Hello all. I never come back this salon. Last weekend I went here for the first time. Ms. Thao asked me so many times about where I am living and is it first time I am coming her salon, etc. The customers just like to enjoy at the hair salon and don't want to answer so many questions about privacy. Also, the man hair stylist in that place told me that I am pregnant when he saw me to wear a dress. OMG, the first time I met him and he doesn't know about me, me either. Why he guessed like that and he thinks that was for fun with a lady. Ms. Thao charged $60 for the hair cut 1 inch, wash hair, blow and drier. Do you think is that a good price in the OC area? They treat me as I am a walk in customer and I can't come back so she can charge whatever she wants. I think the place needs to be build up their business more professionally. read more

Stumbled on this hair salon because it was one of the few spots that closed at 8 pm. Me and my son desperately needed a haircut and we showed up here 15 minutes to closing. The Owner and associated greeted us and seated us right away. We each got hair cut, wash and dry. The staff was friendly and attentive and got the both of us out 30 minutes later. We were super appreciative that they kept the store open a couple minutes later to accommodate us. read more

I've been coming to QT Salon for 6 years and I have never been disappointed in my life. I have been coming to Miss Hoa the past 6 years. She is the best hair stylist and she is moderately priced! The vibes of the shop are great so it's somewhere I enjoy going. Miss Hoa has dyed my hair multiple colors throughout the years including: White, Red, Black, Brown, Blue, Purple, and now Magenta(ish). The color always stays for months and properly fades due to washing, and whenever I cut my hair, all I need to do is show her a picture of what I want and I get exactly that. Miss Hoa (or Miss Flower in English) is something who has definitely changed my life by boosting my confidence and always making sure I am given the best when it comes to her efforts. Price is doubled because I have a lot of hair.. I've never been discriminated for having a lot of hair in my life. Beside my hair is a half of volume after Covid side effect. This is Asian stylist on Asian hair. NEVER in my almost 50 years of my life I am charged $350 for color/highlight and cut. I may understand if this is impeccable high end salon with amazing service in somewhere like in Hollywood. This is at a strip mall, outdated clattered interior and ripped furniture, old school Vietnamese music from 70s is on, and everyone talks vietnamese among each other. Coloring is inconsistent. Not impressive cut. Awful shampooing technic. My head was washed like a head of cabbage in 'cold' water. No towel on face. The chemical water got into my eyes and still hurts next day. No head/neck massages. No blow out. Her phone rings constantly and she answers each time during the color/cut because there's not receptionist, and there are no one else who speak understandable English. And $350 zele payment plus tip (with pressure.. she commented that she will share the tip with 2 people she brought in for washing and drying). Doubling the price isn't already including tip? I felt so scammed and ripped off. I will never go back and will never recommend to anyone. read more

I made an appointment for Thursday @11am. I walk in I let Susan know I'm here for my 11am appointment for Stephanie she said to wait a few minutes. Stephanie walked up to me and told me she was already with someone but Susan can do my hair once she was finished with her client. I had a feeling this was going to end bad but I still wanted my hair fixed. I told her that it was okay and waited a few minutes. Susan called me to sit in her chair. Susan asked me what I wanted and I told her I wanted my roots more blonde so it can blend with my highlights and it just looked uneven all around my roots and not blonde at all. Susan called Tracy and passed me the phone. Tracy told me that I would have to pay another $200 for them to fix my hair because I want to do different colors. I told her I'm not doing different colors I'm just asking them to make my hair more blonde same thing I asked for when I came in the first time. She said I should've came earlier the first time not @7 I told her I came @6 I made an appointment with her ahead of time. She kept trying to find something to get me a way to pay for their mistake. My boyfriend paid almost $300 the first time we came. She said she was really busy. I told her that's not my problem I came to get a service that I was promised for free because they didn't do it right the first time. She told me that it's not fair she was already giving me a discount instead of $300 it was going to be $200. I told her I didn't like my hair and they told me to come back so they can fix it for free. She kept saying I had to pay for it. I'm really disappointed about this whole situation. Worst haircut in my life, first of all she completely dry cut my wavy hair without even washing or at least straightening it. Secondly she asked if I wanted bangs and I told her "no" and she proceeded to give me bangs anyways. And besides the fact that one side is completely longer than the other. Went in to get a balayage and was very clear with what I wanted. A stylist was dying my hair then left and ANOTHER stylist came to me and started to dye the roots!!! Then I politely asked that why was she dying my roots when I wanted a balayage and she left to ask the first stylist that was helping me. They both came to me and said it was their mistake! Very unprofessional!!! My hair was also cut off very short. Went in , hoping I'd be satisfied with my hair but I wasn't. Honestly it's taken me some courage to lower the review, but I'm very disappointed with my haircut. I didn't notice at first because she had curled my hair, which mind you she just did without telling me it would add an extra $5, but she cut way too much in comparison to my reference picture. About a third of my hair density is gone and she took off about 5 inches in my face framing + gave me curtain bangs. I also emphasize I did not want bangs and that I wanted to keep my length. She did keep the actual length of my hair, but for the rest its basically gone. I'm a bit heartbroken because of how long it's taken me to grow out my hair and now it's going to take another minimum of 6 months for it to get back where it was. Below is the reference picture (again girl), my before abt a week before haircut (black dress), and my after (white tank). The "face framing" goes past my ears too rather than just the front. And the front is above my chin rather than a couple inches below my chin like before. I can't braid my hair anymore and the bangs I didn't want can't even fit in a ponytail. Susan was very sweet and made nice conversation, but it doesn't change the fact that she cut WAY more than want I wanted. I'm sad I had to pay extra for a cut I didn't want and have to wait for it to grow. read more
