Late night dinner with teammates and looking for a spot that was chill, had a solid food and drink menu and of course not to far away, this was our choice. It turned out to be perfect! This is pretty much a sports bar. Tons of tv's with various sports and other entertainment showing, Larger open space with tables to accommodate parties of all sizes, and even patio seating. The menu had great variety. Pizzas, sandwiches, pot pies, salads, appetizers, and the list goes on. For a place we initially though was more of a bar, the food selection and quality was very impressive. Overall, we all had a great experience! The chill vibe was the perfect way to end our evening.

Great ambiance and cool place to visit BUT the Caesar salad had no flavor and the dressing made the salad seem wet. The lettuce seemed like it was from a bag. I scooped some salad onto my plate and found a hair the server was quick to bring a fresh new salad, still tasted wet. I wouldn't get it again. The chicken pesto pizza was good and cheesy, the crust was thin and crisp but also lacked a punch of flavor. It was better when we dipped our slices in ranch and buffalo sauce. It would have also been bomb with as garlic oil drizzle.

"A bar is to go to get a little bit buzzed, and pleasantly derange the senses, and have a good time, and interact with other people, or make bad decisions, or feel bad about your life. It's not to sit there f*cking analyzing beer." ― Anthony Bourdain SanTan Brewing has always been a winner in my eyes. I pop in every so often, Oktoberfest included, and I've never left disappointed. The food holds its own next to the brews, and lately one of my girlfriends has become obsessed with their ale-battered fries. For me, the Mr. Pineapple and Little Orange Alien are the dependable standbys. They're both bright, fun, and easy to sip for a non-beer drinker like me. And when winter rolls in, you got to order the Winter Warmer. At 9.5%, it sneaks up on you, but the real charm arrives on the side: three tiny, homemade, ginger cookies. It's delightful, and I'll be the first to admit that I'm here for the cookies just as much as the beer.

If you are planning to experience the different restaurants and bars in Downtown Chandler, San Tan Brewing Company is a good place to begin. You can enjoy a delicious hearty meal with their micro brew beer. There are several televisions to watch your favorite team and the service was very friendly. They also have indoor and outdoor seating.

Q: What did the beer sing on the beach? A: "Don't worry. Be hoppy." SanTan Brewing Company, your Chandler sweetheart since 2007. If you have lived in Arizona long enough, you'd have most likely tried a SanTan beer at some point or another. My go-tos: Mr. Pineapple, Little Orange Alien, and Happy Little Accident. Throw in their ale battered fries and you have yourself a nice evening. Come for St. Paddy's Day, Oktoberfest, et cetera. They have great seasonal offerings.

First timer. Good vibe. Nice setting in the he downtown area. Super cool at this time of year (Christmas) as you can see the Tumbleweed Christmas tree from the patio dining area. I had a flight of beers. Very good! I had a burger, cooked as ordered, med! Tasty sweet tater waffle fries. Mitchell was very attentive and informative. My judge is "will I return?" 100%. Well done folks.

Excellent selection of various beers and spirits, most are crafted in house! Had a chance to dine in for dinner with this restaurant and it did not disappoint. The kids menu had great selections, but the chicken nuggets (more like mini tenders) were the winner. Even our pickiest eater enjoyed them and we had to order seconds. If you're a ranch fanatic, like myself, the ranch is house made and is one of the best I've had. It is a little more on the salty side, so be aware. Worth a try, especially with their extensive beers that they have on tap. They've got TVs around the entire restaurant, so you can catch your favorite game while dining in. The owner is also a huge Star Wars fan, check out all the Lego models!

I decided to try the fried chicken sandwich and my buddy tried the chipotle burger. Both of them were very delicious and perfect size. Came with fries, which were perfectly cooked. The service was not too bad our waitress because we sat at the bar kind of disappeared for a while, but looked like she was a manager getting things done. The ambience was good little music in the background chill the chatter, not too loud the way you can still talk with who you're sitting next to without talking too loud. I highly recommend this place and we will be going back one day soon.

