We learned the hard way that many companies make big promises just to win your business. In our case, we had over $500,000 in fire and water damage, and it seemed like everyone else was more concerned about their profit margins than helping us. Some even tried to play games with the insurance company by requesting payment for items that weren't warranted. ASAP Restoration was completely different. They were honest, upfront, and transparent from day one. They took the time to review every budget, selection, and step of the process with us, making sure we understood everything along the way. The entire team is outstanding, and Josh, the owner, truly leads by example. He tells it like it is, doesn't overpromise, and works tirelessly to make sure things get done the right way. His communication is second to none,I'd much rather have someone who over-communicates than leaves me wondering what's happening. Our biggest delay wasn't ASAP at all, it was our mortgage company and lender taking their time to release funds. Throughout that entire process, Josh worked alongside us every step of the way, helping us navigate the challenges and keeping the project moving whenever possible. The finished product looks incredible, and looking back, the extra few weeks it took to get on their schedule was absolutely worth the wait. If you're looking for a restoration company that values honesty, quality, communication, and truly cares about its customers, I can't recommend ASAP Restoration and Construction enough. Before the plumber even arrived, three different restoration companies showed up at my door. The strange part? I never called any of them and nobody told me anyone was coming out. I did overhear one of the technicians I allowed in for a "free evaluation" on speakerphone with the plumber asking if a $2,000 finder's fee sounded reasonable. I kept my mouth shut but it definitely raised some red flags. I listened to all three companies separately and then decided to do some serious research online. While some companies have plenty of glowing Google reviews, once you start looking at other sources like Yelp, the Arizona ROC, and the BBB, the picture can look very different. Consider this a friendly warning to homeowners: do your homework. After digging deeper, I was fortunate to find ASAP Restoration. One thing that immediately stood out is that they do not work referral deals with plumbers, do not pay kickbacks, and do not play games with deductibles. They simply focus on doing the job correctly. The team was extremely professional. The mitigation/demo crew handled the water damage quickly and thoroughly, and the reconstruction team has been excellent. We're now about 90% finished with the rebuild and everything is coming together great. I just felt the need to share my experience before heading out for spring break. If you ever find yourself in a similar situation, take a breath, do your research, and call a company that focuses on integrity and quality work. For me, that company was ASAP Restoration.

I had tenants move out without informing me about a water leak in the guest bathroom, which led to water damage that could have been prevented. To make matters worse, despite my lease stating no smoking whatsoever, the property had a lingering smoke odor--and even an extracurricular smoke odor--that I couldn't eliminate no matter how many times I treated the house myself. The team at 1-800-Water Damage was professional, thorough, and efficient. They not only addressed the water damage but also tackled the odors that had been impossible to remove. It's not easy to do that, so I respect him for it. Dan asked if I'd still be willing to consider an itemized quote from him for the work, and he sent a detailed one when I agreed. Then there was a long delay on my part, but when I finally accepted and signed the quote, he was on-site within a week and finished all the restoration work in 1 day.

Why? Because we didn't call for a week after it was installed. Wow. That's so long after the install. Because normal people bend over in their dishwasher and notice discrepancies right away all the time. I'm 6'1. I'm not going to see the top screw and how your boys cracked our cabinets right away unless I get on the floor. Nasur had the nerve to say to me, "Look at it from my shoes." No I will not. Look at it from MY shoes pal! Your boys f'ed up our cabinets and you are so disrespectful that you imply that WE did it. Screw your perspective! When you've done nothing wrong, you have nothing to hide. You, Mr. Curi, do have something to hide. The dishwasher was installed crooked and his people cracked the frame of our counter. He told my wife "I drove all the way out here from central Phoenix." Nobody cares how far you drove. We are the customer. You run the business. That's what you're supposed to do. He told my wife his guys took pictures of the screws being back in. We demanded to see them. And did we get to see them? No. What's the matter Nasur? Never tried to BS a woman with a brain? I took the picture attached. This is the top left side of the dishwasher. Then he admitted the screw on the right side was loose but according to him, loose screws don't fall out and apparently dogs don't eat screws also according to him. Your boys showed up on a Friday and struggled to get it out and never assessed the damage under our wood floors. They told my wife they'd come back on Monday and put the dishwasher back on crooked. Did they show back up on Monday? Nope! Gee, I wonder why. Could it be because you damaged our cabinets putting the dishwasher back in and didn't want to deal with it? I have $100 that says the pics Nasur took while he stood in our kitchen and insulted us in our own home will have the time stamp changed to cover his ass. This guy is a crook. I don't care how many years of experience you have. If you accuse a customer of basically fraud, you need to work on your people skills. I'm definitely telling every person I know about this garbage service we received. Go back to whatever hole you crawled out of in Central Phoenix and accuse someone else in their own home. Absolutely disgusting. Also reporting to the BBB.

