    Rosemary Chicken with 2 sides
    Johanna B.

Pleasantly surprised first time experience trying Quality Greens Kitchen. To be honest, I wasn't familiar with this business. There's even a Hoboken location. The Rosemary Chicken stood out on the menu for tonight's dinner and that's just what we ordered. For base, there were 3 selections: Quinoa, Brown Rice or Salad Greens. We both chose salad greens. Next, two side vegetables. I went with the sweet potato and Maple Sriracha Brussel Sprouts. The other selection was the same but with Mac n Cheese instead of Sweet Potatoes. Finally, you can choose 2 side sauces. I chose Chipotle Ranch and Tzatizki. Opinion? First, the Chicken is boneless with about 6 slices of white meat. The overall execution was good and the combination of flavors were quite enjoyable. Anything described as spicy such as the Brussel Sprouts were, in fact, spicy! Where things fell short was in the portion size. I have an average appetite so it was okay for me. However, it was a significant smaller portion size considering it was an entree. The other feedback was seasoning. I found everything to be a bit too salty for my liking. I'm not a fan of overseasoned foods. Despite this, I enjoyed my meal. Overall, I really liked my first time experience at Quality Greens Kitchen. Food was packed well and delivery was prompt. I would definitely order from here again.

Really good, fresh ingredients. They have bowls and salads. A great option because a lot of the places around are fast food. The decor is really nice and the place feels peaceful. Definitely a good quiet place to eat. The staff were really nice and explained the bowls and salads to me. I got a salmon tostada salad and a custom salad for my husband. The salmon tostada was really good. It had good flavor. I just wished it had more salmon. The custom salad also had very little chicken. If it had a little bit more protein it would be perfect. I definitely will be coming back.

Fresh well seasoned tender steak, sweet potatoes were deliciously roasted they melted in my mouth the macaroni and cheese was cheesy & paired well with the steak. The mixed greens didn't come with any dressing so that took me star away what's the purpose of dry mixed greens ? Free sautéed broccoli was ok wouldn't order again..

Every time I walk into Quality Greens (thrice so far), I am absolutely gobsmacked at: 1. How beautiful the space is for a fast casual spot. 2. How legitimately delicious the food is. Downtown Brooklyn is a place with all the lunch options. There's Dig, and Playa Bowls, and Cava, and Shake Shack, and Sweetgreen, and Dave's Hot Chicken, and Chopt, and on and on and on... I think this may be my favorite of all for a balanced, varied, healthy-ish meal. You're getting real food, cooked on the premises. You can get a salad with 10 different types of fresh produce topped with juicy, well-seasoned chicken. You can get a plate with actually tender, medium rare steak, sweet potatoes, and maple brussel sprouts over greens or grains. There is real spice and actual flavor in some of their dressings. The people behind the counter are actually cooking, and actually nice. And if you don't want to go home and eat it while staring at your computer like you depressingly do day after day, you can sit in one of their bright, comfortable leather banquettes and eat it while staring at your phone instead. Or maybe you could even bring a friend, and enjoy your life. Either way, stop sleeping on Quality Greens.

Me and my wallet finna have a problem, since I'll be here everyday in the foreseeable future. Food: 20/10. Let be honest, most of these salad and bowl shops have dry sad protein that we add out of guilt more than pleasure (can't only have carbs, am I right?). Not here- the chicken and tofu were both so juicy and soft; Truly flavorful and delicious. All of the sides? Outstanding. I'm obsessed with the Brussels but every single one I've tried has been so good. The portions? Ample- generous. The ambiance? warm and smartly designed. The service? 10/10 the gentleman who made my plate and rang me up was so kind, knowledgeable and personable. Having a nice staff really makes such a difference (shout out to the hard working crew- you rock!)

We ordered pickup on Saturday for dinner. Really fantastic! My wife and I both had bowls - hers with steak and rice, mine with chicken and greens - both with beets and brussels. I ordered to sauces, but it was great without any sauce for me! My wife had the chipotle ranch with hers. We both loved them! We shared the butternut squash salad with balsamic. Yum. The kids each had a side of mac and cheese, which was plenty for them - daughter also had a side of chicken. Rave reviews! Staff was friendly, and food was fast and fresh! I realize this is similar in style to Dig and other places, but I sure hope people discover it! Definitely delicious and may be a little cheaper, too.

