I came across this QT hair salon. Everyone was very nice and attentive. My hairstylist was Stephanie, she is hands down one of the best there. She really cares about how to fix my hair to the color I wanted and not damaged it but with proper care and her professional skills made my hair transformation beyond my expectations. I got the golden brown balayage and keratin treatment and it's so worth it for my dry and damaged hair over many years of bleaching. I can't thank her enough and will always come back to Stephanie for more hair services and will recommend all the people I know to give this place a try and you will not be disappointed! The customer service is amazing, the quality is the best in town and the prices are reasonable! Thank you Stephanie and QT Salon for giving me this amazing hair transformation for my Birthday next month!

I've been seeing Stephanie for years and she's been such an essential part of my life. She always tells me her honest thoughts about different styles I wanna try and whether or not it'll look good on me. She's so fast at cutting and is so professional! Susan was so awesome, I made an appointment on my bday last minute since I have only 3 hrs to spare and she made it possible to give me the balayage that I wanted. 364 days later, and I'm back in a salon chair. Almost a year ago (just shy of a day) I impulsively decided to chop off 20 inches of my hair. It was my first time getting a straight cut above my shoulders. Now, I came back for another cut. I wanted long layers and a v-cut. Shout out to Susan for doing a great job with my hair. Stephanie saved my hair! Before discovering this salon, I recently got botched blonde hair by a bad hairdresser before that also chemically burned my scalp. I was in desperate need to get my hair fixed asap because it looked so hideous, I couldn't even go to work. I got my hair redone by Stephanie in the shade I exactly wanted. Not sure how this place has so many good reviews?! No one here is even licensed, I asked to see their licenses as they were not in plain sight like they should be. And no one could provide them. I went in for a simple color touch up for dark brown nearly black hair. And left with hot brown roots!! Not sure how you can even mess that up but they did. Horrible experience! They used awesome cleaner ...yes a surface cleaner to wipe away excess dye from my skin!!! Such a horrible experience I will be reporting them to the board of cosmetology read more

Great! Expedient service! I went to this salon for a wash and straightening. I am a black woman and I had my doubts! Didn't think they could do it! I found them on YELP. I've been to this salon in the past before and this time coming back, I requested Tracy (the owner) to cut my hair. It's interesting that I was assisted by another employee and he washed and styled my hair before the haircut as instructed by Tracy. She then cut my hair and I left happy but later washed my hair and have seen the bluntness of the ends of my hair. For future customers, just be cautious to not have them style your hair before a haircut, because it will hide how heavy and bluntness your hair can be without the proper blend. My hair is already short and I have been wearing my hair up because it doesn't look too nice down. I will have to visit another salon to get the bluntness fixed and have everything blended properly for my hair to feel lighter. read more

Also Richard who is great with my 7 year old son, had a very hard time finding someone he would sit for and not cry. Not once has my son cried and he definitely is comfortable with. The man that did my hair color gave me a balayage with dark brown roots which were my original roots and ashy blonde for the balayage. I asked for a full color from brown to light honey brown with also some honey blonde highlights. I showed pictures aswell incase I wasn't describing correctly. Manager came to try and lighten my hair with toner. It did lighten a bit but my roots were still dark and I left with a completely different thing than what I asked. The only good part was Stephanie (the lady that cut my hair) was amazing at communicating and giving me a nice hair cut. Very sad abt my hair read more

It's Saturday afternoon and the light bulb came on that I need to do my hair. So I was pleasantly surprised when they responded in seconds to come in. 30 minutes later I'm at the salon. Parking lot is quite full from the neighboring shops. But not full where you have to circle. I was immediately greeted by Jason who sat me on his chair and started running his hands through my hair troubleshooting the best course of action. I literally came to the salon with no idea what to do. I just knew I didn't want my patches of grey hair and did not want to bleach. I'm on my way out of balayage and just need a transitional solution back to healthy hair that doesn't feel damaged. Jason got a second opinion from the owner who immediately recognized me as the yelp request person. She suggested I do a darker ash on top to cover my greys and a lighter ash on my damaged 6 month balayage. So Jason got started. The salon is a small quaint salon in Westminster. It's a bit messier than the higher end salons I've been to that offer coffee and snacks while your hair is being done. Nothing wrong with that, just clarifying if you're looking for atmosphere while you get your hair did, this probably isn't the place. After the color and toner was done, we went for wash. I love a good head massage, and was disappointed that is was just a regular wash. The product smelt amazing and whatever they used made my hair feel so much more smooth. I asked for a trim with curtain bangs. The cut was fine. Not bad and not amazing. But I am happy that he followed exactly what I asked for without chopping off more. The blow dry was ok. He didn't section it off so the inside and. Bottom still felt moist when I left. For those who have kinky or frizzy hair, you know a good complete blow dry is everything. I came home and styled it more to my liking. I'm adding photos after my styling. All in all, I'm giving them 4 stars. The service was fast and friendly, I accomplished what I wanted done, which was to cover my grey and have my hair feel healthier. You can see that my hair still has some patchiness of color but it's not noticeable to me unless I nit pick. Color, Cut, and Toner was $200. I tipped 20% so was this worth it? Not sure. But I'm glad I didn't spend $500 on balayage again. read more

