Worst experience ever. I needed my living room glass replaced. The technician pulls stright into the drive way. Walks into my home. Takes a quick measurement. Turns around and says it's to windy out today and he cannot replace the glass. I then asked him if he was going to call off all his opponents for the day due to the inclement weather. He left. I called Santa paula glass. They came out same day. Replaced the glass within hours for the same price. ... and yes. It was still windy out at the time of replacement. read more

Poor customer service. Customer has to keep calling in to check on status of order. The front desk won't call you to notify you nor an email. On top of all that they won't call to let you know order is ready for install. You have to call them to schedule an appointment for the install of your order that you placed. read more

We had Quality Windows perform a large home project near the ocean. Numerous oversized panes of glass on the second story needed to be replaced, as well as, interior mechanism replacement and servicing of multiple windows that had weathered from age and beach air. Yes, Covid backlog caused a delay with receiving parts but that was out of their control. The work was completed over several visits and the employees were always on time, professional and courteous. I had my house refitted with double-paned windows and a set of French doors 16 years ago. One of the sidelight to the French door became loose along with a broken-embedded screw that I couldn't fix. The company sent out a repair tech, and he fixed it with no charge. Today one of the latches on a Milgard window had become loose and I couldn't figure how to fix. David was initially helpful, and Anthony went above and beyond to immediately talk with a Milgard rep, and look at my amateur video of the problem. From the moment I called for an appointment they were super professional. Let me know that it was free to come out for a quote. They gave me an appointment within two days. We purchased 9 windows/3sliders and a door on December 14. The salesman was professional and told us exactly what everything would cost at that meeting. He told us it would be 4-5 weeks for the products (single hung and double hung and sliders) to be made. They were on time and it took 2 days to do the job. Also as promised. Our cat knocked a chair into our window one night and completely shattered it. After looking up window repair companies in the area, we had it narrowed down to Quality Windows & Glass and another company. The other company flat-out told us that they couldn't give us an estimate over the phone without checking out our window first. Quality Windows & Glass gave us a tentative estimate with the glass measurements we gave them, and came over the next day. We were given a time frame of 2PM-3PM; our repairman arrived promptly at 2:02PM. He measured the glass needed, went out to his truck to cut the glass, and installed it. That was it. The whole thing took less than half an hour. Being able to provide an idea of what the repair would cost was what made us go with Quality Windows & Glass. It saved us the time it would have taken the other company to come out and inspect the damage, go back to order our glass, then come back and install it. Worst customer experience. They are very nice until they get your deposit. After that, the communication is done. They were unable to provide the window for 1 of our restrooms due to the size. We bought one from to have installed later and they ordered us a new construction window in error, the other 7 installed were retrofit. They are refusing to provide the correct window or refund the money for one they ordered incorrectly. read more

