I wanted to take a moment and write a review on Mango Automotive off of Eagle Ranch in Albuquerque…read moreNM. From the beginning I noticed how customer oriented the staff at Mango Automotive were. From the moment I picked up the phone to when I dropped off my vehicle. The staff seemed thankful to just have me there. Lots of automotive shops usually have a bit of an attitude and in my experience, making you feel like they're doing you a favor. Not at Mango Automotive. The vehicle I brought in is a much older vehicle, and one they don't typically work on. Reason being, is my vehicle is unable to be hooked up to an On-Board Diagnostic (OBD) system. They were very polite in explaining to me that they don't normally work on vehicles without an (OBD) because they aren't set up that way, but because I had already brought it to them , they made an exception. After a few days of them having it, they called me and said my vehicle was ready to be picked up. They found several issues with the vehicle when reading the diagnostics report. When turning it over, the vehicle ran smooth, which it hadn't previously. I took the vehicle for a test run, but didn't feel it was up to snuff, so I quickly returned it to Frank Ward, the acting manager. I explained it wasn't accelerating properly. Frank asked me to leave it with him again, and that he would put his best guy on it. He apologized for the inconvenience. I really appreciate the professionalism this shop showed me and feel they do good and honest work. Thank you Frank and his team for getting my old truck up and running again! Sincerely Brent Q

It was under a one-year warranty parts and labor and for some reason the clutch was acting up so I took it to them and they told me it was a bearing that was rubbing. It was just a bad part so they replaced it. And got made back on the road. with no cost to me cuz it was under warranty. That is a great business. I Had my car at my mechanic earlier in the day, he did a diagnostic on my car and said alternator…read morewas going out so I scheduled the next day to have it replaced for $329.00 My mechanic had alternator with life time guarantee and 1/2 hr install , well I didn't make it home died in RR, SB says they have free towing so they towed it and replaced the Alternator for $640.00 they charged me $450 ish for the alternator, caught red handed doubling the price of alternator on me, I have it on paper. I have quote from Auto Zone, O'Reilly's, and my mechanic for OEM alternator for around $250.00
