It was a beautiful day and I was dying to sit out on a patio somewhere. We settled on Pedal Haus and it was a great choice! I attempted to dine at the downtown location a couple years ago and it was an awful experience and I never actually got to enjoy the meal. We split a bbq bacon cheeseburger and a chop salad (very similar to a cobb) and it was enough for two of us. The front patio was mostly shaded and very enjoyable. Our original server was inattentive and Josette came to the rescue! She ended up taking care of us and was very personable and social and provided exceptional service despite being incredibly busy.

Michelle and I had a great visit, start to finish. We showed up with our dog and the host was great, she worked with to find a spot to give Bodhi a little extra moving room, without being in the way. Then our waitress came, Jo. She asked if we've been in before and then give us the lowdown on the beer and food recommendations, super freindly. The beer was delicious, I got the Black IPA (highly recommend it) & we shared some delicious food. So yes the food and drink was tasty, but the stars of this review is the staff. We interacted with 5 or six folks, all smiles. And the big bonus here is how they reacted with our dog. They took time to say hi, brought him dog treats and a bowl of water and generally were good folks. Yes, Bodhi is handsome and well behaved mut, but you can tell they are genuinely dog folks. One last thing, the environment. We sat outside on the side of the building, the inside was clean and welcoming and they have a large back space. It was nice and we will be back.

Came here last night coming from the airport, I didn't eat anything that day at all. I was so hungry and came around here to eat and grab a quick drink. We went to other places around that wasn't serving any food at 8:45pm when they close at 10pm. We came here to this lovely place right at 9pm (an hour before closing and we felt bad but I was so hungry) to see if we can still get food and they all were very welcoming and friendly and said they are still serving food. They still had a lot of people in there but We sat outside, it wasn't busy but when we came but you can tell this place gets busy. Our waitress was the best! Parker, is her name I believe. She is the sweetest and reassuring that we are okay. She suggested an IPA, 'white rabbit' I like sweet ones but they don't have sweet ones but the white rabbit was light and it's was pretty good. Absolutely loved it. She was amazing checking on us to make sure everything was okay. We got our food, the guy who brought them was awesome as well! and both the chicken sandwich and nachos were so delicious. The steak on the nachos was so good. The steak it's self and the chili beans were really tasty! We left around 9:40pm, I hated doing that but I was so hungry and the staff was all pretty awesome. I want to say thanks to all of them! I have to come to try the chili by its self and other food and drinks. The place was clean and such a cute place, really nice atmosphere, can't wait to come back.

Nice brewery where they have won several awards for their beers! Overall the menu was a bit smaller than I expected but food was still not bad. The fried chicken was just a tad over salted. Service was great as this server we had was super sweet and funny

A great spot if you like beer and American classics like burgers or Mac and cheese. The staff were very friendly and we were seated on the patio, where there were lots of televisions to watch sports games. Live music and regular music was playing, but it wasn't too loud where I couldn't speak with my friends. Sidenote, when we were first seated, I got a strange scent that reminded me of a stale water smell, but I started to notice it less as the meal went on. I ordered the pineapple jalepeño margarita and bbq burger, which came with fries. Absolutely loved the margarita - it was mostly sweet with a tiny kick of spice at the end that definitely tickles your throat! The burger was yummy, but pretty standard. The burger came out to be around $16, and most entrees were in the $14-$17 range. My friends got the chicken mac and cheese and chicken pesto, which were also decent. Overall, liked the ambience and food, beer, and drinks were good. If you come on a weekend, expect a little bit of a wait to get your food!

Dined at the downtown Chandler location on a Sunday night with a light crowd inside. The hostess sat us a table staring into the setting sun and the metal chairs were uncomfortable so our server let us move to the high top which was much better. I'd only been here for happy hour once before so I was excited to try a main course off the menu. First we ordered the bavarian pretzel and at $13 we were hoping it was amazing...and it was! It was large enough for 3 of us to split and it came with 3 dips which were all outstanding- a house mustard, beer cheese and maple butter. The maple butter was unique and tasty! We then ordered our meals. I got the Nashville hot chicken sandwich. My wife got a BBQ Bacon Burger and my son ordered the fish and chips. They come with 'seasoned' fries or for an upgrade garlic truffle fries. We all got the seasoned fries but ended up disappointed it was a very mild seasoning and after one bite of the Nashville hot sandwich I could no longer taste any seasoning on the fries. The chicken sandwich was really good but a tad smaller than I expected. The brioche bun was perfect as it was incredibly soft but held the sandwich together still. My wife enjoyed her burger and my son liked his fish and chips but he said it wasn't much different than anywhere else. I liked that we could talk to each other across the table easily as the ambient noise in the restaurant was nice and low. Even with about ten people at the bar just behind us it was a very comfortable setting. The music wasn't too loud and the TV volume was off. This is a nice touch as many breweries are very loud and I have a difficult time following the conversations at my own table. Overall, this is another good spot in downtown Chandler and worth a drop in.

