I reached out with my hair dye request on Yelp. Tracy was very responsive and scheduled me immediately, which I really appreciated. My hairstylist, Annie, was absolutely amazing. She was incredibly thorough with my hair, lightening it for the purple dye, and ensuring that the dye was permeating through my hair strands. She also provided me some great tips on how to maintain my color and how to redeposit color into my hair to ensure the bright purple. Also I really appreciate her working late into the night to finish coloring my hair. She was also super sweet and offered me snacks during our appointment. I couldn't have asked for a more amazing service and dye job!

What an amazing experience I was greeted very well with taking good care of my Susan. She did exactly as I asked and achieved much more and under two hours was able to achieve such a amazing results thank you so much

First time coming here, they took me in as a walk in and were really nice even though I was unsure and a bit nervous about getting my hair cut. They were very precise and thorough when cutting my hair and doing layers. I have pretty thick, straight hair, and they did a great job giving me a medium hush cut! Was a little apprehensive about it not looking like the inspo pic after they styled it, but after washing my hair at home, it looks exactly like what I wanted!

Saw their reviews and had to check it out because they've done red hair. I texted them beforehand if they can get me from grown out brown hair to a red coppery brown and they said they can do it. They got me in quickly and Annie greeted me. She was straight up and mentioned that my inspo may not be achievable but we can try since i didn't want to bleach my hair. After that, I let her do her thing. It turned out great and she got my hair to a nice red with some copper brown tones. She was so fast it only took 2 hrs for the whole process! Will come by again to get it toned!

Obsessed!!!!! I have been looking non stop and researching through Yelp for weeks to find a hair stylist. Qt Salon kept popping up and I messaged them through Yelp. The owner was super responsive within minutes. Even when I called the day of for availabilities, she was assertive and helpful! I went in for a layered haircut a week ago with QT Salon which brought my hair back to life(unfortunately, I didn't get his name who cut my hair, but he was the man with the super blond hair) super fast and absolutely knew what he was doing. I decided a week later that I can finally do what I wanted to do which was a wavy perm. I felt confident going back to them and really appreciated how efficient they were. ANNIE helped me do my wavy perm and I have never met anyone that cared so much about hair to explain every single detail out to me in what she was going to do. She gave me so much helpful information on how to take care of the curls, what product to use, how to use the product and all in all how to care for my hair. I felt so comfortable and trusted her within minutes. My hair is a life changer and I LOVE LOVE it so much. Annie was even sweet enough to ask if I wanted a snack or anything next door if I was hungry during the entire process. She was magnificent and this will be my go to from now on.

I walked in today with my hair in the worst shape of its life. Brassy and orange and frizzy and damaged. I used a bottle from an unknown company. And then tried to fix it not once but twice with 2 different people that said they could help. I was leery but I had to trust Susan and thank God I did! I came across this QT hair salon. Everyone was very nice and attentive. My hairstylist was Stephanie, she is hands down one of the best there. She really cares about how to fix my hair to the color I wanted and not damaged it but with proper care and her professional skills made my hair transformation beyond my expectations. I got the golden brown balayage and keratin treatment and it's so worth it for my dry and damaged hair over many years of bleaching. I can't thank her enough and will always come back to Stephanie for more hair services and will recommend all the people I know to give this place a try and you will not be disappointed! I've been seeing Stephanie for years and she's been such an essential part of my life. She always tells me her honest thoughts about different styles I wanna try and whether or not it'll look good on me. She's so fast at cutting and is so professional! It was my first time getting a straight cut above my shoulders. Now, I came back for another cut. I wanted long layers and a v-cut. Shout out to Susan for doing a great job with my hair. I opted in for shampoo and conditioning. She also styled my hair. She recommended curtain bangs and taught me how to style it. I absolutely love my haircut. It cost $65 before tip. I'm planning on making this a yearly tradition before my birthday, so I'll definitely be back again!

