A younger service worker is rude, and that rudeness was backed up by an older worker standing by (possibly her manager?). Anyway: There are plenty of good places to eat in Wichita. I generally like Qdoba. In the past I had a very pleasant experience at weside Qdoba. Customer service at this Rockroad store is very bad. while I was the only one in line and building my quesadilla at the beginning of the line, the person at the cash register kept pushing me to chose my sides. Two other workers joined in with her. Even though I told them that it is difficult for me to do that they rudely kept gesturing me to move on. Keep in mind that by this time I was in line for less than 2 minutes and no one was behind me. Unfortunately I like Qdoba and this place is closer to my house. But I can't go there anymore. THE ABSOLUTE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! The horrible, terrible little girl has the worst attitude I've ever dealt with anyone in customer service! When confronted she got even more mad and, even worse, the management backed her up because "that's how she is," and she's been there for two years!! Lemme tell y'all something, I don't give a damn if she was there for 10 years. Her attitude is terrible and we will never be back to another QDOBA solely based on this experience. Alright you guys. We need another Qdoba in Wichita. Or even Andover. I am so tired of the staff at this location. When I walk in it's almost like I am inconveniencing them - it's great. Yesterday - husband and I walked in, the line was long but we were last in line so by the time we got to the counter the staff should have been relaxed because they were about to get a break. Well. The big guy making the food reached into his pants and dug his underwear out of his crack with his gloves on. Not sure what happened after that as I had to look away. The skinny kid managing the grill - boss level multitasking. The girl with the purple hair - so much attitude! I ordered a burrito and she acted like she didn't understand the words coming out of my mouth. Had to remake my burrito like it was my fault. My husband always get a taco salad. Well what a disappointment a toddler could have finished his salad, there was nothing in it. Half scoops and attitude. I hate that this is the closest one to my house and I can't see myself going to Chipotle. So I am going to take a break from you Qdoba. Until we meet again. read more

Firstly, the younger worker's service was terrible: she made it seem like we were inconveniencing her for simply ordering, her tone was so disrespectful and she rolled her eyes multiple times. I asked her for a champion burrito (one of their more well known dishes, according to their website) and she replied: "when even is that?" with an extremely annoyed tone whilst rolling her eyes. I don't blame her entirely for not knowing what it was, but I was shocked to receive such a disrespectful response from an employee. The food itself was good, but not good enough to make up for the service we were provided. We felt very un-welcomed. The ambience was fine. It felt almost industrial. If I could give this a 0 star I would. An online order was placed and picked up. No mention of any issues at the time of pick up. Once the food was unpacked and inspected at home it was noted one of our orders was missing more than half the ingredients listed on the sticker on the lid of the container. I drove back up to the store (the missing items were worth the trip) and explained at the window it was missing items. Nothing was said at that time when my bowl was taken back. A few minutes later a different person comes to the window with my bowl and says "it's missing stuff cause we're out of stuff". To which I asked why that wasn't mentioned or addresses at pick up to prevent a drive back up there. She then raises her voice and said "we're busy we don't have time to tell people that!" And I stated this was incredibly poor customer service to not communicate with a customer over specific order requests. As I was talking, not yelling and not rude, she threw her hand in my face then slammed the drive thru window in my face. I have been in the customer service industry for well over 20 years and it would take A LOT for me to voice concern, however, this is flat out appalling how this woman behaved. We frequent this location often as it's close to home and we genuinely like the food. The customer service is never great but our orders are always correct so we have never thought twice about it. I will give this location a 4 out of 5 for the sake of the exquisitely friendly associates who have to put up with a terrible manager, just terrible. If you go to this joint, look out for a large balding individual with glasses and a sour attitude. He made myself and everyone else in the building feel unsafe in this establishment. Truly one of the lesser pleasant managers in the area. Otherwise, a nice selection of fresh gourmet meats, rices, and of course legumes to be had here. When we attempted to use a coupon the app was not functioning, but we went ahead and placed an order. During pickup we asked if we could get 2 bags of chips with our entree. Jessica demanded we come in to pay. (Totally OK) At this point i asked about the coupon to see if we could remedy. To this she replied no. After i gained the attention of the person in the window, I asked for a number to call. She said there wasn't one..... so i asked for a supervisors number, at which point she became combative.... Qdoba was our dinner stop on the way back from a trip so we were all pretty tired when we got there. First I was put out by how similar the place looked to Chipotle. Restaurants should have different looks, even if they serve the same stuff. I am a huge fan of burritos so that is exactly what I ordered. Pinto beans are my go-to beans for burritos but when she put them on I noticed how much liquid was in it. I don't know if that's how they do it around here or if the batch was a little messed up when they made it. In addition to that they ask a lot of questions which saves you from talking a ton. Do you want lettuce or salsa? Would you like fajita vegetables? You don't get asked all that at Chipotle! The lady who was getting my food started to mix everything up in the burrito when I was done telling her what I wanted. That is a game- changer because when I go to Chipotle I always have a bit of cold salsa then a bit of hot meat. I want it all together. That being said, almost all of Qdoba's food is warm, even the lettuce and corn salsa, so when I went to take a bit it was all warm mushy filling. At least with Chipotle everything tastes different temperatures. Also the kid's meal is not great. You can get chips with some toppings or one taco. At Chipotle they have a build-your-own or a cheese quesadilla. All of this put together and I still think I like Chipotle better than Qdoba, but Qdoba's chips are hard to beat! read more

