I would give less stars to review this place, however the first guy to help me was extremely kind and caring giving an extra star or two. Ant initially took a look at my car and was very patient and thorough. I had experienced a noise my car was making and bright it in to try and figure out the reason. However once the owner showed up my experience did a 180. The owner was very abrasive and short with me, trying to mansplain I needed an oil change when my car was not due for that service yet. The cost was reasonable and average. In the end once everything was completed the owner threw my keys at me. Do not trust. I pulled up for an oil change on my 2018 Toyota, and the attendant informed me that this oil change would require them to remove a "huge plate" underneath my vehicle, and it would take up to an hour to complete. He also quoted me $50 more than I normally pay? I asked why every oil change I had received over the past 7 years was very standard, taking only 10 to 15 minutes tops. He shrugged his shoulders... that was his only response. I let him know I wasn't interested and would go elsewhere. As I drove off I saw him laughing with the other attendant, hope it was a funny joke. I drove three blocks down and had an oil change completed within the normal 10 minutes that I'm used to, dodged a bullet on this one. read more

After several years coming here, my last visit was the last for good. An oil change, filters, and windshield wipers cost was over $300. Never charged this much before. It didn't sit right with me. I reported youri to the BBB. I was refunded $70. Rest assured, they will quote you one price and charge another. The trust I had for this place no longer exists. I'm not mad at this place.... Got an oil change and switched out my windshield wipers. I was in and out under 30mins. I appreciated the service and paid about 150$ total. Which, to me was a great deal considering every place I went to was quoting me 80+ for new wipers. I paid bout 50$ for both, so that was a steal.... Hopefully they last me awhile lol. Came in for an oil change on my 2004 Honda CR-V, charged me $60, then talked me into an oil drain plug for $18 because mine was rusted and awful, he said. However my car had never leaked oil. So $80 spent and guess what happened for the entire duration after the oil change...OIL LEAKAGE EVERYWHERE. I'm not even going to make it to the allotted oil change time mileage written on my sticker. Oh yes, and they took my cabin air filters out, they were dirty yes, I know, I was going to change them myself. He was going to charge me $30 for EACH ONE. Then, the next day my AIR CONDITIONER BROKE. It blows air but no longer cools. It was my second time coming here in a good 6 years of living in the Valley. I remembered my first time feeling like this place was sketchy. But I couldn't remember why. Then I remembered! He caused oil leakage on my previous Honda CR-V as well!!! I've been a customer for as long as I can remember. Today, I went in for an oil change, and while they were changing the oil, I stepped outside to watch. I noticed a big blob of oil on my headlight dripping onto the bumper. I pointed it out to Youri, the owner, none of the less. He came back at me with this attitude telling me that I must of driven in there like that. WOW!!! This guy is insane! I went back inside the office, and I could see him walking over to one of his employees, checking their shirts for oil. One of the workers had oil on his shit spreading it around the car as he worked on it. To cut it short, this Youri guy is dishonest and really confrontational. Terrific folks in every way. On November 26, 2012 it was time for an oil change. My Scion xB has 100k miles on it and it was time for an oil change and both the accessory belts were due for replacement at least 25,000 miles ago. I was in a bit of a hurry so I asked how long the belt replacement would take. I was told 20 minutes. They were done right on time. There were three service techs working on my car. I had been here in the past and one reason for my return is that they are fast but also check all the levels and normal items. Why five stars? 1. They have a great inventory of common filters and items on hand that are high quality items. Most of the items are American made. They use high grade stuff. I posted a photo as a side note. 2. The facility is very clean and organized. This is not all that common in many service places. 3. High end and expensive equipment. The transmission flush unit and other support equipment and tools are top drawer. There is obvious pride in the place by the staff and owners. 4. Expertise. The mechanics / techs are experienced. I was in this business when I was younger and it is easy to observe whether the folks are trying to figure things out on the fly or know where to go and what to do, There may be some folks that have not shared my experience. All I can say is that I have come here a half a dozen times. There has been a change in ownership and the current owner is great. I liked this spot in the past under the old ownership as well as a side note. read more

