I just had Josh and Alexis to my house to clean my duct work and vents. These two young men are amazing. They went above and beyond.I couldn't get my vent covers off to clean them, but Josh was able too. That in itself was worth having them come out. This is my second time using Quality Air. Awful now part of my dryer duct is knocked off. Dan has come out twice, and first time the vent was not cleaned properly. Per my brand new dryer which was installed properly. Dan came out last Thursday, and recleaned the dryer line. After Dan left, I noticed that there was condensation coming from the dryer duct, so i called ABT to come do another dryer vent cleaning. They came out today, and couldnt even do the job because they alerted me that part of the dryer duct has come off. It was not off before because there was a clog, and after Dan came the clog was removed. I have pictures from ABT showing the dryer duct is now off. Dan knocked it off, and I am demanding Adam call me immediately. Either have someone fix this at your expense, or Im going to file suit. I have also sent an email which has my number. I chose this company based on positive reviews and the fact that they use a strong gas-powered vacuum. Giving 1 star since they didn't follow proper protocol: they didn't have proper tools to open a circular duct hole so they butchered the duct trying to attempt a circle with regular shears. They didn't have a fitting so they tried to stuff blankets to keep their plastic flex tube in place (massive vacuum leaks since the seal was terrible). They didn't cover the vents before starting to clean, so the suction was minimal at each vent/register. They also assumed the flow direction and got it totally wrong (ie they sucked from the return side but blasted dust from the supply side registers...so basically just pushed the dirt onto my HVAC coil and fan. Since they didn't check which were supply vs return, they sprayed disinfectant into the wrong side. These guys really had no idea what they were doing. read more

The service man arrived on time and explained what he was going to do. Issues is he did about 80% of what he stated. After attaching the vaccum to the heat side of the vent - He went upstairs and cleaned all but two of the vents - Both bathroom vents were never removed. When he came down to the first floor, he did not do the vent in the first floor bathroom. As far as the cold intake vents (Which I have 11 of them) He remove three of them. The service man asked if i ever had the furnace cleaned - I told him no. He shared the furnace should be cleaned every 3 to 4 years. I asked him what he will do to clean it - He told me for $99 he will use the compress air to spray the dust up to the vacuum and them he will use his finger to remove all the dirt from the blower cage, Although He did spray the air into the furnace and i did see his hand go into the blower cage, he was done with the cleaning of the furnace in less time 5 minutes. Not sure how great of a job he can do in 5 minutes. Over all the heated side of the ducts are cleanen than they were prior to him coming out. read more

A quick visit from these guys saved us $1,000. We've been having issues with our dryer actually drying our clothes. We'd have to run the dryer 2-3 cycles to get them dry. We had another company come out and "clean our vents" which apparently they either didn't do or did a bad job. I called Quality Air yesterday at lunch. They had a person at my house in the next 3 hours. I wish I would have taken a picture of how much lint they pulled out of the vent...it was the size of a medium dog. So instead of needing to buy a new dryer the current one is working like new again. read more

I went by the one sentence review of someone who obviously doesn't know his duct work from a hole in the ground. I have never had this done at my current home so there were no holes in the ductwork yet. When I saw what this jack ass was doing I wanted to kick him out. The hose that I helped him get through the basement window was round. The hole that he tried to make was barely oval. Then he comes in the house with a leaf blower and I knew then that I hired someone that took the short bus to school. WTH! So I took a couple of pills to calm down and I waited until he was finished. Of course he wasn't finished selling all the extras. He wanted to charge me more than double what I was quoted so he could sanitize them. I was told that the cleaning was useless if I didn't get it? I swear I just wanted to kick his shit to the curb for being so stupid. So I asked, then why are you doing it if it means nothing? He walked outside and when he came back I was told that he spoke to his manager and was going to give me 10 bucks off! Umm! Get Out! SO this fool makes the vents look like something from Frankenstein. I would see that the plate of sheet metal was bubbling from all the screws that he used and air would be leaking out. Then he took all the shards of sheet metal and left them on top of my garbage in the kitchen. Now this is the best part. Instead of asking for help. He started to pull the hose from the window well and it got stuck on the drywall. We have a finished basement and it does look quite nice. He just kept pulling, so I walked to the basement and I had had enough. I picked up the hose and shoved it out the window before he did anymore damage to my home. This is the last time that I take the advice from a Yelper that does not have a pic and gives every dog that walks by 5 stars. read more

After moving into our home, my wife and I realized the previous owner was a smoker and pet owner. My wife complained about the smokey smell for 3 years until she took the problem into her own hands and called this company. We had a coupon for all air ducts, dryer vents, and sanitizing. The workers (2) came to the house and were professional and humorous. I don't know how, but my wife no longer cries when we come home after leaving the house closed up for a few hours. One worker tried to sell me a few additional services, but what do you expect. He was understanding when I declined. I called on Monday of this week. Spoke to Cesar. He was clear and direct. I asked about pricing and had mistaken their company for another that had a Groupon. It was ok becuase their pricing was better than the Groupon (glad I called before I purchased). I would say - as a first timer in getting air ducts cleaned, I didn't have a lot of information abou what services are and why they are important, but that was resolved when Erik arrived to do the work. Cesar asked if I was available the next day, I scheduled them to come out today (Friday). Erik came out, explained the process and was super friendly. He explained what other services were available and showed me why I would want to have them done, but didn't pressure me into anything. He went around, cleaned and sprayed the air ducts and cleaned the furnace, as well as took pictures and videos for me to see the difference when they were cleaned. He was quick, in and out in no time, so I could stay focused on working while he did his thing. He also gave tips on how to ensure the filters in the furnace work the best. Here's to hoping we will have less allergens in the house. I would recommend them and will use them in the future for cleanings and possibly for my fireplace inspection and cleaning. read more