Came here to get hair extensions. I have thick hair. And the hair extensions didn't blend. It was ugly in the back. You could see where my hair stopped and where the hair extension was. I'm not happy with the result. I wish it looked better. I ended up removing afterwards because it looked so bad. What a waste of money. The other part that was annoying; the hair extensions were blonde and were dyed red to match my hair. So, the part of the hair extension that is sewn/ taped in was blonde/ yellow and it stands out. How tacky. It is the wrong color and stands out. You can't put your hair up or do anything with it because the blonde shows. Gross. Overall, I am not happy and disappointed. I wanted long hair for an upcoming event. And it looks like that won't be happening. read more

Literally the worst hair salon I've ever been to. I left with orange hair when I asked for blonde. Horrible customer service from Kenny. Left me in the bowl w color on my hair for a whole hour. Finally a kind woman working there washed my hair for me after I sat there so embarrassed. I was so mortified by how yellow and orange my roots were I paid and left. I wish I wouldn't have. Horrible experience. Do not go unless u want to pay 500$ somewhere else to get ur hair fixed. Btw they charged me 280 and I don't even get my hair cut "he didn't have time". read more

Called the same day and was able to get an appt right away. I just wanted to get my bangs cut and styled and they quoted me at $20 which is a reasonable price because I've been quoted $50 for bangs at other salons like really? My stylist was Nick, he is amazing! I showed him my hair inspo pic and he was able to make my hair look so good! He noticed my hair was super dry and knotted so he ended up trimming it which was additional charge but I was fine with paying because I needed the trim lol. They are very nice here and reasonably priced. 10/10 would recommend read more

The salon was busy and livelyfor a Saturday afternoon, but there were a few staff still available for me to walk in. So the atmosphere was nice with music and conversation amongst patrons. I personally had a content time just peacefully enjoying my cut without any trouble. In the end, I managed to pay with Zelle. Understand they may not advertise it, they explain it was hacked before, but at least I got to leave with the cut I wanted without thinking too hard about what I owed, all in a good span of time.

Hair was looking choppy but I thought I should just trust the process. I heard her 11AM arrived while I was sitting. Girl why did you take me at 10:50AM if you have a 11AM? Anyways, It felt very rushed. Bangs are too short and look choppy. One side of my bangs are longer than the other. Hair has hardly any layers and when I look at the ends I see her define cuts. Probably the worst haircut I've ever had. I've been tying my hair and clipping the bangs up until it grows.

Unfortunately, most of the other times I visited, the staff seemed somewhat unfriendly. Yesterday, I brought both my daughter and my son in for haircuts. The salon did not seem very busy, so I asked if chị Hiền could cut my daughter's hair. She was busy, so I said anyone could take care of my kids. From the beginning, it felt like no one wanted to do children's haircuts. I'm not sure if it's because kids' haircuts are priced lower, but several stylists kept saying, "I have an appointment next" or "I'm busy." Eventually, one stylist agreed to cut my daughter's hair, and the front desk asked me to wait about 20 minutes for my son's haircut. I was perfectly happy to wait. However, the haircut itself was disappointing. Even my 8-year-old could tell it looked nothing like the reference photo we showed. He was just doing it the way he wanted despite I clearly told him what I wanted for my daughter's hair After waiting about 30 minutes while my daughter's haircut was being done, the front desk again asked if anyone could cut my son's hair. Once again, several stylists said they were busy or had customers. At that point I was frustrated and said, "That's okay, I don't need it anymore." What made it worse was that as I was leaving, I noticed a couple of stylists standing around without clients instead of helping with my son's haircut. I can honestly say that I've visited this salon three times, I tip generously, and I've never been picky. If you're considering this salon for children's haircuts, I would recommend looking elsewhere. In my experience, they do not seem to specialize in little boys' haircuts, and some of the staff are not particularly kid-friendly unless you already have a favorite stylist. Because of this experience, I don't think I'll be returning.