Our first visit to San Tan Brewing Company- but definitely not our last! This place was PACKED when we showed up, but there was no wait. Definitely a plus. The service was fast & friendly. It was a fun environment, pretty loud. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. My only complaint is the water... it did not taste good at all. Probably the worst restaurant water I've had in quite a while. I ordered the chicken strip plate with fries & a side of ranch. It was ON POINT. YUM! My husband ordered the Smoker Plate. To my surprise, the sausage on the plate was absolutely amazing. On top of how great everything tasted, the prices were more than fair. Another plus! & Their habanero BBQ sauce is excellent. I had to get an additional side because it was so good!!! 5 stars, easily. We definitely chose the right place for dinner!

I am literally so sad to be writing this review. We have come to SanTan so many times in the last 9 years, brought every visitor here, and enjoyed many meals. I think tonight was our last visit. I want to start off by saying, service was STELLAR. Sydney was our server, and she was so friendly. 5/5 for her! The hosts were also friendly and welcoming. We waited about 20 minutes for our table tonight (Friday) at 6pm. Now...onto the burgers. My burger (ordered medium well) was completely charred, as was the bacon on it. I couldn't even force myself to eat half of it. There was no flavor, like the meat was unseasoned. The buns are now too soft/sweet and got soggy quickly. The fries are also significantly less seasoned and much softer than usual. 2/5 for the food. My husband ordered the same burger I did, but cooked medium. It was only marginally better than mine, the only difference being the lack of char taste.

    Bourbon Brisket Pot Pie

I finally made it to SanTan Brewing Company after hearing so many friends rave about their pot pies, and wow - they lived up to the hype. We started with the Buttermilk Onion Rings and I swear the pile was massive. The look on my face had to have been priceless when they landed on our table. Crispy, golden, and perfect for sharing. The main reason I came was for the pot pies. I had a taste of the Smoked Chicken Pot Pie (perfection), but went with the Bourbon Brisket Pot Pie for myself. First off, whaaaat?! Totally worth it. The smoke, the brisket, that flaky crust - every bite was hearty and packed with flavor. They definitely don't skimp on the meat. Service was good overall. The greeters were friendly, and while we had to flag our server down a couple times, it didn't take away from the experience. The atmosphere is fun and casual, the kind of place that works just as well for a relaxed dinner as it does hanging out with friends over a beer. I left full, happy, and already planning my next visit. Definitely recommend giving the pot pies a try - they're something special here.

It turns out that one of the oldest curators and bartenders of the bar and restaurant had passed from a drunk driving incident and I had not known at all! Unfortunately, that's about where the positives end. If you're coming for the food or the service, I'd suggest looking elsewhere. We came in as a party of five a little after 9:00 PM and were told the kitchen closed at 10:00 PM. No problemo, we were ready to order right away. Instead, our server didn't return to take our order until around 9:20PM, despite nearby tables continuing to receive service. That was the first sign things weren't going well. I ordered the carne asada nachos specifically because the menu advertised them with queso instead of shredded cheese. I even mentioned to my group that was the reason I was ordering them. I also added a side of sweet potato waffle fries. About 25 minutes after we had already placed our order, the server came back and asked if I'd like a different meat. Like of course I don't want a different meat that's why I ordered carne asada. The server didn't say that they were out of carne asada, but I read between the lines and opted for ground beef cause really the queso is what makes the nachos. Also, I couldn't help wondering why it took 25 minutes to find that out. Then the food arrived. My nachos immediately looked different than expected. Instead of queso, they were covered with shredded cheese. Nothing was mentioned about being out of queso. I notice there was none. When I asked about it, the server casually said, "Oh yeah, we're out of queso too." Wait...what? So the restaurant was out of both the carne asada and the queso. The two main ingredients that made me order the dish in the first place. No one cared to mentioned either of those things when taking my order OR when coming back and asking if I wanted a different meat didn't also mention they were out of queso. Had I known, I would have ordered something completely different from the start. To the server's credit, she did let me order something else. Sucks for the kitchen because they were already closed. I ended up getting the sliders, but they were just as underwhelming as everything else. The food overall tasted like frozen products that had simply been reheated. Nothing tasted fresh, especially considering the prices. The biggest issue wasn't just the mediocre food, it was the lack of communication and straight lie when placing my food in front of me. If items are unavailable, tell customers before they order or at least when placing their food down, not after they've waited half an hour and not saying anything at all. Between the disappointing service, poor communication, and unforgettable food for all the wrong reasons, this place completely lost my trust. I'd honestly rather spend half the money at IHOP, where the food is more consistent and I'd know what to expect.
