What a great find! As I reviewed the menu I noticed that the cashier was greeting several people by name. It was such a welcoming environment and I immediately wanted to try more than I originally intended. I ended up trying the amazing london broil sandwich, delicious and chewed oatmeal raisin cookie and the tasty arnold palmer with fresh brewed hibiscus tea. I loved all of it. Thursday 10/31/24 Found out about this spot through a Reddit post and I'm glad I did. It's only open on weekdays and it's located in the center of office/busniess buildings so it kinda felt odd but it worked out in the end. I made a takeout order via toast and got the London broil $11.55 and the picante chicken $9.95. Both of the sandwiches were served on ciabatta rolls and toasted. The London broil was amazing as I thoroughly enjoyed it with every bite. The picante chicken has a slight spice flavor to it but it was just alright. Overall, that London broil sandwich was special. I would think nearly $12 for a sandwich is crazy but this one is definitely worth it. read more

This is an example of why I like Yelp. I was looking for a sandwich place near my Rockville meeting site and this and one other shop a couple of miles away showed up. I'm so glad I found Bon Fresco. Got two sandwiches for take-out: Curry Chicken - delicious sandwich, with peppers, raisins and a nice curry flavor. Got the optional toasting of the ciabatta bread, tomato slices ($.20 extra) and greens. The bread was delicious and toasting enhanced it. Picante Chicken - nice sized piece of chicken breast, pepper jack cheese, grilled veggies, caramelized onions, roasted red peppers, picante sauce on a warmed ciabatta. Delicious. Had to try their signature London broil sandwich. The beef was cooked medium and sliced very thin. It was tender and juicy (was not stringy or grisly). The arugula and onions complemented the meat well. The ciabatta bread tasted freshly baked. It was flaky on the outside and slightly chewy on the inside and held the sandwich well. It was not rubbery or hard like some supermarket ciabattas. The sandwich (wrapped well in paper) came warmed and had a melt-in-your-mouth quality. The Mediterranean salad with grilled chicken and lentils had crunch, textures and freshness. Plenty of greens, roasted red peppers, mozzarella, shaved cheese slices, banana peppers and hummus rounded out the dish. The chicken itself was warm and tender (no hint of dryness). The salad also came with a warm mini-ciabatta. Lastly the chocolate chip cookie for dessert was a great final touch. Boy oh boy...my life was changed when I finally got to try the London Broil sandwich. It's the only sandwich I crave and I'm not even a sandwich fan. How can bread be so perfect and delightful as the ones served at Bon Fresco? The ciabatta has a nice crunchy crust (not the break your teeth type) contrasting with very soft and fluffy inside. The steak, provolone, greens, onion, dijonaise, and ciabatta work well together to create this perfect sandwich. I'm jealous of anyone who works at one of the three tall buildings surrounding Bon Fresco. I'd probably stop by every day for lunch/dinner if I were them. read more

My colleague and I met here to catch up for lunch. It was my first time at this location. I have been to the one in Columbia. I found a Local Flavor offer, $10 for $20 worth of casual dining. I was on the fence about the Ham & Swiss or the Picante Chicken. I asked the server which she preferred. She preferred the chicken, but said the Ham & Swiss was more popular. She said the picante sauce had a hint of spiciness so I decided not to get it since I can't handle spiciness. I typically don't like dijon mustard so I should have asked if she could replace it with another condiment. The bread was fresh, but the sandwich was not very filling. I got a cookie too and wasn't very full when I was done eating. The cookie was the highlight for me. The cookie was soft and the chocolate chips were semi melted and gooey. Yum! Masks are required prior to entering and your temperature is taken if you dine in. The server was friendly and the restaurant was clean. Currently there is limited seating. read more