Overall an okay experience. I was able to call in same day and get an appt, I asked about cost over the phone and they had said around 50 for a haircut and wash and style. Wash was a basic wash (1 wash and rinse) The cut was done by Jennifer, who was very sweet. And a male assisted in drying out hair and evening out the ends. All was good, but only concern was the pricing discrepancy. Total was $70, a bit off from the pricing quoted over the phone. I believe in knowing pricing upfront, so this was an interesting experience. I didn't mind paying $70 for a haircut, I've actually paid more at other salons but the experience is up to par and you get what you paid for. But definitely ensure you confirm pricing at the salon. read more

Probably the worst haircut I have ever had. I have long thick hair and when I asked if they worked with this type of hair, she said yes and that "white" salons cut Asian hair the wrong way. So I decided to try it because I was looking for a new place. She started cutting my hair right away without me even having a chance to describe what my hair needs. Now I have super short layers in the back that I cannot get to lay flat so I have literally been having to wear my hair up every single day. Straightening, curling, everything makes my hair look terrible and she took so much off its going to take me months to grow it back. Also I don't think any of their tools have been sanitized in a long time. I ran home and showered immediately. read more

1 star - Extremely unprofessional and upsetting experience From the very beginning, the hair service itself was careless and poorly done. Phuong Tran did not properly part my hair, cut in a messy, rushed way, and showed no attention to detail. What were supposed to be layers are not layers at all. Despite me clearly asking for a light trim, he cut almost 7 inches off my hair without my consent. My hair was something I deeply cared about, and losing that much was devastating. This wasn't a small mistake--it was a major, irreversible change that left me deeply hurt and upset. On top of the terrible haircut, his behavior was completely unprofessional. He was rude throughout the appointment and hit me in the head with the blow dryer, which he did not properly acknowledge or apologize for. He also made me extremely uncomfortable by hitting on me and asking if I had a boyfriend, which is unacceptable in a professional setting. When I stood up, he was staring at my body, and I witnessed him doing the same to another woman walking by--he literally stopped cutting my hair mid-cut to turn and stare. While brushing my hair, he showed no care at all, ripping through knots instead of gently detangling. This experience was not just a bad haircut--it was emotionally upsetting and uncomfortable. I left feeling disrespected, hurt, and extremely disappointed. I will not be returning and do not recommend this stylist. Everyone else in the salon was nice and polite that was the main issue. read more

Although the lady that helped me was nice, I would not recommend this place. I asked for bangs and a hair trim. I wanted my hair to look similar as singer Ella Langleys hair. I unfortunately got a hair cut really uneven, and bangs that was no wear near as similar as the inspo pictures I showed the stylist. When I left I was ok and I thought I could work with what I was given but no I had to go to another hair salon to have it fixed. Especially after day 2 after I washed my hair and seen how uneven it truly was. This shop does accept Zelle but I'm not to sure if other clients had their hairstylist take a picture of the transaction "just to make sure it went through".... I did reach out to the manager here and told her everything. She did say sorry and that I can come in to get my hair fixed free of charge. Which was nice. Nonetheless I just could not risk coming back in again. read more

Susan is my all time favorite go to person. I wanted a perm and a haircut, and she instantly knew what style I was going for. That really shows how skilled she is in her profession. I usually get nervous about bad haircuts, so I tend to show the photo multiple times, but Susan only needs to see it once. She also remembers you and your haircut preferences. I went over all pricing and the services I wanted before even booking, and drove an hour for this appointment. When I arrived, I was suddenly told my extensions couldn't be dyed and that I'd need to purchase entirely new ones to achieve the color I wanted, despite the fact that they are real hair and I've had extensions dyed before for 10+ years. The stylist refused to do it. I then proceeded with the extension install, but the stylist didn't even have the proper adhesive and as a matter of fact, he didn't have adhesive at all! Yet he still wanted to install them incorrectly. Less than half of my extensions were installed before he said he was done. My extensions immediately began falling out in clumps while brushing, washing, or even just touching my hair (which I noticed before I even left the salon). When I brought this to the manager's attention before paying, I was dismissed and refused any correction or solution. I was still charged full price and left feeling humiliated and extremely upset crying. I later went to two other extension specialists who confirmed my extensions could have been dyed and that they were installed improperly. I now have to pay to have them removed and redone. This was a truly awful experience. I would not recommend this salon, and I hope no one else has to go through what I did. My hair extensions are falling out and being wasted now, my hair did not get dyed or cut either. Here are all the photos that prove what a truly awful hair experience I had. read more

I was also charged for additional services that were not clearly discussed or approved in advance. I have been going to QT Salon since 2022 and the reason why I keep coming back is because hair stylist Tina is the best! I needed help with donating my hair and we have gone through two full hair donation cycles together. She has given me so much information and advice on how to keep my hair healthy in between donations. She keeps my hair stylish through both the short and long phases. Most recently, she was able to help me achieve curtain bangs on a short hair style even though it's usually done on long hair lengths. In addition, my hair is parted to the side so I was nervous that the curtain bangs wouldn't look good but she made it work. I am so grateful that I gave this place a chance and got Tina on my first visit. read more

