I like this place a lot. Secluded on the east side of AZ ave it's somewhat less crowded compared to the other downtown spots. Great beer selection and the perfect place to relax. They have a few games (cornhole, disc golf, basketball hoops), and share a patio with civic market so there is food within 30 feet. read more

I checked out the opening of the QuartHaus yesterday and had a couple of brews. It was a little tough to find but after trying a few doors we were greeted by a friendly bartender that walked us through the concept and where they are heading. The site is modern, clean, and has plenty of space for large groups. Their bar area dominates the main room but they have an open larger room with plenty of seating next to some of the still equipment they will be using to craft their own spirts. There is no food here but I was told they will have food trucks and also have a place right next door that will. The grounds are open and their liquor license covers the who area so you can walk around with your drinks which is really nice and something I wish you could do at Barnone. The outside area has cornhole, Bball court, and lots of grass to chill in with great seating. The beer list was good but they are still growing into it. They are also trying to run with less mainstream flavors of many of the breweries you know and love. I would love to see an NE style IPA in the future but again they are just getting rolling. read more

OMG!!! Love this place. It's like a Children's playground for adults. But, not only for adults but dogs as well. Super dog friendly. Ambiance is very inviting and relaxing. Beer list has a variety of beer so that everyone can be accommodated. They don't serve food but have places that serve food to venue. Why I love this place: 1. You can bring your dogs, inside!!!! 2. The beer is cold, seems like a lot to ask, but lately, all the beers been coming out in warm glasses wherever we go. So serving in cold glasses really makes a difference. 3. You can order food a few steps away and they deliver inside the bar. There's tons of games like ping pong, connect four, Jenga, and a great out door space (I'll be it, it's really hot right now) where kids can play basket ball and family's can watch free outdoor movies... again with your dogs! We've been long time patrons of this place, it seems to have gone downhill very fast. We've been here with and without kids, in a small group as well as a large group. It seems they have issues with people with children, and people there to celebrate. On one occasion a lady (I believe the owner) kept chasing me all evening to clean up after our kids, which I told her I was! There were bags of potato chips that I had collected in a grocery bag under our table, to throw away in the dumpster later - since its at the other end of the basketball court. She had a problem with that and wanted me to take it to the dumpster right away! On another occasion we were blamed for creating a mess in their bathroom, when clearly the 30+ other patrons were using the restrooms equally as much! And these are restrooms they clean just once a day (at night) anyway! This past weekend was the straw that broke the camel's back. We got a late night msg from the owner saying the kids left broken balloons around the table we sat. I mean.. really? is that even an issue? Of course we picked up and cleaned out as much as we always do - everywhere we go out to eat. Not sure what the big deal was. God forbid if you host an event here, they might blame you for bringing the building down. No, thank you, I will take my business else where, there's plenty of places with good beer in Chandler. Speaking of which, they don't brew here, and the beer's been flat lately. read more

I held my milestone birthday party here and it was such a great time. It had an Old theme so everyone was dress well beyond their years. The staff was great with accommodating food tables, storage and never ending service. We had many kids of all ages who were also taken care of with their drinks as well. I love this place read more

Came here for happy hour in the middle of the week with a group of friends. There weren't very many people, which was nice, but this is a gem, so it won't always be like that. The owners were super friendly and willingly offered suggestions and sample of their wines and beers. The resident greeter (dog) was a sweet and friendly surprise. We ordered pizza from Civic Market across the game area and they walked them over, which was great. There is a large outdoor area with tables and couches, as well as yard games and basketball court. We can't wait to come back when it is cooler to enjoy that. read more

This place is off the main Arizona Ave, away from the busyness (well, in normal times). Parking is a cinch, free garage across the street. The misters are amazing. Beer selection always changes and they keep it fresh. Grassy area and different areas to sit inside and out. Really like that they sell growlers and now small snacks. You can also have food delivered from Civic Market (on the same lot) or other places. Staff is knowledgeable about the beer and spirits, very friendly. They are super friendly! They also have corn hole, basketball, and golf frisbee... plus a cool little indoor area too! The beer flights are awesome! Firstly i drove past this place like 3 times before i found it. Their sign being painted on the wall is hard to see if there are any cars parked out front. Suggestion, get a bigger sign and put it up high. We walked in at 4pm on a Sunday hoping to enjoy some food and drinks. The place was deserted, only one customer and one bartender. She didn't say hi or ask if we needed anything. We saw that pizza was the only option. My wife won't eat cheese so that's a little disappointing. I could see that they had a lot of tap beer so I'm gonna give this place another try. i heard they have live music. That's great, another reason to come back. Stopped by for some samples of local craft brews at this new "drink-ery." Our bartender, A.J. was very knowledgeable about the business, its beers and wines, as well as being accommodating and friendly. She told us how this place is evolving from a warehouse-type historic building in downtown Chandler to a hot spot for local craft brew, wines, and soon, craft distilled beverages too. Basketball, corn hole, and eventually bocce ball on the patio. No food, except for some small bites, and food trucks stopping by on weekends. We were told plans for an adjacent building are to be a combination market, coffee bar and pizza place. We're excited to see what happens! Beers were cold and tasty... several Arizona favorites on tap. Will be a good place to fill up growlers too! We're looking forward to coming back on weekend evenings for food truck bites and live music events. read more

Very cool new hip bar in downtown Chandler! They have 25 local craft beers, picked by AJ the "beer goddess" and she knows A LOT about the different beers. They also have a handful of Arizona wines on tap. Currently there is no food, but Peter and his team are creating a fun atmosphere that will have food options! They also will bring in food trucks on some weekend nights. They have a couple basketball hoops, numerous bags sets and an dog friendly outside environment that's very chill and welcoming. We love it here! We live pretty close, so it's nice to have a place to come for a drink (they have an amazing, curated selection), sit out side, play chess or cards and see a few dogs running around! It's so close to downtown but doesn't have that overwhelming bar scene feeling. We somehow always miss the food trucks and bands but we don't mind at all! I did enjoy the beer and atmosphere...at first. I have to say, I expect less toddlers running rampant while visiting a brew house. Do you remember the line from Sweet Home Alabama : "you have a baby ... in a bar...". Hard to enjoy your Saturday afternoon when someone's kids are tossing around Jenga pieces while the parents stare obliviously in the other direction. Picked this place for happy hour with coworkers and glad I did. Not your ordinary watering hole. Feels more like a backyard chill spot with the basketball hoop filled with kids playing while adults put a few back. At one point a go kart started whipping around to everyone's amusement. Limited menu after dark but no complaints because the pizza was perfect for late night munchies to share with the group. They make their in house vodka.The owner was there and made us feel like family with his gracious generosity. I immediately loved the vibe, when I walked through the inviting grounds outside. A beautiful grass area, a basketball court, and plenty of outdoor seating. While these things don't draw me in, personally, they translate into a welcome feeling in my eyes. The inside was just as inviting. No frills, or over the top decor. Nice, clean, and simple. This is the perfect "local" drinking spot. The owners are there every day, and you are recognized and made to feel like a regular almost immediately. It is quiet in the afternoon and hopping in the evening. It is the perfect place to bring a friend for a good talk or your laptop to get some work done over a beer. The owners give out free popcorn when they are there. The outside is wonderfully set up. It is on the shady side in the summer with lots of misters and every outside game you can think of is set up and ready to go. There is even a ping pong table I've been meaning to break in. Some of the beers are crafted by them, and they are REALLY good. (Try the DUI-PA as long as you have an uber). I can't say enough about the place. read more