Good quality ingredients. The steak and salmon are my go to. Salmon is always juicy. I like the sriracha brussel sprouts as well, but it does have a kick to it.

Stopped by Quality Greens Kitchen for lunch. I had a salad and protein bowl, both were fresh with a large portion size. I had a salmon bowl with broccoli and sweet potato and a steakhouse salad. The steak was tender, cooked perfectly. The blue cheese and crunchy elements were satisfying! Great spot for a quick lunch.

Verified Banger. Immaculate vibes. Excellent flavor. I will be back! The service was so welcoming and warm. Music good. Love it here. The whole team July 29th morning deserves a raise.

Quality Greens Kitchen reminds me of Sweet Green and Dig, but with an elevated interior. The restaurant does serve good food but it is not a fine dining restaurant as it is called. The place was pretty empty, I came around 5 or so. The food is around $14+ so not the cheapest option, but definitely one of the healthiest. I did leave feeling like I could make this food myself even though it tastes good.

I was excited when I found out they opened a new kitchen in Brooklyn. When I arrived I parked on the street nearby. I walked into the restaurant and was greeted. I ordered the salmon with brown rice and quinoa, broccoli and macaroni, and cheese. I also got the mint lemonade drink. When I dug in, the food was absolutely delicious! I really enjoyed the salmon and the mac the most. The lemonade was also tasty. I had a great experience!

I knew of this place because of a random article but didn't know it was open until I randomly passed by it. By chance, I needed a place to charge my phone and this place was inviting. It joins the many recent additions to the neighborhood of the fast casual, pick a protein, base/side options. Maybe post pandemic they are trying to accommodate more of the students/workers who need to get things on the go. I think what might set this place apart so far from the other options nearby would be many things. For one, it feels less sterile in terms of aesthetics. It feels a bit warmer (shown in pictures) even at 7 pm at night and not blindingly white. Foodwise, the options looks very decent even quality. The salmon looked like that it was done with care. As mentioned previously, you could either create your own option with a protein (chicken, beef, salmon, tofu) order a premixed salad or a chef plate. If you are fully vegan/vegetarian you have the option of just getting 3 sides and paying cheaper. Because I was in a rush, I only bought the maple sriracha Brussels sprouts. They were flavorful as you can taste the heat from the sriracha and the sweetness of both the sriracha and the maple. It wasn't crispy but it was not wilted. But I think the thing that will make me return is the service. The person who I met there answered all my questions since it was my first time and recommended offerings that I might like. Overall, I can see myself coming back to try a full meal in the future.

Good comfort food, one notch better than Chipotle. Think of QGK as "adult" fast food. The prices for a salad bowl is competitive to Sweet Greens. For lunch, I had marinated sliced steak plate with roasted potatoes & Mac Cheese. Everything in the bowl tasted fine. The steak was seasoned well. The staff look like they care about making quality food that tastes and look good. Highly recommend QGK.

It has the kind of cozy neighborhood vibe that makes you want to relax and savor your meal. Our server, Annie S., was fantastic--friendly, attentive, and very easy to talk to. Her service struck the perfect balance and truly enhanced our experience. We shared the Sailor Gin Martini, which was beautifully chilled, bright, aromatic, and finished with a lovely dry note. It was refreshing and absolutely delicious. For our appetizer, we shared the quiche. It was so good that we completely forgot to take a photo before finishing it! For our entrées, I ordered the cod and my husband had the burger without the bun. The cod was honestly one of the best I've ever had--perfectly cooked, incredibly fresh, and full of flavor. The pea purée that accompanied it was equally delicious and complemented the fish beautifully. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his burger, and I couldn't resist helping myself to some of his fries, which were excellent as well. Every part of this meal was enjoyable, from the drink and food to the warm hospitality and comfortable atmosphere. Needless to say, we both left very happy.

