Just a cozy little spot in the front libby.

Checked in last night for a quick over night stay. Front entrance is very nice. The staff was most helpful with a couple things we needed to print and copy. The room was very nice and comfortable and a good price. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Few things really bother me enough to cause a bad review. I can look past water damage, and noisy neighbors, but this place went beyond the good. After the first night (not going to mention the minor hiccups), I was headed out to marry my bride. I had asked the front desk if I could leave some extra cash to get some flowers for our room since I would not have time to get it ready, but the person at the desk insisted she couldn't help and that I could go to the Safe way down the street to get flowers myself. Little sour, but not bad. Come back the night of my wedding, only to find LAKES of water in the parking lot, which greatly reduced walking paths and parking posibilities. The next morning, we stop for the free breakfast. Now, I am fine with what they had "available", the food was great. What really led to my bad review was not the fact that the power to the machines on the table broke, so the juice wouldn't pump, and the microwave wasn't available, but no one had placed a sign out telling people as they came up. My new bride had taken some waffle batter and placed it in the machine, making a mess as someone who worked at the hotel came out only to be pissed off and without even an apology for being upset, said it was broken, making my bride very uncomfortable and continued her rampage around every guest in the room (it was noted by another guest that we didn't know that she had been a b***h all morning). This STILL WASN'T THE BIGGEST PROBLEM. After removing the waffle iron, the hotel staff member was still within earshot of my bride (and others) when she continued her bad mood in the kitchen, calling my new wife (something to the effect of) a "dumb blonde". I don't care what kind of mood you're in, professionally keep these thoughts and comments to yourself, and outside of the company, especially away from the ears of guests. This was the night before, and after my wedding. You have lost my respect, and my service in the future. I will not be recommending the hotel to others. TL;DR Room fine Parking not fine Staff attitude UNACCEPTABLE.

    These windows are disgusting!

Except for our exterior windows, everything else was wonderful. The breakfast was delicious. Lobby and pool area clean. Our room was nice with comfy pillows and bed. Oh, and those free cookies at the front desk are addicting. I had head of housekeeping and one of her housekeepers check our windows. They said it was between the double pane windows and/or outside. The pictures I will be posting are of poor cleaning on the outside. Corporate complaint already made.

First of all, we booked two rooms and one was over an hour late. We booked about a week prior. Walking down the stairs, there was a cigarette on the staircase. There was also stains on the carpets. We left, came back about an hour or two later, and we turn on the air conditioner tons of ants. There were no other rooms and we are disappointed. I get it if you can't always catch everything, but this is pretty unacceptable. Still a one star.

Continental breakfast has: Waffles, eggs, sausage, biscuits/gravy, yogurts, pastries, fruit, cereal, oatmeal, coffee, tea, and orange juice.

I love a good hotel that has breakfast! And not just a bag of bagels, a toaster that hasn't been cleaned in 2 years and frozen cream cheese lying out. Oh and some granola bars maybe... No! This place had it all! Cereals, oatmeal, yogurts, eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, waffles... I'm sure I am missing something. Oh! And hot coffee, tea. So that was a huge plus and they get points in that area. I took off some points because, well, my cousin found a sock in her bed on our first night there which means they didn't change the sheets. My deducting points are all on housekeeping... Other than that, the front staff was friendly! We made good use of the pool (I suggest the pool stay open later?) and breakfast :) It was conveniently close to a lot of stores in the area and it was close to our family whom we were visiting on this trip. And there is free wi-fi, always a good way to win me over. However, I am mixed on recommending Quality Suites. If they can do something to keep a closer eye on housekeeping, I would recommend. But if not changing the sheets is the norm around here, I would have to say go somewhere else... (The next few days we made sure we were in the room when they came so we could see they changed the sheets).

