Contacted Quality First on Friday night, and first thing Saturday morning I received a call from Lydia and she was very helpful in setting me up with an appointment for the same day. Lydia continued to keep me informed of the status of my appointment throughout the morning. She was more than polite and courteous each time she spoke with me. Other businesses could learn a lot from her. Chris M. and Chris R. showed up on time, as promised, to assess the situation. Even though I told them they didn't have too, they insisted on wearing booties while they were in my home. They were quickly able to isolate and resolve the issue. They gave me a quote up front, and didn't try to sell me something I didn't need. They also provided great customer service by keeping me informed of their progress and even programmed the new thermostat they installed. We have an older home which often requires plumbing repairs. No one looks forward to these expenses, but our experiences with Quality First over the last decade assures us that we will always receive professional work and good value for our money. Most recently our icemaker developed a leak and my efforts to shut off the water supply resulted in two valve failures so that we were actually having to bail water. Although we called after regular business hours Damien was able to get us a service visit for the very next morning. Holly, our personal CSR kept us informed throughout the morning so we knew exactly when the technician would arrive. When he arrived, Billy was an absolute angel! Patiently he listened to our tale of misadventures and rather quickly stopped the leaking problem with an adjustment to one of the valves. He then thoroughly explained what went wrong and what options were available for the repairs. The option we chose required a second visit to complete the repairs but also to update the connection to the icemaker. I found this company to be the Best of the Best! I had both the AC technicians and Plumber in our home yesterday to do a Pre-Season inspection on our AC and the Plumber to check everything in our entire house before we turned on our Drip System for the season. The folks are true professionals and the rates are competitive with other companies that we've used in the past. I read some other reviews on YELP and one of two things come to mind: #1. They are using a jake leg that doesn't have insurance, maybe isn't licensed, doesn't pull permits when required, or maybe is a friend of a friend -or- #2. They don't care about anything but price. I don't know about you but our home is one of our biggest investments and I don't want to let just anyone into our home. I want a Professional that will stand behind their work, is licensed, insured and does things right the first time. Brian and Ray were a great team. The main water shutoff for my townhome was leaking badly and this repair was very difficult to coordinate with the HOA and neighbors, as the valve configuration requires shutting off water to 3 buildings. This took quite a while to drain, after requiring some searching for the correct valve due to it being covered by landscaping. These guys made it all happen and now I can finally use my water freely without worrying about flooding my basement. They were very professional, taking care to use hoses to run the draining water away from the buildings. They were careful to clean everything up, and to avoid excess water getting into my walls and flooring when replacing my valve. They were fun and friendly guys to chat with while we were waiting for the system to drain as well. They're not cheap, but I would call them again for complex jobs. read more

This company was recommended to me by my HOA and I am so happy they did. I needed work done on a leaking coil. Sam came out and took the time and effort to check everything, then gave me three options. Because of the age of the heating and a/c, I decided to replace both. The office stayed in touch with me to alert me when the crew was coming. Sam and his two assistants were great. They did the work quickly and efficiently. They were so polite and respectful. Highly recommend. Just completed a whole house repipe and water filter installation. Was extremely satisfied with the entire process. First, ask for Jacob to come give you an estimate. He was extremely knowledgeable and creative with the whole house repipe solution and minimized the amount of ceiling that needed to be cut. He managed the entire project and ensured I was completely satisfied before he considered the work 'done'. The personnel who performed worked (Taylor, Paul) did an excellent job and were very professional / respectful. I contacted this company for a replacement of my 17 year old water heater. Jacob was the plumber they sent to do the work. After checking my water pressure, he informed me that my pressure regulating valve needed to be replaced (not surprising, as it too was 17 years old), and also made suggestions on replacing some of my old gate valves with ball valves. I had him proceed with the recommended work, and he did a fantastic job. I did a lot of research on plumbing contractors before deciding to give this company a call, and I could not be happier with the way things turned out. I have never had better service. This company is fair and very professional. From the very first contact I had I was impressed. They have real people answer the phone and Kate was very helpful. She actually seemed to feel bad that I had a problem. Jacob came to my house and took care of my water heater problem right away. He had the correct size on his truck and we had hot water in very short order. I have a rental property also and the sewer line broke. They were able to fix it the very next day. The HOA management company of my building called them as a unit was experiencing a leak. They charged $389 ($189 for the first hour, $200 for the second hour) to have someone come out and cut a hole in the ceiling to determine where the leak was coming from. This was on top of the $75 after hours charge and a $39 trip charge. Absolute rip-off. Would never recommend them as I feel they took advantage of a situation and charged a rate generally reserved for a master plumber doing complex work. read more
