The staff here are very friendly and always ready to help. The cashiers are also very polite. That's why I often buy groceries and other items here. I come here quite a bit. The store is close to my work, I try to go in grab something for lunch and leave. I don't know what's going on with their deli department, but if you are trying to grab a quick bite for lunch, do not go there. You will be waiting for a while, they have three or four people working behind the counter, and apparently there's only one special unicorn that can ring people up. This is the third or fourth time in the past couple of weeks that I've had to wait longer than five bloody minutes just to get some damn chicken tenders. The same goes with self checkout, you don't always have somebody standing there when you need to get ID check or help, and even though I'll only scan three things on their little checkout, it seems like every friggin time somebody's gotta come in there and check it because the machine thinks I took more than what I had. Getting real tired of the self checkout, I don't get a discount for doing somebody else's job, what the hell? And QFC seems to delight with extra charges. Every other store I can get cash back without having to pay an extra $.75, but QFC is gonna get their due. So now I get to decide if I'm just gonna go hungry at lunch, start packing my own lunch, or go get it from some other place because I am done with this place. read more

A little QFC with some good heart and service. Popped in for a few essentials on the road to a fun destination in Tacoma which consisted of mostly beverages and gum. Despite being super dated in the decor they do a great job keeping everything stocked and clear. A lot of people have mentioned the need for a remodel and it's true tho... like that Janet Jackson meme of her snacking. We had also had to use the facilities while there having just powered down some coffee on the way over. The restrooms aren't for customers at all... This is a little odd... however the clerks and managers on duty were kind enough to let us. I'm guessing they've had issues with customers destroying them over the years. Big parking lot! read more

Came in a little after 10:30 today , while shopping I had to use the restroom, I politely asked the Filipino lady who was working self check out if I could use the restroom and she looked at me smug , paused for a few seconds and proceeded to ask me if I was shopping ? I responded yes and she told me to wait near the flower area and she'll get someone . She ended up clocking out to leave after 5 or 10 minutes of me standing there and I eventually just left since she obviously had the attention span of a 3 year old , forgot and never got anyone to let me use the bathroom. I 100% understand the hassle of the fentanyl zombies potentially ODing in the bathroom and loitering around the store but the employees should know the difference between a paying customer and someone who is obviously a drug addict . read more

This is a smaller store in a not so desirable location. However I was next door and needed a grocery store so I went in and was able to find what I needed. Probably would be better with a little remodeling, but it had what I needed. You will typically find a security officer watching over the parking lot which is nice. read more

Unacceptably dirty bathrooms almost every day. The store opens at 5am and I stop in here almost every morning on my home from work to grab something for dinner, about 5:30am. More often than not I end up needing to use the restroom, and it is always some degree of dirty. Today was particularly bad, hence the review. The attached photo shows some of it. Toilet paper all over the floor and giant mass of paper in the used toilet clogging it. What's not easy to see is the empty toilet seat cover container, the dried piss on the seat along with food crushed into the floor and an over flowing garbage can. Also at some point I assume the toilet actually overflowed itself because there is a wet floor sign. For a business that has been open for less than an hour I find this unacceptable. This has been left to sit like this since the store closed at midnight. Door was wide open and lights were on when I got there, so every employee who walked past, on the way to their private bathroom during the night had a great view of the state the restroom was in. I've just spent the last 8 hours cleaning at a local university and I dont think it's to much to ask to not have to do the potty dance while I plunge my grocery stores toilet and wipe the piss off their seat. read more

It's actually kinda weird, QFC is usually clean and has a well-stocked store, and every other location that I've been to enforces covid precautions. Not this one. QFC stores don't vary so much, but I had a great experience here in the floral dept. I took some Rowanberry clippings in, chose some daisies to go with them, brought my own vase with me, and Gail put the whole arrangement together. Stopped in today to pick a few things up. As I was standing in-line an older gentleman In front of us was a little short buying some coffee. I told the cashier just put on my bill. The cashier was getting off work and another guy came and took over for her. She told hIm I was going to pay for the guys coffee, no big deal. After the new cashier puts the jar of coffee in a bag and tells him to have a good day, the customer says thank you and goes on his way. This cashier then proceeds to tell me " just FYI" this customer does this all the time, he stands there pretending not to have enough money. Is it really any of your business to tell me that? You don't know his situation, maybe today he WAS short? Ever think of that? Absolutely disappointed with this type is customer service. Albertsons will now get my business. read more

Love that I have a grocery store so close to me, literally 5 minutes away if that but I won't do my major grocery shopping here. The service at this location is slow because it tends to be understaffed with checkers but it's a pretty small location with a pretty decent amount of customers coming and going. read more