Unfortunately I wouldn't come here again for a haircut because their prices are very steep, $50 for just a trim. I have long layers and just needed a 1 inch trim/reshape. It was good but I've definitely had other affordable options that do the same! I will say, I have not gotten my hair colored here which seems to be what they are known for. read more

From the beginning, it felt like no one wanted to do children's haircuts. I'm not sure if it's because kids' haircuts are priced lower, but several stylists kept saying, "I have an appointment next" or "I'm busy." Eventually, one stylist agreed to cut my daughter's hair, and the front desk asked me to wait about 20 minutes for my son's haircut. I was perfectly happy to wait. However, the haircut itself was disappointing. Even my 8-year-old could tell it looked nothing like the reference photo we showed. He was just doing it the way he wanted despite I clearly told him what I wanted for my daughter's hair After waiting about 30 minutes while my daughter's haircut was being done, the front desk again asked if anyone could cut my son's hair. Once again, several stylists said they were busy or had customers. At that point I was frustrated and said, "That's okay, I don't need it anymore." What made it worse was that as I was leaving, I noticed a couple of stylists standing around without clients instead of helping with my son's haircut. I can honestly say that I've visited this salon three times, I tip generously, and I've never been picky. If you're considering this salon for children's haircuts, I would recommend looking elsewhere. In my experience, they do not seem to specialize in little boys' haircuts, and some of the staff are not particularly kid-friendly unless you already have a favorite stylist. Because of this experience, I don't think I'll be returning.

The haircut experience I had with Kenny at QT Salon was nothing short of disastrous, leaving me incredibly frustrated and even more concerned about my upcoming birthday. In addition to the botched haircut, I feel compelled to share the alarming and unsafe behavior displayed by Kenny during the appointment. Throughout the entire haircut, Kenny exhibited unprofessional conduct that raised serious concerns about both his skills as a stylist and the safety of the salon environment. Rather than focusing on providing a quality service, Kenny was dancing, singing, and swinging the scissors around in a careless and erratic manner while cutting my hair. The sight of a hairstylist behaving so recklessly with sharp tools while I was in the chair was not only disconcerting but also deeply troubling. The combination of Kenny's distracted and unprofessional behavior, coupled with his disregard for basic safety precautions, created an atmosphere that was far from the professional standards one would expect from a reputable salon like QT Salon. Unfortunately, the consequences of Kenny's actions became evident in the final result of my haircut. As I had specifically requested only a little trim (multiple times) and had emphasized over and over the importance of maintaining my hair length, it was devastating to discover that Kenny had completely ignored my instructions. Not only did he cut off much more hair than I wanted, but the overall outcome was also very choppy, uneven, and far from what I had envisioned. Realizing the severity of the situation, I promptly reached out to QT Salon's owner to express my disappointment and dissatisfaction. However, my attempt to voice my concerns and seek a resolution was met with so much rudeness, as the owner rudely hung up on me during our conversation. Subsequently, I sent a text message to communicate my grievances, but to this day, I have not received any response or acknowledgment. The cumulative effect of Kenny's unsafe behavior, the botched haircut, and the dismissive response from the owner has left me feeling even more frustrated and disheartened. It is disconcerting to witness such a lack of professionalism and accountability within the salon, which further reinforces my belief that this is an establishment that fails to prioritize customer satisfaction and safety. The timing of this unfortunate incident couldn't be more inconvenient. With just a week until my birthday, I now face the daunting task of growing out my hair as quickly as possible while simultaneously seeking the assistance of a more competent salon to rectify the disastrous layers inflicted upon me by Kenny at QT Salon. It is deeply unfortunate that instead of being excited and confident for these special occasions, I am now burdened with the additional stress and inconvenience of having to seek a remedy elsewhere. In conclusion, my experience with Kenny at QT Salon was nothing short of disastrous. I've had blonde ombré/balayage hair for about 10 years now but the last few times I've gone to get my hair done at other salons, they could never achieve the color and lightness I wanted. My aunt suggested that I should go to QT for Kenny to work on my hair AND HE DID AN AMAZING JOB, I LOVE IT!! It was exactly what I envisioned and matched the inspo pics I showed him. He was also extra careful to make sure I didn't leave with damaged hair. I'll be coming back to Kenny for future hair coloring and cuts! I had such an amazing experience here at QT Salon. My hairstylist was Katherine / Kathleen. She was so good at taking care of my hair. What I loved most was that she got straight to the point, asked for my inspirational photos, and got right to dying my hair. I'm not someone who loves to chit chat so I had an amazing experience just watching this artist do her thing. I came in with an old balayage - it was grown out half way through my hair length. The salon has a welcoming, professional feel, and even though there can sometimes be a small language barrier, Richard understood exactly what I wanted and delivered one of the best haircuts I've ever had. I came here by referral of my friend, who always has amazing hair. And to tell you the truth, the guy named Tony was really good. I'm the type of girl that just walk into any salon and get a cut. She did the roots for me for my color, not sure what color it was but I trust her. Them greys were darken. Yay. I showed her a different picture of layers that I wanted and boy, did I get layers. She would tell me she cut off 2 inches, so that's always nice to hear before your hair being cut off. She told me she went a little shorter with the layers and I was good with it because when I clip my front hair back, the shorter front layers falls naturally to the side and it looks lovely. She also added a gloss or something to make my hair look shiny and healthy. Since I've been going to see Mina, my hair isn't dry and damaged as before. So tempted to get a perm one day. Lots of clients (male and female) getting perms, coming in like a revolving door. I inquired what type of perms they do and Mina explained they do digital, rods and another type which I forgot. But the last type is the one that gives more volume to the hair. Who doesn't want va va voom volume. I always look foward to coming to see Mina. I luv luv luv my shorter layers. Thank you, Mina!!

