Food is absolutely delicious. I had an amazing chicken salad and my husband had the linguine and clams. Went back the following week and had the pasta and pizza, also delicious. It is a little pricey but the convenience of stopping to have a nice lunch while out shopping was so nice. It's our go to restaurant when we visit the south coast plaza. The bread they give you as an appetizer is really good. It doesn't taste like any other bread I've had before. The lasagna and spaghetti were ok. I would not order them again. If I came back I'd try a pizza. The desert was like an apple pie but was more unique in flavor. Unfortunately the bottom of it was entirely burned. Overall the service was better than the taste. We visited 33rd annual Southern California Spring Garden show at South Coast Plaza and Fleurs De Villes shows. After looking through Fleurs De Villes displays we decided to get something to eat. It was around 12:30pm and was a busy Sunday due to the shows. We walked past Quattro Caffe and tried our luck, while places were packed, we were lucky enough to get seats for two. After we sat down our waitress provided us with the menu right away and took our drink order. After looking through the menu, we have decided to order the following items: - Bread with Olive Oil and Balsamic Vinegar - Great, bread was warm, soft, and tasty with olive oil and balsamic. - Truffle Fries - Great, we were surprised how good the Truffle fries are. Fries are prepared in a thin stick shape with truffles sprinkled on top of it. It was very tasty as well as great textures. - Zuppa Di Verdure soup - Good, it was good, if there were some drips of cream that might have enhanced the flavor. - Fettuccine Alfredo Con Pollo Cajun Style - Good, it was pretty good. - Agnello Con Rosmarino Ai Porcini - Great, lamb was cooked perfectly and the flavor was delicious as well. The simmered Italian rice was great. - Tiramisu - Good, it was a pretty good and decent tiramisu. - Torta Lava Cake - Great, both dessert plating was alike but lava cake has vanilla ice cream on the side and sauce on the bottom of the cake. It was rather delicious. - Cappuccino - Espresso Overall experience was decent, and we'll return for more Italian food. read more

The service from BouBou was absolutely wonderful! You can tell when you have a true professional and experienced server, and BouBou was exactly that! She took charge in a massively busy room, but our food and drinks were exactly as ordered and delicious! We will definitely return. Very good food all around it looked to me. However, since I am a senior citizen, smallish female eater would have liked to been able to get a half order of pasta and or some 1/2 sandwiches. As it was I took home half of my chicken, pesto panini. I will also say I don't typically like to dine two feet from others. This restaurant is "tight". There are tons of service people (too many if you ask me; water does not need to be filled after every sip) and wait staff milling around very close which I did not like. May or may not return. If I want good Italian food, Maggianos is very nearby as well. Food priced okay; but desserts are mostly $18!!! too much unless you are sharing and both want the same thing. read more

I've been to the South Coast plaza for many years, but never got the opportunity to try Quattro Cafe or even when it used to be called the Armani Cafe until recently. My friends and I came to South Coast Plaza for lunch and shopping. We weren't sure what we wanted to eat, but since some of the other options had long lines we decided on Quattro Cafe which seated us right away. We decided to do family style and all shared the calamari, wise guy salad, & summer pasta which was a "summer special". The complementary sourdough bread with balsamic vinegar and olive oil was a great addition to our meal. The service was great and they checked up on us several times. If you're craving a good Italian meal pre or post shopping I recommend checking out this restaurant. read more

Great Italian food with friendly staff. This restaurant is inside of the mall, so it is noisier than your average restaurant. The decor has black and white picture of Sophia Loren all over. This place is always fairly busy on the weekends. Nikki helped us out and delivers top notch service. She has been my waitress before and is always very attentive. The food is excellent. Great chicken parm, and love the octopus appetizer/salad. I haven't tried the pizza, but it looks like good, with nice, thin crust. I'll be sure to order that next time. I will definitely be returning the next time I come to South Coast Plaza. read more

Menu selections make it hard to choose as they are all favorites. the only thing I do miss are the breadsticks they used to serve. They were crispy and peppery with a hint or olive oil. The calamari was amazing - so light and juicy. The spicy marinara sauce went so well with them. The linguine vongole wow sooo much clams included. The sauce was flavorful and tasty and so light tasting. The clams were huge and yummy. The shrimp pasta was just delicious - it was a part of their special menu. Huge juicy perfectly grilled shrimp - tasted so sweet and good. I usually dont like fettuccine noodles cause it's so heavy but the white wine garlic and cherry tomatoes really elevated the dish. Although this place is pretty pricey it is absolutely delicious. We came at 5:30 on a weekday and were able to get seated as a party of two very easily. The servers were very nice and helpful. The location is inside South Coast Plaza. They bring to the table delicious bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar absolutely an amazing appetizer. I'm so glad to see that they have a vegan section on the menu with a few different choices. I decided to try the edamame tofu ravioli and was delighted by the flavors. I was very satisfied with my meal and can't wait to try other items on the menu. While I won't be going here often due to the price it is delicious and a great place to go for a nice treat and to celebrate. read more

I love this place. It is always busy and their Italian food is yummy. This is like the 3rd time I've been here. I usually dine out alone and I find that some restaurants don't cater to solo diners. Not this place. They seat you quickly even when it's busy and they are very friendly and welcoming to everybody. Today I had the risotto, and crème brûlée for dessert. They give you a good, healthy portion of risotto. It is also very tasty. I also ordered a crème brûlée along with an iced mocha for dessert. All dishes were yummy. What a fabulous night we had here, there were 35 of us, and Domenico put on one of his famous cooking shows, making us all a four course gourmet meal, serving white and red wine flowing all evening, with the most delicious Tiramisu for dessert. The friends I brought with me have been sending text messages like crazy thanking me for an incredible evening, with great service, wonderful food, their house musician and Domenico couldn't have serenaded us more beautifully or cooked a better four course meal for everyone. Our sever was TERRIBLE! He was wandering around the restaurant ...as if he was lost or something. Very confused the whole time. He was also serving the older couple next to us and they were annoyed at him as well...they had to ask him twice where their lattes were at! He was A MESSS!! I have to say, the food was yummy!!! I enjoyed my meal to the fullest no complaints besides the bad server! We had an excellent busser keeping us happy with his great attitude! He kept checking in on us.his name was Altero! My friend asked the server for a candle for my birthday dessert and he forgot it. We asked the busser and he immediately got it for us! Altero was sweet and even gave me a birthday hug. Even though he was busy, he managed to be attentive unlike our server. Towards the end, we ordered a tiramisu as Altero and the other busser recommended! The best tiramisu...I am usually "ehhh" about it but this time it was the best! Made in house with fresh ingredients! If it's your first time order the seafood pasta, I should say that everything is shareable..the portions are huge! It was a very chilly afternoon..the cafe latte was also a nice touch to our dinner!
