Our condo building organized for this company to come clean our dryer vents. After they did their service our dryer stopped getting hot/warm and is unable to dry clothes. They came back another day to fix it and were unable to, so they said they would send a specialist technician out. We have not heard from them since. We have already had to stay home from work twice for this, and now will have to take another day and spend money to have someone more reliable fix it. Not happy! Two-man crew, a huge vacuum causing negative pressure. A spider-like brush at the end of a long flex cable which attaches to a hand drill. Fed spinning brush into each duct to its full length. Injected high-pressure air into each duct to its full length. At my request they sprayed an encapsulating coating on the entire duct surface. They worked very hard, very professional, friendly. All questions answered We are very satisfied. I don't know of any other duct cleaning company that would do as much. read more

I had a small fire in my home. They were called in to clean our the ducts by the cleaning crew. Two guys came to my home. While I was upstairs, they were in the basement. The lights started flashing, so I went to the basement to find out why. The one guy was flipping breakers off and on. I asked what he was looking for, he didn't answer me but he looked over at his machine and noticed that his extension cord had dropped off the plug. He said nothing and went to plug in his machine. The same thing happened a short time later. The whole process lasted about four very noisy hours. The loose extension cord plug may be why later after they had gone, I noticed that an extension cord I owned was gone. Messing with my breaker box, and stealing my cord is not acceptable, and the fact that their office never bothered to answer me when I told them about it makes me say I wouldn't hire them again. read more

I joined this site just so i could write a review for these guys! amazing service!! My house was constantly covered in dust! I could not handle it anymore as my allergies made me miserable & it was harder to sleep at night. Our electricity bill was also atrocious as our cooling and heating were not working as efficiently. We finally made the call to Air Root duct cleaning services and I am beyond happy with the results! Juan explained to us every thing that he was doing and he even showed us before and after pictures of our ducts! the differences were amazing. He assured us that we will see a dramatic difference! We had a construction project in our home and desperately needed duct cleaning. We have had other services before but Airroot brought in professional equipment with a knowledgeable staff. The workers were respectful of our home. Laid tarps on the floors and were careful with all of our personal items that they had to move to access the ducts. The pictures of before and after were incredibly telling. Terrible company if I could leave zero start I would. The "genius" Shana Goronson is inept, laxidasical and unprofessional. Our condo association scheduled in-unit dryer vent cleaning. A schedule of unit numbers and an approximate time of arrival was rolled out based on the geniuses estimation of each unit take 20 minutes MAX. Long story short the crew ran further and further behind as the day moved on. They showed up to the property 20 minutes late so before they cleaned a single dryer vent the time schedule was ruined. As the day went on they were 40 minutes behind, then an hour, then 1.5 hours and then two hours behind for each appointment. THEN they decided to break for lunch. There was zero communication from the crew that pretended not to speak English. calls to the genius and Kevin Lazare who purports to be Vice President of Sales and Operations is absolutely useless and of no help. To sum up this experience this is the worst company to deal with. We chose them to not only do the building air dryer vent cleaning we brought them additional business by scheduling in-unit cleaning of 36 units, however, the slow crew of four, Kevin and The Genius act as if THEY were doing US a favor. If you are looking to give money to a business that doesn't give a crap about you as a customer, has zero regard for you or your residents, if you like dealing with the poor attitude of a low wage earner like Shana Goronson and a poor excuse for a VP as in Kevin please do hire Airroot. However, if you wish to be respected and believe in people/a company that communicates contract their competitor. read more

Update... We came back home after a long vacation and did not have hot water in home. We called few companies and decided to go with Air Root Mechanical. After they fixed we still had the problem and I called them again, Within no time those guys came back and found another problem which was due to over heating. But these guys fixed the problem in No Time. Juan and Louie are the best. They fixed our problem and now we have Real Hot water. Thank You guys for your prompt service and great staff. I cant say enough about Airroot! Juan and his guys are awesome! I purchased a foreclosed home and one of the items on the inspection report was the dryer vent. We hired AirRoot to clean ducts because our daughter has a nighttime cough. (Our friend who owns a fire and flood restoration company recommended AirRoot.)The 2 guys that came to clean were very well mannered and definitely spent the time to do a a thorough job. They put corner guards on door frames so the air hose wouldn't mark up paint, used drop cloths, and wore hospital booties. Before and after pics were taken so you could actually see the difference. They made sure to take care of my belongings by covering what needed to be covered and they put up guards to protect the paint on the corners of my walls.
