I love this qfc. They are friendly and always help when you need. My only complaint is the Starbucks with in the store. Watch your charges. I was over charged and when I brought it up the lady argued with me and she still never made it right. I walked away angry with the service I received. read more

QFC has a reputation for high quality goods and this is no exception! They have lots of different and hard to find items (I never see starfruit anywhere else in burien). The staff is extremely helpful and very pleasant. The only downside is that the prices are a lot higher than your average grocery store, but you pay for the quality of the products read more

Every time I go here it's only because it's the closest grocery store to my house. And every time I go here, I wind up saying "Are you kidding me?!?" Cherries, 2.49 a lb. IF YOU HAVE YOUR CLUB CARD, or 8.99 a lb. if you don't! Their produce is horribly overpriced, actually all their stuff is. And their selection isn't even very large. I lost my club card, and since I signed up for it about a thousand phone numbers ago, I had to fill out another application at the point of purchase. Bah. I live in the area and unfortunately continue to shop here only because it's 2 mins away from home. The worst customer service grocery store ever! The bakery department is probably the only friendly professional department in the entire store. Self check out 9/10 times is unmanned by any staff personnel. Clerks will choose to huddle and have personal conversations then have any urgency in helping customers in need waiting for assistance. I've had to flag down help at self check a few times because no one is ever there to bypass any issues at the register. Who's Managing store??? Lack of customer service training and unfriendly & unhelpful employees is not good for business. This place needs some serious help. read more

Worst deli ever. This is a convenient spot for me to grab a sandwich or something for lunch. I've popped in here about 2x month for years. The deli is severely understaffed if someone is actually working they will completely ignore you. The last few times I've need to grab and go I've ended up leaving empty handed. A total joke! I am extremely disappointed in the customer service that I received at Normandy Park QFC. A little over two months ago I stopped in and bought a 16 piece fried chicken meal for my family for dinner. The chicken was extremely dry and had to be thrown out. That night I called the store and spoke with the manager who said I could come in and give my advantage card number and would be refunded immediately. When I came into the store a couple of days later the girl at the customer service desk said there was absolutely no way to look it up by that and she took down all my information to pass on to have a manager call me. After not receiving a call from a manager after a week I called again and was told again that a manager would call me back. Still did not receive a call back from a manager. I then went into the QFC and talk to Dan, one of the managers at the store. He told me he would look into my situation and give me a call. A couple days later I received a call from him expressing his apologies and that I could come back into the store to get my refund of $24.99. I went back into the store today and spoke with Jen, one of the store managers, and I left extremely extremely disappointed. Not only did she never apologize for all of my inconvenience but was not very friendly at all. Apparently she called Dan and he said he never spoke to anybody who didn't have a receipt. She told me they can't do refunds over the amount of $10 without a receipt. I explained to her that this is why it's taken me two months to get my money back. It seemed the whole time as if she thought that I was lying. I gave her two of my advantage card numbers, the date and time of the purchase and that still was not enough. I then had to pull up my online banking statement to show her proof of my purchase. When I showed her she didn't even respond just seemed irritated and went back to the counter and seemed like she was getting my refund processed. I had a few items that I was purchasing and she asked if I was buying those and that she could ring them up for me there. She never asked me how I wanted to pay for those items she just proceeded to, without my knowledge, process my refund onto a QFC gift card and then take those items out of the gift card. When I told her it was ridiculous that I got a gift card and not my money back since I used my debit card, she said I was lucky that she would even do that. I wanted to have her refund all the items but my kids at this point we're done and I was so angry I just needed to leave. It's so sad to me that I grew up in this area and have been to this QFC several times and will never in my life go back for the way that I have been treated over the past two months for a mere $25. Called on Tuesday July 11th and requested district manager to call me. They told me someone would contact me within 72 hours, it's a week later and still no call from anyone. read more

