Upon searching for the phone number for Quality, I ran across the one negative review for them here on Yelp. I felt compelled to share my experience. I too was referred to Quality through Allstate. The water heater tank in my finished basement leaked, ruining everything. My experience with Quality Carpet was extremely POSITIVE.
Their store has the largest selection of samples of every type of floor I have run across. I chose new carpet for the main floor in the basement and the steps leading down. After explaining to the salesman that I wanted to create a seperate area from the main space for a kitchenette, he assured me it could be done without problem. I chose a nice quality laminate floor for that area.
A measurer came out the following day to confirm my measurements. It took a few days to get the materials I ordered. The day of the install went perfectly. I told the head installer how I wanted the new kitchenette space done, and he made sure it was implemented exactly as how I envisioned it.
The steps leading down to the basement are not exactly "standard", and they covered them with the new carpet better than the previous company who had done the original install.
I also chose to install laminate flooring where I previously had linoleum for the laundry area. That came out very nice as well. After the install of the new appliances, some of the laminate got damaged. I also decided to extend the laminate area. One call to Quality Carpet for customer service was all it took to get my issue resolved to my satisfaction.
Six months after this job was done, I used Quality Carpet again at my mothers house. I wanted to carpet the steps to her basement and the mini-foyer before the steps. This job came out perfect as well.
It is a year since the original job was done, and everything has held up beautifully. I am now looking to replace 3 rooms of carpet at my mothers house. My 1st and only consideration for this job is Quality Carpet. read more
