I only meant to get things cleaned around the holidays but they did such a good job that it's a wonderful monthly treat. Each time we've had a cleaning we've been happy, in particular we appreciate Ana M.'s service and detail orientation. We request to work with Ana for our regular monthly cleaning but any member of the team provides a great service. The staff is equipped with their own supplies making it really hands off for the customer. I do like to declutter counter tops and tables to ensure she can get to surfaces, but she'll also neatly arrange stuff if a few stray items happen to be on a counter top. One of my favorite surprises is how she leaves towels, toilet paper, and paper towels in little flowers and bows. Each member of the team does this in different ways. It's a very small but nice touch to remind me that my home is fresher and that someone took care with that detail. Excellent company and service. Very professional and courteous.

Tuesday is my new favorite day because that's when The Organized Mama puts my life back together…read moreroom by room. 3 kids + a busy job= disastrous home! I've hired organizers in the past, but the majority of them require you to do the organizing with them...and if I had time to organize I won't need an organizer! They also leave my house in perfect condition and then a month later I'm back to where I started. A few months ago I had the genius idea (if I do say so myself) that I'd hire a weekly organizer to slowly get my house in order and then help me maintain it. I did a search on Yelp and beyond and discovered that there are many crazy people in this world who actually like to organize. I'd personally rather get a root canal. After chatting and even meeting with a few organizers I ended up going with The Organized Mama. I liked her personality (totally someone I'd be friends with), she didn't judge me as I took her thru my unorganized house and her hourly rate was inexpensive. Since then she's raised her hourly rate based on demand, but was cool enough to honor her original rate for myself and her other clients. Every Tuesday morning she enters my house and tackles a new room. Some rooms (like the kitchen) take longer than a week, but the wait is well worth it. So far she's worked her magic on my mudroom, kitchen, my daughter's hair accessory area (no joke- the girl has a lot of hair...and bows) and part of my office. She comes for a few hours and then bills me for the time she spent at my house + anything she buys (typically from the Container Store) to keep me organized. I only wish she could stay longer, but understand she has little kids of her own to get home to so will take any time she has. If you happen to be one of those crazy people who like organizing your own you'll absolutely love her blog. The tips and pictures she shares (almost) makes me want to start organizing my house myself, but then I know I can't do half as good of a job as Jessica.

It's been maybe a month since she came and that side of my closet still looks like the day she left. I'm not going to pay someone $65 per hour to purge my closet and organize my 250 sq. studio. I found SOS on Yelp. The 5-star reviews seemed questionable but after my experience, they deserve them! I started with a 3-hour appointment with Callie. She's an absolute doll. I am amazed by her creative organizing solutions! We went through my walk-in closet and kitchen. It helps to help. I couldn't just sit back and watch her organize my belongings. It can be tedious, but it's worth it! We accomplished A LOT. I couldn't have done it without her. I just don't have the motivation or drive. I can see my floor again! I found my favorite sweater! Everything makes sense now! I love, love, LOVE how organized my apartment is. I am so happy I found SOS and met Callie! I finally got it done! Plus: It feels nice coming home now.