Was craving sandwiches one day, stumbled upon Bon Fresco, and wow, it did not disappoint! After reading lots of reviews praising the London Broil sandwich, I decided to go with that and it's as good as people say. The bread is divine -- soft but crispy at the same time. The steak is thinly sliced and a perfect medium rare. Lots of flavor as well (I added olive tapenade). The size of the sandwich is hefty and will definitely get you full, for a reasonable price too. I also tried the tomato soup which was good as well. My husband ordered the Corned Beef sandwich which was also yummy, but not comparable to the London Broil. This is my go to breakfast and lunch spot at work. I like their bacon egg and cheese sandwich and also enjoy their pastries especially the chocolate croissants, scones and coffee crumple cake. For lunch, the London broil sandwich and turkey sandwiches are great, but I usually get their salads like their chicken Caesar salad and build your own salad bowls. You can't beat their fresh daily made breads for their sandwiches. I think that is what sets this place apart from the other office delis. The service is fantastic and staff is very friendly. A little hard to find, but worth the effort. Bon Fresco is located off Gaither Road in a business complex. Turn in where you see the Redland sign. I passed it a few times. The breads are made in house and my blueberry scone was the best I have ever eaten. It was scrumptious. I ordered the Caesar salad and added chicken. It was delicious. My only complaint was there was a huge portion of croutons. I would rather have more chicken and salad. The dressing was fresh and tasty. The people who work there were nice and helpful. Love that they opened a location near my office. Not walking distance, but easy to get to by car. There's plenty of parking as this is in the middle of office buildings, and they have a few parking spaces right up front. Love that they have mini sandwiches for under $5. You can pair it with a small size soup for an additional $2. Great price point for lunch and the portions are just right for me. I enjoy the pesto chicken sandwich. There's lots of flavor to go with their fresh baked breads. I've had the mushroom vegetable and tomato saffron soups. But are very good and loaded with flavor. I could easily make a meal out of a large serving of soup with some of their bread. I picked up a blueberry scone the other day and it was yummy. Moist, airy and loaded with blueberries! For lunch, my tot and I had: London Broil - Generous portions of steak around greens, diced red onions, a dijon mayo, and a lightly crunchy ciabatta bread. This was a solid sandwich. Soup of the Day (Vegetable Soup) - Tomato-based soup. Vegetables were chopped up unevenly, which meant the zucchini was smushier than the cauliflower and cabbage, which had nice "bites" to them. A tad of a kick. This soup was ok. Maybe the fam hyped this place up too much because Bon Fresco's Is good, but not amazing. Place is modern, clean, with friendly staff. Welcome to the area Bon Fresco! I'm pretty sure I will find myself here often for lunch considering it's around the corner from the office. It's located in between office buildings and easy to spot once you're inside the parking lot. I totally bombed my lunch order today and mistaken the red pesto to the basil pesto. My mistake for not reading it carefully but regardless of the mess up the pesto chicken sandwich was decent. If it had less of the sun dried tomato spread, more caramelized onions, and added greens it would be perfect. The bread was soft, fresh, and crunchy around the edges. I tried a little bit of my friend's curry chicken salad and it was delicious! I might have to get that in a sandwich form next time. They also offer breakfast sandwiches, salads, soups, bowls, and pastries. Pleasant customer service, plenty of seating, and outdoor seating are available. Checked out this lunch spot recently, and it's a hidden gem! It's tucked away in an office plaza but the location is big and spacious and also was very clean/safe during COVID. I tried the London Broil sandwich and the Picante Italian sandwich - both very delicious and reasonably priced. The London Broil is similar to a philly cheesesteak but the meat tastes a lot higher quality. Bon Fresco is one of the few things that has made this pandemic deal-withable (absolutely a word). Their roasted veggies in sandwiches or in salads are easily one of the best foodstuffs (and certainly make for the best vegetarian meals) anywhere around. The picante sauce is the stuff dreams are made of, the bread is super fresh and delicious, as is all the produce, and every single thing we've had from here - and we're here multiple times a week, every week - has been not just good or great, but absolutely fantastic. The regular salad with roasted vegetables and picante and balsamic sauces is our go-to (again, it's amazing), but other must-gets are the Picante Fresco and Grilled Veggie sandwiches (both vegetarian), or for the carnivores, the London Broil, Picante Chicken, and Kalamata Chicken are all stellar, perfectly balanced and intensely flavorful options. The option to get many of their sandwiches in mini form and try several is also really nice. The soups and baked goods (brownies and cookies are stellar, too) are also top notch. Also, the staff here are also incredibly nice, friendly, and so quick at getting everything packed up perfectly that they make an already great experience even better. I think I found the best sandwich place in town! It is located in King Farm, inside the Redland Office Park, so it's kind of hard to find at first. It's not in their shopping center. We ordered the corned beef and London broil sandwiches, along with potato salad. The sandwiches are quite large and they also offer smaller versions too. Man, their sandwiches begins with their oh so good crunchy, yet soft bread. So good!! Their London broil sandwich was fantastic. Their bread goes so perfectly to dunk it in one of their soups, which I can see why they offer soups here. Their tomato soup was fantastic. Their potato salad had to be one of the creamiest and smoothest potato salad. Yum! They have a broad and good variety of sandwiches to choose from. I've been here a couple of times now and I like it! Their sandwiches aren't extraordinary, but they're definitely good. The pesto chicken sandwich threw me off a bit because it's tomato pesto; I was expecting basil pesto, but that's completely my fault for not carefully reading the description. I also really enjoyed the curry chicken salad sandwich. I've ordered coffee from here as well and it took a bit of time to prepare, but it was good. Went today with my cousin and friends. They all got the london broil and they all loved it. I want to try everything at least once so I got the kalamata chicken (chicken breast, mozzarella, grilled veggies, olive tapenade on ciabatta). My cousin offered to try the other half so I was able to get half of the kalamata and half london broil... the london broil and chicken picante is still my favorite but this was really food. I liked the fresh mozzarella on the bread and I like olives so I liked the olive tapenade. The bread of course was sooooo good! We also got the couscous and that was really good. EVERYTHING is seriously so good here. Once we were done we decided to try the coffee. I don't like sour or acidic coffee so I didn't like it as much but coffee is always good with a chocolate chip cookie ;) so I got a cookie to go with my latte.. ;) the cookie was crispy and chewy! They gave the cookie to me for free like why so sweet? so of course I left it as tip instead. This place seriously has the best customer service and makes me want to come every time but I'd be broke from eating out too often :P Definitely a place you need to go to and eat at.
