1 star - Extremely unprofessional and upsetting experience From the very beginning, the hair service itself was careless and poorly done. Phuong Tran did not properly part my hair, cut in a messy, rushed way, and showed no attention to detail. What were supposed to be layers are not layers at all. Despite me clearly asking for a light trim, he cut almost 7 inches off my hair without my consent. My hair was something I deeply cared about, and losing that much was devastating. This wasn't a small mistake--it was a major, irreversible change that left me deeply hurt and upset. On top of the terrible haircut, his behavior was completely unprofessional. He was rude throughout the appointment and hit me in the head with the blow dryer, which he did not properly acknowledge or apologize for. He also made me extremely uncomfortable by hitting on me and asking if I had a boyfriend, which is unacceptable in a professional setting. When I stood up, he was staring at my body, and I witnessed him doing the same to another woman walking by--he literally stopped cutting my hair mid-cut to turn and stare. While brushing my hair, he showed no care at all, ripping through knots instead of gently detangling. This experience was not just a bad haircut--it was emotionally upsetting and uncomfortable. I left feeling disrespected, hurt, and extremely disappointed. I will not be returning and do not recommend this stylist. Everyone else in the salon was nice and polite that was the main issue. read more

This place was honestly horrible. Unprofessional and didn't ask anything about my hair history leading up to the coloring, resulting in them blaming me for not bringing it up. My hair ended up looking NOTHING like the reference photo I showed them even though one of the ladies working on my hair said that she "got the color down" and "liked the color" I chose. Me and my friend got quoted $250 and when we got there was told that it was $380. Because the color turned out so horrible they decided to offer a free trim, which was rushed and poorly cut. IT WASN'T EVEN A TRIM, she proceeded to take off more hair than I would prefer and worked so fast/sloppily that I had no time to react (especially plus the fact that I was more busy looking at how YELLOW and botched my hair turned out). They didn't even dye up to my roots and gave me highlights when my reference was one color. It looks like I have grown out roots already even after they offered to fix it. In the end, she wanted to discount my coloring to $300. INSANE--given that it was NOTHING like I wanted, the haircut was rushed, and they spent 99% of the time trying to convince me that there was "nothing they could do." If that was really the case, say that BEFORE you start putting crap on my head. She also mentioned that the price included what she did to my roots at the end to fix the yellowness to which I responded, "you had to do my roots again because you messed up the first time." She said something along the lines of "no" and tried to convince me that $300 was a valid amount to pay. I ended up paying $280 plus tip. They apologized and asked us to not leave a bad review. Do not come here. I took my son here and in the middle of his cut, he got pushed around to 3 different people in the middle of his cut. Instead of making a customer wait their turn, they just moved my son in the middle of his cut to another stylist. Happened 3 times in 1 session. Very unprofessional. On top of that, they did not even cut it like the picture we showed them. Then one of the stylist made unsolicited remarks about a bump on face and how I need to remove it because it's not pretty because he wanted me to get it removed my him since they do some cosmetic procedures. I needed help with donating my hair and we have gone through two full hair donation cycles together. She has given me so much information and advice on how to keep my hair healthy in between donations. She keeps my hair stylish through both the short and long phases. Most recently, she was able to help me achieve curtain bangs on a short hair style even though it's usually done on long hair lengths. In addition, my hair is parted to the side so I was nervous that the curtain bangs wouldn't look good but she made it work. I recently got my hair done by a friends friend and it didn't turn out well at all. So I had to find somewhere to fix it and reached out to a few salons on a Monday night thinking I would have to wait till later in the week to get it fixed... But QT Salon responded and said that they could get me in right away, which was awesome for a Monday night... Since most salons are not open on Mondays. I got there and Stephanie came and took a look at my hair and sized up the damage and what would need to be done. She spent a lot of time really making sure that she could fix what had been done previously and did honestly a lot more work than what I paid for, but still charged me a very fair price considering I was paying again to fix something that I had already done... It wasn't her mistake to fix, but she still was very kind and was willing to work with my budget which I greatly appreciate... I would highly recommend Stephanie at QT Salon. I scheduled an 11:00 am appointment with Tracy for a root color, tone, and haircut. When I arrived, I was told she wasn't there yet and another stylist had to call her to let her know I had arrived. When I spoke with Tracy on the phone, she asked if I could wait 10-15 minutes, and since I wasn't in a rush, I agreed. However, she didn't arrive until close to 11:30 am, which immediately made me feel like my appointment may have been forgotten. I had booked through Yelp messaging, so it's possible there was a communication breakdown, but as a client, it didn't leave a great first impression. While I was initially happy with how the overall color looked from a distance, the experience itself was very disappointing. There were hair dye spots all over my face, and the bleach product that was applied around my forehead resulted in what appears to be a chemical burn. The ammonia smell during the toning process was extremely strong - strong enough that I had to request a towel to cover my face because it was burning my nose while I tried to breathe. I have had many hair services done in the past (ombre, balayage, bleach, partial and full highlights), so I'm pretty familiar with the typical process and smell of toners - specifically semi-permanent products. Based on my experience, I strongly believe she used a permanent dye which isn't ideal because of how harsh it was and how much more damaging it is vs. semi-permanent dye. Additionally, the haircut is uneven in the front. From the back it's not very noticeable, but when my hair is pulled forward, the right side is visibly longer than the left (by about half an inch). I was honestly caught off guard given the many positive reviews I had seen prior to booking, but I should've been more thorough. I don't leave reviews lightly, but I feel it would be a disservice not to share my experience. I hope the business takes this feedback seriously and uses it as an opportunity to improve client care and quality of service moving forward. Unfortunately, I will NOT be returning. read more