We ordered two appetizers with distinctive sauces, and when our plates weren't cleared after the first course, we made what I thought was a very reasonable request for fresh plates. That simple request seemed to send our server over the edge. At a restaurant of this caliber, I would expect fresh plates and silverware to be brought automatically between courses. Instead, the staff insisted that we keep using the same silverware throughout the meal. Later in the evening, I sat with an empty cocktail glass for quite a while. I tried making eye contact with our server, who appeared to avoid our table by turning her back and refusing to look over. I suspect she noticed me in her peripheral vision because she abruptly said, "I'll be with you in just a moment." I wasn't waving her down or trying to interrupt her. I simply wanted a wine list, which could have been dropped off in seconds for me to browse while she continued helping other tables. Instead, after I asked, she prioritized several other tasks before eventually bringing it over. At one point, my friends joked that "the food is great in Brooklyn, but the service is rude." That honestly made me sad to hear because it doesn't reflect the Brooklyn I've known over the past 14 years. I've always found it to be warm and welcoming. I'm not sure what happened to Sailor, but this experience couldn't have been more different from my first visit, as reflected in my previous review. Before dismissing this as someone being overly critical, it's worth noting that I worked in the service industry for 17 years. I know restaurants get busy, and I don't expect perfection. But basic hospitality, attentiveness, and professionalism should still be part of the experience, especially at a restaurant of this quality.

When I walked in, I noticed two available seats at the bar. A Caucasian woman took one of the seats, and I sat in the other. Moments later, an employee asked me to move because the woman's friend was supposedly on the way. Now, I've always understood bar seating to be first come, first served. What made the situation even more frustrating was that I wasn't even given the opportunity to order a drink or remain seated until the friend actually arrived. Instead, I was immediately asked to give up my seat for someone who wasn't even present. As a Black man, on Juneteenth of all days, the optics of the situation did not sit well with me. The music was Black. The atmosphere was Black. The culture being celebrated was Black. Yet it felt like preference was being given to someone who wasn't even there over a paying customer who was. Maybe that wasn't the intent, but perception matters, and the experience left a very bad taste in my mouth. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I cannot recommend this establishment. Avoid it at all cost! Zero STARS

Side note, we ordered the same exact items off the menu as we did a year ago...only one thing was missing which was the biscuits with the flavored butter jam. Friendly waitress greeted us and sat us immediately. Menu's came out and they recommended a pizza and burger. We agreed and ordered. Place started to pick up and get busy immediately after we ordered. Food came out pretty quickly. We each had a burger. Not a lot of options on the menu but we all tried the emily burger. It was worth it. Think, juicy and with an amazingly unique taste. The ingredients were high quality, the burger cooked to perfection. The table also split the modern pizza (I think). Not sure what to expect from this one but turns out it was perfect, unique and delicious. The cheese taste really shined through. Overall, we were super happy with the food here. Greetings all, it's been a while but here I am. Let's talk about Emily a quant pizza restaurant…read morethat you could easily walk pass and not know what they sold. Today however it wasn't pizza that brought me here, it was the famous Emmy Burger. To begin with the atmosphere of the restaurant is dim lighting a few tables with a reasonable sized bar in the middle of the room. They also have an open kitchen concept where just past the bar you can see the cooks working. My server Inda was polite and knowledgeable about the menu. My burger was excellent, normally I don't eat my burger with a knife and folk, but in this case with all the cheese and sauce oozing down the sides, not to mention the caramelized onions, it was necessary. (If I were home I wouldn't mind having burger juices running down my arm, but other people were eating in the restaurant also). The tiny pickles which I can't remember the name of were an added treat to the burger. I decided to order mine with the loaded fries. Just imagine the ground burger with all the toppings covering french fries and add melted white cheese. Since I was alone I didn't order a pizza because how would I eat it all, but next time I will try the pizza. I don't mind paying extra for a burger when it's aged beef and the taste is great. I definitely recommend this location. There is a fast food burger restaurant next door to Emily's but I can't imagine there burgers compare. I will try them another time and let you know. That's all for now, see you on my next review.
