We have a pretty expensive 12x9 Persian rug and wanted it to be cleaned properly, and not get taken advantage of. You read the reviews and wonder why some customers are so satisfied, and others ticked off like crazy. They were not the cheapest, on the other hand, my rug is an investment piece and I wanted it done right. In the end, I went with my gut and selected Royal Carpet. When Nick (Royal tech) came and picked up our rug, he accidentally tripped and broke the feeder tray in the printer placed next to the rug. After the carpet was cleaned and I called the office to schedule delivery, I spoke to Annabelle and she couldn't be more apologetic. She got in touch with the owner and they were gracious enough to offer to pay for the printer since it's nearly impossible to order certain parts from HP for the printer. I hung up the phone thinking these guys really do care about their customers. Nick returned the clean rug to us after we moved to our new apartment and he was very helpful in positioning the rug and furniture to my absolute liking. Great cleaning service. Not only have I used David for his mold abating services and was extremely satisfied as he came to my rescue but he also saved my rugs as well after my abatement as they were a little damaged after the flood I had in my apartment. I was on the verge of throwing it away and didn't even know David did carpet cleaning when he noticed my rug rolled on my balcony and asked to give him a chance to bring it back to life...and that he did! What an amazing job! I couldn't believe it was the same rug I was going to toss in the garbage. It looked brand new and he saved me 600 bucks that I was about to spend on a new one. Royal Carpet & Rug Cleaning saved my family and I from a huge disaster. We had a huge water heater leak that ruined our carpets and my moms beautiful oriental rug that she had bought when we lived in Japan over 20 years ago. Not only did they clean up the complete mess from the flood but they cleaned all the carpets in my home and restored the beautiful oriental rug that my mom loved so much. Seeing how upset my mom was they offered to clean the upholstery also for half of the price that they usually charge. These folks just cleaned my carpets, and they look wonderful. I had some tough stains and they came out. I'd like to tell you it's perfect -- but I cannot. There's one place where the stains came out mostly, but not all the way. As for the rest of the apartment -- my wall-to-wall carpeting looks great! Good Guys were on time, professional, friendly, and got down to business. They had everything they needed. They even told me my estimate of the size of my carpeted floors was smaller than I thought, so the job cost less than I expected. Cool! read more

Amazing just amazing. I dropped off three area rugs (8x14 5x9 and a an a runner) one of which was very expensive wool from Switzerland to be cleaned. Not only did they come back fresh and clean they smelled great! The staff was very helpful and took great care with my wool rug. When I came to pick them up they were wrapped nicely an returned in a timely manner. Royal carpet cleaning team are my guys when I clean my rugs before the New Years party I throw each year. Best rug cleaner in NYC hands down. Having two dogs takes a toll on my rugs. I would usually try to clean them myself but after many failed attempts and an interesting lingering dog + store bought rug cleaner smell I decided to call a professional. They were able to get out the pet stains as well as the scent, which was something I was skeptical about at first. I flew to Manhattan to visit my grandmother. While I was there, she went through her storage area for her "Spring Cleaning" and found me a very old Oriental Rug. It was pretty gross looking. Any Whosit, Mike came over to clean it for me. No only was Mike very professional but he took great care of the rug. We had three Persian rugs to be cleaned and two of them needed to be restored. We received several price quotes, which differed widely. Some of the vendors used questionable means to get the business. We were very pleased by the job RCRC did. The rugs came back beautifully restored.
