This is my second Ford I've ever driven, and I'm not used to leaving my car at a dealership for a week for them to diagnose the issue, especially compared to when I take my Japanese vehicles to the dealership and they diagnose it right then and there. Other than that, they take good care of me and my vehicle, though I haven't had any major repairs done because any smart person knows that dealerships tend to overcharge. Aside from some minor issues, they've been solid.

We discussed the price, warranties, mileage, features, and options on this loaner vehicle in detail. I made it clear that I was coming down to see it and purchase it today. Archie even told me to ask for Mickey, the Sales Manager. When I arrived, Mickey had no idea I was coming--he was not expecting me. Once we sat down, I was told the vehicle was actually loaned out and not even on the lot. Additionally, the vehicle had 6,000-7,000 miles on it, not the 3,000 miles advertised online or confirmed over the phone. They attempted to "make good" with another deal, but it wasn't even close to comparable. This is a textbook example of deceptive marketing and bait-and-switch tactics: lure customers in with an attractive offer, then try to sell them something more expensive. What's worse, the General Manager, who knew I was coming, did not even have the courtesy to speak to me or apologize for wasting my time. Buyers beware when dealing with this dealership in Rosenberg, Texas.

Unfortunately they couldnt because the last oil change (at Finnegans) they stripped the bolt to the oil pan. I left the first garage and I have presented here at Finnegans for my oil change. I am waiting to see whether they will come clean. They were not honest when they originally stripped the bolt but they can redeem themselves if they are honest today. More updates to follow. Update: nobody came clean about the damage. However when I confronted them they looked and agreed to replace the bolt that they stripped on a previous visit. I am to return in two days and have them replace the bolt so that I can have the oil changed anywhere. My gratitude to my advisor Mr Lleiwi. However my faith in the service department has suffered a big set back.

Before, when I was talking with the GM Mr. Torres he told me a few times that he would talk and have a meeting with Mr Finnegan the next day because he was coming in and they would talk about my issues but then he was the one that started telling me he hasn't come in. I have left messages, wrote different reviews on different platforms but absolutely nothing from them in a total of about 6 weeks that i have been lookingfor answers. Updated to 5 stars plus Original post: I drop my Jeep off and it takes 4 days to look at. Of course it is nothing the warranty covered because they can't replicate the transmission issue. I'm not sure they even tried. How I know this is they never inspected it as they said because they didn't drive it 50 miles as they said To inspect it after a very expensive tune up. Supposedly they drove it a lot to try to replicate the transmission issues. I dropped the Jeep due to check engine light on that we thought was due to the transmission or linkage. The transmission issue isn't fixed. And my vehicle is not inspected. Also not washed like they claimed they would and 9 days later I have my Jeep back no inspection now I have to drive expired 50 miles to get an inspection.

Since I do not, the next best thing was finding LA Auto which is Woman owned and Operated to fix my ride! LA Auto was brought to my attention thanks to the Projects feature in the Yelp App. I sent out a request for a job or service and Yelp broadcasted it to businesses to reach out to me concerning the service. I had initially had a different mechanic before LA Auto that was going to do the job, but a price change occurred before the vehicle was in their possession. Decide to nix that mechanic and go back to the drawing board acquiring estimates for the job. By this point, I had already ordered and picked up my parts directly from the dealership so they would match my vehicle. All I needed was the labor to complete the repair. I was really intrigued that there was a Woman owned and operated auto shop in Houston, so I decided to reach back out to the shop about an estimate for labor. My inquiry was Friday afternoon, so I didn't expect to hear back until Monday. Liz, the Owner, however, was in contact with me in and out the entire weekend asking for pictures of the parts to ensure they were correct for the vehicle based on the VIN as well as making sure they didn't need to paint the handles. She gave me a range on the price for the labor, which I could understand because she never saw the vehicle before- only pictures of the damage. We did most of our communication on Monday which offerred a great opportunity for me to get the car fixed that afternoon since she had an opening. I honestly thought I may have to come back another day to get the job completed because EVERY OTHER BODY SHOP I SPOKE TO said I would have to drop the car off just to get an estimate. I did that with one Pearland body shop and received a quote of over a THOUSAND dollars just to fix some handles! They even stated the labor was high because the panels of the car had to be removed. Thanks to Youtube, II knew that was not the case and Liz the owner and my mechanic confirmed my research as she completed the work on the vehicle in less than an hour WITHOUT removing the inside panels. She worked fast and I was even able to see her work from the office which provides a chair or two inside for waiting customers. A/C is blizzard cold inside the waiting area, so bring a jacket. This is not your car dealership waiting room with tvs and refreshments, so bring your own, but Liz worked so fast I didn't need to indulge in either! Really friendly, sincere, and affordable service from Liz at LA Auto. I am so glad to not only have my car repaired (FINALLY, with the exception of one small part that the dealership gave me in error that doesnt affect the main fix) but I am so estatic to support a small business owned and operated by women. I am telling everyone I know about LA Auto if they ever need repairs on their vehicle. This place is a real gem and deserves to shine!