I had windows installed at my house and was told it would only take one day. The installers did not show up until 10:00 am. The supervisor then had to go to Home Depot to pick up booties they did not wear and cloths to keep broken glass off the floor. One of the installers started by telling me they may not finish in one day because they are having personnel problems and had fired 3 people the day before, reorganization ... not what I wanted to hear. It took about 3 hours for them to demo all the windows even though we asked them to focus on one side of the house first so we could get our dogs back into the dog run. Then the entire crew (5) left for lunch at the same time instead of staggering their lunches which was about 1 hour and 15-20 minutes. During that time there were no windows in the house, and all the tools and gates were left out in the open. At 4:30 I received a call from the office stating they would not be able to finish in one day. They told me we will be back next week to finish. Since I had to take the day off and will not be in town next week I told them that was unacceptable. They stated we will try to get someone out on Saturday after I explained I could not take another day off work. At ten minutes to five the crew started to load their stuff and left. None of the furniture they moved or blinds they removed were put back. In walking the work areas I could see slivers of glass on the floor inside the house and outside. I had to put all the furniture back and finish cleaning all the slivers of glass out of the dog area and inside my house. There was scratches on my gym floor and broken out drywall where they removed the blinds that the salesperson told us would not have to be removed. I would give them 0 stars if I could because quality windows doesn't give you quality customer service at all. I signed up to have new windows installed Sept 2021. Here we are in Jan 2022 and no windows. First I was told that I can save on permits if I go get it myself for around $100.00. Then I'm told by the city that permits would be over $300.00. (Mark Davis) my salesman / manager apologized and said not to worry, that they will pay for it for me, so I was pleased with that, but then enerbank who approved my loan for the job and gave me an approval# called me this month saying they needed me to take the freeze off my credit so they could run it again. I said no, because I'm already approved and am waiting to hear from quality windows to begin the work. They suggested I speak to them about it. So I called (Mark Davis) again. He agreed with me and said they already have me approved and re- running my credit should not be neccessary. He told me not to worryabout it, and that he will talk to them, and call me first thing in the morning. That was over a week ago and he never called me back as promised. If you are looking to get great customer service don't go to quality windows because you won't get it there. At this point I wouldn't trust them to touch my house because if they screwed something up and damaged anything, I just don't think they would follow up promtly with me to fix it. Previously had them replace a broken window and was very satisfied with the way it turned out. Since than we have moved and needed a shower and bathroom door put in. We got several estimates, than called them to see if they also did regular doors. They do! So, had them come over to give us an estimate. Based on my previous experience with them, we went with them. They told us it would take a while to get both doors in. We didn't mind since we weren't in a hurry to get it done. They kept us informed when the first door came in and called us to set up the install after the second one came in. All was done as promised. The same person that had previously come to give us the estimate was part of the installation crew. I think this is a great idea and very helpful since he knew exactly what we wanted! Anthony and Jenry came to repair my shower glass door which had moved off the track. They went above and beyond by cleaning up the calcium buildup and even making the glass sparkle again while they replaced the glass onto the track. They wore their covid masks, cleaned up after themselves, and were very nice, polite and helpful. I would recommend Quality Windows and Doors for any work. My one star is for Mark, the sales guys, he was super nice and tried to help us when he could but this entire project was a nightmare that only resolved itself until the 4th "technician" visit. Let me walk you down this road from the beginning. My mom wanted a new door for her house so I went to visit her in Oxnard so I could help her with the process-I only add this in case the validity of this review is questioned due to my previous reviews not being in the Ventura county area. Went to Home Depot got some door quotes, prices were crazy cheap but design was not appealing. Went on Yelp, saw the 3.5 stars for this business but thought, "meh, I've been to plenty of places with low ratings that turned out to be ok" so I rolled the dice. Called for a quote, guy scheduling was short and not excited for the business at all but whatever it was a weekend, he probably didn't want to be there, can't blame him. Mark comes out some days later which is fine because I can only be there on weekends. Met with Mark, and he sold us on the door and design. The door took FOREVER to get manufactured, but that's ok, the door wasn't falling apart or anything. During the manufacturing wait time I added double hardware from them as well so it could be ready by the time the door was going to be installed. Installation day came and the guys were in and out fast, buuuuut the door was so wrong, color wrong, hardware missing on one half of the door. Round 2, hardware properly installed but color still wrong and we got some interior home drywall damage. Round 3, finally everything gets fixed but they forget some finishing touches, or at least that's what the tech said. Round 4, finally everything is done nothing is missing. Then we get a bill for the second hardware that got installed since they had given us back $500 for not installing it during round 1, and ok I get it, $500 is a lot, but wow so sad I got no discount for this mess. I'm sorry for putting you guys through this review but it's Memorial Day weekend and I had time. In conclusion, if you were a friend of mine I would not recommend this place, but if I mildly dislike you sure try them out. read more