Made an appointment with this company to have our air ducts cleaned a week ago for a time that worked for both of us. They called in the morning said the person ahead of us had to cancel and they wanted to come earlier by me. I said that wouldn't work as I was already leaving work early to be at my home for the time we had set. Cesear the owner said they'd have to cancel then because he couldn't have his man waiting in that area for three hours but they would reschedule me. I said no thanks! I had never had this done before either. My kids both have severe allergies so thought it would surely help. I am very happy with the tech. that came to our home. He explained everything he did before he did it. He was very concerned about the pets we have not being disrupted by the loud noise of the vac. Before agreeing to having Quality Air in my home, I explained in detail that we had some mold issues that we had professional rectified, bad allergies, difficulty breathing, etc. Quality Air assured me they could clean our ducts and everything would be done properly. When the technician arrived, I again explained the situation regarding the mold, allergies, etc. At the time I didn't realize it but after doing research it appears as though covering up the vents during the cleaning is "standard practice". Our tech made a judgement call to not cover them up and we paid the price. We had an air mold test completed after the cleaning and the numbers were through the roof due to the air particles that had been pushed out from the air ducts and into the common areas in our home, which would not have happened if the vents were covered. (side note: we had to have a neutralizing air spray done and then another air mold test completed and everything came back within normal limits). It seems like a simple enough task to cover the vents but our tech took a short cut and I'm disappointed by that. Speaking of our tech...he was very emphatic, kind, and patient. Unfortunately, he made an error in not covering our vents. Mistakes happen and I can understand that. I called and spoke to a kind gentlemen in management and asked for a refund (even a partial refund would have been great). Quality Air denied providing me a refund of any kind but did offer to come back in my home to re-clean my air ducts (at no charge to me) with the proper procedure of covering my vents to prevent the air particles from flowing into the common areas of my home. As kind of an offer as that was, I declined now due to their less than ideal response of finding it acceptable that their tech made the wrong call of not covering our vents. The point of my review is to create awareness for folks looking for a thorough and complete air duct cleaning company. This company has answered my calls and gotten back to me as needed, which I can appreciate. I just wish there would have been a better resolution to my concern. When I get my air ducts cleaned again, I will go with a different company and make sure my vents get covered next time. read more

We had another company scheduled to do our duct work yesterday; they showed up & tried to charge us more than double of what they had quoted. As soon as we sent them on their way, we called Quality Air (saw their add in a flyer), asked for a quote, asked how soon they could do the work & they sent Rich within the hour. We don't know anything about duct cleaning, but Rich was knowledgeable, was down to earth, professional & a natural comedian. He was done w/in a couple of hours. We were charged what we were quoted, he offered suggestions on what we needed to do going forward & he went on his way. We instantly felt the air difference in our home. I have only used Quality Air for my single family home's duct cleaning. I have called them 3 times over the past 11 years and each time they were professional and reasonably priced. I've been asked if I want other services, but there was never pressure to change my "no thank you" to "yes". Got a coupon from the mail, it was reasonably priced and I decided to give this a try. So-so work at best. First, the tech just didn't seem like he felt like working today. I went around and pulled all the grills off of my vent openings. He just kind of walked around without any perceived direction, blowing a leaf blower in the vents. I had asked around, and none of my friends had had this work done, so I just kind of went with it. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. MOVE ON. read more

We received poor service, poor communication and Caesar the owner of Quality Air declined to provide proof that his employees actually cleaned our condo unit dryer vent. The company claimed to have cleaned from the outside. Every company used in the past cleans the dryer vent inside and outside the units. I would never recommend this company to anyone. FINAL UPDATE ON MY REVIEW 4 WEEKS AGO-- Quality Air Inc sent a different technician by the name of Austin out today (10-21-2016). The technician was very nice and knowledgeable. It has been confirmed today my condo dryer vent was NOT cleaned by the previous Quality Air Inc technician on 9-7-16 as I speculated and expressed to Caesar owner of Quality Air . Austin serviced my condo dryer vent starting from the interior to the exterior and pulled out a massive birds nest. My dryer is much better. After a long wait and battle I am VERY SATISFIED! Thank you Mr. Austin. I received the service today that I paid for back in September. Since my review is based on the Quality Air Inc and not the employee Austin I can NOT give 5 stars to Quality Air Inc. I had the chance to meet one of the technicians currently employed by this company, and even HE admitted the entire process is utterly ineffective. They employ the use of a LEAF BLOWER to "force air" through dozens of feet worth of ductwork, and then swear that this is an effective means to clear the vents of debris. At the end of the service, the technician will produce an old air filter covered in dust to provide "evidence" of a successful duct cleaning. The technician will manipulate your thermostat so that your furnace runs its fan only. A chimney sweep brush is then inserted into your main lines so that the fan can bring whatever dust is knocked loose into the filter. Nothing ever touches any of the multiple vents which branch off from the trunk lines. Furthermore, their "sanitizing" service is nothing more than diluted bleach water which the company purchases for 50 dollars a container. The container lasts several months. As a businessman, I am appalled. You have been warned. read more
