Had a business dinner with about 30 people the other night. The atmosphere was business casual with a cozy little bar and comfortable dining area. We were in a separate room for our group which was nice. The staff delivered preordered appetizers. Mini hot dogs, lobster rolls,salmon carpaccio, and meatballs. All were outstanding and we never waited for another. For dinner it was a preset menu with a choice of New York strip, Gnocchi, and Dover Sole. I had the Gnocchi which was fabulous! Creamy and perfectly cooked. The rest of my table had steak which got mixed reviews. Some loved it. Others thought theirs was overcooked and under seasoned. I guess that goes with cooking that many steaks at the same time. Service was EXCEPTIONAL! My favorite server was Kelly (I think!). She was friendly, quick and had a great smile! Came here on a Sunday night. Easily state a party of 6 with 2 kids. The food was all very good (salmon crudo, scallop crudo). The kale salad was very fresh! The chopped salad was hearty -- kinda like salad for the person who wants to pretend they're not eating a salad ;p. Previous to this last visit I had only gone during dinner time and we always love the food but we went for a birthday lunch/brunch this past month and had a wonderful visit. Half of the table ordered the spicy lobster rigatoni which was incredible! They cook part of it table side and the flavors were amazing. We also had the table side bread rolls, the Cesar salad, the bottomless Bellinis, the hanger steak and eggs, burrata toast, and a virgin aperol spritz. Everyone had a delicious meal and my Virgin Aperol Spritz was the best mocktail that I have had since being pregnant! We went to Quality Italian to celebrate my sister's 24th birthday, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The staff were friendly, patient, and even played along with my significant other's food related puns which, honestly, says a lot! Even though the restaurant was crowded, the layout made it feel comfortable and not overwhelming. I'd say more lively. Still perfect for a family dinner. My sister ordered the lobster vodka pasta, which they flambé right at the table. It was fun to watch and absolutely delicious. My mom has a lobster allergy, which given my sister ordered lobster they took very, very seriously. It was impressive. I had the pesto dish, and it was outstanding--super fresh. The menu is on the smaller side, but everything we tried was a hit. They made my sister feel celebrated, and we all had a blast. The hubs and I came back here for on our anniversary and were treated very kindly! Waitstaff was friendly and attentive and our water was always full - something I value highly. We enjoy coming here for a treat, but I can't give five stars because the prices are extremely high and I don't think they quite match the value. The complimentary bread is yummy but would be better warmed. For an app we had the house made ricotta which was amazing, but heavy paired with pasta dishes. We tried the corn based pasta that was similar to gnocchi (interesting but not something I would order again), the spicy lobster (a win every time, love that it's cooked tableside), and the corn brulee (unique and absolutely delicious, highly recommend). Ended with some ricotta gelato (divine) and tiramisu (looks fun but not nearly as good as the classic). *Zero Proof Review: I'm on a quest to check out all the zero proof, mocktails, and n/a beverages that Denver and beyond has to offer. I initially did not realize QI had mocktails as it was a typo and listed as "Select Beer" on the menu. When informed, I opted for the "Ginger Zinger" which was fantastic. Complex flavors and highly chuggable. They had two other mocktail options as well as one n/a lager, which is better than most spots. My one recommendation would be to add in some n/a wine and bubbly to cater to a wider audience, especially with their pre-existing massive wine menu. We will continue to come back on special occasions, but sadly can't put this in our regular rotation given the $$$. read more

My favorites were the gnocchi, chicken parmigiana and the desserts. Their house bread was lovely, we ordered more and I was stuffed! My husband got the lobster pasta and they live flamed it at the table, it was nice. The gnocchi was amazing, best I've had in a long time. Desserts were great, specially the tiramisu and the cheese ice cream with the pie. We also got a couple bottles of wine for the table and they had a good selection and an in house Somalier. I sat down at quality Italian and was immediately disappointed by the limited menu, and the lack of many standard Italian staples (Cream based sauces, Carbonara, etc.) to the point I almost did not eat here. In the end I am glad I stayed. Off their specials menu they had a black truffle Cacao de Pepe so I decided to try that and it was absolutely amazing! The service is top tier and our waiter brought out some fresh baked garlic knots to tide us over while we waited for our food (which came out very quickly) The ambience is nice and has an upscale vibe, but the space is small and the tables are uncomfortably close together. It is very expensive for the portion sizes served, but they clearly use fresh high quality ingredients. TL:DR - very good food, but has some other issues that keep it from justifying its prices. read more