Got an oil change here since it was close to where I live. Saw the special, figured it was too good to be true. What do you know, $7 extra for 5-20, one of the most common types of oil. Try to upsell me on the addons when I requested specifically just an oil change. Get charged an extra $10 to remove a handful of bolts to drop my skid plate. Would have just done it myself, not very hard to get a jack and an impact. Takes two minutes. Never received a charge like that. Labeled as a "special filter" on the bill, seems legit... Guy at the register couldn't figure out how to enter a credit card into the system. What do you know I got charged twice. Thanks for the $90 oil change, and the .99 charge to use a credit card...twice. Better off going to jiffy lube than these "mechanics" read more

Terrible experience. Mechanic broke my oil filter bypass valve, he showed me the broken part then had the nerve to tell me I would need to replace it myself at my expense. Worse, I looked at my receipt, they charged me $30 for an air filter that sells for $8 at Walmart! I can understand a few dollar markup but 400%???? Poor mechanical skills, poor in honoring replacing damage that lack of workmanship caused and worse, dishonest, 400% markup is nothing short of robbery. BEWARE! read more

The owner is a Thief! He will recommend repairs then overcharge for parts and or labor! After an oil change he completed my car was losing a lot of water after leaving minutes later. A valve to my heater hose was broken that was not told to me. All the water drained and could have destroyed my engine! I went back and he overcharged me for the part and the cost to replace it. I needed my vehicle the next day and it was late so could not take it anywhere else otherwise I would have done so! Also he will try to charge you 3 times the price to change an Air Filter. Don't believe the hype of the reviews here. I had to go here as a last resort to get an oil change. My oil is normally changed at home by me but the last time I had my car serviced, I also included an oil change. The tech put the oil pan bolt on too tight for me to remove myself, so I bit the bullet to pay for an oil change that I normally do myself. I ride public transportation and only put about four thousand miles a year on my car. My car is parked in my driveway or garage. There are NO oil stains on my driveway or garage floor. Upon the start of the oil change, Yori started inspecting the other fluids and brakes. He, of course, stated the following on the receipt that I only read upon getting home because the cost was already agreed to prior to the service being rendered and the receipt reflected that amount: (in small print: "oil leak" and then large print: "ON ARRIVAL, ENGINE FLUSH REC. EVRY 15K MLS, TRANSMISSION FLUSH RECOMMENDED, SERPINTINE BELT(S), REAR BRAKE PADS REC MISS". The receipt also recommended replacement of: (also in Caps) DIFFERENTIAL FLUID, TRANS/TRANSAXLE FLUID, V BELT/SERPINTINE BELT. The spelling error of "Serpentine" is misspelled on the receipt, it's not my misspelling. The choice to use lowercase type for stating there was an oil leak, while other comments are in capital letters is deceiving and meant to be overlooked. It was never mentioned at the time of service. My issue is not with the "upsell" tactics, it's with the causing of an issue that never was in an attempt to gain more business. After discovering the mention of an oil leak on the receipt, I placed a piece of cardboard under my oil pan and discovered the following morning, an oil leak that never was prior to doing business with this company. Yori told me that the threads on my "Oil Pan bolt" were damaged, but I could see there was no damage, even without my glasses; but gave him permission to replace it until he told me the cost for a new bolt was $15, I changed my mind and told him no. He again stated the other repairs as mentioned on the receipt were necessary and when I failed to answer, offered his own answer; "I guess we'll wait until next time to make these repairs", followed by direction to his tech to follow through with the old part (bolt) and not changes. It is my opinion that his tech caused a leak in my oil pan as a matter of doing business were no upsells were accepted by the customer. I have video evidence of my driveway showing my car parked in the driveway for days on end and then moved, where NO OIL STAINS are present. I placed a piece of cardboard under my car after the review of the receipt and low and behold, an oil leak. This is NEW and actionable. I have filed a complaint with the BBB against this business and in the process of filing a civil suit for damages to my vehicle. My video evidence is proof enough of ZERO oil leaks where my car has been parked for the past 2 years and driven on some weekends. Oil leaks don't appear in the 10 minutes it takes from starting the car to the point of taking it to the shop for an oil change. This shop should be ashamed for their attempts to rip people off and from the ease of their attempt to rip me off leads me to believe this is a common and standard practice that they have been successful at many times over. I have no desire and will never allow this shop to ever work my vehicle again. This shop and its tactics is exactly why the public takes issue with mechanics. Upsale tactics, scare tactics, and taking advantage of uneducated persons related to vehicle maintenance is unethical, and CAN rise to the level of illegality. Do not go here! I am usually a nice guy but if you try to rip