We took our charity group of 8 volunteers into this location after a day of skiing. We were using donated meal vouchers and the manager and staff could not have been kinder or more accommodating. They made us feel SO welcome, included all the extras and joked and laughed with us while preparing the food. The quality of food here is wonderful. Fresh, well made, seasoned and cooked, great options of proteins and carbs, and just some of the best "fast" food I've ever had. My favorite was a bowl with the cauliflower mash, smoked brisket, and guacamole, but others in the group said they had the best steak quesadilla in their lives there. There's also grilled adobo chicken, pulled pork, spicy chulula chicken as well as a vegetarian option. Portions are very generous and provide great value for the price. For between $7-11, you get a full, quality, healthy, fresh, made-from-scratch, delicious meal. Can't beat it! The restaurant was very clean, all the food was hot, and they had enough space to allow us to eat indoors while also social distancing from other guests. The atmosphere was cheerful, even though we later found out that they were short staffed with some managers working double shifts. Honestly, we were blown away by the service, food quality, and overall experience. Felt more like a local "hot spot" than a chain restaurant. We can't wait to go back!!! Keep up the good work, guys! My son was craving QDOBA, so he went in and ordered a burrito and a drink. He said he enjoyed the food, so credit where it's due. The biggest disappointment was the atmosphere. The staff appeared to be speaking only Spanish while he was there, which made the experience feel less welcoming. Also, for a restaurant in upscale Vail, I was surprised that public restroom access wasn't available. Had I been the one stopping in, that likely would have been a deal-breaker for me. The family ate lunch here during our drive to Moab. This small Mexican shack was similar to Chipotle in how the foods were served. Pick your carbohydrate, protein, unlimited toppings, and salsa. The Mrs ordered the pork adobo bowl and two daughters ordered the chicken bowl. I ordered three steak tacos. My steak was tough and chewy. The proteins in the bowls were bland. The toppings and salsa were good. My wife and daughters didn't finish their meal. The worst thing about this place was no on site bathroom. We recently used Qdoba's catering service for our daughter's graduation party. The service was excellent, and they delivered the food in a timely manner. Our party was held at the park, and we didn't count with the weather being so windy the staff had some troubles setting up, but they managed to find a solution to the wind. Staff is great at being jerks. I think they take pride in it. When I asked about iced tea her response was "no quiero" when we looked it up it means I don't want to or I don't care or something like that. Almost comical. Where are the hidden cameras? Seem like a prank show or comedy. Anyhow they're expert at being rude. Many more examples but you get the point. They must have a private little contest going. read more

We just had Qdoba for a dinner for 46 people this last weekend and the food was fantastic. I really didn't know what to expect because I've only eating servings for one but the system works well enough but the payoff is fantastic. Every family member was satisfied. The set up was really easy. The serving portions were great. The accompaniments (cheese, lettuce, utensils, etc.) was just what we needed and there were no shortcuts. And, best yet, the brownies and cookies were exception. Qdoba is highly recommended, reasonably priced and....fantastic food. Thanks to Osman for making it happen! read more

Unfortunately, I gotta say it was the most bland Mexican food I've ever eaten. It was kinda like eating some weird baby food version of Chipotle. I'm upset because the short overweight bald male with the black shirt got an attitude with me and told me to calm down when I was completely calm. I explained to him that we had been at the store the day before and I ordered the same exact burrito. The young lady who rolled the burrito on 11/29, wasn't the same lady who did it 11/28, so basically I was eating a burrito that was falling apart. I got up I voiced my concern about the quality of the burrito, the male in the black shirt grabbed the burrito and threw it at the wall and into the trash and then made another burrito and got an attitude that I was asking for a replacement and was basically insinuating that I was trying to get a free meal or a free ride. There is a regular customer his name is Arturo, he waited until we finished our meal and came outside to give his sincerest apologies for a place he frequents. He stated that at all the times that he had been dining there, he has never saw that employee speak to anybody like that. The location is bad. The manager is completely incompetent. So many issues, here is the worst. Ordered a burrito online, I got about half way through missing some of the ingredients but what ever. I kept catching wiffs of men's cologne. That's odd, but cant be me as I don't own or wear it ever. A few more bites, gets stronger... is it the burrito? Got to the last quarter and realized that the INSIDE of the burrito contains men's cologne.... I have a bitter taste in my mouth and now my mouth smells like cologne. IWTF!!! I had to brush my teeth twice to get it out. How does that even happen? Why are you sporting cologne while working at Qdoba? Good god these people are so bad. Issue 2: Been trying to get breakfast here for a few days but never open on time. Finally got it, again the manager is not trying to open in time I stood at the counter for 10 mins, 20 mins after opening. Oh they are not ready. Door on the sign says open at 8. There missing 1/2 the ingredients by 8:30, manager dude has an artifice like he does not want it be there making food. Like dude, go to school if you don't want to be stupid, but for now if you say I can have a burrito at 8, the be open at 8?? Maybe get there before and prep some food? How do you even have this job? Was just here to buy a burrito and bowl. A group of kids walked in behind me and one didn't have a mask and asked if they had one for him. The shorter guy in a black shirt who I assume is the manager told them "it's ok, it's fine" No it's not fine. I don't want to be in your store if you allow someone without a mask in and don't provide one when they ask. We were visiting from Florida and always love the food at Qdoba. The owner/operator at this location is STELLAR! He is so friendly and helpful and made our visit great! Stopped here on our way to Hanging Lake. First impression was that it was very clean. Wasn't busy so they took our order very quickly. The staff was not very friendly but they provided the basic service I guess. Food looked fresh and tasted as good as any other Qdoba! I have the chicken burrito bowl. Hoping that this will help them improve. When we walked in the beans and rice weren't ready and they weren't open when they were supposed to be. We tried to order and people were walking around the kitchen and nobody acknowledged that we were there for a while. Vegetables weren't offered or available at that time. They were trying to figure out if the spoon they were using to serve with was clean or dirty, and one of the ladies kept coughing into her hands and touching things. Lastly, she came out from the back with a bottle of cough syrup and poured and took some in the front near the food. The city of Vail is a sight. It was a beautiful gem tucked away in the mountains. I really wanted to eat at a place in town, but there was no goddamn way I could park my moving truck. None of the parking garages would fit me and there weren't enough spaces available in the open lots. So after taking a scenic drive through the town, we drop one exit further and stopped at Qdoba. Meh. Whatever. The salsa was OK. The service was eh. The food was OK. It was a very forgetful experience. Overall just very mediocre. read more

Ugh. I've really wanted to like Qdoba since I'm a local, but they always seem to disappoint. This was most definitely the last time I will ever get food from there for myself or my family. I went in on a weekday evening and because it's still off-season, the place was empty. The older girl that greeted me was nice enough, but the other younger girl --not so much. Unfriendly and short, rude facial expressions. I was the only customer there, yet she seemed inconvenienced. After being highly unimpressed with the service, I headed home with the food only to be even more dissatisfied. The food itself tasted old, like it had been left out all day without being refreshed. The rice was overcooked. The meat was dry on all three meals (steak, chicken, and shredded beef). The tortilla soup was way over-spiced and inedible. After spending almost $40 on low quality food, I am extremely unhappy. I will not be back. Qdoba needs to step their game up and be consistent, ESPECIALLY considering that they are a chain "restaurant"! Much better options in the valley. Skip Qdoba. read more