Was always leary about trying Quality Italian because usually when something advertises Quality it is anything but. Ever stayed at a Quality Inn? Was it a Quality experience? Now that I got my gripe out about the name this place is amazing. We were ready for a meal after a late afternoon distillery tour. It was right about 5 pm on a Monday and we called right as we approached the restaurant. They said they could accommodate our group of 6 so we went right over. We were seated promptly and ordered appetizers. Oysters were the perfect size, cold and served with a granita that enhanced the flavor of the oyster without hiding it's delicate flavor. Calamari may have been the best I have ever had. Calamari had a perfect fry and the squid itself was melt in the mouth. Large wine list with a very knowledgeable and accommodating Sommelier. They were out of the wine we initially ordered so they went out of their way to make sure we had a wine we were happy with. We ordered several options from the menu pork, steak, chicken, pasta and the lobster rigitoni. Everything was cooked perfectly and the plate presentations were stunning. We were probably a bit under dressed for this establishment without knowing it but they did not let that stop them from giving us a glorious dining experience. Holy Italian!!! One of the best pasta meals I have had outside of Italy. It is no wonder why I always see a packed patio with people enjoying their meal. We had a group of 5 adults and made a reservation for a Sunday night dinner. There were quite a few full tables, a few empty ones when we sat down but by the time we left it was crowded. Our waitress was AMAZING! She was a professional, she was very knowledgeable about the menu and had the sommelier come to the table to help us select a wine. Her recommendations were on point - not sure you can get a bad meal here though. The amount was perfect for all of us. I ordered the short rib ravioli and my husband got the truffle pasta. I preferred the truffle pasta (you can never go wrong with truffle) so we switched. I could have eaten my weight in the truffle pasta dish, it was Unreal!!! The bread appetizer was also good but the pasta was the star of the meal. It isn't an inexpensive place so be prepared to pay but the portion is hefty as well. My only complaint was the restroom is in the neighborhood of hotel and down a set of stairs. Delicious Sunday Brunch at Quality Italian. My partner and step son both devoured the QI Burger. My other stepson enjoyed Bananas Foster French Toast. And I had one of my favorites, Breakfast Risotto. The atmosphere at Quality Italian is warm and inviting--we were greeted by Margot at the hostess stand who was full of smiles and kindness. Dining at Quality Italian is absolutely lovely during the warmer days and summer: the wall opens up to expose the outdoor view and seating--making you feel as if you are outdoors even if you are inside--giving the perfect amount of the beautiful outside decor. Our server Cameron was on point, even when the bacon my partner ordered hadn't arrived with his meal he quickly navigated the situation with politeness and ease. The floor manager--although she was busy, was joyful, and made time to stoped by our table to welcome us back. Best Belated Mother's Day brunch with my stepsons and partner. The lighting was set a little dark so my pictures did not look as good as they could have. The seating was nicely arranged. The bar was extremely busy. We had a reservation at 8pm and had to wait a few minutes for our table to be ready. We didn't get to order a drink because we were guided to our table. We ordered the appetizer on special, Wagyu meatballs in marinara sauce with parmesan. I order the Mediterranean Branzino. He ordered the Dry-Aged Poterhouse Agnolotti. Both were spectacular. The garlic rolls just melted in my mouth. We had a party of 8 and ordered a large portion of the entire menu. We shared our different dishes and everything was outstanding. The steaks were done perfectly, the pasta dishes were divine. The appetizers and desserts did not disappoint. We were even treated to an after dinner pour of Jefferson Bourbon which none of us had tried. It has now become a family favorite. Went for a birthday dinner, 7 pm on a tuesday, party of 8. For a tuesday the music seemed super loud. We were at a round table and had to shout to hear each other across the table. Bit of a vibe killer to be honest, as it felt like club music and we couldn't have a conversation really. Waiter kept disappearing and seemed super distracted. At one point, he took half of our dinner orders then just walked away, coming back later for everyone else's orders. I'd call that poor service as we had all been waiting awhile to place our food order and were pretty hungry. Took some time for the food to show. Kitchen seemed slow. But it wasn't just us. There was another table who seemed to wait forever for their food as well. Place was packed so it is possible they were short staffed in some way but service was not smooth. When