While their check stands are still funky, I do like that they are starting to supply better variety when it comes to organic options. They now carry more organic options across their store thanks to their brand "simply organic". They also expanded their organic & locally grown sections in the produce department. Thank goodness! After shopping here randomly and more frequently these days, I must say that these are hard workers! No one is ever lolligagging or just hanging around. They are friendly, and perhaps because it is a smaller store, they all know exactly where to find what. The produce is always fresh, as well as the meats and any other items! I would give negative stars if I could. I pre-ordered 2-$80.00 heat & serve prime rib dinners from the deli department. For a special Christmas Eve dinner. My daughter is a nurse and was working on Christmas. I had planned a separate dinner with family and friends. Gave name, number, date & pick up time. My husband arrived at the Pacific QFC at agreed time. They found my order's paperwork but it had not been filled. So the deli person working filled the order. But everything in the dinner except the pie & rolls were completely frozen. Prime rib popsicles. None of the instructions even applied because they were only heat & serve directions not defrost. We spent $160.00 for frozen food. I spent a extra 90 minutes and a lot of stress just to get the food warm. I had planned on transferring the sides into serving dishes. But that didn't happen. My experience was beyond disappointing. Funny thing is I thought I was making the dinner easy on myself. Note to self cook own meal or take everyone out to eat. I love the staff here, and the produce is always unbelievably fresh. This will be my grocery store for as long as I live in Parkland. That said, this wouldn't be a true review if I wasn't honest about everything, especially addressing some points raised in previous reviews: Yes, the store sometimes comes across as dirty, especially from the outside. It's not actually unclean, though, just an older building that could use a renovation. Yes, the checkout stands are a pain in the butt. This also needs to be updated. Yes, some of the other clientele leave something to be desired. But I have NEVER met a staff that is friendlier and the quality of the food in the store is always top notch. Looks can be deceiving. Just down the road is an Albertson's that has been newly renovated and is twice the size, but the food there, especially the deli and produce are never high quality. read more

This is my new regular shopping store. I just moved here from lacey. So far I have found this store to be good. The employees have helped direct me to the right isles. The prices are okay long as you have a customer card. I Dont have one but the person who rings me up always scans one for me which is nice. read more

Quality of produce was better then most places i have been lately since moving to the area. Staff was more then friendly which is what i really look for in any establishment. My only problem is how small and limited it seems. Just doesnt have the normal size of a building other Grocery Stores have but cant let that dock them a star. This is the dirtiest QFC I have ever seen/smelled. The selection of produce was laughable and the meat department smelled like pee. That wasn't the end of our trip. When leaving we were greeted by a group of young men digging through the trash right next to where we needed to park the cart. I really like this QFC. It's on the smaller side and you can actually get in and out with milk or other essentials without walking a mile. It's certainly not like some of the highs scale QFC's in other places but it has excellent specials, friendly service and like I said you can actually get in and out pretty quickly. Many times multiple checkstands are running or open up when it gets busy. I also like that they more often than not have courtesy clerks helping bag my groceries. The deli is great! I like this QFC. They often have manager's specials on breads, pastries, and even in the deli section, so I got to try a lot of different foods without paying full price. Their mashed potatoes and lasagne from the deli section is pretty tasty, and so is the rotisserie chicken. They have a microwave here so you can buy food and eat it there. The employees are friendly as well. It's not the cheapest or best grocery store I've been to, but it's close to home and have good deals so I'll be back again. read more

This morning I was on my way to work and I needed some money for the bus and a caffeine fix. This QFC is on my way to the bus stop and I shop there regularly so I stopped in to buy a coffee and retrieve bus fare. I got my coffee, stood in line, and purchased it. After purchasing the coffee I stopped to use the rest room before my long bus ride to work. Afterwards I walked out the door with my coffee and proceeded to my stop. A few steps out the door I heard someone say, "Ma'am! Ma'am! Ma'am!." Once I realized this person was talking to me I removed my headphones and turned around. A young lady (by the name of Cassie) was standing there and she promptly asked me if I had paid for my coffee. I was taken aback. I shop here all the time. I have never taken anything without paying. I stood in line and paid for my coffee. Anyone paying any attention at all could have seen that. And now I was being accused of stealing. A coffee no less. Maybe if I were walking out with a cart of unbagged groceries. But this was a coffee. That I had paid for. I am a manager for a restaurant. I don't need to steal anything let alone a coffee. I was humiliated. There were people all around watching me being accused of shoplifting. I have worked customer service for a long time. A long time. And that is not appropriate or professional. Also, I have worked retail. I know that you are not to approach someone outside of a store if you suspect them of stealing. That's dangerous for everyone involved. This girl could use a lesson in professionalism and propriety. I intend to let everyone I know what to expect when going into this grocery store. read more
