We were pleased to find they not only could mitigate the mold damage, but would pack out all belongings, perform mitigation, conduct repairs, and perform the move back into the unit upon completion. Throughout all steps, we received great communication with status, feedback for findings and recommendations, and coordination with insurance and HOA parties involved with the owners being at the focus of the company. Positive: The workmanship, as far as I can judge, was fine. They knew what they were doing and--eventually--got the job done. They also contracted with someone else to handle the asbestos abatement, and that proceeded without incident as well. Whenever I spoke to the staff or emailed them, they were always courteous and pleasant. No trouble there. However... Negative: Communications with this company were, to say the least, confused and chaotic. I received emails from what must have been over half a dozen people. At one point, it was getting so crazy that I finally complained about it, and one person actually apologized and promised me that everything would henceforth run through her. It didn't. I kept hearing from new people, none of whom seemed to know what their colleagues had been saying. Similarly, the total amount of the estimate kept changing, and it was extremely unclear to me what I owed, or what the scope of the work eventually was going to be. The proposals or estimates were extremely difficult to decipher (although they did include a lot of photos, and that is a good thing). Finally, they were extremely slow. The initial assessment was simple and straightforward enough, but it took months of repeated calls and emails to get them to finally do the work--which took only two days. Once they actually did it, everything was fine, but what should have taken a few weeks at most dragged on for months. This created a great deal of personal hardship for my mother and for me, and became inordinately time-consuming and complicated. If it weren't for the poor organization and communication, this company could easily be in the five-star range.

Thankfully, I had the best people to get this situation resolved quickly. I worked with Arturo Ramirez (from San Diego)'s team from start to finish. Arturo came to give an assessment of what is going on, what needs to be done, and when they are going to do so. The preparation they did before the work was amazing. I have carpet upstairs and they put plastics on everything so there would be a minimal cleaning in the end. Arturo communicated with me on everything they are working on. After all done, they cleaned everything, they put back my toilet with no issue, the walls are painted and textured. I didn't think that they were cutting any corners or trying to get it all done and get my money and be out. Only small issue I had was the communication about the invoices with their accounting team. I had to call them multiple times to get it updated since I needed the bills split between HOA and me. But in the end they got it all figured out.

Ryan first came to do the assessment. Super informative and reassuring. Easy to communicate with for sure. On demo day, which was looooooong. Giovanni along with Nate and Raudel's crews were great to work with. They were efficient, polite and kept me assured that they would take care of things and updated throughout the process especially since I was dealing with all of this while my spouse was on a work trip. When I had my spouse on video call to see the progress, he said their work was clean. We've worked with other companies for demo but these guys were wayyyy better at it. When it was time to pick up equipment after drying time was over, Gio again kept me informed with what stage of the process we were in and what'll happen next. Jim Thurber was the Project Manager who walked me through the process of putting everything back together again. He actually worked with my Insurance Adjuster, and I didn't have to pay anything out of pocket, except for an unforeseen leak with wall damage after the initial estimate was done. He had his employees there around 8 am every day they were supposed to be there. Alex and Marcus (i am not sure of the names, but hopefully I got it right) did the drywall/patching of the mess of my kitchen. Then the cabinet team finished it off, painted everything exactly matching the original paint, and put all the appliances back where they belonged. The kitchen looked brand new, and everything was cleaned up afterwards. The timeline was as first estimated. If there were any issues, Jim took care of it! Jim communicated with me often, and he reassured me that everything will be done to my specifications, which they were. Great company! Wonderful project manager (Jim)! Fabulous employees!
