I was a little skeptical about the app and using the Click To Go for grocery pick up. But after further usage, it's great. Y'all I didn't have to pay for bags, they gave me my receipt, some coupons (military base commissary use only) and a little hand signed note about how much they take pride in picking out my groceries! Also if I had any problems with my order on who to call! I have been shopping online for years now since the plandemic (not a mistake), never have I ever had so much care taken into account on my stuff. Our service members deserve the best and this is it. As with all military commissaries - this is a quality service for military members. The selections are wide and the store is clean. They just put in new self serve cash registers and that made the process easier. We like to shop at this locations and look forward to shopping there moving forward read more

Rude employees. the cashiers always have something to say. they are always hostile. today we went through cashier line because we bought too much stuff to go in the self checkout, and after the transaction was finalized the cashier goes "you young people never tip, have some class. keep that in mind next time", and the bagger followed that up with "the self checkout is there for a reason". absolutely ridiculous. besides, after being cut off in isles and shewed out of the way by workers on the floor, why would i feel obligated to tip anybody who works at this place? this isn't the first time something like this has happened. sorry that my boyfriend and i are broke 19yr old college students that don't carry cash. i'm done shopping here read more

I just want to give a huge shout out to this place. Yesterday my sister and I went grocery shopping with her two kids, we had two full carts and the staff was EXTREMELY helpful. They put our groceries onto the belt because my youngest nephew is a newborn so he was screaming bloody murder while my 5 year old nephew was having a meltdown at the same time... thank you guys so much for everything. They even helped us take our groceries to the car which was even better. So grateful for this place. read more

We've lived at four different duty stations now, and this is by far the best commissary we've had. Their organic section is great, and I love that they have a butcher onsite - something Fort Drum didn't have. Another plus is their sushi selection. It won't be the best you've ever eaten, but it's great in a pinch. Produce - it's always hit or miss, really. The stuff they do have is pretty good, but it never lasts that long, so we don't bulk-buy. Also, don't go searching up and down the aisles for soda or water. There's a separate "room" at the front of the commissary, just past the bathrooms. You'll find a bunch more aisles of sodas, waters, and some bulk foods. Oh, ps - parking here is the WORST. Don't expect to ever find a spot close by ;) read more

'My first visit to a Military Commissary ever but with a friend along whom also is a Veteran ! Upon entering I decided to stock up on canned goods, My poor wife who actually is the better shopper we had to leave in the visitors center because of a lack of proper I.D.! We will be more prepared on our next visit? They had an excellent meat department I saw. We couldn't stay all that long being my wife was waiting for us being she not admitted due to proper I.D.! I was impressed with the layout of the store, Next time we will check out the Deli, the Bakery and Dairy section? Maybe once a month visit here would be about right? After all this Commissary is 100+ miles from home. read more

Been shopping here since 1994. Good price's usually have everything you need. I would say the produce is intermittent on the fresh side. The meat department has a great selection always has the cuts I'm looking for. The staff aim to please. I will say that the baggers on the most part work hard for tips and treat your groceries like there own however every once in a while they have a younger newer bagger that could be retrained on bagging groceries. Overall I am pleased with this store and service and will continue to shop here. read more

Can we please have the same quality of products here that McChord Commissary has everyday? This place blows

My husband has been in a few times after work. I usually avoid this place because there are much better grocery stores elsewhere. With that being said, my husband told me he has experienced the same technical errors with the card readers multiple times since our first visit. This has never happened to us anywhere else, so we have no idea why it continues happening here. You'd think that if they're having these technology problems over and over, they would eventually change something.. for both the staff and the customers! It's a huge inconvenience to spend triple the time you usually spend checking out, just to wait for them to angrily reset the card reader like it's the customer's fault. Miss the commissary at our last duty station. read more

It's crazy how late it opens and how early it closes. Not very convenient usually end up having to drive 20mins to go to Walmart instead

I've been going to the Fort Lewis commissary pretty regularly for the last 6 years. I have never had any problems with the employees or the service. The prices are always comparable or cheaper than local grocery stores, and the convenience of being on base cannot be under stated. The location is clean and always well stocked. read more

Needs help in the meat department on Sundays. Apparently nobody is in charge of or knowledgeable about poultry. Came on June 21st and it took me about 20 minutes to get someone to assist me; however, they were a new hire and couldn't help with a routine request. I will start shopping at the McChord AFB Commissary in the future. read more

Well. It's a commissary. My husband is retired and we travel to various installations. I like to check out the available commissaries. Both stateside and overseas. This one is typical DECA. Prices are decent compared to "on the economy". Meat is ok for the most part, well stocked. Dairy is good. Produce generally is hit and miss. I like when there is locally grown produce. Here, not so much. I realize the location may be an issue, but why not Washington cherries ? Maybe had them for a week. The sweet corn was great, for the moment they had it in. And why do they only have mammoth pumpkins? 29 cents a pound is great, but where are the smaller ones? The "back room", where the soda is stocked sometimes has a warehouse sale. Good deals. Folks have commented on customer service. Great, til today. This little checker girl was amazingly SLOW. To the point where the bagger was waiting on her to scan something to bag. I only had about 40 items this time. All in all, it's fine. Watch for coupons and stock up when things go on sale. DECA is trying a new store brand collection. Yes, they are cheaper. Time shall tell. Quality-wise. Deli gals are efficient. Quick service. I have not dealt with the bakery much. Best commissary? (Thus far) Fort Rucker. McChord is small but excellent!! Worst commissary? Well, it's not this one. In case you are thinking I just came at a bad time, I have to mention that my daughter lives here and I have been here in all seasons, for months at a time. read more

The cashier rubydale at the express lane rather talk her mouth off to her coworkers than do her job and then I had to help the bagger bag my stuff up because she decided to start scanning things after she noticed a line forming. The baggers are always so sweet but the cashiers need to be replaced, I've had multiple rude cashiers. read more

I have always had great experiences when it comes to cleanliness and service at this location. My husband eats the sushi from here constantly and loves it. The produce is always better than anywhere else in the area and has a large range of products to choose from. read more

Good cheap submarine sandwiches, flatbread, wraps and paninis. Their bread, meat/ cheeses and produce are always fresh. People in uniform have priority so sometimes it's a wait if you go in civilians and best avoided on payday unless you want to be stampeded. I'll never eat at Subway as long as there's a commissary nearby. read more