You can never go wrong with Beans & Rice. What is nice about Qdoba is they provide wonderful options of beans and rice, variety of meat options, and a large variety of toppings that beats all other locations similar to them. The staff is also pretty generous with their servings and if you ask for a second scoop of salsa you can get they will give it to you! They have a quick flow through line process for serving their customers who come in and even though a line appears long it never really is. The longest I have had to wait is about 10 minutes. once you complete your order you finish checking out and there is always plenty of seating space. They also provide freshly cut limes and lemons which are great additions to the meal. I always order a burrito bowl with a tortilla on the side. Sometimes it is so much food 1 meal becomes 2 meals. read more

Service was terrible. I walked in and they seemed annoyed I was there. They gave me very small portions. The beans were pretty much out and they were too lazy to change it out to give me a decent portion. I then got overcharged and asked if that was the correct amount since I get the same thing every time and it's never that expensive. The response I got was, "I don't know". Well I have been reluctant to try this place..not sure why..maybe the location??? Well my husband has been going for the last 2 weeks and kept raving how delicious it was. Well I went last night and he was absolutely correct. It was so damned yummy and everything was so so fresh not to mention HEALTHY! I got everything​ put in a tortilla wrap. I highly recommend the briscuit it was amazing and so was the staff. They were kind enough to let me sample the meat before I decided what I was going to order. When leaving I decided I needed another tortilla ( didn't eat all mine so figured the tortilla would be all soggy the next day) and I went to purchase it, and the owner I believe, said no charge which I thought was very kind. It is lunch time and they do not have change in the register so most of us have to give them full 20 dollar bills and wait for them to bring us money. Love this place. Food always taste fresh and great. Also has a great vegan and vegetarian options with the salads. Staff is always friendly.

One thing I enjoy about returning to the same place to eat is seeing the same familiar faces, even if they don't remember me. I have been to Qdoba at this location 3 times now. The first time the staff was ok, the following two times they had the same staff on duty who I could tell were pleased to serve my husband and I. They had a smile on their face both times and were very generous on their portions. They got me in and out quickly and the food was good! They even explained questions I had. This is one my favorite places to go after I work out with weights at the gym because usually I can't finish an entire burrito bowl to myself. I ate that meal all up all by myself, no sharing involved, and enjoyed every bite. They give you more meat then their competitor down the street as well so you're getting great service, a tasty meal, along with plenty of food to eat/share depending on your appetite. If your enjoy the burritos, I suggest you ask for a burrito bowl and a side tortilla. There is a large selection here and more options to choose from to change up your meal each time. Oh yea! One of my favorite things about this place is they have a TV right there in the dining area. You can watch your favorite sports game or even enjoy a conversation with friends as you eat your meal. Decided to give this a try yesterday, since it's new to the wichita market. Upon entering, the decor is very contemporary but they added some personal wichita touches to this location. Lots of air capital decor. The way that you order and the setup of the line is pretty similar to chipotle or free birds. It is different than chipotle and other places in that it has way more menu items such as taco salads, nachos, and quesadillas as well. I decided on a quesadilla, and it was super yummy. I also really like that they don't charge for extras on your entree like guacamole or queso. Although, I will say that it seems like the quality of ingredients are much better at Chipotle, and well sourced. I will definitely be back! read more

What is it with the employees there? Especially the manager. I just ate there for my 3rd time and I asked myself today why I even bothered giving them a third chance. Each time the manager and employees acted like I was an inconvenience to them. I normally don't notice or care to notice if employees at a fast food restaurant are nice, I really just care about getting my food and getting out. But the level of rude and attitude baffles me. Today I the girl helping me decided for me that I wanted cheese, when I corrected her she let out a huge sigh and asked "the what did you want?". The manager is a taller heavy set Hispanic lady with glasses, don't bother trying to get a thank you for coming in from her or anything. She was sitting there calling out her two employees and talking down to them as if they were stupid telling the gentleman that he was slow but yet she did nothing to help the long line. Love the food when it's fresh!! It was very good when they first opened, but just like everywhere else in ICT when the hype fades away so does the quality of the food & service with a smile. I used to go here quote alot, until recently because some of the employees seem to be or act like they are still in training while other employees are amazing always smiling, fast, & loads to food up. This most recent one I noticed the rice was cold & dried out, meat was very dry & chewy, & there's a certain female employee I'm not sure of she's a manager or staff but she sure does have a stank attitude!!!! I didn't tell you to work there so don't me rude to me or my family if you don't like where you are employed ...get another job & field that doesn't require customer service :). Otherwise I hope they can pick up where they used to be when they first started when the food was delicious & not just ok. The staff (some of them) were fast & nice & not slow & rude.