me off... Stopped to get an oil change because I saw the sign for a $25, pull my car in, they tell me its going to be $5 more because my car is awd... sure why not. After my oil change they ( I think it was Yury) tell me that my transmission fluid is dirty and for $90 bucks they can change it. Not knowing any better but being generally suspicious I told them I didn't want it. About 3000 miles later I had to get my brake pads replaced so I went to another mechanic. I asked him if my transmission fluid was dirty, he looked at me and asked to see if my hair was blonde? Why would a car with only 40k miles have dirty transmission fluid? He pulled up the dip stick to check and showed me that it was perfectly clean, no problems whatsoever. He could of pulled a quick one and made some easy money but he has something called ethics, something that these guys obviously lack. I almost forgot the name of this place but luckily for me they put a sticker on my windshield. Looks like another Yelper named Jill also had the same exact experience here. As far as their quality checks go.. don't get me started they missed a very big problem that probably would of resulted in a horrible accident had my mechanic not caught it. Do not trust these people, they should be put out of business for acting this way. It takes a lifetime to build a reputation but only a moment to squander it. Horrible horrible service! At 10 o'clock on a weekday, the manager ran an errand and Fred (who was very professional) Notified me that the manager would be back soon. In the meantime three other cars pulled in and out. When the manager arrived, I was completely disregarded and while trying to explain the problem, and not knowing the accurate mechanic terminology was ignored by the manager of the company to the point where I just left after he started taking other customers cars after I've been waiting. It was beyond rude I was shocked! Fred was so pleasant but due to the managers lack of professionalism I left. I don't see why all the negative reviews of this place, yes you come in for an oil change and yes they do thorough inspection on your car and notify you of things you might need to possibly fix . They don't force it upon you they give you the option . My jeep wrangler has 100k miles had lots of issues with over heating after taking it to other mechanics no one could ever adress the issue properly .. the owner is a master mechanic knows cars like no other. He fixed my valve issue my over heating issues , now when I'm on the trail zero issues . So then I had him rebuild my Ford f250 1996 . Completely took engine apart and rebuilt it . My Ford runs like a champ now . Loaded it up with dirt filled to the top and headed up the Angeles crest . Not one single issue ..I highly reccomend . Ive taken my car 3 times already for oil change (which comes extra with 20 point inspection by a super friendly and incredibly qualified team of mechanics). I almost spent two grand to rebuild my automatic transmission, but decided to first try out the transmission flush here at a fraction of the price and it was worth it because all the problems I was experiencing are gone and my car shifts like new. They are also capable of more than fluid changes: I mentioned to the manager that my engine was making unusual noises and he found that one of my pullies had failed AND my serpentine belt was the wrong size! I'll start by saying that I've gone here for 10-11 years and will no longer go after the last incident. One of the guys told me that I needed to get my front struts and my thermostat replaced. And ended up talking me into getting all of my struts taken care of. They said they could do this there and I found a little odd that a oil change place would do repairs but they've always seemed good to me. I set up an appointment to get the repairs done and was quoted the same price two times but upon arrival the price changed to $700 more, $1750 total after seeing my reaction the guy that runs the place brought it down to $1450. My suspicions lead me get a second opinion but anyway I had to call my friend and tell him not to come pick me up and unnecessarily took my dog to a friends house to be watched for the day. It was very inconvenient to say the least I have a Honda CRV and I took it to two different mechanics after who both told me that the repairs were not necessary yet and wondered how the guys came to the conclusion that I needed these repairs done.It was pretty obvious of these guys just want your money when business is slow and now I'm thinking about all the unnecessary things that I've put into my car there over the years like engine flushes and transmission flushed which I've heard or are unnecessary. I will no longer go to these guys for anything and they lost a loyal customer due to their dishonesty. Beware! read more

They did not accept check-in offer ($24.95) for my car (sedan, regular kind). They say it is $31.95+tax. Just did not want to bother driving elsewhere in traffic so did it here. I had my vehicle completely serviced 4000 miles ago by a real, honest mechanic at another place. All fluids were flushed, fresh and topped off. I would have had him do my oil change, but he couldn't get to it anytime soon b/c he was too busy. So I took it here. Never again. The tech told me how most things were OK, but he needed to flush my transmission and engine because "it looks like it has never been done, and your engine could seize up at any time" I may be "just a girl" but I know a "wallet flush" when I see one.
