Our server was prompt. She was friendly, sweet & attentive. Hubby ordered a beer & I ordered Tito's & cranberry juice. Hubby's beer was really good. My drink was a light pour, but good. Of course we had to order the pretzel with beer cheese. Hubby got the spicy chicken sandwich with fries. I got the Mac & cheese. The pretzel & beer cheese was good like they always are. Arrived about 7pm on a Wednesday. We were greeted shortly thereafter. Requested patio seating to enjoy the mild weather. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable and provided recommendations as we sampled a couple beers. All were tasty and we decided on the Kush Dank IPA and the Backpacker New Zealand IPA to accompany our Brewers Board. On Wednesdays they have a special where you get two steins and a Brewers Board for $22, a great deal as regular price on the board is $25. The Brewers Board is a great appetizer to share as it includes a large pretzel, olives, peppers, prosciutto, beer brat, soppressata, grain mustered, beer cheese and maple butter. Great to share between 2-4 or a hearty mega carb meal for one. The Backpacker New Zealand IPA was crisp tasting with a clean finish. Flavor was bright with tropical fruits, berries and citrus notes. The Kush Dank IPA is a traditional west coast IPA with bold citrus, pine and earthy notes with a dry finish. There's nothing that tops Pedal Haus Brewery! They somehow nailed the balance of great food, great drinks, and a place you actually want to hang out in. After a long day at work, the only real therapy I need is sitting down at Pedal Haus and being served by Matteo while Gabe makes sure everything at the table is dialed in. At this point I'm convinced they've both earned honorary psychology degrees because they fix bad days pretty quickly. These two knuckleheads (said with love) always come through with the best food and drink recommendations, and their energy is half the reason we keep coming back. Matteo is consistently an awesome server, and Gabe somehow manages to keep an eye on everything without missing a beat. They've also successfully hooked me on multiple menu items and drinks that I probably wouldn't have tried otherwise. They have amazing recommendations The entire staff is welcoming, friendly, and makes you feel like you actually belong there--not just another table number. Whoever owns this place absolutely nailed the formula for a fun, relaxing sports bar that still feels like a legit restaurant. It was a beautiful day and I was dying to sit out on a patio somewhere. We settled on Pedal Haus and it was a great choice! I attempted to dine at the downtown location a couple years ago and it was an awful experience and I never actually got to enjoy the meal. We split a bbq bacon cheeseburger and a chop salad (very similar to a cobb) and it was enough for two of us. The front patio was mostly shaded and very enjoyable. Our original server was inattentive and Josette came to the rescue! She ended up taking care of us and was very personable and social and provided exceptional service despite being incredibly busy. read more

Michelle and I had a great visit, start to finish. We showed up with our dog and the host was great, she worked with to find a spot to give Bodhi a little extra moving room, without being in the way. Then our waitress came, Jo. She asked if we've been in before and then give us the lowdown on the beer and food recommendations, super freindly. The beer was delicious, I got the Black IPA (highly recommend it) & we shared some delicious food. So yes the food and drink was tasty, but the stars of this review is the staff. We interacted with 5 or six folks, all smiles. And the big bonus here is how they reacted with our dog. They took time to say hi, brought him dog treats and a bowl of water and generally were good folks. Yes, Bodhi is handsome and well behaved mut, but you can tell they are genuinely dog folks. One last thing, the environment. We sat outside on the side of the building, the inside was clean and welcoming and they have a large back space. It was nice and we will be back. read more