Quality Windows installed 4 replacement windows in our home in Oxnard, and I couldn't be more pleased. 18 months ago the company installed a skylight, but this was a more involved job. First, the GM Mike Bradish made the initial sales consultation and he was professional, very knowledgeable (much more so than a competitor who also bid on the job), and personable. The price they bid was definitely better than the competition. The office followed up to process the order and was professional. The two-man crew who installed the windows was great. They showed up on time and carefully put down tarps to contain the dust. They were experts at the installation which looked better than I imagined. They were very personable and cleaned up after the job. Best price, beautiful product and installation, easy to deal with. I will definitely call Quality Windows again. read more

Not a good place to go with if you are a renter. They won't talk to you or give you any information they will only speak to the landlord. So you could be left in the Lurch for days with no information. We went with them because they got a high review but they treat us like we're second-class citizens because we're renters. They only got our business because we called them our landlord was going to go through somebody else that was going to take a long time. The guy that did the free estimate said he would let us know by the next day what he was going to do but we haven't heard anything and they won't let us talk to him and they say for some reason they can't talk to him. We know everybody has cell phones so that was a bunch of malarkey. They told us to contact our landlord who is also hard to get ahold of in the meantime the doors off the hinges where he left it. I waited a while before writing this review just in case things ended in a different way but alas it hasn't . The salesperson Mark won us over with his demeanor ( prices were not the lowest) but it all went downhill from there. This company has the very worst customer service my husband and I had ever experienced. There were problems every step of the way and the communication between different staff was almost non-existent . The graffiti film we order was bubbled the screens were wrong and damaged the door they installed was not done as promised. We continued to try and contact people at the company and were given excuses and a never ending run around. Oscar was the worst! Never called when he said he would Could not be trusted to resolve concerns. Every now and then we would call Mark our sales rep and he would act like the problem was going to be " handled" and to this day it hasn't . Still waiting for the owner to call us as we were promised over a month ago. Wish we would have went with another company. Ultimately they abandoned the job rather than fix the issues. We even called the manufacturer Milgard and they replaced a screen . Beware .! Do not be fooled by sales reps! Do not put down more than 10% or $1000 ( whichever is less) . I recently had an "emergency" situation and Quality Windows really had my back. My kids broke a glass table top that my mom really liked, so the first chance I got I snuck away with the table to Quality Windows for a glass top replacement. The staff were great and I was greeted and told someone would be with me shortly. I appreciated being seeing--since a lot of other places treat you as a number and you just wait your turn. Shortly after M assisted me and I told her my situation and she promised she would have someone get it done by the same day. Usually services like that take 1-2 days. Long story short Henry who also perfectly cut the glass made a miracle happen by keeping their word and getting me the table back the same day. They were all sweet enough to even stay after hours for me to get there. So my window and door were replaced January 17 and Ventura Building and Safety just left my condo after signing off on the final inspection today. Even the building inspector said that it was a job well done, and I agree! Not only does it look better but you can't even hear the window and door open, they're so quiet! The old door would wake the dead when you opened it...imagine nails on chalkboard. Also in one month my electricity use has gone down because of the insulation provided by the double panes. It's been a chilly, wet winter and our condo is electric heated, so we definitely noticed the difference between the last two rainstorms. The costs did end up going up to about $4500 but partly it was because my door was an inch shorter than standard, so that added a bit of time and cost and Ventura Building and Safety required Quality pull the permit because my condo is "attached," so that added another $250 to the bill, plus permit fees. But you get what you pay for and $4500 later I have a warmer place that has a much nicer window and slider and I can probably sell the place for $10,000 more now just because I've already gone through the effort. Bryan was easy to work with, communicated the issues and small hiccups promptly and the installers were great too. I had to take a plank out of my deck so they could install the door (and I then had to cut a small half inch indent so the plank was flush with the new door) and they accidentally left with two of my trim boards in their trash. I made a panicked phone call to the installer 30 minutes after he left and he was able to locate the boards AND drop them off on my patio the next day while I was at work.