Super cool place and right across the street from the parking garage so you don't have a long walk to it! We came in for dinner on a Friday night ( peak chandler so expect waits!) and we found two recent open spots at the bar! Score! We ordered a beer and wine and settled into the menu. What a great menu it is! Offers main stay as well as some eclectic dishes. The service was also amazing. Two people working in the bar and both of them were super attentive to us. We were shocked to see they had a vegan menu so ordered off that. I wish I could give you the long list of meals we got to share, but we each got the mac n cheese (kinda holy grail for a vegan to find!). And yes, it was delicious! Many TV'S loud sports bar ambience and a cool outdoor patio. When in Chandler go check out Pedal Haus!

Let's start this off with the two of us were there on St. Patrick's Day. Probably close to noon or one.. Busy busy for the staff. Was about a 40 minute wait to get a spot on the patio to eat and have a beverage. Our staff member was a young man in his 20s and I wish I remember his name. He was highly amusing, attentive & relatable. Made you feel comfortable and part of the fun hustling and bustling of the ambience in the restaurant. Hat's off to the kitchen staff as well for delivering wings that my partner says are the best wings she ever had. I am almost positive I could agree. I'll have to try it for the third time just to make sure. . Really plump and juicy with just the right amount of sauce. We shared just the barbecue flavor this time. I typically like to go a little hotter like mango habanero style hot, but we were sharing the wings and an order of fries.. I'm rather particular about getting food, served hot, including french fries and this place was spot on. Well done, well done . The hiring team did it right and so did the staff. I hope you all made some good money that day, you deserved it.

Came here on a Tuesday evening and had a great time. We sat in the bar area and didn't have to wait. The restaurant does have the pub vibe and they have the beer barrels as the tables. Not the most comfortable to sit at though. We loved the wings and got the hot honey flavor. 10/10. The pretzel with the beer cheese was delicious as well. The pimento and guacamole with chips was okay. We also split the green chili burger with Parmesan truffle fries. Our service was great and food was overall good. We'll definitely be back!

A staple spot to grab a bite and hang with friends! I've been to Pedal Haus many times but this was the first time I ordered the Protein Bowl and I was shocked at how much I loved it! The chile lime brussel sprouts are my newest obsession and paired well with the chicken and quinoa. Definitely one of my new favorite meals in DT chandler.

    Bratwurst corn dogs
    Shawna M.

I came to the pedal haus with friends who are locals. I ordered the corn dogs from the HH menu. The brats were barely luke warm, but a nice snack. The batter was crispy and light. I also ordered the protein bowl with shrimp and it was excellent. I would have like a little more dressing on it, but a great dish that I didn't feel guilty eating.

    Haus Bloody
    Hailey R.

My last couple visits at Pedal Haus have been great! Their patio is dog-friendly and spacious to bring pups and isn't too crowded early on a weekend for brunch. Their drink prices are excellent, especially during brunch. Service is excellent and the location is conveniently close to a parking garage. Recently, I've ordered the Asian steak & noodle salad and the PHB protein bowl with steak and both are great! They aren't typical brewery dishes and don't feel overly heavy. The steak is tender and flavorful. In the protein bowl, the Brussels sprouts are excellent and all of the components work well together.

The location has a quaint, house-style feel with beautifully manicured grounds. The large doors were open, allowing a lovely breeze to flow through, a welcomed touch. There's also a convenient parking lot right next door, which was a pleasant surprise. The restaurant offers a variety of seating options: outside patio, high-top outdoor seating, inside bar seating, and traditional indoor dining. We arrived in that sweet spot between lunch and happy hour, so the restaurant was quiet and relaxed, exactly how we like it. Drinks My Blue Hawaiian ($15) was absolutely amazing, it really hit the spot, and I was still feeling great when we left! My husband ordered the Pizza Port Chronic ($5) and said it was a nice, refreshing change of pace. Our Server Andrew Andrew greeted us immediately, walked us through both the food and drink menus, and was genuinely knowledgeable and enthusiastic. He was the highlight of our visit. Exceptional service. Appetizer Butter Board & Bread We started with the Butter Board ($14), served with toasted bread. The butter itself, whipped with ricotta, herbs, and what I believe was a honey drizzle, was absolutely delicious. My only note is that the bread edges were toasted a bit too dark for my taste, leaving a slightly burnt crust flavor and aroma. Entrées I ordered the Seared Scallops ($48), which were plated with white potatoes, purple potatoes (possibly ube), and sausage over a rich sauce. Unfortunately, the purple potatoes had a burnt taste that was off-putting, and I wasn't able to finish much of my meal. My husband, on the other hand, thoroughly enjoyed his Grilled Striped Bass ($48), beautifully plated and well-executed. Final Thoughts While my entree missed the mark this visit, Andrew's outstanding service and the overall ambience more than carried the experience. The space is gorgeous, the concept is lovely, and I can absolutely see returning when the seasonal menu refreshes. In my opinion, it's worth a second chance, we will be back.