The haircut experience I had with Kenny at QT Salon was nothing short of disastrous, leaving me incredibly frustrated and even more concerned about my upcoming birthday. In addition to the botched haircut, I feel compelled to share the alarming and unsafe behavior displayed by Kenny during the appointment. Throughout the entire haircut, Kenny exhibited unprofessional conduct that raised serious concerns about both his skills as a stylist and the safety of the salon environment. Rather than focusing on providing a quality service, Kenny was dancing, singing, and swinging the scissors around in a careless and erratic manner while cutting my hair. The sight of a hairstylist behaving so recklessly with sharp tools while I was in the chair was not only disconcerting but also deeply troubling. The combination of Kenny's distracted and unprofessional behavior, coupled with his disregard for basic safety precautions, created an atmosphere that was far from the professional standards one would expect from a reputable salon like QT Salon. Unfortunately, the consequences of Kenny's actions became evident in the final result of my haircut. As I had specifically requested only a little trim (multiple times) and had emphasized over and over the importance of maintaining my hair length, it was devastating to discover that Kenny had completely ignored my instructions. Not only did he cut off much more hair than I wanted, but the overall outcome was also very choppy, uneven, and far from what I had envisioned. Realizing the severity of the situation, I promptly reached out to QT Salon's owner to express my disappointment and dissatisfaction. However, my attempt to voice my concerns and seek a resolution was met with so much rudeness, as the owner rudely hung up on me during our conversation. Subsequently, I sent a text message to communicate my grievances, but to this day, I have not received any response or acknowledgment. The cumulative effect of Kenny's unsafe behavior, the botched haircut, and the dismissive response from the owner has left me feeling even more frustrated and disheartened. It is disconcerting to witness such a lack of professionalism and accountability within the salon, which further reinforces my belief that this is an establishment that fails to prioritize customer satisfaction and safety. The timing of this unfortunate incident couldn't be more inconvenient. With just a week until my birthday, I now face the daunting task of growing out my hair as quickly as possible while simultaneously seeking the assistance of a more competent salon to rectify the disastrous layers inflicted upon me by Kenny at QT Salon. It is deeply unfortunate that instead of being excited and confident for these special occasions, I am now burdened with the additional stress and inconvenience of having to seek a remedy elsewhere. In conclusion, my experience with Kenny at QT Salon was nothing short of disastrous. I had a great experience at QT Salon and I'm really happy with my new look! I called last-minute early in the morning, and Phuong Thao, the owner, was so accommodating, fitting me in right away. She and Ken, the hairstylist, took time to understand my preferences, discussing styles and reviewing photos to find the best look for me. Ken's attention to detail was impressive, especially with the digital perm. He explained the process and made sure the waves turned out just right. My hair has a soft, natural wave that I love. I recently visited Jason at QT Salon and I have to say, I am beyond impressed with his skill and Tracy's excellent customer service. The first time I came in, I didn't communicate my color vision very clearly, and the result wasn't exactly what I had hoped for. However, Jason was so understanding and professional, and instead of brushing it off, he took the time to really listen and figure out how to fix it. I've had blonde ombré/balayage hair for about 10 years now but the last few times I've gone to get my hair done at other salons, they could never achieve the color and lightness I wanted. My aunt suggested that I should go to QT for Kenny to work on my hair AND HE DID AN AMAZING JOB, I LOVE IT!! It was exactly what I envisioned and matched the inspo pics I showed him. He was also extra careful to make sure I didn't leave with damaged hair. I'll be coming back to Kenny for future hair coloring and cuts! My sister and cousin came along and both got a haircut by Thao and they loved it too! She did a great job on their hair, we'll all definitely be coming back. I had a wonderful experience at QT Salon in Westminster. Richard cut my hair, and he did an excellent job. The salon has a welcoming, professional feel, and even though there can sometimes be a small language barrier, Richard understood exactly what I wanted and delivered one of the best haircuts I've ever had. The quality, attention to detail, and price were all excellent. I really appreciate the care he put into making sure the cut looked clean, flattering, and polished. I came here by referral of my friend, who always has amazing hair. And to tell you the truth, the guy named Tony was really good. I'm the type of girl that just walk into any salon and get a cut. I suddenly thought I wanted to do my hair "TODAY" and searched for a good hair salon near me. After carefully looking at so many pictures, I messaged Tracy. She got back to me quickly, and I could have done my hair "TODAY" yay! Honestly, it's my best color ever!!! I have tried lots of hair salons, including Korean, Japanese, and Vietnamese. Had a phenomenal experience at QT Salon this week with Tracy! She was caring and very detail oriented with the style I want with my face shape. It was clear that she knew exactly what I was looking for. In less than an hour she completely refreshed my hair and I left the salon feeling incredible. I am still in awe of the before and after photos. The salon itself was great too - everyone I spoke with was so nice and they made sure I was comfortable the entire morning. Thuy has been my hairdresser for almost 20 years now. I moved to NC and have not found anyone like her over there, so each time I come visit OC, I always make sure that I visit her and she's always able to accommodate me even with her busy schedule:) When I got there, I just showed her a pic of the hairstyle that I like. I've been seeing Susan for over a year now, and she consistently does an incredible job. Today, she dyed my hair beautifully and gave me a perfect haircut, exactly as I wanted.