Came here last night coming from the airport, I didn't eat anything that day at all. I was so hungry and came around here to eat and grab a quick drink. We went to other places around that wasn't serving any food at 8:45pm when they close at 10pm. We came here to this lovely place right at 9pm (an hour before closing and we felt bad but I was so hungry) to see if we can still get food and they all were very welcoming and friendly and said they are still serving food. They still had a lot of people in there but We sat outside, it wasn't busy but when we came but you can tell this place gets busy. Our waitress was the best! Parker, is her name I believe. She is the sweetest and reassuring that we are okay. She suggested an IPA, 'white rabbit' I like sweet ones but they don't have sweet ones but the white rabbit was light and it's was pretty good. Absolutely loved it. She was amazing checking on us to make sure everything was okay. We got our food, the guy who brought them was awesome as well! and both the chicken sandwich and nachos were so delicious. The steak on the nachos was so good. The steak it's self and the chili beans were really tasty! We left around 9:40pm, I hated doing that but I was so hungry and the staff was all pretty awesome. I want to say thanks to all of them! I was pretty disappointed with Pedal Haus at Phoenix Sky Harbor. I ordered the pizza, and unfortunately it was burnt and honestly nothing special. For the price, I expected much better quality. The staff were very friendly and we were seated on the patio, where there were lots of televisions to watch sports games. Live music and regular music was playing, but it wasn't too loud where I couldn't speak with my friends. Sidenote, when we were first seated, I got a strange scent that reminded me of a stale water smell, but I started to notice it less as the meal went on. I ordered the pineapple jalepeño margarita and bbq burger, which came with fries. Absolutely loved the margarita - it was mostly sweet with a tiny kick of spice at the end that definitely tickles your throat! The burger was yummy, but pretty standard. The burger came out to be around $16, and most entrees were in the $14-$17 range. My friends got the chicken mac and cheese and chicken pesto, which were also decent. Dined at the downtown Chandler location on a Sunday night with a light crowd inside. The hostess sat us a table staring into the setting sun and the metal chairs were uncomfortable so our server let us move to the high top which was much better. I'd only been here for happy hour once before so I was excited to try a main course off the menu. First we ordered the bavarian pretzel and at $13 we were hoping it was amazing...and it was! It was large enough for 3 of us to split and it came with 3 dips which were all outstanding- a house mustard, beer cheese and maple butter. The maple butter was unique and tasty! We then ordered our meals. I got the Nashville hot chicken sandwich. My wife got a BBQ Bacon Burger and my son ordered the fish and chips. They come with 'seasoned' fries or for an upgrade garlic truffle fries. We all got the seasoned fries but ended up disappointed it was a very mild seasoning and after one bite of the Nashville hot sandwich I could no longer taste any seasoning on the fries. The chicken sandwich was really good but a tad smaller than I expected. The brioche bun was perfect as it was incredibly soft but held the sandwich together still. My wife enjoyed her burger and my son liked his fish and chips but he said it wasn't much different than anywhere else. I liked that we could talk to each other across the table easily as the ambient noise in the restaurant was nice and low. Even with about ten people at the bar just behind us it was a very comfortable setting. The music wasn't too loud and the TV volume was off. This is a nice touch as many breweries are very loud and I have a difficult time following the conversations at my own table. Super cool place and right across the street from the parking garage so you don't have a long walk to it! We came in for dinner on a Friday night ( peak chandler so expect waits!) and we found two recent open spots at the bar! Score! We ordered a beer and wine and settled into the menu. What a great menu it is! Offers main stay as well as some eclectic dishes. The service was also amazing. Two people working in the bar and both of them were super attentive to us. We were shocked to see they had a vegan menu so ordered off that. I wish I could give you the long list of meals we got to share, but we each got the mac n cheese (kinda holy grail for a vegan to find!). And yes, it was delicious! My hubby brought home their new SALMON dish. It was awfully BLAND. The little 2oz salmon sliver was dry. It had three small stripes of basil lime sauce on it. That was the only flavor in the whole dish. The cous-cous filled the to-go container but was unseasoned (I don't count the sparse confetti of broccoli and cauliflower in it as flavor.). So, if you like straight-up boiled pasta, this is the dish for you. Otherwise, this dish was allowed 3 sparse asparagus spears and 2 cherry tomatoes cut in half as flourishes. All for a fat $20. The reason I ordered their salmon is because, 2 years ago, their salmon dish was ample (4oz-5oz) and delicious with a citrus flavored vinaigrette. I returned to PH repeatedly for it. So, this salmon dish has gone far down hill; it's a true disappointment. If you do want salmon, maybe ask for it served on the house protein bowl (the one with quinoa and flavorful veggies). Last time I had that power bowl it was still a pleasant experience. But if they backPEDAL on the flavor in that dish next visit, I'm done with this place. read more

Let's start this off with the two of us were there on St. Patrick's Day. Probably close to noon or one.. Busy busy for the staff. Was about a 40 minute wait to get a spot on the patio to eat and have a beverage. Our staff member was a young man in his 20s and I wish I remember his name. He was highly amusing, attentive & relatable. Made you feel comfortable and part of the fun hustling and bustling of the ambience in the restaurant. Hat's off to the kitchen staff as well for delivering wings that my partner says are the best wings she ever had. I am almost positive I could agree. I'll have to try it for the third time just to make sure. . Really plump and juicy with just the right amount of sauce. We shared just the barbecue flavor this time. I typically like to go a little hotter like mango habanero style hot, but we were sharing the wings and an order of fries.. I'm rather particular about getting food, served hot, including french fries and this place was spot on. Well done, well done . The hiring team did it right and so did the staff. Came here on a Tuesday evening and had a great time. We sat in the bar area and didn't have to wait. The restaurant does have the pub vibe and they have the beer barrels as the tables. Not the most comfortable to sit at though. We loved the wings and got the hot honey flavor. 10/10. The pretzel with the beer cheese was delicious as well. My last couple visits at Pedal Haus have been great! Their patio is dog-friendly and spacious to bring pups and isn't too crowded early on a weekend for brunch. Their drink prices are excellent, especially during brunch. Service is excellent and the location is conveniently close to a parking garage. Recently, I've ordered the Asian steak & noodle salad and the PHB protein bowl with steak and both are great! They aren't typical brewery dishes and don't feel overly heavy. The service here was quick and kind- great team! They've done work to their patio in the last few years giving more shade, tables with fire pits, more TVs. I really like the patio! They do have a lot of high tables in and outside so if you don't like that make sure you specify! The food here is solid! Nothing stood out like you need to try it, but you will leave satisfied. We got the brat corn dogs and loaded fries for happy hour. Brats have a casing that makes corn dog eating a bit tougher than hot dogs- though the flavors were good. I like their mustard! The loaded fries had ground beef, beer cheese, goat cheese and mushroom gravy. They were really good- a few bites were super salty but then the goat cheese cuts through to give some relief. Their beers are also solid. The Oktoberfest is really smooth and flavorful while the 988 New England Style was a classic NE IPA. it brought bye back to Boston- piney but floral and smooth and not too sweet - really enjoyable! read more