She washed, cut, and styled my hair. I was done in an about an hour. She is fun to talk to and I would get my hair cut from her again. She's an experienced hairstylist that doesn't need much direction. I asked her to, "Please make me look pretty and lighten my hair because I have a lot. Need a trim. Whatever looks good with some layers." I think she did a good job! (18/100)

Browsing Instagram found Jasmine, her videos kept popping up and the work shown was beautiful…read more After spending a lot of time reviewing, I decided to book with her. I admit, I was apprehensive because my hair has red undertones. In the past, I've had stylists leave me with red or brassy hair after highlights. I searched for months before finding her and I felt she could achieve what I was looking for. I arrived about 10 minutes before my scheduled appointment. A gentleman greeted me and let me know Jasmine was on her way. She arrived about 10-15 minutes late, which made the appointment feel somewhat rushed from the beginning. Jasmine was friendly and pleasant. Before the appointment, I had sent several inspiration photos, and we reviewed them again in person. I also explained that my hair naturally has red undertones and that I wanted that taken into consideration during the coloring process. She applied the highlights, and I sat under heat for approximately 15 minutes. Then came shampooing. The shampoo portion of the appointment was unfortunately uncomfortable. I'm 5'0", and the shampoo chair didn't fit me well, so I was asked to bend my legs and place my feet on the chair while keeping my body pushed forward so my hair would reach the sink. Normally, this is my favorite part; relaxing while having my hair washed. It ended up being awkward and difficult to get comfortable. In addition, the water temperature wasn't checked before rinsing, and it was hot enough to burn my scalp for several seconds. After the rinse, Jasmine applied a toner. I was a little confused because I noticed my roots becoming noticeably darker, but I trusted the process. I assumed everything would look different once it was rinsed and dried. Unfortunately, after the toner was removed, my concerns were confirmed. My roots were much darker than I had requested, the blonde highlights were far less visible than I expected, and my hair still had noticeable red/brassy tones. I mentioned that it looked too dark, but Jasmine assured me it was blonde. After my hair was blow-dried, Jasmine began recording videos of me for social media without first asking for my permission. She directed me on how to pose and corrected me when I wasn't doing it the way she wanted. I would have appreciated being asked before being filmed. I also feel the salon lighting, including ring lights used for Instagram content, made the finished color appear brighter than it actually looks in everyday lighting. I do think the camera exposure must've had a white balance to give it such a blonde appearance after the blow dry. The result I saw in the salon is not what I see at home. There are several factors causing this: the lighting, the camera exposure, and I believe the toner. The toner must've washed out/settled or something. I haven't had a toner change so drastically. Ultimately, I believe there may have been a communication barrier. I am not sure she fully understood what I was trying to achieve. I paid $340 for full highlights and an additional $30 to tone one clip-in extension. She asked for a deposit of $60 when I made the appointment. Unfortunately, I left disappointed with the results. I will need to wait several weeks before another stylist can safely attempt to correct my color. While Jasmine was kind and professional in her demeanor, I was not satisfied with the outcome and, based on my experience, would not return for service in the future.
