I showed the person who wrote up the paperwork,the coupon was $29.00.he put $34.00 the estimate, I signed the paperwork, then when they finished another joker,say your bill is $58.00.,they uncharged without telling you,if they of said $58.00 I would of declined the oil change,the bill has a $5.00 charge for a drain plug gasket.that gasket most cost is $1.00,highway robbery. This is the worse shop, Do Not go here! They will take your money. They will purposely break your car for you guys to come back and check it again so that way they can keep taking money from you. This is what they did to my Honda accord 2001. I just need a new Catalytic and they didn't even change it. They also remove my radiator cap and it made my car act up and overheat. Do not come here for a smog check. They will charge you for the initial inspection, and if it doesn't pass they charge you 50% of the original price whereas other shops don't charge a penny. I spend $80 for a smog. The front desk lady just hid in the back till I went around to go get her so I can pay the extra $30. This auto shop looks like an haunted house. AVOID this repair shop if you have a newer model car or luxury vehicle. I went in for an inspection and hours later they gave me back my car with all hazardous and warning lights on. They tried to say my alternator was bad and they could fix it. They will try and hustle you if they feel you don't know much about cars. Staff is also too young, work ethic is questionable. Im already in route of going to the bureau of automotive. Horrible service went there eight months ago to get my radiator fixed and thermostat the very next day. Not even 24 hours later I was broke down on the side of the road again same problem. They fixed it now last month. A problem with overheating again ended up, taking to another shot and I was told that there was water put into the radiator when I paid for fluids charged over $200 for fluids that were never use. I recommend you don't go there or your car will be fucked up. Avoid at all costs. It has been multiple occasions now they have used the wrong motor oil, 5W-30 instead of the manufacturer recommendation 5W-20. I should not be surprised at this point. Also, this shop is notoriously slow for just an oil change. I would strongly caution against having their "technicians" perform any other service. If someone can't do an oil change correctly, they shouldn't be doing more complicated repairs. Not worth risking your engine to save a few bucks. read more

I went in on Saturday to get my smog checked and felt that the process was fast and professional. If my car happened to not pass the smog test (it passed) they offered to fix whatever issue they found and retest my car for free. They also informed me about general maintenance my car will need and showed me the issues (which I appreciate). read more

I used to bring my vehicles to Tires Plus when I lived in Reno, and established a great relationship with the shop throughout the years. When I moved to Sacramento Tires Plus is actually Firestone. They use the same database therefore, they could see my long history. This didn't matter however, they clearly aren't concerned with whether I use them as my service provider. My wife has been going to Quality tune-up for some years, which I had been skeptical in the past. I gave my business to them about 2 years ago, and they always do a great job. Alyssa is super sharp, and Pedro always makes sure their work is done correctly. They are reasonably priced, and always offer coupons and discounts as well. I have brought several different vehicles to them on many different occasions for everything from oil changes to mechanical issues, and they always provide a good service....and less expensive than Firestone too!! I recommend them for quick & quality service. I gave them a 4 star because they are limited in what they can do, not because of poor performance. read more

Took my car in and they waited until 5 minutes before closing to tell me they would have to keep it until MONDAY. Today is Saturday and you said it would be done today. They Kept my car all day and repeatedly said , it's almost done. I told them I needed it fixed that day and they said it would only take a couple hours. I dropped it off to them 11am! Taking them to small claims court because not only did they NOT fix my car , but they caused so much damage that I had to pay more money for someone else to fix . They have zero idea what they are doing ! I GOT CHARGED 800 and they literally did nothing except take off parts and pieces to my car and not put it back. I literally had pieces flying off my car when i Then my car makes more sounds and jerks more than it did before and they have the audacity to charge me even though they did NOTHING but waste my time . Went in to speak with the owner and asked for a resolution. I was given a non work email and he never responded to me except "working on it" This place is the WORST!! Making a BBB complaint and will be going to court. I tried finding a resolution but apparently the owner does not like to take care of the problems they have caused which is very unfortunate . I went in with one problem, that was never fixed and they charged me for things I didn't ask for and or didn't do. Charged me for new plugs which I never got. The extremely helpful and friendly TANNAH understood that my visit was a one - off...did not matter...told her I had a lunch in an hour...they were done in 25 mins AND she asked if I was a Vet and gave me a $10 discount knowing I would probably never come back to her shop. One of the worst experiences Ive had at a repair shop! I went in on a Saturday around 2pm. They were very busy so I asked the guy behind the counter if they had time for an oil change. He checked his appointments and said they could do it in about 45 minutes. I gave them my information and got the estimate. It was gonna cost around 50 bucks. I left to get a car wash and came back to quality in 40 minutes. I left my key with the service tech and sat down in the office. A few minutes later the technician came back and asked if there was a special way to start my car. I said no, and went outside to start it. My car wouldnt turn over. I was supprised because I didnt have any problems prior to going over there. The service manager came out at this point and said, people come in here all the time with issues before closeing and expect us to fix it. I couldn't belive the lack of understanding, and rudeness. I felt accused of sneaky behavior. She then told the service tech, " well you are in training what would you do?" They decided to try and jump start my car with a jumper box. The kid clearly didnt know what he was doing. At this point the manager said to the tech is the box charged? He seemed unsure. My car would not start sh@#! The service manager said " you cant leave it here!" We can do a no start diagnosis on monday for 110 bucks. Needless to say I called a tow truck. The tow truck driver jumped it with his jumper box no problem! Do you think anyone from Quality ever followed up with me NO! If i could give Quality tune up less than 1 star I would! I am very disappointed. They had really messed up. A couple days after getting my oil changed, I went to change my headlight. When we popped the hood, there was no oil cap and oil was splashed all over my engine and under the hood. When I called to let Quality know, they stated, "how do we know it was us? Maybe it happened some other way." I had no reason to pop my hood after the oil change. Mind you, this came after my husband got an oil change and he drove down the street afterwards to get new wiper blades only to come out and all the oil was all over the ground. They didn't put in the oil filter on right. My husband was stranded as we could drive the car with no oil and had to wait for someone from Quality to drive over. Because we like to support local businesses, we gave them another shot and then the above happened with my car. Okay, third time is the charm? No three strikes and you are out. My husband went back and with reluctance got another oil change. A week later, we popped the hood to provide a jump to another car, only to find that the air intake duct was missing. When he went to talk to the owner, the owner stated, "no this isn't us. How do I know you didn't do something with it?" When my husband reiterated that the part needs to be replaced, he was told it was his fault and told to leave the property? Really? This is how you do business? Missing parts? Maybe they have a second business of selling your parts. read more

Took my car in to replace the alternator. They charged me over $430 for a repurposed alternator, which I thought was would have been brand new since a new one is about $200. Needless to say when all was done. I ended up paying just about a $1000 for replace a repurposed alternator. They are a rip off !!