Last weekend I had a last minute change in where I was staying. I made a call to Quality Inn and they were super helpful in helping me make my reservation at a decent rate! I spoke with Stephanie on the phone and she was so helpful to tell the gal coming in after her that I would be coming, so they saved me a room. Upon arrival, I was extremely exhausted and suffering from back pain. Vanessa, who was the manager at the des, went out of her way to help me get settled in for the evening by helping me with my bags to my room. She went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of, even so far as to move her car so that I could park near the door, since the nearest handicapped spots were all taken! I've stayed in many hotels over the years, and this was mind blowing to me and epic customer service! My room was perfect. Though some would complain at the sheer size of it, I was more than happy. It had a very comfortable king size bed, the room was conveniently located next to the elevator, the bathroom was clean, towels fresh, a desk and chair to make my study time conducive for homework, free wifi, and free breakfast in the morning. There was also a tv, but I never got around to using it. There was a fridge, microwave, hair dryer in bathroom, alarm clock, plenty of convenient plug ins throughout the room, and the a/c worked great! Breakfast in the morning was great! For it being free, it was way more than I anticipated. There were pastries, eggs, biscuits & sausage gravy, sausage links, a waffle maker, cereals, milk, juices, coffee, water, and fruit. I had a quick bite the next morning before diving into my course work. I needed to extend my stay at the last minute for an extra day, and they were more than helpful to grant me the same room at a decent rate. I will definitely stay here again the next time I visit friends in the area! I highly recommend this hotel for the Keizer area, and local surrounding cities.

Dirty and seriously not maintained.... This is 'Quality'?? For $120 a night?!

In addition to all the standards (in-room refrigerator, microwave, etc.) was a white noise (and others) machine to assist with sleep (one minor gripe is that the sound isolation between rooms isn't terribly great), and a wall-mounted thermostat for the air conditioner and heat. One very thoughtful touch was two bottles of water, free of charge, already in my room upon arrival. Staff was incredibly helpful, professional, and friendly. My room was immaculate, and there were no signs of wear on anything nor neglected repairs. Complimentary breakfast was better than most. The mains also vary from day to day. There is a separate waffle station from the main hot dishes, and it features pastries that were far better than most, which was a really pleasant surprise. The covered parking garage is TIGHT, and is shared with the in-hotel restaurant (Bentley's), and the Salem Convention Center, so it can get crowded. After looking for a couple hours online, I found the Century House. Jean was/is so sweet and kind, I am so happy to have gotten the opportunity to support the business. Jean was able to recommend a realtor to us. She is very knowledgeable about the Salem area and makes the best food. We got FRESH bing cherries and other fruits. As a resident of Hawaii, I so miss having fresh fruit. Our room was beautiful, ample space for 3 people. It felt like home. It was great. The breakfast was to die for. First morning was a parfait, sausages, and blueberry pancakes. Wow. Wow. Wow. To which I totally forgot to tell her that I don't eat red meat/pork. So the next morning she made salmon omelettes with cream cheese and a fruit crisp. I mentioned that a diner in Monmouth had the best crisps but they were out so we weren't able to get it. So she took it and decided to make one (totally warmed my heart). Both breakfasts were amazing. She sat with us both mornings and chatted, she's such a lovely person. When we move next June. The a/c worked and seemed to be less than constant, but setting it low enough, it was perfectly comfortable. We had a King "suite" and our young adult son stayed on the sofa bed. It was "alright" he said, though the mattress was very thin. He slept fine but would probably be uncomfortable for most adults. There was a low wall separating his area which gave a (small but decent sense of privacy. There was a good size tv, but we didn't turn it on, and a large closet if you needed to stash some stuff out of the way. With a desk, microwave, mini-fridge (which we unplugged bc it was noisy), black- out shades, and safe, the room had everything we needed. There was a pool and we saw families in bathing suits but came too late to enjoy it. Masks aren't required at this point and although we still wear in public (and the sign on door said they are required in public places), no one else wore one- not even front desk. We were on 3rd floor away from ice machine and elevator, and the only thing we heard was a ton of police sirens over a 10 minute period. We walked to Baskin-Robbins only a few blocks away. Things close early around the motel and if you want to get Dairy Queen (also open until 10 pm), be sure to drive bc the lobby closes at 9pm and they don't allow walkers at the drive- thru. Shower and bath worked well and were clean. Good water temp and pressure. The place felt safe inside, in the parking lot, in the neighborhood.