Music is always on pointe and I would never change the look or ambiance of the place either. My last trip here though I had to ask about why the menu had stopped changing as often since we were one of two parties there in the middle of happy hour and there was a large framed picture of a bartender with a bunch of signed notes on the bottom of it beside me at the bar. It turns out that one of the oldest curators and bartenders of the bar and restaurant had passed from a drunk driving incident and I had not known at all! Gosh I was so disappointed in myself that I had ever complained about not having a new menu to try after that...but at the same time it was amazing to hear so many great anecdotes and to learn so much more about him and the history of the bar itself while dining this time. I had a lot of fun times at this bar - including remembering the first time I met that bartender and sharing that memory with the staff that told me their story. They also shared that they would be coming out with a new menu very soon and some of the new items and ideas that would be rolling out so I am also very excited to go back! As for the food, we had the Fish & Chips with a Mahi Mahi Slaw & Fries, the Ahi Poke Tacos which come in Wonton shells. Hot Honey and Sausage Pizza was great. The Barbacoa Nachos had all the right ingredients & the Double Smash Burger had only some "fancy sauce" on the plate. We were setup in a separate dining area from the main dining room, which allowed for better conversation without added noise. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive the entire time we were there, which was a couple hours. The milk bread is an absolute must! It's so pillowy soft and the flaky sea salt perfectly compliments it. I ordered the Wise Decision cocktail, which was refreshing. For my entree, I had the shishito Caesar salad and was advised I could add a protein from their skewer selection of chicken, pork belly or oyster mushrooms. I asked the waitress about the chicken and she advised that they are smoked and will appear pink from that, so not to be alarmed, but are moist and really flavorful. While the filet was tempting (and what everyone else at my table ordered), I wanted something lighter. Thankfully I was not disappointed in my selection. The chicken was as delicious as described and could be cut with a fork. The Caesar salad was well dressed, but not soggy. Do I think it was worth the money to add the chicken? Not if I were paying, but since my company paid for it, I think it was worth it. This is a great spot for a date night or special occasion.

The milk bread and cast iron Brie were insane, I would totally recommend to get one each for the table to share. We got the bone in short rib and were pleasantly surprised with how much meat was on the bone and how easily it fell apart. The dish is a little heavy so I would suggest something else that is light/citrus to complement the dish. Overall the service and food at filthy left a great impression!

6/6/26: Holy mackerel, what a treat! We applaud the staff at The Gilbert House for giving us such a…read moregreat experience, and highly recommend it. Parking: it looks to be severely limited but there is so much more parking to the east we had no problem finding a spot. Cocktails: boozy. :-) We ordered the Wake Up Call sans espresso, plus the brunch punch. I had to ask for an extra shot of cream because drinking so much bourbon & rum on an empty stomach got me a little fuzzy in the head. LOL! Never fear, the wonderful food soaked up the booze, the amount of water I downed helped, AND we walked around the area, as well as visiting the book store next door. Food: caramel roll, caprese omelet, California benedict. 100% delectable. Nothing was left on our plates. We would have licked them off if so many people weren't surrounding us, enjoying their meals. Ha ha! Staff: the ebullient gentleman welcoming us "warned" us about their fresh cinnamon rolls, saying they're large as a head, and though you could eat one alone, you may want to share. He was NOT kidding & yeah, we shared. Our server, Olivia, was so happy and chatty, she was extremely pleasant & attentive. We never felt neglected or ignored. The only hiccup to the visit was seeing some young chickee at another table suck on a vape. Luckily, that was mere minutes before we left, otherwise, we would have snitched on her. ;-)

I also loved that the porch was dog friendly, so even your furry family members can join. It's surrounded by adorable local shops, so the whole area makes for such a fun outing. The menu had so many options that it was honestly hard to choose because everything sounded so good. They also had an extensive drink selection, and I loved that they were able to turn one of the drinks into a mocktail for me. It was so refreshing and perfect especially since the Arizona heat is starting to kick in. The staff and service were incredibly sweet, attentive, and accommodating. After we finished eating, we walked around all the nearby shops to check everything out and walk off our food. It turned such a simple lunch date into a memorable little day together. Definitely a place we will be visiting again.