I had some kind of beer (I forgot what it's called but it was one of their award winners), loaded fries, some boneless wing nugz in a chipotle bbq sauce, and a green tea shot (thanks, Diane!). Everything tasted great and the beer went down smoothly. I especially enjoyed nibbling on their fries but I would probably pass on their boneless wing nugz. I hate to give this place such a low rating because the beer was actually really good, but unfortunately everything else about the experience was disappointing. The food was terrible and overpriced, and the menu was surprisingly small. The restaurant itself also felt very small, or at least that's what we thought at first. Later we noticed there was a back bar area with plenty of seating, but we were placed outside on the patio in a corner. There seemed to be plenty of open space elsewhere in the restaurant, yet we were told that where we were seated was the only available option. We had a baby with us, which is the only reason I can think of for being placed there. The worst part of the experience, though, was the service. Our waitress acted like she hated working there, and the hostess had the same attitude. We ordered drinks that didn't arrive until about 30 minutes later--right as we were getting ready to walk out. When the waitress returned, we immediately ordered another round along with our food. She promised multiple times that our drinks were coming, but they never showed up. By the time they finally arrived, we were already halfway finished with our meal. Overall, the service was rude and inattentive, and the experience just wasn't enjoyable. The beer was great, but unfortunately that was the only highlight of the trip. Howevvvvvveeeerrrrr, after our disappointment at pedal haus, we walked down to THE PERCH BREWERY. Very different experience the service staff here is excellent. Big open restaurant. We sat right next to two macaws. Beautiful birds. We ended up having a dessert that was wonderful. Beers just as good if not better than the other place. Prices are better. Menu is a good size anyone can find a meal at the perch. And the birds are awesome and beautiful. Dinner and a show style. Won't ever be going back to the pedal haus. Gross! read more

We arrived with a big group on Sunday, there was 11 of us and a baby. We arrived right when they opened at 1030 on Sunday so they were able to accommodate us. No one was there yet and the server was super nice and changed the tv's to have the right football games on. We sat in the patio in the large circle tables which was perfect! Sometimes it's hard to hear each other or difficult to talk to other people when you're sitting at a rectangle table, so this was awesome! We could hear each other and face everyone. Which was nice! Beers were good, served cold! Loved that. We ordered a bunch of different things. Machines were great, and the wings were great! Two of us ordered the short rib hash, and one of them brought to the servers attention that there wasn't really any hash in it. The server agreed and offered tater tots to compensate. So bad news came from my brother - he was canceling his visit to my house for our Christmas gathering because his kids got sick. So for that night, plans were up in the air. I settled on just ordering out and staying home and watching the Tennessee v Ohio State game. The wife is a vegetarian and got a veggie burger. She is near impossible to impress, especially with ordering out since buns get squishy, fries get soggy, and hot sandwiches get cold. This time was no different - she was indifferent with her meal. I got standard bacon cheeseburger. It was good, but nothing crazy. I also ordered a growler of their Sourgarten, which is very unlike me. First, I had never ordered a growler in my entire life. Second, I had never tasted the Sourgarten. But it was a good gamble as I loved it! Pickup of the food was pretty straight forward but kind of funny. The hosts basically gave me the growler and the bartender quickly came out and was like no wait, gotta check your ID! Dont worry, my ID starts with a 19 so I was well within the age to purchase. :) On another note, while parking in downtown Chandler is a little wild I was really enjoying the vibe. We went here for a business dinner with a group of 9. They did take reservations, but it appeared that they could have accommodated us either way. They served us some giant beers in these great mugs and were all over the service. It was fast and we went ahead and order a pile of appetizer for the table. Everything came out fast and all the bits were good! Food followed shortly there after along with another round of beer. Between the group we ordered all kinds of different dishes and we were all happy with the dishes. If we go back down for more training I think we will definitely roll back through again. When I went I was hoping for the schnitzel since it was around oktoberfest but they were sadly all out, next year I'll have to visit earlier in the month!