After reading their excellent reviews, I decided to give them a call--and I am so glad I did. Everyone who came out to our house was incredible, friendly, and deeply professional. They made an incredibly stressful situation completely painless, and they treated our home as if it were their own. One important tip for future customers: This company focuses strictly on remediation, meaning they do not handle the reconstruction or repairs (like replacing drywall) once the mold is gone. This wasn't an issue for me--I simply called around and found a local contractor to patch things up afterward--but it's important to go in with the right expectations and always ask questions! The team members we worked with deserve individual recognition: Brandan came out first to rule out any active plumbing leaks. Once he confirmed the mold wasn't plumbing-related, he kindly offered to inspect the rest of our new home's plumbing. He caught a few minor issues, explained his recommendations clearly, and provided no-pressure quotes. We are so relieved to finally have a trustworthy plumber on speed dial! He then immediately looped in their mold specialist, Ruben. Ruben arrived the very same day to assess the mold and provide a fair quote. He was incredibly sympathetic to our situation and reassured us that he would remove as little material as possible while keeping the home safe and thorough. We immediately knew we were in good hands. A few days later, Ruben and Ivan completed the work. They were punctual, efficient, and surprisingly quiet. Not only did they finish on time, but they also managed to save an entire wall and our builder shelves. Because they saved the wall, Ruben actually adjusted our final invoice down to reflect the lower material removal--a massive financial relief for first-time homebuyers. Ruben took extensive photos, walked me through the containment zone to explain their findings, and even returned the next day to walk my husband through the exact same breakdown so we were both fully informed. The final report they provided was incredibly thorough, detailing every single step with photographic evidence. My husband can be very picky about contracted work, and even he was completely impressed and had zero critiques. We were so incredibly stressed, and the calm presence and expertise this team brought into our home was invaluable. After a separate, highly disappointing experience with a different local plumbing company just days prior, "Good Time" completely restored our faith in local businesses. Which seems kind of funny because why would you immediately believe that I was an ex employee rather than a previous customer. Seems rather silly when they knowingly hired sub-par subcontractors. I'm providing my response below: I trust the owner will be able to identify who I am since they've needed to return on more than one occasion for warranty work. The owner's assumption that this is a fake review is inaccurate. They are well aware of our project since we have had numerous warranty issues that they've had to come and fix. I was told my review was read and acknowledged. I was told the former project manager was a "dirtbag" and a "car salesman". I'm not sure why the owner is acting as though this review is inaccurate. I was also told that the subcontractors that were assigned to us are no longer with ACR. I find it kind of disappointing that the owner chose to discredit this review rather than just take accountability, especially being dismissive about the paint brush comment. Nothing in this review was rude or subjective; all based on facts -- most of which his employees have shared with me. Nevertheless, I fully expect the owner to go on the defensive to my edit as he has on all the other reviews. He is well aware of our project, the firing of our PM, the subcontractors that were assigned to my project, and the sub-par work done in my home -- which the person who completed our walk through commented on.

I called them to repair my house, and they handled it the same week at a decent price. I just moved out of my house, and during close, we encountered a plumbing issue... THEY ARE COMING OUT RIGHT NOW!!! . Just hire them to do everything for your house. Don't let anyone else touch it.
