We found the perfect place, La Verne Landing! First off let me tell you it is super close to everything, campus, downtown and the new soon to be open Goldline Station, which is amazing. The area is so clean and super cute neighborhoods surrounding the Landing. She rides her bike all over, and when we visit we ride bikes to downtown to grab a bite or an adult beverage in one of the many restaurant's. The place has super convenient parking in the enclosed structure and on the street above on the ground level. The interior is rather secure with the coded fencing and the layout basically surrounds most of the units, which gives it a secure atmosphere. The security cameras are a nice touch. The other residents/students seem to be focused on their studies or sports, and it can be kinda quiet most of the time. The staff that manage, clean and do the administration aspects of running this complex are top notch. Super friendly, polite and above board professional. They totally understand what the needs of their residents and their parents concerns are. The grounds are maintained superb and the units are nice and clean. If you have a child who is needing a place to live in this area for college, I highly recommend the La Verne Landing.

She was incredibly responsive, professional, and went above and beyond to help me find the perfect rental. Chris first attempted to sell us a house that we believed to be overpriced. My husband and I passed on the property and then asked the agent / developer if he had any additional properties for sale, and he said "No". But it wasn't long before we came across an even better property that was newly built and for a lot less. Then to our surprise, the 2-story house was also owned by Chris. After our offer was accepted, my husband and I contacted Chris and asked him why he didn't inform us about the new house that was available. Chris said in an irritated tone, "It slipped my mind". Seemingly embarrassed, Chris became angrier due to being confronted or caught. Despite how polite my husband talked to him, Chris was disrespectful and continued raising his voice and speaking over him. Chris told us that he would call us the next day, but he didn't. Though he accepted our offer for his house, he would end up not keeping his word. I am not in a hurry to buy a home and have nothing personal against Chris. I just wanted to tell our story because I believe it is a cautionary tale for others. Good luck!

MW is now a better and nicer community to live in. ******************************************************* My husband and I bought our condo here one year ago. We decided to buy over continued renting in order to have equity and invest that into a future single family residence. Mission Woods was what was in our budget at the time so we settled on this complex to buy. We've been back and forth on whether it was the right decision or not. I don't know if we just drew bad luck with our neighbors or if it's like this throughout the complex but we've had several problems with ours including stolen packages. Luckily, we were able to put a stop to it by confronting the culprit's parents face to face. From what I've observed, most of the apartments/condos are not inhabited by the owners, but rather by renters. This makes it less likely they're as invested in the complex as owners. The complex is nice with a tennis court and pools. There is ample parking for residents and guests. It has the potential to be a really great place to live, but there has to be greater effort put into the observation of the HOA rules and landlords being held accountable for their tenants. We just want to live here long enough to save up and sell and buy a single family home.

The first was when I initially moved into my home. There were some loose wires that needed to be taken care of because they were dangling. They reached out and gave me ample time to fix the issue. They also provided me with materials to complete the work. The second time I had to deal with them was for roof repair. They had someone come out the very next day to fix the damage. The other times were for architectural approvals. They were always very responsive and pleasant in communication. My assigned Association Manager is Brenda. She is very helpful and attentive. I would definitely recommend CMS. Keep up the great work! Dave

Last summer they painted the condos and took down the lights in the driveway and still haven't replaced them with new ones. Also they took down the addresses and a painter painted an address on a piece of wood and stuck it in the ground in the front area. It's good that no one has called the fire department or police because they would have a hard seeing in the dark. I complained to Yvonne Neighbor of CMS Managememt and it upset her and she sent me a letter saying I had ten days to paint my patio trim or I would be fined until I got it done. Felt this was harassment on her part because she sent a picture of the patio and it wasn't even my patio. This was about two months ago and still no progress on their side. A board member is testing out the lights they want, and that was about 3-4 weeks ago, so she can say her driveway is lit up but no one else's lit up.
