being charged full price. We ask where is the discount. The cashier does not speak English and turns to the manager who comes over, looks at the receipt, asks us which coupon we were using, which we couldn't show because the cashier took the entire mailing with all 3 coupons on it and threw it in the pile, not giving us back the other 2 remaining coupons. So we ask for the coupon mailing back and the manager looks at it. She then precedes to say "Oh, I understand. The machine does this. It takes off the one that costs less." Then she stared at us, doing nothing. Okay, we thought, well, correct this. The coupon was 2-for-1 for entrees, not a side taco. She then says "You can order anything else for free." That is not what we wanted, nor what we asked for or what the coupon stated. We certainly were not the first ones to use this coupon, so why didn't the manager fix this? It is not up to the 'machine'. We believe there was something more going on behind the scenes. To quickly diffuse the situation, I simply ordered the chips so we could move on with our dinner. We noted there was no receipt for this second, new order. This should have been about food. It was average but overshadowed by this negative issue between the cashier and the manager. Why have I been hating on this place for so long? My HH (handsome husband) and I have been passing by this location for a year, seeing how seemingly empty it was and questioning how they stayed in business.