5stars for cake decorator Susan at the QFC Normandy Park. Again, she wowed my family and friends with my daughter's 4th birthday cake. I met Susan when I started ordering our birthday cakes for work and I was blown away by her creativity. My residents always took the time to admire her cakes every month before we cut into it. Not only did it looked beautiful, the cakes tasted delicious! So when my baby turned 1, I asked Susan to make a full sheet plus 3 matching rounds to go with it. When I picked up my cake, I almost cried. It was beyond beautiful. When the QFC in Des Moines closed, I lost touch with Susan. What a great surprise after 2yrs, I met her at the QFC Normandy Park. We picked up where we left off. Today, my husband picked up her cake, he came back with such great reviews. Thank you so much Susan for being an awesome/creative cake decorator. I look forward to having you decorate my oldest daughter's 12th bday in July and many more birthday cakes. read more

No problem with the items here. It's the employees who make it a bad store. One clerk called someone retarded which I would categorize as job harassment. Maybe I come from a more socially aware neck of the woods, but this store does not seem to understand what it means to live in the year 2014. It's just what happens when you keep employees who should be retired already. I'd rather drive a couple miles away to shop in a location where unintelligent, outdated people have learned to keep their mouths shut. read more

BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE I've left something at the store and tried calling back 3 different times at 10:30AM on 10/23/16 and was hung up on everytime without anyone even picking up the phone, I could here them taking in the background. I really dislike this store. Went into the store looking for the fresh roasted chickens, deli person sent me ALL THE WAY TO THE FAREST CORNER OF THE STORE. When I searched the entire store and finally located the item, it was FIVE FEET from where I asked for assistance. Complained to checker and asked for manager. The response from the checker to the manager was "she's just mad"! Manager gave nothing except excuses and when I contact QFC with complaint to no surprise I received NO RESPONSE! Has what you need, but definitely is not quality. This should be there store that is focused on quality, but is not. Fred Meyer has way better quality than this place, and is only another 10 minutes away. They need to focus on their produce, deli, bakery, and meat. Fred Meyer beats them in every category. Prices are higher and I am not sure why if the quality is less. FOCUS on your name QFC, especially QUALITY!!! Nice staff though, say hi to Nate on the night shift. good guy. Watch our for the older kiosk Nazi during the day or late afternoon. She is a bit older and has reddish hair. She may need a refresher in customer service. The young people that work there are happy and helpful. Avoid during peak hours...they are packed, parking is bad, and access to the street out of the store is impossible. Would be 4 stars with better deli and meat department, and 5 starts with a better produce department in addition. Worst part: Produce and meat departments, parking, access. Best part: Staff, floral department, easy to navigate store isles. read more

QFC has the best cakes and I never had any issues until I really needed them to be on point. I ordered my daughters first birthday cakes and cupcakes here and not only did they do pink instead of purple but they also didn't do the ombré like we talked about! All they did was alternate colors! Not even the right colors. My daughters birthday them was gold and purple NOT PINK! also they shorted my one dozen cupcakes which sucked because I was short cupcakes at the party. I placed her cake order 3 weeks in advance to prevent this issue, when I picked up the cake I noticed that the order form barely had anything written on there of what we talked about, it's like they rewrote it but left the important details out. Not sure if I will use this specific location again for cakes, I might go out of my way to use another QFC bakery which is a bummer. I have ordered cake from QFC for the past 5 years and everyone always ask where get my cakes and I always tell them QFC. Really disappointed! read more

I want to thank Laura Thomas for going above and beyond for her EXCELLENT in customer service for me today. I called around 9:30 to QFC Normandy Park in a panic because I lost 3 receipts that I needed for my credit card statement. The statement was for the first Friday of April. I thought it was a long shot, but I called QFC anyways. I first spoke with the Store Manager who was very helpful and I appreciated his honesty that he was unable to assist but he had me speak with Laura. She asked me a few questions and just about 15mins ago, I received a scanned copy of my receipts. What a relief!!! Thank you so much Laura and her store manager for helping me!! I appreciate all of you so much! read more