food came out it felt like it had sat in the back for awhile. Had the Shrimp pasta which the waiter highly recommended - it was supposed to be to be a lucious sauce with pepper and some spice - it was bland and boring tbh. It took me a while to come here because frankly the name is rather off putting, but it's actually a really nice restaurant. The ambience is exquisite here and the tables are cozy, it's a great choice for special occasion or date night. More than one of our orders was prepared table side (the Lobster Vodka Rigatoni and The Godfather). So the combination of interior ambience and table side theatrics made for a real elevated experience, but how about the food itself? The food is decent but not amazing. The favorite thing I ate was the Fillet Mignon Meatballs, they were soft and tasty and there was a lot of sauce that allowed us to dunk the very-hard-to-cut table bread in it. The rigatoni in the Lobster Vodka Rigatoni was way too al dente and the sauce was very underwhelming, but spicy Calabrian chilis in the dish saved the day there. We also tried the Veal Milanese, and it was literally this gigantic piece of veal with salad on top. The veal was delicious and tender but the lack of dimensionality in the dish made it redundant really fast. And despite the table side presentation of The Godfather, which is essentially just a giant cannoli, it was so large that it became just too much for dessert. Cocktail-wise I was impressed by the tri-color martini, which has this colorful ice cube that melts and becomes almost a whole other drink. Overall I lean towards a favorable 4 star rating after all said and done, but keep in mind the ambience and service gave them an extra star. The food alone is 3 stars at best. read more

Came here with a girlfriend on a Tuesday night. Reservations are suggested as well as using their valet parking. (they have validation) The waitress we had was absolutely lovely. We sat by the bar, and she had short hair and tattoos. I wish I would have gotten her name. The starter bread is delicious but be careful because it is quite filling. The calamari was okay - could have been cooked a bit longer. Loved the meatballs and the gnocchi, only downside by the time we order that we were quite full. I did take off a star because I don't understand the absorbent prices as well as the crowdedness. People standing around the bar area like it was a dive bar. very strange for a high-end restaurant and it lost some prestige for me due to how packed it was. Some food seemed fairly priced, and others were ridiculous. I did like it here but know if you are coming it is not as high class as the prices make it seem. Definitely make a reservation if you want to try out Quality Italian! Located by the cherry creek mall, this upscale Italian restaurant is packed to the brim it seems like all the time. I was able to snag a late dinner reservation with a friend on Tuesday night, and no joke, the restaurant was filled from the moment we stepped in until like 10PM/closing time. Because of this, food can definitely come out a little slower, so expect to hang around for awhile. The server we had though was really friendly and knowledgable and just attentive enough to be helpful without being intrusive. We split the prosciutto, the truffle cacio e pepe, and the spicy lobster vodka rigatoni. We also ended up getting the tiramisu. The pasta noodles themselves are really incredible - great texture, chewy and delicious. I didn't love the sauces though. I wish the truffle was more potent in the cacio e pepe. The lobster rigatoni is really fun in that they cook it at your table, so it is a whole event. However, I felt like it was lacking a little depth in flavor and maybe too vodka forward. But that's just my own taste preferences. The tiramisu was delicious, maybe one of my favorites of the night. It's a deconstructed tiramisu so another fun dish to eat! read more

The food at this restaurant is some of the best I have experienced in Denver. Let's get into it.... -Baked Lasagna...Star of the show. No other word but ethereal. The pasta noodles were so thin and delicate, with the warm cheese and pesto, each bite was just a dream. Unlike traditional lasagna, the presentation was unique with the noodles on their sides and it did not give the "brick of cheese in the gut feeling" at the conclusion of the meal. -Tomato and Stracciatella Salad....light salad that hit all of the notes -Sausage and Pepper Toast....savory and spicy on perfectly toasted bread -Corn Creme Brulee...how could we not order this? Sweet corn with a coating of sugar on top and torched. So decadent, it was like a vegetable dessert -Brussel Sprouts....sauteed and seasoned with a hint of vinegar, so delicious -Tiramisu....I could barely breathe at this point I was so full. The almond sponge was so flavorful and refreshing and unlike most tiramisu; I have no regrets for overeating Overall fantastic food. Quite pricy in total and not in my budget for an frequent meal. They also messed up our filet mignon meatball order but corrected that issue with an additional free order. Luckily their corrections to their service issues made up for the issues themselves.
